GREAT NEW CONCEPTUAL IDEA FOR TNM!

AnubisPosted on 08/02/04 at 00:32:33

I dunno if this would be possible, easy, or difficult to do.

What if there was a way to export a roster printout either to a text file or, better yet, an HTML file of its own?  It would list each wrestler in the promotion at the time along with their height and weight and possibly their hometown and stats as well.

On the same note, maybe an HTML file for the ratings export would be a nifty idea as well.

Opinions?

There already is a program that export your fed's roster w/nicknames, HT, WT, hometown, Finisher and I believe how many cards are left on their contract (all outputs are optional as well) to an HTML file.

To that same regard there are programs (made by the same person) that will export singles, tag, & 6-man ratings to an HTML file too.

There is also one that exports a list of your refs, their gender, & I think their strictness rating thingy.

If thats what you mean. (I have noticed that for a few of my feds in the past it doesn't work for some reason sometimes, maybe something to do with fed's folder's name or something, I dunno)

Where can I find it?  That's actually exactly what I'm talking about.

http://www.exportcity.hypermart.net/plugins.htm - Towards the bottom (By JonnyTNM)

http://www.jonnytnm.20m.com/ - Directly from the guy's website (In the plugouts section)

After you've generated your roster/ratings there will be a link to his site at the very end in the last column in the last row after the text.  You'll have to either edit it with notepad (or HTML program obviously) and take it out or at least move it out of the table so it doesn't look like crap.

Anyway, enjoy ;D

Well, I tried those programs, and the only ones that work are the ones to export the singles ratings and the champions.  The rest crash for apparently no reason.

I think it's not compatible with TNM7SE, at least not fully.  That or it's buggy.  Nonetheless, the damn thing keeps crashing after I answer the last question for all but two of the programs.

It crashed before on me too, it's not just on SE.  In my experience (i think) it only works if your TNM7 folder is directly in C:\.  Make sure that you are entering the folder location correctly and your federation's folder name correctly.  If it still doesn't work it's just because the program hates you. ;)

I have no problems with the programs with TNM7FE, I have had all of them except for the champions one crash in SE. There is still one I can't run in FE but I forgot what it was because I since deleted it.
