Contract lengths

I would really like to offer contracts down to 1 card, or perhaps a one-shot contract offer. A lot of Indies use these for workers appearing one show only (Kobashi comes to mind), and it would be nice to have that opportunity.

At this point, the way I do that is with the "~" key, which will let you book anybody in your database- then they just appear in that one card and are done.

That's why the "~" feature is there.  :)  And I too use it frequently.

I think he's saying he wants to be able to offer the guy a contract though, ie so he has the option to refuse. (As a work around, you could offer him the contract, if he accepts, just say 6 and change it in TweakCirc.)

Crpls had it right, I want to be able to offer a worker a 1-card contract, and he can refuse it. With the ~ key, he can't refuse it.

I'm pretty sure 6 is the fewest Oliver can go, since TNM has ALWAYS been that way, at least since 6.2 and probably even further back.  I'm guessing that it has something to do with the logical/learning that TNM does as your circuit progresses.

That having been said, I can the usefulness of said contract lengths.  Of course, you could always sign a guy to a 6 card deal and only use him for one show, in a Vince McMahon-ian/Eric Bischoff-ian sort of way, thusly claiming that you signed said deal to keep them away from other competing companies.

Didn't know that was a programming issue.. thought it was only a logical thougth.. that nobody was hired for less than 6 months. Well, if it is programming, I guess we can always use tweak circ
