Renaming question
ggazoo | Posted on 12/07/06 at 14:48:16 When you rename a wrestler half-way through a circuit, and TNM asks "Do you want to change his name in the rankings too?", does also apply to past cards? For example, if I use Mankind in a card called "SummerSlam '96", but change his name to Mick Foley a few cards down the road, when I look at the results of "SummerSlam '96", will his name still be Mankind, or will it be changed to Mick Foley? And how does it work with title histories? Same thing or not? |
K-Rupt | Posted on 12/07/06 at 18:08:48 It doesn't alter names in previously run cards. I just renamed Umaga to Jamal. Before renaming: Elimination Match:After renaming: Elimination Match:I would assume the same applies to title histories, but I don't have champions in my circuit yet. |
ggazoo | Posted on 12/07/06 at 21:26:16 But in your example it did alter his name? He didn't show up as Jamal after the rename, which is what I was asking about. |
lazy_duck | Posted on 12/07/06 at 22:39:13 if you rename a wrestler it will not change the name in prior cards. only cards foward. It will not change them in the ttle history. If you change the name of a current champion when you pick him for a match TNM will not ask if its for the belt.It will assume it is a different person You will have to hand the belt over to the renamed person example: Low ki is x div champ change to Senshi If you choose Senshi to defend title against homicid it will not ask you "is this for the x div title" |
