Thank you!

I just wanted to drop a quick "thank you" to everybody posting in this particular forum. While I'm not participating in discussion thus far, I *am* looking at ideas and pointers.

I'm very proud of the people here for not just bitching and whining (as is routinely being done in another well-known sim product forum *g*) but rather giving well thought-through suggestions and lively discussion surrounding them.

Thanks again!

Anytime - we're not the sort of people to pregnant dog to you at every turn, we're not going to call you a illegitimate child or an small donkey when something goes wrong, and we're certainly not a bunch of uptight self pleasurers who have to moan all the time like a bunch of mans love lengths. :P

BWAHAHAHAHA!  That's clever 91. ;D

And thank you, Oliver.  Ever since you returned to active TNM duty, it's been an absolute pleasure talking with you.  You've been very helpful, both with the problems we might bump into and with the requests for insight into how TNM works that come up from time to time.

I've said it before, but thanks.

Censorship makes for more creative writing doesn't it?  :)  Censorship is what still makes the old Match Game game shows watchable, as most of the double entendre's they use to hint at on that show cause they weren't allowed to say them, would never even be used in a modernized version, as almost anything is allowed to be said on US TV.

And Oliver... you are definitely one of the most accessible gaming authors ever.  And as a user of TNM since the 6.2 days, I must say it's an honor and a privilege to be a user of the masterpiece that no one has even come close to replicating, even with the GPL of the 6.2 code.  :)

a) The board's censoring function has now been turned off ;)

b) Thank you for the kind words, Eric and Rick.

You know, the 6.2 GPL code looks horrendous but to my knowledge, nobody has even *tried* doing anything with it... which is a shame because anybody now has a basic wrestling sim with a basic match engine that they could tweak to their likings. It's not rocket science, y'know ;)
