Akio finisher

rey619Posted on 03/24/04 at 14:56:34

Does anyone knows what Akio's finisher is, or what it is called? He used to have a twisting moonsault called Yang Time, but it definetely needs a new name..

I'm pretty sure that's still his finisher.  The one time I saw him hit it, they just called it the Twisting Moonsault.  That'll have to do until they give it a silly name.

His finisher-like is probably some kind of jumping kick at this point, from my impression of the 3.2 seconds of airtime he's had in the last 6 months.

Yup, that's what I thought as well. It's really hard making exports of people WWE refuse to use. Maybe I'll try to get a hold of some Velocity tapes..

I watch Velocity, haven't seen him go for it yet. If I see/hear it I'll post it for you.

Well, judging from the number of matches he's won in WWE, his finisher just might have changed to the "Lay On Your Back and Stare at the Pretty Lights Until Your Opponent Falls Asleep."  Not exactly the most effective submission move in WWE.

I saw Akio/Tajiri vs London/Kidman the other day, think he tried to use his new finisher a couple of times. Didn't work though.  ;)

Not only does it rarely work, it's really easy for another wrestler to reverse it and pin Akio.  He should really look into another move...  I understand the Back Rake is still available...
