DQable moves

I've always wanted to see moves you can get DQed for...but not like choke holds, where they count to 5...more like low blows and such.

any move can be made illegal.  The ref just doesn't always call it.

I thought if you clicked illegal, it still did the five count thing.  Or is there another option?
americamamushiPosted on 08/19/05 at 04:42:17

huh, maybe I'm wrong.  I just checked the low blow in my database and illegal isn't checked and the help button does specifically mention a five count.  I could swear I've had DQs after low blows... maybe I'm imagining it. :)

low blow is DQ-able in my circuit. But only because I checked it to be so...

From what I remember, moves are dqable immediately whereas holds/submissions, are countable.

I must admit my memory is a little fuzzy, but I think this was brought up during SE development and eventually implemented like that - illegal submission moves triggered 5-counts while illegal non-submission moves triggered a flat DQ.

If not, I'm sure Rob Bihari is still nagging Oliver about it...  ;D

It's like Josh said. The feature, not the nagging, that is ;)
