I need some help

ZedjaPosted on 08/25/05 at 12:48:59

I need some help creating a wrestler. He shouldn't be the "common" wrestler, but rather a greco-roman wrestler. I am however uncommon with the types of moves such a wrestler would perform. I know he should usually use mat-wrestling moves, but also some tosses.

I know for a fact that his favourite move was a slam headlock. But he never tried "professional" wrestling.

The thing is, I need him for an upcoming storyline. So I can't really reveal who it is.

Well...  If it's got the word "takedown" in it, you should probably include the move.  Toss in a few basic submission moves (Armbar, single-leg takedown into a leglock, front facelock, etc) and you should have at least 10.  Then add a few strikes, a chokehold or two if he's going to be a heel, a belly-to-belly suplex and side suplex, and as many roll-up variations as you can think of.

...

Or just Clone Kurt Angle, change the height, weight, name, build, finisher, etc and take out all the Pro-Wrestling type moves.

Thanks. Kurt Angle wasn't a Greco-Roman wrestler though. He was a Freestyle wrestler. I think William Regal would be closer to clone.

Or maybe I should do the real simple thing and clone Frank Andersson...

Chance are not many knows who Frank Andersson is. Besides, you have an export of him? Now that is cool.

The Frank Andersson export can be found on the Main page :) It's just misspelled.

Don't worry about people not knowing him ;) Once I start my circuit for real (without the preshows) I will make sure people know him. But for now, here's his Wikipedia entry.

The early 90's they mention were 94-95. He didn't get to wrestle for a long time since they didn't have much of a storyline for him.. But I think it was he who brought the Northern Lights Suplex to professional wrestling.

Had to have the only swede who has ever wrestled in what we used to call "American" wrestling ;D

Interesting thought about the Northern lights suplex.. I remember it being an innovative move I'd never seen before. Too bad he didn't get any decent storylines, but to be honest, he didn't exactly have a buttload of charisma, and he was rather old, wasn't he?

TV3 should bring back Bruno and Hoa Hoa and buy the rights to TNA..  ;D

I know and his English skills were rather limited.. He will turn 50 next year. So he was actually younger than Batista is now. Not to mention Flair. However... He entered WCW at the wrong time as they had just gotten Hogan.
