What would you like to see the most?

At this stage of TNM, what is the one feature you would like to see added the most?

Probably the one thing that is "impossible" under the current engine- a way of doing triple threat/ four-way-dance/ 6-man-scramble whatever you wanna call it- non-battle-royale matches that have everyone in the ring at once interacting to a single finish.

Okay, maybe one other thing- a way to book a Survivor Series tournament where only the survivors advance, resulting in odd matchups (like five on one team, one on the other, etc.).

-A tag that enables wrestlers to land on their feet on the apron when thrown out of the ring.

-A tag that allows you to turn "attacking the referee" on and off for each individual wrestler.

-Lucha Libre rules for tag team matches (ie: if the legal man leaves the ring, willingly or otherwise, his partner becomes the legal man)

-A plug-in similar to FCACubed but made by Oliver.

-The ability to have "first fall wins" in Battle Royals ;)

A match scheduler feature where you could book more than one card in advance inside of TNM, but the card itself doesn't run until all prior cards in the queue are run.  This would allow for the computerized setup of entire lengthy feuds including knowing exactly when the payoff match will be.  I would love to be able to sit down and enter a entire month worth of cards at one sitting and then run the cards at my leisure while still having the ability to make changes on the fly to cards that aren't "finalized" until they are ready to be run.

You should see a doctor about that.

In answer to the question, I don't think you can do handicap elimination matches, IE DX vs the Spirit Squad. Don't get me wrong, I haven't lowered my standard to that level yet, but it would still be a cool feature, without having to book an elimination match, pack the handicapped side with jobbers and book them all to go out in the first minute before later erasing their existance.

The ONE thing... hmm... must be to be able to tell TNM how long the match will last, without telling it who wins.

Expanding on the 'more in depth booking in Tournaments' thing... I'd love to be able to book EVERY MATCH in a tournament. Decide who fights who, decide who wins, how, and when, so on and so forth. This does not mean I want to see the current tournament system abolished (because sometimes it's just more fun not knowing, y'know?)

The only reason I bring this up is because i just ran a tourney to decide the #1 Contender for the World Title, and two people i'd slated to start feuding ended up in the Finals. I would've loved to have that match go no-contest or draw, and have the World Title defended in a Three-Way with the unfortunate champ caught in the middle of this quickly deepening feud.

As always the feature i want most is to be able to go back and edit my card in case i make a mistake, or book the wrong worker, without having to rebook the whole
card from the beginning.

Couldn't you just use Circuit Editor for that?

No, he means before running a card, make some adjustments. Sure, you can just edit the results, but it's not an accurate reflection of what happened in the match. Plus, it can distort heat ratings if you put the wrong participant in the match instead of the intended.

My bad. That IS a good feature. Expanding on that: I'd like the ability to back out of saving a card the same way you can back out of the hiring process. Usually, i'm using the keyboard to run TNM7, and I cannot tell you the amount of times I've messed up booking a card when my fingers went through the sequence of going into a singles match and searching for a wrestler, but instead took me right to the 'Give your card a name' screen. I've had many an unfinished 'houseshow' spring up because of this.
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/04/06 at 14:45:55

While I didn't expand on my advanced card scheduler idea, Munshun, this is part of what I was meaning.  I know that at one time, Oliver was working on such a windows based scheduler where you could make changes such as you have described prior to running a card, hence why I was asking for something that I knew was already in the pipeline.  ;)

Another thing: how about injuries of varying severity? Kinda like the injuries in GM Mode in the new Smackdown game, but not exactly.

Recall Batista's injury back in November, right before Survivor Series? It was a back injury he sustained from a double chokeslam from Kane and Big Show. It was bad, but he was working through it till he got that injury from Mark Henry in January. What if TNM had something like that?

Someone gets injured in a match, but it's not a sidelining injury. You can still book them in matches, but maybe there stamina takes a hit till the injury has healed? Perhaps there's also the probability of them getting a much more severe injury or aggrivating the already existing one if they're pushed too hard.

This way, if a champion or someone involved in a big angle gets a minor injury, you have time to book them out of the belt/angle, instead of immediately scrambling for a substitute.

Severe injuries would still pop up, but perhaps they'll be much more rare than minors. There could even be settings for the frequency of both in TweakCirc. You could set Minor Injuries to happen every 100 or 200 matches, and Major Injuries to happen every 300 to 500.

Whaddya think?

I know that it is supposed to be coming at some point, but the TNM Control Center is absolutely needed. Having a place where we can sort all the moves in the database by damage and also easily just check off which moves can end matches and things like this would make things so much easier. Not to mention being able to edit wrestlers quicker and more efficiently by being able to sort them all by push/workrate/etc. TO me, this needs to be done before anything else.
