# 1 wish: Edit booked matches w/mistakes

Magister369Posted on 08/04/05 at 17:51:10

it is a old wish, but i still want to be able to edit matches
after i have finished booking. I hate it more than anything to make a mistake book the match then have to delete the whole card just correct the mistake.

I don't have to delete the card, but the entire circuit.... So I agree.. You should be able to change the matches before you save the card.

I will address this with the new Windows-based card scheduler. However, I'll have to start over with that one because I'm not happy with the first prototype at all.

While it can feed the match server and the match engine properly, I tried to emulate the DOS-based scheduler too closely. On going back to the project, I realized that wasn't a good idea.

This is a project I want to get off the ground. The only problem is that people will initially be disappointed either way because if I keep it too close to the DOS version, one group will complain that it should utilize Windows better, and if I make it utilize Windows best, another group will complain that they want their old scheduler back ;-)

Nah, not as long the program works and the current circuits will convert perfectly to it ;)

That's why I want to do this module by module.

The card scheduler will be first. You will be able to run it as a plugin instead of the regular "Schedule New Card" option.

Hence, it won't be the circuits having to integrate in it but actually the other way round.
