Card overview:

2 titles were decided & 3 new champions were crowned as Derek Frazier defeated his own tag team partner to become the 1st AFW Cruiserweight Champion.

Jesse & Festus out lasted 3 other teams to become the 1st AFW Tag Team Champions, but, unhappy with 2nd place, The American Wolves attacked the other-wise good natured country boys. The Wolves continued their assault until former multi-time tag team champions: The James Gang ran in for the save. It was then that AFW Commissioner: Jeffery Hixson stepped out from the back to tell all 6 men that their fight wasn't over yet. He then made a 3-way dance between The Wolves, The James Gang, & the new champs later in the show.

BG & Kip lived up to their reputation by defeating both teams & taking the gold once again.

The four men that move on in the tournament for the AFW Title are: Rob Conway, Josh Daniels, Patrick Brink, & Danny Doring.  Next month these 4 will face off in 2 semi-final matches with the winners moving on later that night to determine a champion.

Dolph Ziggler stepped up after his team was eliminated from the Tag Team Title match, by taking the place of Colt Cabana against Danny Doring. Cabana was not cleared by doctors to wrestle due to a high fever, but, hopes to make it up to the fans by appearing at a show somewhere down the road.

Special Thanks to Samoa Joe & Roderick Strong for reigniting their ROH rivalry for us for 1 night.

Card overview:

Rob Conway is the 1st AFW Heavyweight Champion! First getting past the experience of Danny Doring. Then Following it up by putting down the young powerhouse: Patrick Brink. What challenges will face the new champion in the coming months?

Speaking of Doring, he came into tonight's event vowing to wlak away wearing a title belt. But no one expected him to be 1/2 of the AFW Tag Team Champions (along with his young partner Johnny Curtis). Doring surprised everyone by becoming a last minute entry into the tag team gauntlet (rumor has he they attacked the man that he replaced).

AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels put on another classic match, leaving the fans no choice but to give them a standing ovation. That is until the new (and very cocky) AFW Tag Team Champions came out. The arrogant duo told the TNA stars that they were not impressed and could do better themselves. Styles then challenged the champs to a match, but, Doring turned down the former TNA Tag Team Champions.

Steve Corino made an appearance in the ring, but, he refused to wrestle anyone on the roster as he considered them beneath him. He told the fans that it would take a real talent to get him into the ring anytime soon.

Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) defeated Patrick Brink and The Bruiser when Devon pinned Brink after the 3D in 0:19:02.
Rating: 3/4*

Card rating: * 3/

Card overview:

The American Wolves challenged Jesse & Festus to a best of 3 gimmick match series & came out on top in the first match: a Tables Match. Down 1-0 it's going to take alot for the 2 country boys to come back. What will the next match be? We'll just have to wait & see.

Kid Kash & Phill Shatter debuted successfully against the impressive youngsters Scorpio Sky & Dolph Ziggler. Sky was so down over the loss that he has decided to leave AFW. We hope he will return someday.

Patrick Brink & The Bruiser have formed an alliance & AFW may be in trouble. Tyler Hilton & Caylen Croft should be thankful that Team 3D were able to stop the 2 powerhouses from doing any permanent damage.

Derek Frazier may be the most dominant man in the cruiserweight division in a long time. He defended the Cruiserweight Title successfully not once but twice against 2 very tough opponents.

Rob Conway took his first title defense very seriously as Josh Daniels almost was able to unseat the new champ. But with the help of some dirty tricks & outright cheating, Conway walked away with the title intact.

Team 3D came to AFW tonight looing for a fight, and they go one in Brink & The Bruiser. The 2 powerful brawlers took the fight straight to the 20+ time tag team champions. But experience was on the side of Brother Ray & Brother Devon when they hit Brink with the 3D through a table to pick up the pinfall & the win.

Steve Corino made another appearance tonight. He was scheduled to wrestle, but, he yet again refused to face his scheduled opponent, saying that he was too good to take on someone so talentless. AFW Commissioner Hixson brought out someone that Corino couldn't deny was up to his level: Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer came out to a roaring cheer, but Corino refused to face him since they didn't have a contract. Hixson fixed that problem, as he made a match for AFW's next show; putting Corino against Dreamer, as the crowd went nuts.

Card overview:

Caylen Croft brought in his long time friend: Trent Beretta to try & gain a measure of revenge against The Bruiser & Patrick Brink, but, the 2 larger men were too much for The Dudebusters to take.  Is there a team in the AFW that can stand up to these 2 powerhouses?

Ruckus brought his CZW Title to town with the intent on defending it against anyone that wanted a shot. He was surprised when his opponent was the same man he teamed with months ago: The Human Tornaado. The 2 put on a high flying exhibition that thrilled the fans with Ruckus walking out with his gold intact.

Jesse & Festus evened the score against The American Wolves in their gimmick match series by winning a hard fought Strap Match. Davey Richards will be out of action due to a hard shot from a chair swung by Festus. Hopefully he'll be back soon, as there is still 1 match left in the series.

AFW Commissioner: Jeffery Hixson made a huge announcement tonight, that next month AFW would sponser a tournament to honor the memory of the late Chris Candido. He explained that there would be qualifying matches & a huge final match that night. He also said that due to his championship victory at our first show, AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Derek Frazier was automatically entered & will receive a bye straight to the final.

Dolph Ziggler has had issues with Danny Doring since AFW opened its doors. Tonight, he brought in a special partner to challenge Doring & Johnny Curtis for the AFW Tag Team Title. No one imagined that his partner would be former WWE/WCW superstar: Sean "X-Pac" Waltman. Waltman's championship experience gave his team the edge and allowed them to pick up the victory & take the gold.

MMA standout Bobby Lashley brought his own unique style to AFW tonight to take on former multi-time World Champion: Booker T. But even with all his talents, Booker was unable to stop the undefeated MMA powerhouse.

Chris Sabin dethroned dominant AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Derek Frazier in convincing fashion. Hitting the Cradle Shock & pinning the arrogant champion in the center of the ring. Frazier will still receive his bye in next month's tournament, but, just how will dropping the championship effect his performance?

Hardcore Holly rode into town with the hopes of becoming AFW Champion, and nearly accomplished his goal. It took every dirty trick that reigning champ Rob Conway knew to walk away with the belt.

Tommy Dreamer came out for what was supposed to be his match with Steve Corino. He then informed tthe crowd that Corino was stuck in Puerto Rico due to the weather & was unable to be there. He then said that he thought Corino was just making it up when he looked at the forecast for the island & saw it said sunny & warm. Dreamer told the crowd that Corino wouldn't get of fthe hook that easy as Commissioner Hixson has postponed the match they were supposed to have tonight until next month's show. Not only that, but it will be a no dq, no countout, Extreme Street Fight.

Card overview:

The show opened up with Luke Hawx coming out to challenge Derek Frazier for his spot in tonight's final match. But, before Frazier could answer, Evan Bourne came to the ring with similar intentions. The 2 men argued about who was better until Frazier came to the ring. The former Cruiserweight Champion told both men that he had a better way to settle their argument, by facing them both in a triple threat match. Frazier put his spot in the final on the line saying that who ever won deserved it the most, then retained his right to compete by pinning Bourne.

Elix Skipper made a rare appearance tonight by taking on one half of The American Wolves: Eddie Edwards in another 1st round match for the Candido Cup. Edwards competed in a rare singles match since his partner, Davey Richards, was still recovering from a concussion he suffered last month.

New AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Chris Sabin went into the 1st round in a non-title match against one of his toughest opponents: his own tag team partner Alex Shelley. The 2 put on a clinic of high flying action & shook hands after Sabin was able to score the victory & move on to the final.

Ruckus was able to turn back the challenge of Petey Williams, after he escaped an attempt at the Canadian Destroyer & hit the Hate Crime.

Tommy Dreamer as finally able to get his hands on Steve Corino tonight. But, it as Corino that survived the encounter with a win. Dreamer & Corino battled all around the arena and ended up in the ring, where after a well timed chair shot, Corino was able to hit the Old School Expulsion.

It was an odd way to defend the AFW Heavyweight & Tag Team Titles and it was called "Ultimate Jeopardy". If one of the men on the team of champions lost, the man that defeated him would take his title. Before the match, however, AFW Heavyweight Champion: Rob Conway boasted that it didn't matter who was on the other team & that no man in the entire building could take the title from him. So, when tag champ Sean Waltman pinned Pat Brink, Conay thought his title was safe. But, Steve Corino was quick to sneak back into the ring & call the champion on his boast by attacking him from behind & forcing the referee to make the count to become the new AFW Heavyweight Champion.

AFW Commissioner Jeffery Hixson was unhappy from the result of the last match, but, was determined not to let it spoil the night. Up next was the main event to crown the winner of the Chris Candido Memorial Cup. The 6 men that qualified earlier in the night would all come together in a 6 man elimination match that would not only before the cup, but, since Chris Sabin was able to get into the final, would also be for the AFW Cruiserweight Title. To add to the drama & prestige of winning the cup, tonight it would be presented by one of the men that knew Candido the best; his former ECW Tag Team Championship partner Lance Storm. Storm said it was his privilege to present the winner with the trophy & he was happy that so many came out to watch the action that would have made Chris so proud. Sabin had all the incentive to win & he eliminated half the field by himself. But, it would be Ruckus that would walk out of the ring as champion to a standing ovation from not only the fans in attendance, but, all of the locker room as well.

Card Overview:

The Bruiser was without his normal tag team partner Patrick Brink tonight when he took on Dolph Ziggler. Knowing he was alone, Caylen Croft came looking for revenge against one of the men the assaulted him afew months ago. As the 2 young stars attacked the larger man, Lance Storm, who was backstage visiting friends, ran out to end it. Storm then challenged the 2 upstarts to an impromtu tag match. It would be Storm showing that he hasn't lost a step as he made Ziggler tap out to the Canadian Maple Leaf for the win.

Josh Daniels earned a hard fought victory to become the 1st AFW Rush TV Champion. Daniels used everything in his arsenal to walk out with the title. But just what challenges lie ahead?

Ruckus out his newly won AFW Cruiserweight Title on the line in an open challenge that was answered by indy sensation Niles Young. Young put up a valiant effort, but, the 2009 Chris Candido Cup winner/ Cruiserweight Champ was too much for him & scored the pinfall to retain his title.

Jesse & Festus won the gimmick match challenge against The American Wolves by out lasting them in a devastating Stretcher Match. The match didn't just end the rivalry, but, the war between the 2 teams as well as now The Wolves must leave AFW. What is next for the 2 country boys? Could a 2nd reign as AFW Tag Team Champions be in their future?

Christian brought his ECW Title into town to defend it against top challenger "The All American-American" Jack Swagger. Swagger put the champ to the test, but, Christian wrestled like the cahmpion he is & walked away with his belt intact.

Then it was on to the main event. Tommy Dreamer & Steve Corino didn't settle enough of their differences last month, especially when Corino "stole" the AFW Title. Last time Corino squeaked out a win in a Street Fight, but, this time Dreamer was looking to go back to the extreme in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the AFW Title. Corino, ever the master of underhanded tricks, used everything he could get his hands on to stop "The Innovator of Violence" and hold onto his gold. Both men walked out bloodied from all the weapons they used on each other, but, it was Corino who once again came out on top much to Dreamer & the fans' dismay.

Quick notes:

Patrick Brink & The Bruiser used their distinct power advantage to dominate the reigning AFW Tag Team Champions: Dolph Ziggler & Sean Waltman and walk out tonight with the gold. Is there a team in AFW that can stop them?

Caylen Croft, Trent Beretta, & Kid Kash spent some time in the ring running down the fans, until Jesse & Festus chased them from the ring. Kash warned the 2 country boys that they were out numbered, but, Jesse informed theri would-be attackers that there as one man backstage that would be happy to join the fight. That's when the music of former WWE Intercontinental & Tag Team Champion: Marty Jannetty played & the former Rocker ran out to the ring to the cheers of the fans. Jannetty showed he can still perform with the younger guys as he picked up the win over the loud mouth Kash.

AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Ruckus took on someone out of his normal weight class & showed all the skill that won him the Cruiserweight Title & Chris Candido Memorial Cup. Ruckus put down the much larger Drew McIntyre, and as he caught his breath in the ring, former AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Chris Sabin stepped out & challenged the champion to defend the title next month against him one on one.

Josh Daniels defended his newly won Rush TV Title against Johnny Curtis. Curtis' former AFW Tag Team Championship partner: Danny Doring tried to help his friend win more gold, but, in the end it was what caused his disqualification when Doring got caught putting Curtis' foot on the ropes to break a pinfall. Curtis accepted Doring's apology & the 2 shook hands & left together.

Luke Hawx returned to AFW after a not so stellar showing at the Candido Cup. But, this time he wasn't alone. Hawx brought Jethro Holiday & Paul Burchill (who's sister Katie Lea appeared earlier in the night in a losing effort to Brie Bella). The trio explained to an unsympathetic crowd that they felt overlooked & treated unfairly. Tommy Dreamer stepped out from the back & told them that if they  came to AFW looking for a fight, they were welcome to it. BUt much like Hawx, Dreamer wasn't alone either. Dreamer then brought out 2 of his good friends: R-Truth & Matt Hardy. The 3 fan favorites took the fight straight to the 3 upstarts and Hardy scored the win for his team over Holiday with his patented Twist of Fate.

AFW Champion: Steve Corino was forced by Commissioner Hixson to defend the belt against the man he "stole" it from at the Candido Cup; now former Champion: Rob Conway. Conway went as far as to say that if he couldn't regain the title he would leave AFW never to return again. This added incentive seemed to fuel Corino as he dominated the former champ & pinned him cleanly to retain the gold & send Conway out of AFW for good. This is the second time that Conway's boasts have backfired against Corino. The first being at the Candido Cup when Corino used Conway's boast to capture the AFW Title.

TNA standout, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles returned to AFW tonight to take on a man who he considers one of the best young talents in wrestling today: former Cruiserweight Champion: "Pure Impact" Derek Frazier. Frazier & Styles put on a thrilling, yet short, match that saw both men flying high & chain wrestling to see just who the best is. In the end, it was Frazier that picked up the win over the former NWA World, NWA Tag Team, NWA X Division, TNA Tag Team, TNA X Division, & TNA Legend's Champion. After the match as the fans praised both men for their efforts, the 2 shook hands & Styles touted Frazier as the future of the sport.

Quick notes:

The Dudebusters added 2 members to their ranks tonight when Alex Riley & his girlfriend Beverly joined forces ith the outspoken duo. The three then made short work of Primo, Shark Boy, & Yoshi Tatsu. It may not take long for this group to be a force in AFW.

Jesse & Festus continue their roll since sending the American Wolves from AFW. The country boys took down Antonio Thomas & Romer Roselli in under 5 minutes. You would have to think a title shot is in their future.

Chris Sabin regained the AFW Cruiserweight Championship from the man that won the Candido Cup: Ruckus. Sabin explained when he challenged Ruckus last month, it was because he felt that he was treated unfairly by having to defend the title in the 6 man main event in May. Sabin & Ruckus electrified the crowd by trading high flying moves. It was a missed dropkick the gave Sabin the final advantage & allowed him to hit the Cradle Shock to recapture the gold.

Pat Brink & The Bruiser continued the dominance of the tag team division by pummeling Kid Kash & Phill Shatter to retain the tag team title. The end of the match saw Kash getting tossed all over the ringside area by The Bruiser until he was unable to return to the ring before the referee counted to 10.

This month, without his partner being around, Johnny Curtis pinned Josh Daniels to capture the Rush TV Title. Daniels showed great sportsmanship after the match by shaking Curtis' hand & congradulating the new champ.

Steve Corino brought back Luke Hawx for one more match in AFW. Last time Luke was in an AFW ring, he ran afoul of Tommy Dreamer and his friends. This time Corino explained that Luke was there to help him in his battles with Dreamer one more time. Dreamer came out on the runway & told both men that they would have their wish in the form of a tag team Street Fight. Corino laughed at Dreamer's response & demanded to know just who was "dumb enough" to team up against the AFW Champion & his new friend. That's when Lance Storm's music played and as the crowd cheered, the former ECW Tag Team, WWE Tag Team WCW United States & WWE Intercontinental Champion (just to name afew) stepped out. Not only did he team up with fellow ECW-alumni Dreamer, but, he forced the AFW Champion to submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf. The crowd erupted at the result of the match & you would think that this puts Storm right in line for a shot at the title, but, only time will tell.

Samoa Joe & Christopher Daniels both returned to AFW tonight & brought with them their rivalry from TNA. "The Fallen Angel" took the fight straight to his larger opponent & in the end would score a stunning pinfall victory on the "Samoan Submission Machine" that some in the crowd were disheartened by.

Quick notes:

The Ghetto Mafia opened the show by calling out AFW Commissioner Jeffery Hixson. Their call was answered, but, not in the way they wanted. Tommy Dreamer came out instead to confront the hardcore thugs. Dreamer told 2 Dope that since Hixson wasn't in the building, it would be Dreamer himself in charge for the night. 2 Dope then asked Dreamer why he & Qeenan Creed were left off tonight's show. Before it could go any further, AFW Champion: Steve Corino came out to add to the chaos. He told Dreamer to stop pretending & come clean. Corino then let it out that it wasn't Hixson that was truly in charge of AFW, it was the real owner of the company: Tommy Dreamer! Corino then asked Dreamer why the AFW Champion was left off the show just like The Ghetto Mafia. Dreamer told Corino, 2 Dope, & Creed that since they were so interested in having a match that later in the night they would face Dreamer & 2 of his best friends: Team 3D!

Lance Storm went from making the AFW Champion submit last month to making Juventud Guerrera submit in the opening match this month. Ho long until Storm gets a shot at the title is anybody's guess.

Dolph Ziggler is a former AFW Tag Team Champion & after his win tonight, he has announced hisintentions on wearing indivisual gold in the near future. Ziggler challenged AFW Rush TV Champion: Johnny Curtis for next month. Curtis wasn't in attendance for tonight's show, but, officials backstage said that the match will happen.

Caylen Croft, Trent Beretta, & Alex Riley once again took down Shark Boy & 2 partners visiting AFW looking for a chance to make names for themselves. This group may just have gold in their futures.

Melina & Jillian Hall returned but this time Maryse showed up & got into the mix. Melina again walked out with the win, but, it was what happened after the match that was even more interesting. Jillian was so upset that Maryse lost the fall that the wanna-be pop star attacked the beautiful French-Canadian.

Alex Shelley is now the #1 Contender to the AFW Cruiserweight Title and it looks like that makes current champion (and Shelley's tag team partner) Chris Sabin a little worried. Sabin came out to try & help his friend gain a victory & instead almost cost him the match when Derek Frazier ducked a chair shot aimed at his head. The chair then struck Shelley & allowed Frazier to gain a near fall. Shelley recovered & later hit the Sliced Bread for the win. Sabin later in the night retained his gold against Jigsaw. Now, next month The Motor City Machine Guns will face off one on one for the AFW Cruiserweight Title.

Festus had a rare single's match against Jethro Holiday and found success just like he has in the tag team division. The big man is impressing many & may find himself in the hunt for a title sooner or later.

AFW Tag Team Champions: Patrick Brink & The Bruiser again successfully defended their tag team belts proving that they may well be unstoppable. Their match with The Heart Throbs may not have been pretty, but, the the champs say they don't get paid by the hour. They are there to beat people up & hold on to the tag bets & they do that job very well.

Our next show will be on October 17th & the following matches have already been signed.

AFW Cruiserweight Championship:
Chris Sabin (c) vs Alex Shelley

Jillian Hall vs Maryse with special referee: Melina

AFW Rush TV Championship:
Johnny Curtis (c) vs Dolph Ziggler

Quick notes:

Last month,it was revealed by AFW Champion Steve Corino that Tommy Dreamer was the actual owner of AFW. Dreamer was not available for tonight's show due to an illness so Corino thought he would have a free pass to cause whatever kind of chaos he could muster. Little did he know that Dreamer's friend Lance Storm showed up, backed by Team 3D. Storm told Corino that he made him tap out 2 months ago & he deserved a shot at the title tonight. Corino told Storm that he will never get a chance in the ring against him for the title because he's a washed up has-been. Brother Ray told Corino that he & Devon didn't get enough of the champion or The Ghetto Mafia last month so they challenged them to a match against Team 3D & Storm. Corino was reluctant, but, 2 Dope & Qeenan Creed rushed the ring & accepted quickly.

Johnny Curtis returned to action tonight & turned back the challenge of former AFW Tag Champ Dolph Ziggler to retain the AFW Rush TV Title. Curtis has an iron grip on the title & shows no signs on letting go anytime soon.

Speaking of not letting go of the gold, Patrick Brink & The Bruiser took on 3 of AFW's top teams tonight & walked out still the champions. There really doesn't seem to be a team that can stop these 2.

Jillian Hall & Maryse returned tonight to settle their differences from last month. And to make things fair, Melina (the woman that defeated both of them last month) returned as well to be the special referee. Jillian may not be able to sing, but, she showed that she can wrestle as she pinned the former WWE Diva's Champion.

Tonight was the battle of The Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley won the right to compete against his tag team partner for the gold last month. Chris Sabin wasn't thrilled about facing his best friend, but, both men put on a great show for everyone in attendance. Shelley was able to pin Sabin with the Sliced Bread & capture the title. After the match, Sabin displayed a rare moment of sportsmanship in wrestling when he handed the title to Shelley, shook his hand, & helped his friend celebrate in the ring.

Just before the main event it was announced that next month there will be a match to crown a #1 contender to the AFW Heavyweight Title in a Royal Rumble style match. Just how many participants & who they will be is unclear at this time, but, details should be released soon.

Quick notes:

Once again Patrick Brink & The Bruiser dominated in their title defense against The Heart Throbs. After the match ended, Kid Kash & Phill Shatter challenged the champs to defend the gold against them next month. The Bruiser quickly accepted & told their upcoming opponents that they would be getting the beating of a lifetime.

AFW Champion Steve Corino told Lance Storm that he would never get a shot at the AFW Title, but, thanks to Storm's great stamina & will to win, he will face off against Corino next month & the gold will be on the line. Storm literally outlasted 28 other men, when he drew #1 in tonight's Rumble match. No one gave Storm a chance to win when they saw him step through the curtain first, but, after eliminating 9 men (including 1/2 of the AFW Tag Champs: The Bruiser) Storm proved he deserves to be in the main event.

Quick notes:

As AFW Commissioner Jeffery Hixson was welcoming the crowd to the show, DJ Hyde came to the ring & demanded to know why he was left off the show. Hyde told Hixson that he wasn't going to leave the ring until he was given a match. Hixson told Hyde that the card was set, but, if he really wanted to compete, there was someone in the back that arrived late & was promised a spot. Hixson then brought out a masked man from "Candyland": The Sugarmask. Sugarmask made short work of Hyde & pulled off his mask to reveal his identity as former AFW Tag Team Champion Danny Doring. Doring thanked the fans for their warm welcome back & let everyone know that his goal is to become AFW Champion very soon.

Scorpio Sky made his AFW debut with a shot at the Rush TV Title. Reigning champ Johnny Curtis was too much for the young high flyer in their first meeting. Did Scorpio's efforts impress the officials enough for another shot? ONly time will tell.

Just a few short months ago, The American Wolves weren't even supposed to be on the AFW roster anymore. Now they're the #1 contenders to the tag team title. Their celebration didn't last long as later that night after beating Jesse & Festus, The Ghetto Mafia challenged Richards & Edwards to put their title shot on the line next month.

Melina returned for one more visit to AFW, this time someone tried to spoil it. Juventud Guerrera wouldn't stop hitting on the lovely diva. When she wouldn't return his advances, he resorted to getting physical with her. This brought out Melina's real life boyfriend; John Morrison ran to the ring to save her. Morrison & Guerrera electrified the crowd and stole the show with high flying offense. Morrison hit Starship Pain to pick up the win & after the match Melina re-entered the ring & hit Guerrera with the Guillotine Legdrop, then celebrated with Morrison as the crowd cheered.

Alex Shelley held onto his belt tonight against Ruckus, but, Derek Frazier was unhappy about being left out of the title picture since he defeated Ruckus last month. After attacking both men during & after the match, Frazier then challenged both to face him next month in a triple threat match for the title. Shelley & Ruckus both agreed & this Cruiserweight Title showdown was signed immediately.

Kid Kash & Phill Shatter are the new AFW Tag Team Champions, and all it took was alittle miscommunication on the part of the now former champs. After the match, as Kash & Shatter basked in the boos of the crowd on their way to the locker room, Brink & The Bruiser argued in the ring. Brink walked off as Bruiser stood in the ring fuming.

Steve Corino turned back the challenge of Lance Storm, but, he did it with alittle help from an unexpected ally: The Bruiser. After the match ended, The Bruiser & Corino stood over Storm & gloated. This brought out Bruiser's partner Patrick Brink. Brink questioned his friend about his actions, Bruiser turned his back on Brink. Brink then went to check on Storm, & as he bent down, Bruiser dropped him with a chairshot across the back. Corino & The Bruiser then shook hands & left together as the crowd booed & Brink & Storm lay in the ring surrounded by officials.

Already Signed for next month:

Quick notes:

AFW Champion: Steve Corino opened the show with what he called a huge surprise for AFW owner: Tommy Dreamer. Corino informed the crowd that it wasn't all Dreamer's money that purchased AFW. Dreamer had a partner, who up until tonight remained silent. Corino then brought out Dreamer's business partner: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. Douglas told the crowd that tonight was only the beginning of a new era in AFW. He explained that it was his money that held all creative control in AFW & he would use it & abuse it as he saw fit.

The American Wolves didn't last long as the #1 contenders to the tag team title. 2 Dope & Qeenan Creed will now get their shot at the champions next month.

Trent Beretta has inexplicably left AFW and Greg Excellent has apparently taken his place along side of Alex Riley & Caylen Croft. And with this addition, they may be more impactful than ever. Their impact was felt again when just after their tag team victory, Caylen Croft won the Rush TV Title from Johnny Curtis.

Danny Doring is now next in line for a shot at the AFW Title. By pinning The Calgary Kid (Lance Storm's new alter ego). The fans were confused by Storm's sudden change in look & attitude. They let it be known by booing Storm throughout the match. Storm offered no explanation at any time during the night, but, we will try to find out as much as possible.

Kid Kash & Phill Shatter put their tag team gold up against their so-called friends; The Heart Throbs. Kash & Shatter figured that it would be a walk in the park & expected The Heart Throbs to lay down for them, but, Romeo & Antonio made it clear that they wanted to put friendships aside & actually compete. As the match started to go the challengers' way, Kash & Shatter decided to protect their reign as champions by bailing from the ring & walking out for the countout. The question is will such tactics work next month when they take on The Ghetto Mafia?

In the Triple Threat match for the Cruiserweight Title, Derek Frazier & Alex Shelley united their efforts to try & take out Ruckus. Ruckus grew tired of it & called the match off. But, since they were already in the ring, Ruckus told Frazier & the Cruiserweight Champion that he had brought backup to the show. He then brought out his longtime tag partner Sabian. The reunited BLKOUT team them bested the inexperienced duo & thrust themselves into the growing tag team scene in AFW. After the match, Frazier & Shelley argued, then Frazier challenged Shelley to a match next month for the Cruiserweight Title.

The original main event match that was scheduled was to be The Bruiser & Steve Corino taking on Tommy Dreamer & TNA's monster Abyss, but, Dreamer couldn't get cleared by the athletic commission. Danny Doring, who just became #1 contender to Corino's AFW Title, stepped up to replace Dreamer & team with Abyss. Even though he lost the fall, Bruiser wasn't done with Abyss. The former AFW Tag Team Champion attacked Abyss from behind as the referee raised his hand. Officials ran out immediately to separate the 2 goliaths & pulled them apart. Dreamer then stepped out from the back & told Bruiser & Abyss that since they didn't settle anything tonight, they would get their chance next month to go at it one on one.

Quick notes:

BLKOUT made a huge debut last month & kept their streak alive by defeating JTG & Shad of Cryme Tyme (visiting for one night from rival promotion RPW). Ruckus & Sabian have been tag champs where ever they go, is AFW gold in their future?

Caylen Croft's reign as Rush TV Champion was cut short as high-flying happy go lucky country boy Jesse upset Croft to take away the title. Croft has already lobbied for a rematch as soon as it can happen.

Alex Riley took Greg Excellent's place in his match against Festus & with Excellent's help, managed to put the big man down. The trio has had issue with Festus & Jesse since October and with these last 2 matches it shows no sign of letting up.

The Ghetto Mafia let their tempers get the better of them against AFW Tag Team Champions Kid Kash & Phill Shatter. Now the duo from the streets may not get a rematch as the champs are set to move on to their next challenge.

Lance Storm continued his masquerade as The Canadian Kid & it shows no sign of stopping as he has formed a new team with Juventud Guerrera: The Mexi-Can Connection. Storm has remained silent, opting for Guerrera to do all the talking. Unfortunately, the new team's debut wasn't a victorious one. The Kid (Storm) left the ring with his head down as the crowd booed.

DJ Hyde finally has been granted a contract to be a fixture in AFW, but, The Disco Machine made sure his celebration didn't last. The dancing masked man pinned Hyde, who then threw a fit on the ring.

Derek Frazier regained the AFW Cruiserweight Title, but, not without some controversy. Alex Shelley complained that the referee made a fast count and demanded that Frazier come back & restart the match. Frazier refused saying he was the better man & now he has the gold to prove it. Shelley, like Caylen Croft, has petitioned for a rematch to happen as soon as possible.

Co-owner of AFW: Shane Douglas brought in another friend to help him maintain Creative Control of the company in Simon Diamond. Douglas called out his business partner Tommy Dreamer & told him that Diamond would except a match against any man that Dreamer could send out. Dreamer came out & welcomed the challenge. He told Douglas that he had just the man in mind. A man that lives his life by his rules: Jeff Hardy! Hardy came out to a roaring cheer. As Hardy got in the ring, Diamond bounced off the ropes & suddenly twisted his knee. Douglas said his man was in no shape to compete, but, he would have a replacement in no time. That's when Sim Snuka ran out from the back & attacked Hardy. Hardy rebounded & picked up the win.

Steve Corino, with alittle help from Shane Douglas, turned back the challenge of Danny Doring. Corino, Douglas, & Simon Diamond (now miraculously healed) all celebrated in the ring, until Dreamer came back out. Dreamer congratulated Corino on his win, but, told him he already had his next opponent in line. Dreamer then announced that next month Corino would defend the AFW Title against Jeff Hardy as the crowd erupted.

As The Bruiser prepared to lock up with Abyss in the main event, Tommy Dreamer once again made a last minute change to their match. Dreamer explained that the brutality that these 2 men had the potential to unleash could not be handled by a normal referee, therefore, he had assigned a special referee for one night & only for this match. He was to be a man that knew Bruiser very well, in the form of his former tag team partner Patrick Brink! Brink called the match fairly, until near the end when Bruiser got in his face & pushed Brink down. Brink then got up, hit his former partner with some stiff punches, then whipped him into the ropes. As Bruiser rebounded, Abyss stepped up & hit the Black Hole Slam. Brink dropped down, made the 3 count, and helped Abyss celebrate to the cheers of the crowd.

QUICK NOTES:

BLKOUT are the new AFW Tag Team Champions, but, their victory wasn't without controversy as The Heart Throbs turned on Kid Kash & Phill Shatter setting up for Ruckus to hit the Hate Crime and score the pin. After the match, Kash & Shatter confronted the dancing duo backstage & asked them about their actions. Antonio Thomas spoke on behalf of himself & his partner, telling the now former champs that they were tired of doing all the work for Kash & Shatter and getting none of the accolades. Kash reminded them that he held their contracts so they work for him no matter what they think. Romeo Roselli them spoke up & challenged Kash to match next month in which if The Heart Throbs in, they will be released from the contracts that Kash holds.

Caylon Croft, Alex Riley & Greg Excellent wanted revenge on Jesse & Festus for Jesse taking the Rush Television Title from Croft last month & challenged the 2 country boys to a handicap match. Jesse let them know that there was no way they would face them in such a match, but, he & Festus did bring a friend from back home to help them in a 6 man tag match. Out stepped Jamie Noble to even the odds. Noble caught Greg Excellent in his Cross Armbar to make his much bigger opponent tap out.

Shane Douglas used his "creative control" to get his friend Simon Diamond a match against any man that Tommy Dreamer could find. Deamer brought out a man that no one expected "The War Machine" Rhino! Seeing Rhino come down the isle, Diamond readied himself by bouncing off the ropes, only to "reinjure" himself. Douglas would not let friend compete in such condition, so he told Dreamer that he already had a replacement in mind: The Bruiser. The 2 bohemeths brawled around ringside, before Simon Diamond made a miraculous recovery & attacked Rhino with a chair. Rhino took a hard shot to the back of the neck, but, still managed to hit the Gore for the win.

The American Wolves keep looking better & better. However, the same can't be said for former AFW Tag Team Champions: Danny Doring & Johnny Curtis. After the match, Doring & Curtis got into a heated exchange in which Curtis walked away from his partner & headed back to the locker room.

Former AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Alex Shelley returned for what he hoped to be a rematch for the title he lost to Derek Frazier last month. Unfortunately, Frazier was not in attendence to compete. Shelley demanded to face someone in a match & refused to leave the ring until his challenge was met. He even went as far as to take a chair from the time keeper's table & sit down in the center of the ring until someone came out to make him go. Suddenly, his call was answered by Mr. Kennedy, who when the fans heard his music, as met with a roaring cheer. Kennedy announced after the match that he was here in AFW to stay & he was setting his sights on becoming AFW Champion as soon as possible.

Steve Corino & Shane Douglas informed the crowd that the scheduled AFW Title defense against Jeff Hardy would not be taking place, since Hardy was not cleared to wrestle by the Maryland State Athletic Commission. Therefore, Corino was the winner of the match by default. This brought back out Tommy Dreamer & he had an idea on how to make it up to the fans. He proposed that Corino, The Bruiser, & the surprisingly healthy Simon Diamond should face Patrick Brink, Rhino (who was still hurting from earlier) & Mr. Kennedy. Douglas refused on the behalf of his men, but, Dreamer goaded them into the match by calling them cowards. This drove Corino & The Bruiser crazy & they demanded to face the trio of fan favorites. Dreamer's plan worked perfectly as Kennedy scored the winning fall on The Bruiser to end the night.

Quick notes:

Shane Douglas opened the show standing along side of AFW Champion: Steve Corino & The Bruiser. Douglas informed the crowd that he was not the only one that helped Tommy Dreamer finance AFW. He explained that Tommy sacrificed alot to get the promotion of the ground; including his family. He negelcted his kids & his wife Theresa (formerly known as Beulah McGuilicuty) & forced her into the arms of another man. Not a minute later, in walks Beulah arm in arm with Trent Beretta through the front door. They both walked through the crowd, hopped the barrier, & climbed into the ring. As soon as Dreamer saw his wife along side another man (& siding with Douglas) he lost control. But, instead of charging the ring, he gathered his things & walked out of the building. Some of the officials tried to stop him, but, Dreamer was too distraught & had to leave.

Juventud Guerrera started cutting an in ring promo on the current tag team scene in AFW. He insulted every team on the roster, but, when he got to the Ghetto Mafia, 2 Dope & Creed would not let his words go unanswered. Juvi kept insulting them as his partner The Calgary Kid stood behind him. Finally, 2 Dope & Creed had heard enough & attacked Guerrera, leaving The Calgary Kid no choice but to back his partner up. Juvi took a pounding in the match & opted to walkout to save himself. As he Ghetto afia celebrated, The Kid & his partner had a few words about the outcome as the headed to the back.

Shane Douglas lead his goup, dubbed "Creative Control", back out to the ring & this time they were joined by current AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Derek Frazier. Douglas explained that Frazier would be an honorary member of Creative Control for the night. All he would have to do is face the man that replaced him in a match last month, Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy was eager to answer the challenge & took the fight to the Cruiserweight Champion. But, when Kennedy pinned Frazier in the middle of the ring, Shane D6uglas came out saying that the referee's count was fast & he demanded that the match be restarted, & as soon as the bell sounded to, Frazier hit Kenedy with the title belt & scored a near fall. It wouldn't be until Douglas interfered that Kennedy would go down to his smaller opponent.

The Heart Throbs tried to earn their freedom from Kid Kash & Phill Shatter, but, the former tag team champions proved to be too much for them & Roselli & Thomas are stuck in their servitude.

Danny Doring did his best to try  end the riegn of Steve Corino as AFW Champion, but, thanks again to outside interference, his dreams of wearing gold again in AFW were unfulfilled. Fellow ECW alumni Simon Diamond made sure that Corino's title remained intact. With Corino's reign nearing a full year next month, can anyone stop the AFW Champion?

Caylen Croft regained the Rush TV Title from Jesse without any help from Alex Riley & Greg Excellent. Jesse, who was without his partner Festus, was simply out classed in what ended up being his last title defense.

After Danny Doring came up short in his bid for the AFW Title, all of Creative Control jumped into the ring & beat down the former tag champ. The assault continued until Team 3D & Patrick Brink ran down for the save. Brother Ray grabbed the microphone & told Douglas & crew that they weren't afraid of them & that even though Dreamer had left, they were there to kick the crap out of Creative Cotrol on behalf of their friend. The fans went home happy as Patrick Brink pinned Creative Control's leader Douglas to end the night.

Quick notes:

The show opened with a battle between former TNA X Division & Tag Team Champions. "The Fallen Angel" defeated "Black Machismo" in a match the had fans on the edge of their seats. Daniels cae out on top to be the first man to join last year's Cup Champion: Ruckus in the finals.

Cruiserweight Champion: Derek Frazier was attempting to make his 2nd appearance in the finals in consecutive years. Standing in his way would be Josh Daniels, a former AFW Rush TV Champion. It was lucky for Frazier that his Cruiserweight Title was not on te line as Daniels made his tap out to the Crossface to advance to the main event.

The Calgary Kid & Juventud Guerrera came out for the next match & The Kid finally unmasked, showing the crowd on hand what they already knew, that he was Lance Storm. Storm then took the microphone & explained that while he may be known as his current masked identity, tonight to honor his friend he would compete as himself. He also told Juvi to leave the ringside area . Guerrera didn't listen & ended up costing his partner the match & the chance to further honor his friend. Upon hearing the referee's decision, Storm shoved his current partner away & left the ring alone.

Justin Angel & Sonjay Dutt rounded out the qualifying round to complete the field for the main event.

Tommy Dreamer vowed to end Steve Corino's reign as AFW Champion, which was on it's 364th day. Corino & Creative Control were positive that they would be celebrating a full year as champion. Dreamer was sure he had just the rightman lined up when he brought out Mr. Kennedy, but, before he could get to the ring, The Bruiser, Simon Diamond & Shane Douglas attacked Kennedy. The trainers helped Kennedy to the back, but, Dreamer had a backup plan in the man the came within inches of becoming champion last month: Danny Doring. This time, it would be Doring's own tag team partner Johnny Curtis that would be the one to cost Doring the gold yet again.

Tommy Dreamer emerged from the back again as Creative Control celebrated in the ring. He reminded tem of his vow to get the belt off Corino & just then Mr. Kennedy returned to the ring for the match that he was nearly denied just about 15 minutes prior. This time, Corino could not find a way to escape with the title intact. When the bell sounded, Kennedy not only grabbed the title, but, the ring announcer's microphone to declare himself as the new AFW Champion as the crowd erupted.

The rivalry between The Bruiser & Patrick Brink finally came to a head as the former Tag Team Champions faced off 1 on 1 in a battle that raged all over the arena. The more experienced Bruiser proved to be too much for Brink when he locked on the Bruisemission & forced the young powerhouse to tap.

A battle royal was held to determine new #1 contenders to BLKOUT's AFW Tag Team Title, but, at the last minute Shane Douglas invoked his creative control to include himself & Simon Diamond. In what would normally be an unpredictible situation, something even more unexpected happened when Douglas & Diamond actually won. The duo will now go on to face Ruckus & Sabian next month for the gold.

SPeaking of Ruckus, the defending Candido Cup Champion almost made it 2 in a row as it got down to just himself & Josh Daniels. Daniels & Ruckus battled hard as the locker room made their traditional way to the ring to witness it all first hand. Daniels forced the defending champ to tap out & capture the cup. Tommy Dreamer presented Daniels with the trophy as the crowd cheered & applauded the winner & the memory of Chris Candido.

X-TREME MEASURES
JUNE 19, 2010

Ring Announcer Larry Philips finishes his pre-show annoucenments just as Steve Corino's music plays. The former AFW Champion comes to the ring accompanied by Simon Diamond, Trent Beretta, Beulah & The Bruiser. Corino explains that neither Tommy Dreamer nor Shane Douglas are there tonight so he will be using Creative Control's power to make afew changes to tonight's show. First off, tonight's AFW Tag Team Title match has been changed. BLKOUT will defend their titles against Juventud Guerrera & The Calgary Kid. Plus new #1 contenders to the tag belts would be named when The Ghetto Mafia face former champs: Kid Kash & Phill Shatter. He then moved on to what he called "other business". He first wanted to talk about new AFW Champion: Mr. Kennedy. Corino talks about it was unfair for him to have to wrestle 2 matches in a row. So to make up for that, Kennedy will have to defend his ill gotten title against the newest member of Creative Control: Johnny Curtis. Curtis' music plays & he joins Creative Control in the ring. Corino continues on and then tells the crowd on hand that he wants revenge against the 2 men who he says helped to end his title reign last month: Danny Doring & Patrick Brink. So since Douglas can't be here, he & Simon Diamond will take on the to crowd favorites. And as for The Bruiser, he has givin him an opponent that he will decimate to show he is still the biggest monster in AFW. He tells the crowd that tonight, Creative Control gets revenge on this company for the outrageous happenings from last month.

He tells him that even though he didn't do very well last month, it was Guerrera  that brokered the deal to get them a shot at the tag team title tonight. The Calgary Kid took offense to the remarks & quickly snatched the microphone away. He went off telling Juvi that if he would have listened, he would have gone on in the tournament, but instead, Guerrera had to interfere & get him dq'd. And as for tonight's title match, The Kid told Guerrera to stay out of his way so that he could bring the gold home for his team.

Frazier says that he he was embarrassed last month when he was defeated, and it was because he let his ego get out of control. But the Cruiserweight Title belt says he is the best & he has nothing to prove to anyone, especially Daniels. The crowd starts to boo & Daniels says that its okay if Frazier was scared to get back in the ring with him, after all he beat him pretty good last month. Daniels also gloated about his winning of the Candido Cup again. Frazier had finally had enough & gave in to the goading accepting the challenge for next month for his Cruiserweight Title.

Already signed for that night:

Steve Corino will invoke his rematch clause when he tries to regain the AFW Heavyweight Title from Mr. Kennedy.

AFW Cruiserweight Champion: Derek Frazier will defend his title against 2010 Chris Candido Cup Winner: Josh Daniels.

Doring's partner: the former multi-time World Champion: the big, the bad, the vicious SID!

Also, now that he has regained the AFW Rush Television Title; Caylen Croft has declared himself the greatest champion of all time. He has also told both Creative Control & Tommy Dreamer that it won't matter who he faces on July 24th. Davey Richards
Eddie Edwards
Jesse

The Calgary Kid made Juventud Guerrera submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf in 0:05:10.
Rating: ****

After the match, The Calgary Kid peels off his mask & takes the microphone. He explains how the reason for his name change in the first place was all due to a bad idea from Creative Control. Upon mentioning them, Creative Control's music hits & out come "The Franchise" Shane Douglas & Simon Diamond. Douglas stood outside the ring as Diamond climbed in, and told The Kid that if he wants to continue to be employed he would stop right there & continue on being The Calgary Kid & do as he's told. The Kid told Douglas that if he couldn't be Lance Storm again that he didn't want to work here anymore. Douglas told The Kid to think it over carefully, and The Kid dipped his head in thought. Then, just as quickly as he lowered his head, he looked up & attacked Diamond, dropping him with a superkick. The Kid/Storm stood over Diamond's body, looking directly at Douglas. Holding the microphone, The Kid/Storm told Douglas in no uncertain terms: "My name is now & will always be LANCE STORM!" Storm then dropped the mic on Diamond's chest and left the ring as Douglas stood in shock at the attack.

AFW Rush Television Champion: Caylen Croft comes to the ring with Alex Riley. Croft talks about how even though the "powers that be" have set him up with the unfair challenge of defending the AFW Rush TV Title against someone that the fans have voted for, he is still the greatest TV Champion of all time & will walk out tonight with the belt. Riley has the results in an envelope & hands it to Croft. Croft rips open the envelope & pulls out the paper with the results. A shocked look crosses his face, followed by a big smile. Croft tells the fans that they may think that they did something smart, but, it was the worst mistake they could have made. The results were written in large type as he held the paper high for all to see. For those that couldn't read it, Croft read out the name: Alex Riley. Riley celebrated at the news & Croft approached his partner. He congradulated Riley, but, then told him that he knew what to do. Riley looked confused, and Croft told him to lay down so that they could hurry up & leave. Riley thought about it, and then looked at Croft & told him "No." Riley said that he didn't want to lay down & that maybe it could be his turn to be the champ. Croft looked at him & told him to lay down again. Riley told him that he refused & that he wanted to have a real match to see just how good he is. Croft finally agreed & told the referee to ring the bell.

For the AFW Rush Television Title:
Caylen Croft (c ) vs Alex Riley

The 2 locked up & Croft hit Riley with a weak chop that sent him crashing to the mat. Croft quickly covered Riley & the referee counted 3. Croft then celebrated his "victory" as if he just participated in the match of his career. "Winded", Croft took the microphone & told the crowd that Riley was the toughest opponent he ever faced in the ring. The 2 shook hands & agreed to never let a title get between them again. Just then, Beverly ran to the ring, holding another envelope. She was trying to tell Croft something as he kept playing up how hard his title defense was tonight. Finally, furious about being interupted, Croft turned to Beverly to ask what she wanted. Beverly told Croft that he read from the wrong envelope. Croft looked confused & asked Beverly to explain herself. She told Croft that he had the wrong envelope & that Riley didn't win the vote to be his opponent. Croft got even more upset & demanded to know just who won. Suddenly, "Voices" by Disturbed played & "The Real Deal" Patrick Brink stepped out from the back to the cheers of the fans.

AFW Tag Team Champions: Ruckus & Sabian are in the ring waiting for Creative Control members: Shane Douglas & Simon Diamond to come out for their match. Douglas comes to the ring alone & informs them that the match will not happen tonight because Simon Diamond was not cleared to wrestle due to the attack earlier from Lance Storm. Instead, BLKOUT will defend their titles against the team that became #1 contenders last month: Dope & Creed: The Ghetto Mafia. They come out & enter the ring, but, before he leaves, Douglas informs them that if they are successful in capturing the AFW Tag Team Titles tonight, next month at Summer Heat, Dope & Creed will hand the belts over & forfeit the gold to Creative Control. Douglas laughs aloud & then leaves the 4 in the ring to battle for the championship.

The Ghetto Mafia (2 Dope and Qeenan Creed) defeated BLKOUT (Ruckus and Sabian) when Creed pinned Ruckus with the Creed Frog Splash in 0:24:15.

Josh Daniels and Derek Frazier battled to a draw in 0:15:00.
Rating: *** 3/4

Daniels pleaded with the referee to restart the match as Frazier grabbed the title belt & started to walk to the back. The referee asked Frazier if he would allow the restart, but, the champion refused. The crowd started chanting "5 more minutes", but, Frazier would not give in & laughed as he walked to the back with the title, leaving Daniels frustrated in the ring.

Kid Kash & Phill Shatter come to the ring and tell the crowd that both Johnny Curtis caught a summertime virus & would not be there tonight. But, Creative Control allowed him to go find a replacement partner to face Danny Doring & Sid Vicious. Kash then called out Romeo Roselli. Roselli comes to the ring reluctantly, and as he steps through the ropes, Kash reminds him that Kash Money Enterprises owns his contract so he doesn't have a choice but to take part in this match. Kash then adds that he will release him from any Kash Money Enterprises obligations if they are victorious tonight. Roselli looks at Kash & Shatter & upon hearing the added insentive, agrees to compete.
Danny Doring comes out next & tells the crowd that Johnny Curtis isn't really sick, so he pulled out his cell phone & told everyone in attendance that he was going to call him right now. Doring walked around the ring asking the fans, who wanted to talk to Johnny Curtis. Doring picked one lucky fan & dialed Curtis' home number. Curtis answered the phone & Doring put him on speaker & held the microphone to the phone. Doring asked Curtis what he was doing & Curtis told him (& the crowd) that he was home watching "Celebrity Rehab". The crowd laughed and Doring sarcasticly reminded Curtis that they were scheduled for a match tonight (right now as a matter of fact) & that he was a "douche bag" for taking the night off & hung up. Doring then got into the ring & looked over his opponents. He made fun of Kash & Roselli & their obvious lack of size (above & below the waist) & then he looked at Shatter & just didn't know what to say. All he could do was laugh. Doring then called for the sound man to hit the music of his partner for the night, and when the music started out came Sid Vicious.

Douglas explains that tonight will be a night of redemption for Creative Control. Douglas informed the crowd that Ruckus & Sabian have invoked their rematch clause for tonight, so if The Ghetto Mafia are able to defend the AFW Tag Team Title against the former champs, then they would immediately hand the blets over to Creative Control. Not only that, but, tonight a new #1 contender to the AFW Heavyweight Title will be crowned when Bryan Clark takes on Apollo. And to top it all off, Danny Doring & AFW Heavyweight Champion: Mr. Kennedy will team up to face Steve Corino & Johnny Curtis in the main event. Corino took the mic & told Kennedy that they would make sure to leave him laying in a pool of his own blood by the night's end, as they all laughed & exitted the ring.

After the match, Shane Douglas & Simon Diamond come to the ring to collect on the decree Douglas laid out earlier tonight. Douglas demanded that Dope & Creed hand the title belts over to Creative Control. The Ghetto Mafia looked at the gold that they fought so hard to win & retain, then at eachother. Dope shrugged and acted as if he was going to hand the gold to Douglas, but, stopped just short & leveled "The Franchise" with the belt instead. Creed, taking a cue from his partner, followed suit & did the same to Diamond. The fans cheered as the champions held the gold high in the air in celebration.

Eddie Edwards comes to the ring alone and takes the ring announcer's microphone to address the crowd. He tells everyone that over the past few months, he hasn't had the best luck in the win/loss department. He explains that he plans on changing all that starting tonight. He then introduces the person he picked to guide him to the top, his new manager: Kylie Pierce. The lovely Miss Pierce joins her charge in the ring & reassures him that together they will reach new heights.

The Bruiser comes to the ring as Apollo stands in one corner waiting for his opponent. Bruiser is carrying a microphone & warns Apollo that he will do whatever it takes to become the #1 contender & then go on to take the title from Mr. Kennedy. He told Apollo to just get out of the ring & forfeit the match. Apollo refused & instead took the fight straight to Bruiser as the referee called for the bell to start the match.

Caylen Croft leads Alex Riley to the ring. Croft has his arm in a sling & tells everyone that last month after wrestling his best friend, Riley in what had to be the match of not only the year, but, both their careers, he was forced to wrestle a second time against Patrick Brink. He explains that Brink then went on to take advantage of his weakened state to steal the AFW Rush Television Title from him. And now tonight, the athletic commission wouldn't clear him to wrestle & regain his title, so taking his place would be the man that gave him the match of his life: Alex Riley.

Patrick Brink defeated Alex Riley by disqualification in 0:11:09.
Rating: 1/2*
(Patrick Brink retained the AFW Rush TV Title.)
[Beverly and Caylen Croft interfered against Patrick Brink.]

Steve Corino & Johnny Curtis come to the ring with Shane Douglas. Douglas insiults the crowd & hands the mic to Curtis. Curtis goes off about how it was a low-class move for Doring to call him at home while he was sick last month. He told the crowd that Doring was a coward & wasn't even here tonight to face them. Curtis said that he was probably home watching "Celebrity Rehab" (the show Curtis was caught watching last month) or some other trash tv. Before he could get anymore out, Doring's music blasted through the arena & he came out from the back & was soon joined by AFW Champion: Mr. Kennedy.

After the match, as Curtis & Douglas assaulted Doring, Corino started hitting Kennedy with hard rights. Soon The Bruiser walked to the ring armed with a steel chair. Bruiser got in the ring & first dropped Doring with a shot to the head from the chair. Then, all of Creative Control turned their attention to the downed champion. They each took turns hitting their finishing move on Kennedy, and then held him up for Bruiser as the largest man in the ring hit him over the head so hard the seat of the chair folded around the top of Kennedy's skull. All 4 men stood over the 2 fallen hero's motionless bodies as the crowd booed.

FALL BRAWL
SEPTEMBER 12, 2010

Larry Philips finishes with his pre-show announcements & then introduces the first 3 teams for tonight's opening match. Before he can introduce the final team, Juventud Guerrera comes to the ring. Guerrera takes the microphone from Philips and tells the crowd that since his last partner is no longer around. He was left with no choice but to find someone that is truly championship caliber. Juvi then brings out Festus, who stepped out from the back with a confused look on his face. Juvi talked to him for a second & mentioned how his partner basically abandoned him & disappeared. Festus agreed to team with Juvi but if they failed to become #1 contenders tonight, then he won't ever team with Guerrera again.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Number-One-Contenders-Four Corners Match:
Ryan McBride and Teddy Stigma defeated Festus and Juventud Guerrera, Kid Kash and Romeo Roselli and Alex Riley and Cody Rhodes when R. McBride pinned Kash with the 450 Splash in 0:17:11.

Kylie Pierce leads her new team of Eddie Edwards & Scott Lost to the ring for the next match. On the way to the ring, they pass by McBride & Stigma. The 2 teams have a stare down for a few seconds, then continue on their way. Pierce gets her team into the ring & tells the fans that she is outraged that Edwards & Lost were not included in the previous match, but, Festus was. She calls out an open challenge for any team in the back to come out and face her men. Mike Quackenbush & Human Tornado  step out from the back to answer the call. They get to the ring & Pierce insults them about their less than spectacular size and tells them that they would be better off heading to the back & letting a real team come out for this challenge. This enraged Quackenbush & Tornado enough to where they just simply attacked Edwards & Lost before the referee could call for the bell.

Eddie Edwards and Scott Lost defeated Human Tornado and Mike Quackenbush when E. Edwards pinned M. Quackenbush with the Die Hard in 0:18:20.

Josh Daniels defeated Derek Frazier by countout in 0:10:49.
Rating: ****

Daniels stands in the ring, frustrated that he won the battle, but, not the war over the Cruiserweight Title. While outside in the floor, Frazier clutched his title belt as he retreated to the back, yelling to Daniels that he would not be getting another chance anytime soon.

Creative Control's music plays as "The Franchise" Shane Douglas comes to the ring, flanked by Steve Corino. Douglas gets on the mic, and tells the fans that apparently The Ghetto Mafia didn't understand the deal that was made back at Boiling Point. The deal was that if the Mafia won the gold, that they would turn the belts over to Creative Control. Then last month when they came to collect, the "champions" had the nerve to attack the man that owns half this company. So tonight, 2 Dope & Creed can do one of 2 things, they can either hand the titles over to "The Franchise" & Steve Corino or they can have the belts taken away by force. This, of course, brought out The Ghetto Mafia to the the ring. 2 Dope told Douglas that just handing over the gold wouldn't be cool, but, he knows what would be. Just then Ruckus & Sabian came to the ring. Ruckus told the Mafia & Creative Control that last month, he & Sabian got screwed over by a fast count that Douglas forced the referee to make. Ruckus then challenged both teams to make tonight's match a triple threat to give them a fair cahnce at regaining the gold. Creed accepted on behalf of the champions & Corino agreed on behalf of Creative Control. Both their respective partners looked unhappy with the choices made by the men they trusted most.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match:

As the 2 beat on Doring, AFW Co-Owner Tommy Dreamer charged the ring to make the save. The Creative Control members stood outside the ring, held at bay by the chair weilding Dreamer. This gave Doring enough time to recover & get a microphone. He told Curtis & Barreta that he was tired of always having to battle the odds when it came to Creative Control. Doring then suggested that tonight the odds get evened up by taking on the 2 of them later on tonight in a tag team match. Doring then turned to Dreamer, and told him that even though he has all the respect in the world for the co-owner, he has a different partner in mind. And tonight, they plan on taking it past hardcore to a new level of extreme.

Patrick Brink defeated Caylen Croft by disqualification in 0:12:19.

Shane Douglas accompanies Creative Control's Johnny Curtis & Trent Barreta to the ring for their tag team match against Danny Doring & his "mystery" partner. Douglas gets the mic & tells Doring that its not going to be a surprise when The Sandman comes out to team with him tonight, so get it over with & get to the ring. Doring's music hits as he steps out from the back. Doring gets about halfway to the ring when his music stops. Then as the crowd's cheers begin to grow louder, Metallica's "Enter Sandman" plays as the man known as "Chain smoking, beer drinking, cane swinging, Extreme ICON": former 5 time ECW Heavyweight & ECW Tag Team Champion: The Sandman steps onto the runway. Sandman gets in the ring & mounts the second turnbuckle and reaches into his pocket to pull out a can of beer. He pops the top & chugs the entie can before smashing it on his own forehead, to the cheers of the fans.
