Old school exports

SuperhumanPosted on 05/11/05 at 20:27:04

Does anyone know of any user that has exports of older wrestlers?  The old TNM Genesis website has been gone for a while, and I don't know who else may have some older wrestlers' exports.  Am replaying older WWWF/WWF/WWE cards and need the older guys.

Well, there was a user that used to post an old school territory type circuit. His user name is Masked_Texan. He had quite the extensive amount of old school exports for it too (and obviously you would with so many territories to run).

I've already e-mailed him about the possibility of allowing an export of his wrestler database. Although, I don't think he's used this website for awhile.

Magister3 is another user I've received an old school database export from as well.

How does one contact Magister3?  I believe I've seen his name here in the forums before.

Yeah, I'd be interested in the older exports as well. With the Weight Class Wizard, I think it could be real interesting to set up an old-style NWA circuit with the different regions.

What exports are you looking for??

Mainly I was looking for a good group of exports featuring many of the old NWA stars in their prime. Wrestlers such as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A., Mr. Wrestling II, the Four Horsemen, etc.

The top tag teams as well like the Road Warriors, the Freebirds, the Von Erichs, the Midnight Express, and the Rock n Roll Express.

I like playing with the modern stars, but I grew up in the late '70s and '80s, so I have fond memories of watching those guys.

Most of those can be found on this page among the exports. But they may be under other names. Use obsessedwithwrestling.com as a reference. I did.

The problem is that a lot of the wrestlers are on the page with stats, moves, and so forth from the present day. You'd have to do a lot of tweaking to get yourself, say, a 1984 vintage Ric Flair  There's no export at all for Mr. Wrestling II (or, for that matter, Buddy Roberts). I also know that the one time we tried to start a list for vintage exports, it was dead within a few weeks, so most likely you'll have to do the work yourself. I'd help you if I had tapes...but I don't.
