Question about the wrestlers and a request

Well, it's been a while, but TNM 7 is once again installed on my computer!

That said, this is the first time it's been installed on this computer, so I have a couple questions:

1. I have a 2.01 GHz machine with 2.00 GB of Dual-Channel DDR2 RAM; how many wrestlers can I put in my TNM 7 and the program still run at pretty much full speed?  I ask this because I do recall there being a sort of "safe limit" on the number of wrestler present in the database.

2. Assuming I could have potentially thousands, does anyone have an export file with all wrestlers in it?  The link on the site doesn't work.  It is even better if all these wrestlers work on your computer at full speed, as that would pretty much guarantee it'll work on mine as well.

Thanks in advance!

the limitation is within the DOS programming language itself and not in how good or how fast your computer is.  And the reason the allwrest file is no longer available is because too many people were installing it and then claiming that their TNM was broken even after the warning was posted that installing all would kill their TNM.

Ahhh, thanks for the explanation. In that case, what is the maximum number of wrestlers that can be safely imported?

I run Windows XP, and so don't have a DOS base but rather just the XP emulator or whatever . . . Not sure how it's determined in that case.

you'll know it when you see the error message ;)

actually I think it ranges from 600 to 1000 but someone else is more qualifed to answer this than I.  I never push the limit on number or wrestlers.

I have had up to 1400 on mine without any problems, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'd say keep about 500 or so on your computer and if you need more, import them as you need them.

.....in FE I had about 1100 wretlers, but in SE I start getting problems around 700 or so.....
