Question on updating...

RussellPosted on 08/06/06 at 04:57:03

Okay, the highest version of TNM7 that my registration codes are good for is the final version of the FE.

I desperately want to play with the newest and best incarnation of TNM7. Is there any way to update FE to Second Edition? Because my reg codes don't work with the second edition.

Cursed to have to buy again, or what? Am I just looking over something blatantly obvious?

Try installing TNM 7 SE over FE.  I *think* it should update that way.
RussellPosted on 08/06/06 at 08:07:56

Ah, that makes sense... I'll put in my reg code, register my version of FE, and so on and so on.

Thanks, Snabbit, it's appreciated.  :)

I tried your reccomendation, Snabbit... Annnnd....

Sadly I'm still without a registered version of TNM SE.  :(
Snabbit888Posted on 08/06/06 at 08:49:49

Hrm... I'm confused then.  I don't see why your codes wouldn't work with SE.
RussellPosted on 08/06/06 at 08:54:54

Well, Oliver flat out told me they wouldn't. I tried your suggestion, which seemed logical and like a good wordaround, but still, nothing.

Oh, Snabbit... Would you happen to have that old "master list "of wrestlers that used to come with TNM? The huge, comprehensive one? I really want it, these little export packs I'm findin just aren't doing it for me...
Snabbit888Posted on 08/06/06 at 08:59:32

I do not, and honestly, I'd suggest using smaller files.  A good place to go would be http://members.lycos.co.uk/tnmuk/ as you can get things in smaller packs.  Another plus is that even if you find the allwrest file, most of the wrestlers will be out of date.  Start there.
RussellPosted on 08/06/06 at 09:04:31

Affirmative.

I brought it up because a lot of wrestlers can only be found in that massive pack. I'm a huge fan of older wrestling and couldn't care less about most of the newer stuff... Why I opted for it.

Good news... I just browsed through all 17 pages of the Export forums and found one post with a link with the all wrestlers download. FTW!  ;D

Thanks again, Snabbit.

So... Anyone?  ???
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/07/06 at 04:15:28

TNM7FE has a different password than TNM7SE.  TNM7FE is still available for download.

Please read both of these posts.  They should explain your current dilemma.
RussellPosted on 08/07/06 at 05:00:31

I read both of those... And I guess I'm just going to have to buy it again then, eh?
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/08/06 at 01:19:15

if you want TNM7se, then yes.  But since you already have codes for TNM7fe, you can still get it from one of the links that I posted above.
