More of an Idea for this website

Start up a moves database where people would know what certain moves are! I miss the old moves board that was on the OLD TNM site. Although it was abused, it was informative. I think instead there should be a FAQ section on moves

In the interim, there are a few resources out there...

Page of 1000 Holds / Big Big Book of Wrestling Moves

Decent site.  The move names are sorted in a very generic fashion, they don't adddress move variants as well as they should, and quite frankly I think a couple of the moves they have listed may be plain wrong (not the descriptions but what the generic name for certain wrestler's trademark moves were).

There is also some leftovers from the TEC project - a list of moves and dives in TNM7...

Those haven't been updated in a bit, most noteably needing to add moves that were added in exports for SE.  Plus there's no descriptions...yet.  Revamping these two pages are on the to do list for TNM 3:16 but time is a problem.

The way I learnt about alot of moves was from Video Games.  Check out the Fire Prowrestling Series if you can.

If you know about Emulation, check out the SNES game Super Fire ProWrestling X Premium.  There is also a patch for the ROM so most of the game is translated to english.  But anyways when you create a wrestler or edit one, when you go to pick moves, it shows a small example of each move with two Demo Wrestlers.  It's really quite cool & very informative.

Not as a cheap plug or anything, but the members over at http://www.wrestletalk.shiningwizard.com are actively working on a huge movelist. We don't have move descriptions there, but if you ask you'll receive a pretty quick answer.
