Brett Sawyer?

JeepGuyPosted on 01/14/08 at 21:08:26

Anyone? Anyone?

Anyone have Brett to go along with Buzz?

He is NOT the same guy as "Smart" Bart Sawyer from PNW and USWA.  But Bart claimed their lineage even though he wasn't a true "brother".

Nope, looking for Brett Sawyer, Buzz' real brother and tag team partner.

If you can link some Youtube videos of him it might light a fire under us to make one. I tend to do a bit of googling when I make exports too...even if I can't find movelists for a guy, I can often find their finisher and get a general idea about their style.

I did a little bit of looking for info with not much luck as far as movelists and finisher. I do remember seeing him wrestle in the past but that was so long ago, I can't remember what he did in the ring.

That was a great suggestion about Youtube and I'll have a look there to see if any of his matches are posted.

I have it, not extremely accurate, but I took some moves from his matches in Portland, and Georgia, then added some basic moves from the '80s, and came up with it.

Let me know if you're interested.
JeepGuyPosted on 01/17/08 at 21:37:29

I am interested.

Thanks
Memphis VicePosted on 01/20/08 at 16:44:34

Masked_Texan, you seem to have a lot of oldschool guys in your circuits that aren't available elsewhere and would be of interest to this board. I specifically remember looking at your website and seeing a bunch of guys I would like to use, but don't know quite enough about to make an export without some serious research.
JeepGuyPosted on 01/20/08 at 17:10:08

Masked_Texan was nice enough to help out a fellow Texan with the Brett export.

Thanks!

Yeah, maybe Masked_Texan can enlighten us with his old school export. It seems like it would be the definitive exports of the kayfabe era of wrestling.

Works for me.  ;)
Masked_TexanPosted on 01/20/08 at 19:41:39

wow, hey thanks, guys. ;D

Like I was telling Jeep, they're not extremely accurate, but I did my best to at least put some accurate finishers, heights and weights, as well as a move set that were in use in the 80's.

Even though I don't post much, I lurk around quite a bit, so, if anyone needs anything, let me know, and I'll do my best to get it to you.

Could you export all of your database? Maybe Oliver could post it somewhere on the main page and give you credit obviously.

Lurker or not, you've been very helpful to me with the couple of exports and answers to my questions which I greatly appreciate.

okay, I'll work on that this week, and maybe if we can't post it on the main page, I can put it on my old website.

As far as credit, nah, I'm not worried about that.  I'm just adding on to what Oliver and many of the other export creators have already done.  I've created a few of my own, but not like Oliver and others have.

Rick GarrardPosted on 01/21/08 at 00:52:54

actually you should send them to KingOfOldSchool... Peter Abram for his TNM-UK site.
