LPW - Live Pro Wrestling

VertigoPosted on 04/28/10 at 18:07:48

There seems to be a nice resurgence of circuits on the board and I would like to add mine to it. I've been running this for a few months now and am really enjoying it.

I'm using Rick's Old School Rules and a roster entirely chosen at random. My database doesn't contain many current big name WWE or TNA names. The 20 names I started with are a bit obscure, but that's what makes TNM so fun for me, and that's what is important.

Things start off slow the first few weeks as I start building up the roster and characters, but things get really interesting, I promise. Oh, and as for show names - they don't usually mean anything. Kinda like PWG's show names I guess.

Let's begin.

LPW Week 1 - Beginnings

Austin Aries and Josh Raymond defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when Aries pinned York after a crucifix in 0:02:02.
Rating: **
(Brian Kendrick no-showed.)

Josh Raymond was a last second substitute for Brian Kendrick. It didn't seem to effect the outcome though as Aries caught York off guard with a crucifix for the win. Despite winning the match, it doesn't appear that Aries & Raymond will form a long term alliance.

Rene Dupree defeated The Boogeyman by countout in 0:13:56.
Rating: 3/4*

Dupree certainly had his hands full with the freakishly strange Boogeyman tonight. In the end, Boogeyman ignored the referee's count and crawled underneath ring. While Dupree questioned what exactly The Boogeyman was doing under the ring, Boogeyman crawled out with a bag of worms and tossed them into the ring, sending worms everywhere. Dupree high tailed it to the lockerroom area while Boogeyman feasted on his slimy nightcrawlers.

Booker T defeated Danny Doring by disqualification in 0:08:23.
Rating: ** 1/2

Doring tried numerous times throughout the match to put away Booker T but was unsuccessful. His frustration hit a boiling point after Booker kicked out of the Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am. Doring gets DQ'd by manhandling the referee.

Pre-Match Promo > In Ring:
The duo of Lance Cade and Ted Dibiase claimed to be the future of pro wrestling and legends in the making. They said it was only natural that two all-stars of the sport would gravitate towards one another. They called themselves The Natural Connection before being interrupted by New Jack & The Sandman and having an impromptu match.

New Jack and The Sandman defeated The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) when New Jack pinned DiBiase with the 187 in 0:11:25.
Rating: **

What The Natural Connection didn't count on was having to face the extremely uncontrollable duo of New Jack & The Sandman. They also hadn't counted on having the most laid back referee in LPW, Nick Richardson, officiating the match. One guitar shot and a 187 later, Dibiase & Cade were on the losing end of an extreme beatdown.

[No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match]
William Regal pinned Sabu after a dragon suplex in 0:08:07.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Bill Alfonso interfered against William Regal.]

This was a back-and-forth brawl all over the arena. This is Sabu's style of match, but Regal doesn't mind a fight either. Regal walks away with the victory but both men looked worse-for-ware when it was all said and done.

[Four Corners Match]
Abyss defeated Chuck Palumbo, Josh Raymond and Afa Jr. when Abyss defeated Afa Jr. by disqualification in 0:15:00.
Rating: 3/4*

Referee Nick Richardson doesn't mind letting the action get a little out of hand, but one thing he obviously doesn't tolerate is being INVOLVED in the action. He promptly threw this match out after being used as a shield by Afa Jr. Abyss gets the win simply for being the other legal man at the time.

Post Match > Backstage:
Danny Doring caught up with Afa Jr. in the lockerroom area. Doring informs Afa Jr. that he likes what he sees in the young talent and that together he thinks both of them can take it to the next level in LPW. After brief consideration, Afa Jr. agrees that it's important to have an ally and they shake hands.

Your Main Event:
Karl Anderson pinned Cactus Jack with the Spinebuster in 0:18:38.
Rating: ****

An excellent main event that showed that Karl Anderson is indeed a wrestler worthy of the "franchise" tag and that Cactus Jack can still bring it when he needs to. Anderson stuck to his gameplan of wearing down Jack with hold after hold despite knowing he would likely never be able to get Jack to submit. After nearly 20 minutes of action, Anderson was able to pin Cactus Jack with the Spinebuster.

Card Rating: **1/2

Match of the Night: Karl Anderson vs. Cactus Jack

Circuit Information:
In next week's Main Event, Sabu & Cactus Jack will team up to face the men that defeated them tonight, Karl Anderson & William Regal. But this won't be any ordinary tag match... it will be a TABLES MATCH!

Also next week, a One-Night Tournament will be held to crown the first LPW Tag Team Champions. The brackets are as follows:

New Jack & The Sandman
vs.
Josh Raymond & Rene Dupree

Abyss & The Boogeyman
vs.
Austin Aries & Brian Kendrick

Christian York & Rocky Romero
vs.
Danny Doring & Afa Jr.

Chuck Palumbo & Booker T
vs.
The Natural Connection
JoshiQPosted on 04/28/10 at 18:31:16

You definitely have an interesting roster to work with. I really like the idea of teaming Cade and DiBiase. They sound like a couple of guys that would really do well together.

I can't believe that we never got the enjoyment of seeing a Sabu vs Regal match. I'm really dying to see that match in person now.

Karl Anderson is a new one to me, I'll have to Google him and see who he is. Anyways, I'll be looking forward to reading more. Hopefully I'll be able to comment more once I get a feeling for it. :)
VertigoPosted on 04/28/10 at 18:47:46

Yeah, I'm hoping I don't put off people simply by the roster selection but I know it happens. I just hope my write-ups and character/storyline development can keep people reading. I won't stop posting if no one's interested but it's always nice to get feedback now and then.

Karl Anderson is becoming quite a star in New Japan right now. He's done a lot of work with PWG in California.

LPW Week 2 Preview
LPW Tag Team Championship Tournament

Here is a quick rundown of the tag teams competing in the LPW Tag Team Championship tournament:

#1 - New Jack & The Sandman
These are two men who are icons of hardcore wrestling. Their roots date back to the days of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling. Their style hasn't changed a bit and they'll both choose a steal chair or Singapore cane over a headlock and hiptoss anyday. This team is the only team in the tournament to already hold a victory in LPW.

#2 - The Natural Connection
The duo of Lance Cade & Ted Dibiase. One would think that considering they have already lost a match in LPW, that they would be happy with the #2 seed. But oh no! They can't believe they weren't chosen for the #1 seed! They have already claimed to be up-and-coming legends of the business and they have no doubts about winning the Tag Team Championships.

#3 - Christian York & Rocky Romero
They have become good friends since inking deals with LPW. They consider their loss in Week 1 just a minor setback. They continue to train together daily in an effort to better their teamwork and increase their chances at winning the tournament.

#4 - Austin Aries & Brian Kendrick
This team, if we can call it that, has already gotten off to a rocky start in LPW. For reasons unknown, Kendrick MISSED the debut show in which he was scheduled to team with Aries. Assuming they have sorted the issue out, this team has potential for greatness.

#5 - Abyss & The Boogeyman
Without a doubt the scariest duo in the tournament, and possibly all of wrestling today. We can only assume this partnership was formed in an alley or sewer system somewhere. Their size alone may be enough to catapult them to victory and the Tag Team titles.

#6 - Danny Doring & Afa Jr.
We're not sure how sincere this partnership is, but both claim to have each other's back in LPW. Considering both men got themselves disqualified in the debut show, who really knows how well this alliance will form?

#7 - Chuck Palumbo & Booker T
Both Palumbo and Booker became successful early on in their careers as tag team wrestlers. Both bring different qualities to the table, and with Sharmell in their corner, anything is possible.

#8 - Josh Raymond & Rene Dupree
On the surface, these two have nothing in common. As a matter of fact, they have nothing in common at all, anywhere. This is quite the pairing and it will be interesting to see how they fair together.
rey619Posted on 04/29/10 at 08:27:25

I don't think your roster is obscure at all  ;D

Haven't seen Karl Anderson's work in Japan, just a few matches in PWG and ROH. It's really an interesting choice as a franchise player, and it'll be cool to see how it plays out.

I see you run unbooked.. one suggestion might be to tweak the setting for wrestlers attacking referees. With the default setting, way too many matches will end in a DQ due to the wrestlers attacking the referee.

Just a suggestion :)

LPW Week 2
LPW Tag Team Championship Tournament

[Quarterfinals]
New Jack and The Sandman defeated Rene Dupree and Josh Raymond when Sandman pinned R. Dupree with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:11:02.
Rating: ** 1/4
[Abyss interfered against Josh Raymond.]

Raymond & Dupree actually didn't do too bad in this match. Abyss came to ringside for reasons unknown. Raymond seemed a bit upset at his presence and had some choice words for him, but nothing came of it. The Sandman catches Dupree out of nowhere with the White Russian Legsweep for the win.

[Quarterfinals]
The Nightmare Monsters (Boogeyman and Abyss) defeated Austin Aries and Brian Kendrick when Boogeyman pinned B. Kendrick after a flying bodypress in 0:11:22.
Rating: ** 1/4

Aries & Kendrick were unable to form any kind of strategy against their monstrous opponents and although they worked pretty well together, tonight was not their night.

[Quarterfinals]
Christian York and Rocky Romero defeated Afa Jr. and Danny Doring when York pinned Doring with the Inverted Cross in 0:14:33.
Rating: *** 1/4

York manages a pinfall over Doring to advance in the tournament, but Afa Jr. attacked both York & Romero following the match. When Doring regained his wits he joined in on the beating until officials had to pull them away from the battered York & Romero.

[Quarterfinals]
Chuck Palumbo and Booker T defeated The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) when Booker pinned Cade with the Axe Kick in 0:08:27.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Sharmell interfered against Lance Cade.]

The Natural Connection talks a big game but for the second week in a row they come out on the losing end. Palumbo & Booker looked great in this match. Sharmell played a minor roll as a distraction, but the results would likely have been the same even if she wasn't ringside.

[Semi-Finals]
The Nightmare Monsters (Boogeyman and Abyss) defeated New Jack and The Sandman when Boogeyman defeated New Jack via pinfall in 0:11:28.
Rating: * 1/4

This was a wild brawl from start to finish. New Jack & Sandman didn't back down from their mammoth opponents but they were too much for them to overcome. Boogeyman & Abyss advance to finals.

[Semi-Finals]
Chuck Palumbo and Booker T defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when C. Palumbo pinned R. Romero after the Discus Punch in 0:01:45.
Rating: **

York & Romero came into the match in bad shape from the post-match beating they received earlier in the night from Doring & Afa Jr. While Palumbo & Booker T would have loved to wrestle an even match, they did what they had to. Palumbo put Romero down with one brutal Discus Punch. The quick match gave them a little rest before entering the finals.

[Finals: Match for the vacant LPW Tag Team Championship]
Chuck Palumbo and Booker T defeated The Nightmare Monsters (Boogeyman and Abyss) when Booker pinned Boogeyman after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:09:31.
Rating: **
(Chuck Palumbo and Booker T won the LPW Tag Team Championship.)
[Sharmell interfered against Abyss.]

Here are your winners and NEW LPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS... Chuck Palumbo & Booker T!

Boogeyman & Abyss imposed their will on the two tag team veterans and looked to be well on their way to winning the LPW Tag Team Championship. However, Palumbo & Booker's teamwork was just enough for them squeak by and capture the titles!

Your Main Event:
[Table Match]
Karl Anderson and William Regal defeated Sabu and Cactus Jack when W. Regal defeated Sabu by putting him through a table in 0:05:07.
Rating: ** 1/4

A wild main event that didn't last too long, but it was entertaining none the less. Surprisingly, Sabu was the one put through a table by a William Regal elbowdrop! Cactus Jack wanted to fight some more after the match, but Regal & Anderson smartly declined.

Card Rating: **

Match of the Night: Christian York & Rocky Romero vs. Afa Jr. & "Dangerous" Danny Doring

Circuit Information:
The fued between Cactus Jack & Sabu and Karl Anderson & William Regal rages on! Next week, Anderson battles Sabu and Regal takes on Cactus Jack!

In an interview immediately following tonight's event, Booker T & Chuck Palumbo offered a rematch to Abyss & The Boogeyman. Sharmell had a look of disbelief on her face as she cradled Booker's half of the Championship. Booker went on to explain that the rematch will be even better with both teams having a full week to recover from tonight's matches and come back 100%.

Not surprisingly, Christian York & Rocky Romero are upset about what happened to them tonight. They have already issued a challenge to Danny Doring & Afa Jr. Doring & Afa Jr. were not available for comment and as of now, they have not accepted the challenge.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Rematch: Chuck Palumbo & Booker T (c) vs. The Boogeyman & Abyss
** Sabu vs. Karl Anderson
** Cactus Jack vs. William Regal

LPW Week 3
Into the Blue

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Christian York & Rocky Romero reiterate their challenge to Danny Doring & Afa Jr. and demand they face them tonight. Doring stands in the entranceway to tell York & Romero that he and Afa Jr. already have matches tonight. However, he says their are two guys in the back willing to take them up on their offer.

Christian York and Rocky Romero defeated Petey Williams and Delirious when R. Romero defeated Delirious by disqualification in 0:13:32.
Rating: ***

What a surprise! Petey Williams & Delirious, accompanied by Daizee Haze, make an appearance in LPW. This match was an excellent opener and really got the show off to a good start. Unfortunately the match ended with a disqualification when Delirious' temper got the best of him and he tossed the referee to the floor. Could this be a sign of Williams & Delirious attitude in LPW?

Brian Kendrick pinned Rene Dupree after a flying cross body press in 0:07:58.
Brian Kendrick tore his left meniscus. He will be out for approximately 7 cards.
Rating: ** 1/4

Kendrick favored his knee considerably towards the end of the match. After securing the win, he had a hard time getting back to his feet on his own and required help to the lockerroom area.

Josh Raymond pinned Danny Doring with the Corkscrew 450 Splash in 0:08:37.
Rating: ** 1/4
[Rocky Romero interfered against Danny Doring.]

Romero made an attempt at sabotaging Doring's chances of winning, but he was prevented by officials before he could do any damage. After Raymond kicked out of Doring's finishing move after only a 1-count, Doring had words with the referee that resulted in Doring actually being pushed onto his ass by the REF! This led to Doring losing the match!

Austin Aries pinned Ted DiBiase with the 450 Splash in 0:06:56.
Rating: ***

Post Match > Backstage:
Ted Dibiase storms backstage upset about losing. His partner Lance Cade tries calming him down, but Dibiase reminds him that they've been on a losing streak and it has to end. Cade says tonight he will pick up the win in his match and then they will focus on bigger and better things.

Afa Jr. defeated New Jack by disqualification in 0:00:47.
Rating: 1/2*
[Christian York interfered against Afa Jr..]

This could have been an interesting match but Christian York had no intentions of letting it happen. Not even a minute into the match, York hit the ring and furiously attacked Afa Jr. New Jack, who didn't seem too upset about losing by disqualification, was amused by it. He even handed York a chair to use but before he could Afa Jr. was out of the ring. Officials were required to keep the two seperated.

The Sandman defeated Lance Cade via pinfall in 0:08:36.
Rating: * 3/4

The Sandman was able to pick up the win after he legdropped Cade through a table.

Post Match > Backstage:
Cade returns to the locker room clutching his back. Dibiase is waiting for him and reminds Cade that he said he was going to turn things around tonight. Cade complained about being put through a table and says that if The Natural Connection are going to be successful they're going to have to up their game. They agree that no one is taking notice of them due to their losing streak and they need to do something to get noticed before they can ever think of winning a Championship.

Cactus Jack pinned William Regal with the Double Arm DDT in 0:03:32.
Rating: ** 3/4

These two had a score to settle tonight and they both planned on doing just that. This was easily the most physical match on the card despite it's short length. Cactus Jack secured the win with his Double Arm DDT.

Sabu pinned Karl Anderson after a ropeflip moonsault in 0:06:13.
Rating: ** 3/4

Anderson had his hands full tonight with a fired up Sabu. Sabu appears to be getting into his stride here in LPW and it showed tonight. You could even say it caught Anderson a bit by surprise. After Sabu won, William Regal joined his fallen ally in the ring.

Post Match Promo > In Ring:
William Regal & Karl Anderson cut a promo on Cactus Jack & Sabu to let them know this isn't the end. They claimed that since last week they agreed to wrestle in a Tables Match, next week they're challenging them to a tag team match with THEIR OWN stipulation... a special referee to be named later.

Your Main Event:
[LPW Tag Team Championship Match]
Booker T and Chuck Palumbo defeated The Nightmare Monsters (Abyss and Boogeyman) when Booker pinned Abyss with the Axe Kick in 0:11:42.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Booker T and Chuck Palumbo retained the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

This rematch did not disappoint. Abyss & The Boogeyman came close to winning on numerous occassions, but Booker & Palumbo showed they are fighting Champions. Sharmell grabbed the belts and celebrated with her exhausted Tag Team Champions.

Card Rating: ** 1/2

Match of the Night: Chuck Palumbo & Booker T vs. The Boogeyman & Abyss

Circuit Information:
Cactus Jack & Sabu have accepted the match with William Regal & Karl Anderson. As for who the special guest referee will be, Regal & Anderson are remaining tight-lipped. Whether that means they actually have a referee chosen already or not remains unknown. We will find out next week.

Once again Christian York & Rocky Romero have challenged Danny Doring & Afa Jr. to a match and ONCE AGAIN Doring has declined. This time, however, he says it's because LPW refuses to fire referee Joel Webster for his actions against Doring tonight. Doring has gone so far as to refuse to work next week's event ENTIRELY! But Afa Jr. has stepped up to face Christian York in a one-on-one match with the special stipulation that Rocky Romero be banned from ringside.

On the show The Natural Connection discussed making a change in an effort to improve their record in LPW. Oddly enough, Lance Cade has challenged ABYSS of all people for next week.

Brian Kendrick tore his left meniscus and will require some time off. We wish him well in his recovery and hope to see him again soon in LPW.

Announced for next week:
** Karl Anderson & William Regal vs. Cactus Jack & Sabu - Special Guest Referee to be named later
** Christian York vs. Afa Jr. - Rocky Romero is banned from ringside
** Lance Cade vs. Abyss

King_Of_Old_SchoolPosted on 05/02/10 at 17:14:48

I'm really impressed with how you roll with everything this circuit throws at you.  It's great that you're leaving it unbooked. Feel a bit bad for Kendrick though - not a glittering LPW career so far!
VertigoPosted on 05/02/10 at 23:10:59

I've tried to run booked before but I get bored quickly. When I run unbooked I feel like I have something new to look forward to every card. It makes me feel like a fan of the promotion reporting on the events rather than the creative writer.

And yes, Kendrick has had no luck so far. He is an example of a guy I personally like and would have liked do some creative things with, but TNM doesn't agree with me. On the other hand, Booker & Palumbo were in the bottom half of teams I would have liked to win the belts but now their top draws.

LPW Week 4
The History of Trunks

Rocky Romero pinned Rene Dupree after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:01:37.
Rating: * 3/4

Dupree was completely outmatched. Romero came in, wrestled circles around Dupree, and pinned him in under 2 minutes. Dupree hasn't looked like the "French Phenom" we saw earlier in his career.

Austin Aries pinned Chuck Palumbo after a crucifix in 0:05:49.
Rating: *** 3/4

Palumbo appeared to have swung the momentum back in his favor but Aries was able to counter a powerslam with a crucifix for the win over half of the Tag Team Champions.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring:
Petey Williams and Delirious, along with manager Daizee Haze, came to the ring to put themselves over not being under contract in LPW. The fans in attendance didn't take too well to their arrogance so they were more than happy when The Sandman & New Jack hit the ring for an impromptu match.

New Jack and The Sandman defeated Delirious and Petey Williams when New Jack pinned P. Williams after a headbutt in 0:11:59.
Rating: ***
[Daizee Haze interfered against The Sandman.]

It's safe to assume that Williams & Delirious were not prepared for a match tonight, let alone a match against the duo of New Jack & The Sandman. While they did manage to somewhat pull it together and nearly pull off a win, they couldn't quite get the job done.

Abyss defeated Lance Cade by disqualification in 0:06:23.
Rating: * 1/2
[Ted Dibiase interfered against Abyss.]

The Natural Connection talked last week about changing their routine a bit and making an impact. It would appear they attempted to do just that against Abyss but were unsuccessful in getting Cade a win. Abyss wanted to go at it some more, but The Natural Connection were not taking any chances.

Josh Raymond defeated Booker T by disqualification in 0:08:04.
Rating: ** 1/4
[Sharmell interfered against Josh Raymond.]

We know one thing, Sharmell doesn't like the risk of her man losing a match whether gold is on the line or not. Raymond was giving Booker a run for his money and was preparing to put Booker away when Sharmell got involved. The referee disqualified Booker promptly.

[Rocky Romero banned from Ringside]
Afa Jr. pinned Christian York after a cross-body block in 0:09:03.
Rating: * 1/4
[Danny Doring interfered against Christian York.]

Danny Doring had swore to everyone that he was boycotting this event and would not be involved. However, we should have known better as this was all a part of his plan to further get under the skin of Christian York. York's partner, Rocky Romero was banned from ringside and risked suffering major consequences if he got involved during the match. So Doring helped his partner Afa Jr. get a win and together they put a little beat down on York after the match until Romero came out for the save. Doring hightailed it through the crowd while Afa Jr. hung back and slugged it out with Romero until they were seperated.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring:
Ted Dibiase came out to announce to the crowd that he was handpicked by Karl Anderson & William Regal to be the referee for the Main Event.

Your Main Event
[Match with Special Referee Ted Dibiase]
Cactus Jack and Sabu defeated William Regal and Karl Anderson when Sabu pinned K. Anderson after a flying clothesline in 0:25:10.
Rating: **** 3/4

This one ended a little differently than we had thought it would seeing that Anderson & Regal chose Dibiase to referee. The tag team match was incredible with Dibiase calling it down the middle the entire time. He did a fine job of keeping Bill Alfonso from getting involved, which may have been the only thing he was specifically told to do. In any case, Anderson didn't kick out of the flying clothesline by Sabu and Dibiase counted down his shoulders. Dibiase didn't stick around to raise anyone's hand but he did leave the ring with a look of accomplishment on his face.

Card Rating: ** 3/4

Match of the Night: Cactus Jack & Sabu vs. William Regal & Karl Anderson

Circuit Information:
Next week is the beginning of qualifying matches for the LPW Championship Tournament in just 4 weeks. No names have been announced yet but we'll find out next week when we witness 3 qualifying matches.

Cactus Jack & Sabu and Karl Anderson & William Regal threw down tonight as their feud continues to rage on. They had their best match tonight, but things haven't been settled. Anderson and Sabu will face off one-on-one in next week's main event.

Ted Dibiase was hand picked to referee the main event tonight and he appeared to have his own agenda. If The Natural Connection were worried about being overlooked in LPW they shouldn't worry about that anymore. They're the talk of the week after Dibiase counted Anderson's shoulders to the mat. Not only that, they've made an enemy out of "The Monster" Abyss as well. In fact, a rematch has been signed for next week between Lance Cade & Abyss.

Announced for next week:
** Sabu vs. Karl Anderson
** Abyss vs. Lance Cade
** 3 LPW Championship Tournament qualifying matches
JoshiQPosted on 05/04/10 at 15:57:05

It looks like the Natural Connection is still on the losing side. I guess that's why I like to book my cards, it sucks when a couple of good characters and personalities get jobbed out by TNM. Hopefully they will be able to capitalize on their possible feud with Karl Anderson.

I am really enjoying seeing Regal near the top of the card. Same with Cactus and Sabu.

It'll be interesting to see who comes away with the LPW Title. Anyways, good job so far. I hope TNM gives you some good results in the tournament. :)
VertigoPosted on 05/04/10 at 19:32:16

I don't consider the losses of The Natural Connection a bad thing. I can still be creative with a team that's losing, especially a team like them who think they're the best thing to happen to wrestling.

The first few cards, even all the way up through the Championship Tournament, didn't give me favorable results. But that just means TNM steered me in a different direction than I originally had in mind which is not a bad thing at all.

LPW Week 5
The Party at the Threshold of Hell

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Afa Jr. pinned Rocky Romero after a frog splash in 0:08:22.
Rating: ** 1/2

Not only do these two have a score to settle with each other, but with a chance to qualify for the LPW Championship Tournament on the line winning was even more important. Everyone expected Danny Doring to get involved on behalf of Afa Jr., but as Afa has proved in the past, he really doesn't need anyone's help and he was able to get a convincing win over Romero.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Boogeyman pinned Ted DiBiase after hitting him with brass knuckles in 0:09:37.
Rating: **
[Lance Cade interfered against Boogeyman.]

The Natural Connection's plan backfired here and it cost Dibiase big time as Boogeyman intercepted Cade's brass knuckles and used them to defeat Dibiase! Not only does he lose yet another match, but he also failed to qualify for the LPW Championship Tournament.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
New Jack pinned Austin Aries with the 187 in 0:06:29.
Rating: ** 1/4

Most would call this an upset, but anything can happen with New Jack around. Aries dominated the majority of the match in the ring even being a bit cocky at times. However, once the action spilled to the outside, Jack gained momentum and with the help of a concealed fork was able to put away Aries to qualify for the LPW Championship Tournament.

Delirious, Josh Raymond and Petey Williams defeated The Sandman, Chuck Palumbo and Booker T when J. Raymond pinned Sandman with the Corkscrew 450 Splash in 0:16:28.
Rating: ***

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Petey Williams got on the microphone. He put over Josh Raymond as the future of LPW and said that next week he would win his LPW Championship Tournament Qualifying Match. Then he called out the LPW Tag Team Champions, Palumbo & Booker T, and challenged them to a match for next week. He said that despite not being the Top Contendors, that they would put something on the line. Petey said that if they can't win the Tag Team Championship then they would drop all contract negotiations and leave LPW for good.

Lance Cade defeated Abyss by countout in 0:05:43.
Rating: 3/4*
[Ted Dibiase interfered against Abyss.]

Unlike earlier tonight, The Natural Connection were able to cheat to get Cade a victory over Abyss. While Cade distracted the referee, Dibiase hit a brutal powerslam on Abyss on the floor rendering him unable to get back in the ring.

Post Match
William Regal interrupted The Natural Connection's celebration and cut on a promo on Ted Dibiase about his role in last week's tag team main event. While Dibiase explained he was assigned to be the referee and was calling it right down the middle, Bill Alfonso, accompanied by Sabu, came to the ring. Alfonso said he knew and thing or two about calling it down the middle and told Regal to quit whining about the loss. He then went on to challenge Regal to one final match next week against Sabu... a Stretcher Match! Regal accepted just before Karl Anderson hit the ring to rudely begin tonight's Main Event.

Karl Anderson pinned Sabu with the Spinebuster in 0:21:06.
Rating: **** 1/4
[Bill Alfonso interfered against Karl Anderson.]

Anderson and Sabu tore the house down tonight in the main event. These two have been enemies since the beginning of LPW and they are very familiar with each other. Anderson won the match with his brutal Spinebuster! So does this end the feud between these two? What's next for Karl Anderson? He has momentum with this win and could easily be a top contendor in the LPW Championship Tournament if he were to qualify.

Card Rating: ** 3/4

Match of the Night: Karl Anderson vs. Sabu

Circuit Information:
Karl Anderson has put his name into the hat to qualify for the LPW Championship Tournament. Next week in his qualifying match he will face The Sandman!

Bill Alfonso has issued a challenge on behalf of Sabu to William Regal... a Stretcher Match! Regal has no problems sending Sabu away on a stretcher and he has accepted the challenge.

After what went down tonight with Abyss and Lance Cade, a rematch has been signed. This time, it's a Qualifying Match!

Chuck Palumbo & Booker T have accepted the challenge of Petey Williams & Delirious. It's the Tag Team Championships on the line and if Williams & Delirious don't win the belts, they leave LPW!

LPW Week 6
Take It or Leave

Pre Show Announcement
The show opened with an important message to all the wrestlers and the fans. Next week, any wrestler in LPW who has not qualified for the LPW Championship Tournament to be held in two weeks will be eligible to compete in a Gauntlet Style Battle Royal. The rules are simple. Two wrestlers will start and every two minutes thereafter another wrestler will enter. A wrestler is eliminated by being thrown over the top rope. The winner will get the 8th and FINAL spot in the LPW Championship Tournament.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Josh Raymond pinned Christian York after the lung blower in 0:09:29.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Danny Doring interfered against Christian York.]

Josh Raymond has been on a hot streak and tonight that streak was threatened by Christian York. "Dangerous" Danny Doring had other plans for York, however, as he came to ringside with one thing in mind; to cost York his opportunity at the LPW Championship. With York's attention on Doring, Raymond was able to hit the lung blower for the win.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Cactus Jack pinned Danny Doring with the Double Arm DDT in 0:01:41.
Rating: **

Doring may have been too preoccupied with involving himself in York's match to prepare for his own match. Cactus Jack made quick work of Doring, who hasn't proved to be much in LPW besides a menace.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Cactus Jack cut a promo saying he has held championships from all around the world and that in two weeks he plans to add the LPW Championship to that list.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Karl Anderson defeated The Sandman by disqualification in 0:12:45.
Rating: ** 1/2

Perhaps in frustration, or perhaps in good fun, The Sandman thought it would be best to just crack Anderson in the head with his Singapore Cane and throw away his chance at the LPW Championship. Anderson was a bit groggy, but happy nonetheless to have advanced to the Tournament.

[LPW Championship Tournament Qualifier Match]
Abyss pinned Lance Cade with the Black Hole Slam in 0:06:54.
Rating: * 1/4
[Boogeyman interfered against Lance Cade.]
[Ted Dibiase interfered against Abyss.]

Dibiase had similar intentions as last week, but this time Boogeyman was watching and prevented any major interference. While the two brawled at ringside, Abyss was able to catch Cade coming off the ropes with the Black Hole Slam for the win. The Natural Connection could only watch as The Nightmare Monsters celebrated in the ring.

Post Match Promo > Backstage
The Natural Connection were irate about Cade's loss tonight but vowed revenge saying they are both entering next week's Gauntlet Style Battle Royal and plan to not only prevent Boogeyman & Abyss from winning the tournament, but one of them also will be crowned the first LPW Champion.

[LPW Tag Team Championship Match]
Delirious and Petey Williams defeated Chuck Palumbo and Booker T when Delirious made Booker submit to the Cobra Stretch in 0:42:06.
Rating: *****
(Delirious and Petey Williams won the LPW Tag Team Championship.)
[Josh Raymond interfered against Booker T.]

Here are your winners.... and NEW LPW Tag Team Champions... Petey Williams & Delirious!!

An absolute EPIC matchup for the Tag Team Championship! The match was originally scheduled for 30 minutes, but once 30 minutes hit, the fans would not accept a time-limit draw and insisted an extension on time. Despite Sharmell begging her Champions to take the belts and walk, the fight raged on. In the end, Josh Raymond came to ringside and with Daizee Haze distracting the referee, Raymond clubbed Booker in the back with a steel chair sending Booker into a submission defeat to the Cobra Stretch!

Your Main Event:
[Stretcher Match]
William Regal defeated Sabu in 0:41:21.
Rating: *** 3/4
[Bill Alfonso interfered against William Regal.]

As tough a spot as it was to follow the Tag Team Championship Match, Regal and Sabu did not disappoint in their stretcher match. A complete opposite style of match than the previous, these two brawled all over ringside and were bleeding everywhere. Sabu tried to put Regal out using every weapon he could get his hands on while Regal continuously worked on the historically bad neck of Sabu. In the end, following a vicious final neckbreaker, Sabu was stretchered out.

Card Rating: *** 1/4

Match of the Night: Chuck Palumbo & Booker T vs. Petey Williams & Delirious

Circuit Information:
The spotlight tonight was on the Tag Team Championship Match! The stakes were high and no one could have expected the classic they had received! The finish was tainted, however, with Josh Raymond getting involved in the match. Sharmell has begged the LPW Board of Directors to reverse the decision but they have insisted that the referee's decision is final.

Speaking of the new Tag Team Champions, Petey Williams & Delirious (along with Daizee Haze) have signed short-term contracts with LPW. They wrestle their first match as Champions next week in a non-title match against The Nightmare Monsters.

The bitter rivalry brewing between Christian York and Danny Doring could come to a head next week as they will finally meet in one-on-one competition!

In the beginning of tonight's show an announcement was made that a Gauntlet Style Battle Royal will be held next week with the winner receiving the final spot in the LPW Championship Tournament to be held in two weeks' time. Be sure that no one on the roster will pass this opportunity up even if they already have a match that night!

Four wrestlers who have already qualified have agreed to compete in a tag team match in an effort to gain some insight to their potential opponents in the tournament. The man who has already stated he is the franchise of the company, Karl Anderson, will team with the man who has been turning heads, making friends, and creating enemies in the past few weeks, Josh Raymond. Together they battle the hardcore duo of Cactus Jack and "The Original Gangsta" New Jack!

Announced for Next Week:
** Gauntlet Style Battle Royal for the final spot in the LPW Championship Tournament
** Non-Title Match - Petey Williams & Delirious vs. The Nightmare Monsters
** Karl Anderson & Josh Raymond vs. Cactus Jack & New Jack
** Danny Doring vs. Christian York

Wrestlers Qualified for LPW Championship Tournament:
1. Afa Jr.
2. The Boogeyman
3. New Jack
4. Josh Raymond
5. Cactus Jack
6. Karl Anderson
7. Abyss
JoshiQPosted on 05/07/10 at 21:07:10

Well, I'm definitely happy to see some of the stronger guys qualify for the tournament. I'm hoping it's Anderson, Regal, or Foley coming out with the Title.

Anyways, the write-ups have been done very well, and even though I'm not a huge fan of non-booked feds, you have done a really good job of keeping interest for wrestlers even if they lose consistently. That's definitely a hard thing to do. Very good job.

LPW Week 7
Lucky Number 8

[Non-Title Match]
The Nightmare Monsters (Abyss and Boogeyman) defeated Delirious and Petey Williams when Abyss pinned Delirious with the Black Hole Slam in 0:04:25.
Rating: ** 3/4
[Daizee Haze interfered against Boogeyman.]

The brand new Tag Team Champions, Delirious & Williams, looked more like tag team chumps tonight. If Delirious & Williams want to prove that they're championship win wasn't merely a fluke they will need to get their act together before their first title defense comes down the line. Meanwhile, The Nightmare Monsters looked more dominating than ever and this win gives them both incredible momentum heading into next week's tournament.

Afa Jr. pinned The Sandman after a fireman's carry facebuster in 0:02:40.
Rating: 3/4*

Afa Jr. looked very impressive heading into the LPW Championship Tournament next week with a quick and strong win over The Sandman.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Rene Dupree cut a promo saying that he is tired of being overlooked and that his past losses mean nothing. He goes on to say that after he beats Booker T he will win tonight's Battle Royal and go on to win the LPW Championship next week.

Booker T pinned Rene Dupree with the Axe Kick in 0:15:21.
Rating: **** 1/4

Dupree didn't exactly make good on one of his predictions by losing to Booker, but he did put on one hell of a match! Booker showed a lot of aggression throughout the match and following his post match promo, we know why.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Booker T cut a promo about the Tag Team Championship loss last week. He said while he and Palumbo have intentions of winning the belts back, his first agenda is shutting down the brash youngster, Josh Raymond. He then goes on to claim that after he wins the Battle Royal tonight, he will put Raymond out of the tournament before going on to win the LPW Championship.

Rocky Romero defeated Ted DiBiase by disqualification in 0:02:02.
Rating: * 3/4
[Lance Cade interfered against Rocky Romero.]

The Natural Connection couldn't get one over on the referee as Dibiase was promptly disqualified following Cade's interference. After arguing the decision they both agreed that the Battle Royal was more important tonight.

Danny Doring pinned Christian York with the Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am in 0:10:21.
Rating: * 1/2

Christian York's emotion's were running high as he has waited week's to get his hands on Doring. He was so bent on just punishing Doring that he was taken out of his element and paid for it. Doring was able to hit his finishing move and score the win but this feud is far from over.

Josh Raymond and Karl Anderson defeated Cactus Jack and New Jack when K. Anderson pinned Cactus Jack with the Spinebuster in 0:16:12.
Rating: *** 1/2

A big boost for Anderson as he scores the pinfall in this match involving four competitors in next week's tournament. After the referee raised Anderson's hand in victory, Raymond ran up from behind and hit a lung blower before raising his own hand in victory.

One half of the new Tag Team Champions, Petey Williams, secures the 8th and final spot in next week's LPW Championship Tournament! To everyone's surprise, the last person eliminated was Rene Dupree who looked very impressive. Join us next week as we crown the first LPW Champion!

Overall Rating: **1/2

Match of the Night: Booker T vs. Rene Dupree

Circuit Information:
Tonight Petey Williams earned the final spot in the LPW Championship Tournament by winning the Gauntlet Style Battle Royal. We will have a rundown of all 8 participants later this week.

Booker T looked rather aggressive tonight in his victory over Rene Dupree, but he nearly lost the match because his mind was elsewhere. Three weeks ago Josh Raymond defeated him in singles competition. Two weeks ago in a six-man tag team match, Raymond's team defeated Booker's team. And last week Raymond was the main reason Booker & Palumbo lost the Tag Team Championship. Booker is looking to get revenge against Raymond in one way or another.

The feud between Danny Doring and Christian York is still raging and a rematch contract between the two is already in the works. Doring has proudly bragged to anyone within earshot about his victory over York tonight and it's only added fuel to the fire between these two.

Matches announced for next week:

Preview for LPW Championship Tournament

#1 - Afa Jr.
He became the first man to qualify by defeating nemesis Rocky Romero. By forming an alliance with Danny Doring he has opened the eyes of many but time and time again he has proved that he doesn't need anyone to get the job done.

#2 - The Boogeyman
One half of The Nightmare Monsters and easily the most eccentric participant in the tournament. If he doesn't absolutely strike fear in his opponents, he's got the tools to finish them off in a variety of other ways.

#3 - "The Original Gangsta" New Jack
He has always made a name for himself as an extreme tag team wrestler, but he could easily change that depiction by winning the LPW Championship. Expect New Jack to bring his extreme style with him and it might just be enough to help him win the tournament.

#4 - Josh Raymond
His attitude isn't too popular with the fans but no one can deny that the young flyer has the potential to be the top guy in LPW. He's had an impressive streak lately and sent a message to everyone in the tournament after hitting a lung blower on Karl Anderson following their tag team win last week.

#5 - Cactus Jack
Already a legend in the sport, Cactus has held championships all across the world. Now he has his sights set on the LPW Championship. However, so far in LPW, he hasn't had much luck in his wars against Karl Anderson. There is the possibility of these two meeting at some point in the tournament and it will be interesting to see the outcome when the LPW Championship is at stake.

#6 - "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson
The self-proclaimed franchise of LPW, Anderson now has a chance to put his money where his mouth is. If he's as good as he says he is, which he may very will be, winning the tournament will prove his point. So far no one has escaped his brutal Spinebuster finish and he plans to mow everyone down in his path to the Championship.

#7 - "The Monster" Abyss
The other half of The Nightmare Monsters, Abyss has proven in the past in other promotions that he has the tools to be the best anywhere in the world. He may have the biggest advantage of all by being the largest man in the tournament.

#8 - Petey Williams
The final man to qualify by winning a 14 Man Gauntlet Style Battle Royal and also being one half of the Tag Team Champions, Williams has been drawing A LOT of attention since first appearing only 3 weeks ago! He has the tools, the momentum, and with luck on his side, it's possible he will have TWO Championships by the end of the tournament.
JoshiQPosted on 05/13/10 at 23:28:48

I really like it when people take the time to do previews. If people haven't been reading it gives them a chance to catch up, and if you have been reading get a nice little summary to refresh you. Good stuff. I'm looking forward to the tournament, and I'm hoping Anderson or Cactus takes it.

Another very interesting possibility is Petey Williams winning which could lead to an interesting angle with him also being Tag Champion.

LPW Week 8
LPW Championship Tournament

[Quarterfinals]
Karl Anderson pinned New Jack with the Spinebuster in 0:00:23.
Rating: *

An uneventful start to the tournament, but a huge boost for Karl Anderson. New Jack hit the ring in his usual fashion ready for a fight and unloaded quickly on Anderson but Anderson hit the Spinebuster from nowhere to abruptly end the match. This just shows how quick and powerful his Spinebuster really is.

[Quarterfinals]
Afa Jr. pinned Boogeyman with the Lights Out in 0:12:11.
Rating: **

If Afa Jr. hasn't turned any heads in LPW yet, he most certainly did with his victory over Boogeyman. Boogeyman was distraught following his loss and their was no post match worm eating ritual tonight.

[Quarterfinals]
Abyss pinned Josh Raymond with the Black Hole Slam in 0:09:06.
Rating: * 1/2

Raymond came into the match quite full of himself, but he had a tall task in front of him in the form of Abyss. To Raymond's credit he gave Abyss a run for his money but the Black Hole Slam proved to be too much for Raymond in the end.

[Quarterfinals]
Cactus Jack pinned Petey Williams after a flying legdrop in 0:04:40.
Rating: ***

A great match despite it being so short, but what it lacked it time it made up for in high energy. Cactus can still go and he can still take an enormous amount of punishment as we saw here when Petey dropped Jack on the concrete floor with a back suplex. Jack fought back and after countering a superplex he was able to pin Petey with a flying legdrop.

[Semifinals]
Karl Anderson pinned Afa Jr. with the Spinebuster in 0:05:19.
Rating: ** 1/4

Anderson was extremely rested going into this match while Afa was a bit exhausted from his match with Boogeyman. Afa got off to a good start and brutalized Anderson with strikes but just as New Jack did, Afa made a mistake and Anderson planted him with the Spinebuster.

[Semifinals]
Abyss pinned Cactus Jack with the Black Hole Slam in 0:04:35.
Rating: **

This match started with a brief brawl around ringside that really pulled the fans in. Cactus hit his signature flying elbow from the ring apron and nearly pinned Abyss with the double-arm DDT. After gaining his bearings, Abyss was able to finish off Cactus Jack and move on to the finals.

Backstage
Booker T. approaches Josh Raymond in the locker room area. Raymond steps back not wanting to fight, but Booker keeps his aggression under control. Booker simply points out the fact that Raymond lost and will NOT be leaving tonight the Champion. He reminds him that they have unfinished business. Raymond then reminds Booker that he has beaten him before and can do it again any time. Booker challenges Raymond for next week and Raymond accepts.

[Finals - Match for the vacant LPW Championship]
Abyss pinned Karl Anderson with the Black Hole Slam in 0:11:03.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Abyss won the LPW Championship.)

Here is your winner and NEW LPW Champion... ABYSS!!

Anderson was the favorite going into the finals because he had wrestled less earlier in the tournament and also had more rest before the last match. Despite this, Abyss would not be defeated. Anderson came close on many occasions but Abyss fought through everything and finished Anderson off the same way he finished everyone else in the tournament... with the Black Hole Slam!

Card Rating: **1/2

Match of the Night: Abyss vs. Karl Anderson

Circuit Information:
Abyss Black Hole Slammed his way all the way to victory tonight! He proved himself worthy by defeating Josh Raymond, Cactus Jack, and finally Karl Anderson to become the very first LPW Champion! And just minutes following the end of the show Karl Anderson was already demanding a rematch for the Championship and Abyss has accepted!

Booker T is looking to settle the score with Josh Raymond and the two will collide one-on-one next week!

Christian York and Danny Doring will do battle once again and they're bringing familiar friends along for the ride. Next week, Doring & Afa Jr. team up to face Christian York & Rocky Romero, only this time the stakes are high as the winning team will go on to wrestle for the LPW Tag Team Championship in 2 weeks! Both teams have met before and tensions have always been high when these 4 men are involved.

In last week's Battle Royal, Petey Williams lastly eliminated Rene Dupree to win and earn a spot tonight's tournament. Dupree is still fuming over his missed opportunity and has challenged Williams to a match next week.

The Boogeyman has quit effective immediately. We wish him well in his future endeavors.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Championship Match - Abyss (c) vs. Karl Anderson
** Top Contenders Match - Christian York & Rocky Romero vs. Danny Doring & Afa Jr.
** Booker T vs. Josh Raymond
** Rene Dupree vs. Petey Williams
JoshiQPosted on 05/18/10 at 15:15:39

Abyss taking the title makes sense, and it should give him a boost. I was a little surprised that Anderson didn't win it all, but this will give him a nice chase for the title.

Oh, and kind of glad to see Boogeyman quit. He's one of those guys I just never got in to, and he's definitely a hard guy to book. Plus the whole worm thing is just disgusting. :)

LPW Week 9
Into the Black Hole

Promo > In Ring
Karl Anderson began the night saying that with a full week of rest he would show everyone that Abyss' LPW Championship victory was a fluke. He then challenged Abyss to come to the ring so he could tell him face to face. The LPW Champion did not hesitate coming to the ring and facing Anderson. Anderson had a few words for "The Monster" before slapping him across the face. Abyss grabbed Anderson by the throat to the crowds delight, but Anderson responded with a kick to the groin crumpling the Champion. Anderson then brutally attacked Abyss with a steel chair before officials finally pulled him off.

[Number One Contenders Match]
Christian York and Rocky Romero defeated Afa Jr. and Danny Doring when York pinned Jr. with the Inverted Cross in 0:12:46.
Rating: **

No love loss here as these four men have been feuding since the beginning of LPW. York would have loved to get the pin on Doring but Afa Jr. was always close by to save him. In the end, with Doring already down and out, York nailed Afa Jr. with the Inverted Cross for the win. York & Romero have won the right to challenge for the Tag Team Championship next week!

The Sandman pinned Austin Aries after a spinebuster slam in 0:00:36.
Rating: *

It's obvious that Austin Aries has not found his stride in LPW... and hasn't even come close to finding it. The Sandman's ring entrance was longer than the match itself. Aries could only walk away disgusted with himself following the loss.

Rene Dupree defeated Petey Williams when Petey Williams passed out in the Bonne Nuit in 0:04:57.
Rating: ****

Rene Dupree is really turning heads in the past few weeks! This week he gets a big win over one half of the Tag Team Champions in an incredible match-up!

The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) defeated Cactus Jack and Sabu when DiBiase pinned Cactus Jack after a powerslam in 0:08:04.
Rating: ** 1/2

It looks like The Natural Connection may be starting to turn their luck around. Tonight they beat a formidable duo in Sabu and Cactus Jack. Bill Alfonso lectured Cactus & Sabu while TNC celebrated their victory.

Chuck Palumbo pinned Delirious with the Full Throttle in 0:08:21.
Rating: *** 1/4

The LPW Tag Team Champions, Delirious & Petey Williams, have shown that as team, they can be unstoppable, but in singles competition, they don't have much luck. Meanwhile, their opponents have looked impressive and will be rewarded for their big singles victories tonight.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
William Regal came to the ring and put himself over as usual. He then went on to say that there is a man in the back who does not have an LPW contract and is therefore disrespecting him and LPW by being there. He then challenged the man to come out and have the respect beaten into him.

William Regal pinned Homicide after a dragon suplex in 0:07:06.
Rating: ** 1/2

It's Homicide!! Apparently Homicide was just visiting friends and had no intentions of wrestling tonight but he also couldn't just let Regal run his mouth. Homicide answered Regal's challenge and wrestled in his street clothes. After giving Regal a run for his money, Homicide failed to kick out of a dragon suplex. Regal left the ring with a smug look on his face.

Booker T pinned Josh Raymond with the Axe Kick in 0:05:22.
Rating: **** 1/4
[Sharmell interfered against Josh Raymond.]

Booker couldn't wait to get his hands on Raymond. Booker showed more aggression than what we're used to. The fight spilled to the floor where Raymond ducked behind Sharmell and shoved her into Booker. This only enraged Booker more who went on to defeat Raymond with the Axe Kick.

Your Main Event:
Karl Anderson pinned Abyss with the Spinebuster in 0:08:44.
Rating: **
(Karl Anderson won the LPW Championship.)

Here is your winner... and NEW LPW CHAMPION....KARL ANDERSON!

Earlier in the night, Anderson baited Abyss into a fight and used a steel chair to weaken the Champion. When Abyss limped out for the main event he had a look in his eye of revenge, but the damage from earlier was obvious. Abyss was weakened before the match even started and Anderson took every opening and cheap shot he could to dethrone Abyss. After hitting the Spinebuster to become the NEW LPW Champion, Anderson stood over Abyss with the belt raised high in the air while the fans showered him with boos.

Overall Rating: ***

Match of the Night: Booker T vs. Josh Raymond

Circuit Information:
LPW has a new Champion just one week after crowning our first Champion. No one expected Karl Anderson to win tonight but Anderson proved he is a very smart wrestler and while many don't agree with his actions, he is still the NEW LPW Champion.

Christian York & Rocky Romero have won the right to challenge for the LPW Tag Team Championship and they're doing so next week. The Tag Team Champions, Petey Williams & Delirious, need to get their act together. They haven't been very successful since the day they won the belts, but they have insured us they will retain next week.

Speaking of Williams & Delirious, they were defeated in singles competition tonight by Rene Dupree and Chuck Palumbo. Now Dupree and Palumbo will battle it out next week in a Top Contendors Match!

Homicide was reeled into a match tonight by William Regal. He wasn't dressed to wrestle but still defended himself and put on a great match. Though still not under contract, Homicide has requested a rematch with William Regal. Regal has accepted saying that under no circumstances could Homicide ever defeat him.

Also announced for next week, New Jack & The Sandman will face the duo of Danny Doring & Afa Jr. All this and more next week!

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match: Petey Williams & Delirious (c) vs. Christian York & Rocky Romero
** Top Contendors Match: Rene Dupree vs. Chuck Palumbo
** New Jack & The Sandman vs. Danny Doring & Afa Jr.
** Homicide vs. William Regal
JoshiQPosted on 05/20/10 at 22:20:20

Poor Aries. Glad to see Sandman get a win though.

I laughed at Alfonso "lecturing" Sabu and Cactus Jack. That sounds like something I'd pay to see. :) I'm also really happy to see the Natural Connection get a win. Especially over some big names.

Homicide should fit in well with your roster if you decide to keep him on.

Anderson's chase for the title sure didn't take long. I hope he can hold on to the title for awhile now, but I also think you should keep his feud going on with Abyss. It could be a nice feud to get you past the first couple of months.

Anyways, still enjoying LPW. I hope Anderson has a nice, lengthy reign.

[Number-One-Contenders-Match]
Chuck Palumbo defeated Rene Dupree by disqualification in 0:02:28.
Rating: * 1/4
[Brian Kendrick interfered against Chuck Palumbo.]

As this match was just picking up steam, Brian Kendrick came to ringside. Kendrick has been out for nearly 2 months with an injury he suffered during a match with Rene Dupree. Kendrick tripped Palumbo and pulled him out of the ring causing the disqualification. But after Palumbo was announced as the winner of the match, Kendrick calmly turned and walked back to the locker room. Palumbo wasn't sure what to make of it all, but Dupree was furious. He had just lost his shot at the LPW Championship.

Cactus Jack defeated Ted DiBiase by disqualification in 0:02:17.
Rating: **
[Lance Cade interfered against Cactus Jack.]

Another match, another disqualification. The Natural Connection put a beating on Cactus Jack following the match until Sabu came to the rescue. TNC fled the ring before Sabu could get ahold of either of them.

New Jack and The Sandman defeated Afa Jr. and Danny Doring when New Jack pinned Jr. with the 187 in 0:09:47.
Rating: * 1/2

As expected, this was a brawl from beginning to end. The resilient Afa Jr. took a lot of punishment but fought hard to try to ensure a victory for his team. In the end, with Doring on the receiving end of a Singapore Cane shot from The Sandman, Afa Jr. fell at the hands of New Jack and a steel chair.

Promo > In Ring
LPW Champion Karl Anderson came to the ring to talk about his triumphant win over Abyss last week. As he was finishing up, Chuck Palumbo came to ringside. Anderson invited him in the ring, but Palumbo chose to stay on the floor. He said he won't fall for the same tricks that Abyss did and next week, Anderson will be in for the ride of his life when he defends the Championship against him.

Lance Cade defeated Sabu by disqualification in 0:09:49.
Rating: ** 3/4
[Bill Alfonso and Cactus Jack interfered against Lance Cade.]

Cactus Jack hit the ring with a vengeance as he laid into Cade with elbows. Alfonso cheered him on with his whistle and soon enough Sabu was joining in on the fun. Finally Ted Dibiase stormed the ringside area and pulled Cade out of the ring to the safety.

Austin Aries pinned Booker T after hitting him with a baseball bat in 0:01:47.
Rating: ** 1/4
[Josh Raymond interfered against Booker T.]

The story of the night seems to be outside interference! Josh Raymond and Booker T's feud is still alive and well as Raymond assists Aries in a victory tonight. While distracting the referee, Raymond slid a baseball bat into the ring and Aries put down Booker with one solid shot to the gut. Aries celebrated as if he had actually won the World Series. Raymond climbed into the ring as Aries celebrated back to the locker room.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Josh Raymond got on the microphone and belittled Booker T as Booker fought to catch his breath from the baseball bat shot. Sharmell had heard enough as she got in Raymond's face and slapped him. Raymond then chased her out of the ring and caught her at ringside. He threw her over his shoulder and began walking to the locker room area with her. Booker went after him but was cut-off in the aisleway by an unknown wrestler! Raymond dropped Sharmell to the ground and joined in on the stomping with the mysterious wrestler. The two left together with their hands raised high as Sharmell checked on her battered husband.

William Regal pinned Homicide after a rollover in 0:12:30.
Rating: *** 1/4

This time Homicide was in his usual wrestling gear and was ready to get it on. Regal was obviously unprepared for how well Homicide could actually wrestle as Homicide wrestled circles around him in the beginning. When Regal started getting serious, he started getting vicious. It was back and forth until the end of the bell and following a Homicide flying crossbody, Regal rolled through and held the tights for the victory.

Petey Williams and Delirious defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when Delirious defeated R. Romero by countout in 0:14:16.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Petey Williams and Delirious retained the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

Unfortunately this Tag Team Championship match ended on a countout. Delirious risked it all and hit Shadows Over Hell on the concrete floor. York desperately tried to help Romero into the ring, but Romero was unresponsive. Williams & Delirious retain!

Overall Rating: **1/2

Match of the Night: William Regal vs. Homicide

Circuit Information:
Next week Karl Anderson defends the LPW Championship against Chuck Palumbo. Palumbo won a Top Contendors Match tonight against Rene Dupree, but not without the help, or non-help, from Brian Kendrick. Following that match, Dupree searched high and low in the locker room for Brian Kendrick but he was no where to be found.

A tag team match has been signed next week pitting The Natural Connection against Sabu & Cactus Jack. Tonight TNC tried to send a message by putting a post match beating on Cactus Jack, but Jack & Sabu retaliated later in the evening. Next week, these teams collide!

Josh Raymond's mystery wrestler has been identified as Christian Able. Together they are known as The House of Truth. And together, they put a beating on Booker T tonight. Following the baseball bat shot Booker took during his match and the beating he received afterwards at the hands of The House of Truth, Booker required immediate medical attention.

William Regal once again picked up a win over Homicide, but this match was much more competitive and only with a handful of tights, Regal won again. Regal now has 2 victories over Homicide. But Homicide has issued a challenge in an effort to even the score. Next week, Homicide and Regal square off in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match!

Homicide and Christian Able have signed contracts with LPW.

Match Announced for Next Week:
** LPW Championship Match: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Chuck Palumbo
** 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Homicide vs. William Regal
** The Natural Connection vs. Sabu & Cactus Jack

LPW Week 11
The Ride of Your Life

[Two-out-of-three-Falls Match]
William Regal beat Homicide 2 falls to 1:
x W. Regal beat Homicide via his special move in 0:15:20
x Homicide beat W. Regal via countout in 0:17:00
x W. Regal beat Homicide via the Knee Trembler in 0:19:28
Rating: ***

Regal was on the verge of going down a fall when he reached into his boot and pulled out brass knuckles, nailing Homicide behind the refs back, and securing the first fall. Homicide was in a daze and the referee contemplated throwing the match out but Homicide wouldn't let that happen. When he got to his feet, he viciously attacked Regal sending Regal outside of the ring where Regal threw a fall away by being counted out. In the last minute and a half, Regal and Homicide exchanged near falls with Regal finally hitting the Knee Trembler for the win.

The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when C. Able pinned R. Romero after a side step in 0:06:41.
Rating: *** 1/4

The House of Truth looked good in their first official match as a tag team. They handily defeated the previous Top Tag Team Contenders when Romero missed a missile dropkick from the top rope. Following the match, Sharmell made an appearance.

Post Match Promo > Entranceway
Sharmell interrupted The House of Truths celebration when she came out to Booker T's music. With a microphone in hand, she talked about being disgusted at The House of Truth actions towards her husband, Booker T. She went on to warn them that next week when he returns, House of Truth will regret ever crossing the line with Booker T!

Abyss pinned Rene Dupree with the Black Hole Slam in 0:12:07.
Rating: **

Dupree came to the ring and made a challenge to Brian Kendrick. Kendrick came out and addressed the challenge, but declined because he has already signed on for match later tonight. Instead, ABYSS would be accepting the challenge! Abyss returned this week and in a very competitive match was able to defeat Dupree.

Austin Aries pinned The Sandman after a somersault slam in 0:06:00.
Rating: **

Aries stays on track tonight with his second win in a row. The Sandman defeated Aries 2 weeks ago in just over 30 seconds, but tonight Aries made sure that didn't happen again.

Backstage
As Aries comes through the curtain William Regal is standing by to greet him. He puts his arm around Aries' shoulder and says he has something to discuss with him as they walk off.

[Triangle Match]
Petey Williams defeated Afa Jr. and Brian Kendrick when P. Williams defeated Jr.
by countout in 0:03:37.
Rating: * 3/4
[Rene Dupree interfered against Brian Kendrick.]

Unfortunately this match ended before it really began. Just minutes into it Rene Dupree pulled Kendrick off the ring apron and the two battled on the floor and back to the locker room area. This just left Afa Jr. and Petey Williams. The match spilled to the floor where Afa went for a headbutt off the ring apron, but Petey moved and rolled back into the ring. The referee had no choice but to count out the unconscious Samoan.

New Jack pinned Danny Doring with the 187 in 0:05:18.
Rating: * 3/4

Doring looked to be well on his way to victory until New Jack introduced a ring bell to the match. And with the ringbell New Jack laid out Doring and then used the ring bell to assist with the 187. As soon as the match ended, Afa Jr. hit the ring and attacked New Jack. Doring added in a few stomps before The Sandman came to New Jack rescue and cleared the ring; Doring hightailing it out while Afa Jr. took a Singapore Cane shot to the back and flew out of the ring. Doring swore revenge as he held Afa Jr. back.

Cactus Jack and Sabu defeated The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) when Sabu pinned Cade with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:19:05.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Bill Alfonso interfered against Ted DiBiase.]

A nice little rivalry has developed between these two teams and it added a bit of fuel to the fire for this match. Sabu got a hot tag from Cactus Jack and cleaned house until it was just him and Cade in the ring. With Dibiase occupied on the outside with Cactus Jack, Sabu was able to hit the Triple Jump Moonsault for the win.

Your Main Event:
[LPW Championship Match]
Karl Anderson pinned Chuck Palumbo after a legsweep in 0:13:17.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Karl Anderson retained the LPW Championship.)

A lot of people questioned Palumbo's right as Top Contender following the tainted finish of last week's Top Contender's Match. But tonight Palumbo showed everyone that he does in fact belong at the top of the card. He gave Anderson a run for his money, and maybe even the ride of his life, and almost walked away with the LPW Championship. It was just one small mistake made by Palumbo that opened an opportunity for Anderson. As Palumbo winded up for the tornado punch, Anderson legsweeped him and with his feet on the second rope Anderson was able to pin Palumbo's shoulders to the mat.

Overall: **1/2

Match of the Night: Cactus Jack & Sabu vs. The Natural Connection

Circuit Information:
Karl Anderson successfully defended his LPW Championship tonight in a close match against Chuck Palumbo. The Champion is not scheduled for action next week but he assured everyone that he will grace us with his presence.

The Natural Connection have convinced each other that they're tougher than Cactus Jack & Sabu. So tough in fact that Lance Cade has challenged Sabu to a Towel Match! Since Cactus Jack has taken Sabu to his limits so many times in the past he will be Sabu's corner man. Ted Dibiase will be Cade's corner man.

Not long after his loss to New Jack tonight, Danny Doring let everyone know that New Jack could not have won without using a weapon. He talked about how he is sick and tired of the officials being lenient with the rules when New Jack or The Sandman are involved because they're "hardcore". In fact, he has said Afa Jr. could beat both of them by himself if they didn't have access to weapons. We'll find out next week as The Sandman & New Jack have accepted that challenge.

Rene Dupree and Brian Kendrick will finally meet one-on-one for the first time since Kendrick was put on the shelf by Dupree with a knee injury. Kendrick returned two weeks ago and cost Dupree a title shot, and then this week Dupree got involved in Kendrick's match. These two will settle their differences next week!

Sharmell warned The House of Truth tonight that next week Booker was returning with a vengeance! Christian Able is welcoming a fight next week and the two are scheduled for a match. Josh Raymond will surely be near by, and if not, Booker T might just go looking for him!

With his recent string of victories lately, William Regal has earned the right to challenge for a Championship. He is good friends with Karl Anderson and will not challenge the LPW Champion. Instead, he is going for the Tag Team Championship and he has chosen Austin Aries as his partner. Aries was ecstatic by Regal's proposition and Regal seems fairly sure that the duo will become the next Champions.

Matches Announced for Next Week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match: Petey Williams & Delirious (c) vs. William Regal & Austin Aries
** Towel Match: Sabu w/Cactus Jack vs. Lance Cade w/Ted Dibiase
** Handicap Match: New Jack & The Sandman vs. Afa Jr.
** Rene Dupree vs. Brian Kendrick
** Booker T vs. Christian Able
JoshiQPosted on 05/27/10 at 22:17:21

It's pretty sad to see Homicide coming in and getting hit with the "job bug" so fast. At least it's for the benefit of Regal who I hope continues his luck.

It's also good to see Anderson hold on to his title. Hopefully he can hold on to it for awhile.

You continue to produce the goods.

LPW Week 12
Extraordinary Men Doing Extraordinary Things

Pre Show Promo > In Ring
LPW Champion Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson was in the ring putting himself over when he was confronted by Homicide. Homicide agreed that he hasn't earned an opportunity at Anderson's Championship, but he does feel that he can prove himself worthy of a shot if given the chance. Anderson laughs and says he will give him a Non-Title Match later tonight just to show him that he isn't even close to becoming a contender for the LPW Championship.

[Towel Match]
Lance Cade (w/Ted Dibiase) defeated Sabu (w/Cactus Jack) in 0:14:44.
Rating: ***

This was a very physical match from start to finish. The corner men, Cactus Jack and Ted Dibiase, exchanged insults from across the ring but neither of them got involved in the action. In the end, with Sabu bleeding and clutching his neck, his last ditch effort was an attempt to put Cade through a table with a flying legdrop, but Cade moved out of the way! Sabu was hurt and Alfonso urged Cactus Jack to throw in the towel which he did, reluctantly. The Natural Connection celebrated in the ring until Cactus had seen enough. He stormed the ring and landed a couple of right hands before TNC rolled out of the ring. They still had smiles on their faces as they headed for the locker room area.

Abyss pinned Danny Doring with the Black Hole Slam in 0:14:03.
Rating: ** 1/2

A far more competitive match than what we thought we would see. Doring did a good job of outwitting "The Monster" and had all the confidence in the world. He made the cardinal mistake of taking too long to put Abyss away and Abyss was able to hit the Black Hole Slam for the win.

Pre Match Promo > Backstage
Booker T is backstage talking with Sharmell. He tells Sharmell she needs to stay in the back. After what happened two weeks ago when Josh Raymond picked her up and started carrying her away, Booker doesn't want to take any chances of something like that happening again.

Booker T defeated Christin Able by countout in 0:03:37.
Rating: ** 1/4

Tonight we saw a different Booker T than what we're used to. He was in attack mode as soon as he hit the ring and he basically beat the hell out of Christin Able with no remorse. After 3 and half minutes, Able was unable to get back to his feet, let alone back in the ring, and was counted out.

Rene Dupree made Brian Kendrick submit to the Bonne Nuit in 0:14:49.
Rating: **** 1/4

What an incredible match this turned out to be! Dupree really wanted to get at Kendrick for costing him a shot at the LPW Championship and Kendrick was looking for revenge for an injury that put him on the shelf for a couple of months. In the end, Kendrick fought hard to escape the Bonne Nuit (cobra clutch), but Dupree was too strong. The referee ended the match but Dupree didn't let go of the submission. It was obvious Dupree was trying to injure Kendrick for good this time. It took numerous officials to finally pull Dupree off.

Backstage
Booker T is shown stomping through the halls in the back shouting Sharmell's name. Apparently Sharmell has disappeared. He pushes officials out of the way as he makes a bee-line towards The House of Truth's dressing room. It's locked but he kicks it down anyway. Inside, Booker T pounces on Raymond with a fury. Able isn't much help because of the beating he took earlier. Soon Chuck Palumbo and officials are able to pull Booker T away while he questions The House of Truth about Sharmell.

[Handicap-Match]
Afa Jr. defeated New Jack and The Sandman when Jr. pinned New Jack after a fireman's carry facebuster in 0:05:46.
Rating: * 1/2

Last week Danny Doring claimed that New Jack & The Sandman were nothing without weapons. Tonight, Afa Jr. may have verified Doring's claim as he single-handedly defeated the duo in a pure wrestling contest.

[Non-Title Match]
Homicide defeated Karl Anderson by disqualification in 0:03:14.
Rating: *

Homicide came out to the match as a house afire that "The Machine Gun" wasn't prepared for. Anderson resorted to a desperate tactic by pulling the referee in front of Homicide's clothesline to slow his momentum. From there, another official took over until the original referee came to and DQ'd Anderson.

Your Main Event:
[LPW Tag Team Championship Match]
Austin Aries and William Regal defeated Petey Williams and Delirious when W. Regal pinned P. Williams with the Knee Trembler in 0:17:14.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Austin Aries and William Regal won the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS... AND NEW LPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!

Last week William Regal learned he would get a title shot, and in only a week's time the alliance between himself and Austin Aries formed into an alliance worthy of becoming NEW LPW Tag Team Champions! This was an incredibly close match and the fans were on the edge of their seats from start to finish. With Delirious and Aries brawling on the floor, Regal was able to catch Petey with the Knee Trembler and the win. As Regal & Aries carried the belts on their shoulders, Delirious & Petey extended their hands in respect. Regal & Aries looked at each other, then looked at the extended hands, then backed away and left the ring.

Overall: ** 3/4

Match of the Night: Austin Aries & William Regal vs. Petey Williams & Delirious / Rene Dupree vs. Brian Kendrick

Circuit Information:
Tonight we crowned new LPW Tag Team Champions in William Regal & Austin Aries. They also showed no respect for Petey Williams & Delirious when they refused to shake their hands after the match. In a post-match interview, Regal & Aries said there was no doubt ever that they were the better tag team and that the former Champions did nothing to earn their respect.

Karl Anderson's actions tonight may come back to haunt him next week. The Board of Directors have named Homicide the Top Contender after his DQ victory over Anderson and next week Homicide challenges for the LPW Championship!

New Jack & The Sandman agreed to face Afa Jr. in a match where they couldn't use weapons and they lost. But next week, they get a match under THEIR rules. New Jack & The Sandman face Afa Jr. AND Danny Doring in a No-DQ Falls Count Anywhere Match!

Lance Cade is feeling rather confident after his win tonight over Sabu. He has challenged former LPW Champion, Abyss! Cade says they have unfinished business from a couple months ago when Abyss defeated Cade in an LPW Championship Tournament Qualifying Match.

Brian Kendrick was furious about Rene Dupree continuing to punish him after he submitted and accepted defeat. He said Dupree made his point by outwrestling him and submitting him, but that he crossed the line by trying to put him out of action again. A rematch has been signed and Kendrick has promised to get revenge!

As of this writing, there is no word on the whereabouts of Booker T's wife Sharmell. Booker T has challenged House of Truth to a match next week with Chuck Palumbo as his tag team partner. They have vowed to beat the truth out of The House of Truth!

Matches Announced for next week:
** LPW Championship Match: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Homicide
** No-DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Match: New Jack & The Sandman vs. Afa Jr. & Danny Doring
** Lance Cade vs. Abyss
** Rene Dupree vs. Brian Kendrick
** The House of Truth vs. Booker T & Chuck Palumbo
JoshiQPosted on 06/02/10 at 19:36:01

- Cade and DiBiase sure have picked it up as of late which I'm happy about. I am looking forward to them in the main event scene soon, but it probably can't happen until Anderson drops the title (which I hope isn't for awhile.)

- Homicide is making quite the comeback after the first couple of shows he was on. It would be nice to see him put up a good fight against Anderson, but I don't think he is quite ready for the title.

- Regal and Aries not shaking hands at the end of the match sure does look good for a rematch or two. I'm looking forward to that.

- Poor New Jack and Sandman.

- And you have a nice angle brewing with Booker T and Sharmell. Can't wait to see what happened to her.

- Another well run card, and you are doing a very good job of running with what TNM gives you.

** LPW Championship Match: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Homicide: I'm hoping Anderson pulls this one off, too early for him to drop the title.

** No-DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Match: New Jack & The Sandman vs. Afa Jr. & Danny Doring: Well, since Afa Jr won a handi-cap match I'm guessing he and Doring win this match as well. The feud would work better if New Jack and Sandman pulled this one off, however.

** Lance Cade vs. Abyss: Go Cade!
** Rene Dupree vs. Brian Kendrick: Hmm....I'll go with Kendrick.
** The House of Truth vs. Booker T & Chuck Palumbo: And I'll go with the House of Truth when something happens with Sharmell.

LPW Week 13
The Fellowship of the Ring

[No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Match]
Afa Jr. and Danny Doring defeated New Jack and The Sandman when Jr. pinned New Jack after a small package in 0:21:49.
Rating: * 1/2

This match had extreme written all over it! These four men battled from pillar to post, in the back of the arena, through the crowd, and even into the balcony seats where the match would end. Below the balcony The Sandman had laid the bloody Doring on a table as New Jack was preparing one of his signature dives. But Afa Jr. acted quickly preventing Doring from certain injury and winning the match for his team!

Abyss pinned Lance Cade with the Black Hole Slam in 0:13:11.
Rating: ** 1/2

These two are no strangers to each other as they have met in singles competition THREE times in the past. Of the 3 matches, Abyss holds the only clean victory as he once won by disqualification, and Cade won once by way of countout. With Cade's recent victory over Sabu in a Tables Match, he came into this match loaded with confidence and nearly defeated the former LPW Champion. In the end the Black Hole Slam claimed Lance Cade once again.

Austin Aries, William Regal and Ted DiBiase defeated Petey Williams, Delirious and Cactus Jack when DiBiase made Delirious submit to a sleeperhold in 0:10:35.
Rating: ** 1/2

The match broke down in the end leaving Dibiase and Delirious in the ring while the other four battled on the floor. The referee was all over the place trying to get control and he didn't see Regal slide his Tag Team Championship belt to Dibiase who promptly used it on Delirious knocking him silly. Dibiase then cinched in a sleeperhold and the referee checked Delirious' arm three times before ending the match.

Post Match
The Tag Team Champions, Aries & Regal, continued to punish Petey Williams after the match. Meanwhile, Lance Cade joined his partner, Ted Dibiase, in some additional punishment for Cactus Jack as well. Cactus's manager, Bill Alfonso, ran to the back and when he returned to ringside he was holding a BARBED WIRE BASEBALL BAT! As Alfonso tossed it to Cactus Jack, The Natural Connection and the Tag Team Champions hightailed it to the locker room area.

Rene Dupree made Brian Kendrick submit to the Bonne Nuit in 0:12:19.
Rating: *** 3/4

Brian Kendrick showed a lot of aggression in this match as he looked for revenge on Dupree. To Dupree's credit, he weathered the storm and was able to capitalize when Kendrick showed some sign of fatigue. In the end, with everything left in him, Dupree slapped on the Bonne Nuit and forced Kendrick to submit once again. This time, however, with no more fight left in him, Dupree released the hold as soon as the bell rang.

The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) defeated Booker T and Chuck Palumbo when J. Raymond pinned C. Palumbo after the lung blower in 0:14:27.
Rating: *** 3/4
[Sharmell interfered against Booker T.]

Chuck Palumbo & Booker T came to the ring without Sharmell as Booker has yet to find out where his missing wife has gone. In the middle of the match, however, Sharmell made an appearance. To the surprise of everyone, she wasn't outfitted in a nice dress, but rather goth looking attire. And in an even bigger surprise, she aided The House of Truth in a victory over her husband! Following the lung blower on Palumbo which ended the match, The House of Truth began a beatdown on Booker T at the command of Sharmell. Sharmell has aligned with The House of Truth, but why?

Your Main Event:

Homicide defeated Karl Anderson by disqualification in 0:09:30.
Rating: **
(Karl Anderson retained the LPW Championship.)

HERE IS YOUR WINNER... HOMICIDE! However, the belt CANNOT change hands on a disqualification. THEREFORE... STILL LPW CHAMPION... KARL ANDERSON!

Last week, Anderson was disqualified for using the referee as a shield. Now this week, with the Championship on the line, Anderson used his favorite weapon, a steel chair, to lay out Homicide and get disqualified again. Homicide was on the verge of becoming the Champion. The fans in attendance knew it and Karl Anderson knew it. After the announcement was made that he was still the Champion, Anderson grabbed his Championship belt and clutching it to his chest as hard as possible, walked to the locker room area content with what he had done.

Overall: ***

Match of the Night: Rene Dupree vs. Brian Kendrick / The House of Truth vs. Booker T & Chuck Palumbo

Circuit Information:
Tonight, we saw just how desperate Karl Anderson is to keep his LPW Championship as he got himself disqualified for using a steel chair. The chair shot was so vicious that Homicide was in no condition for comments after the show. Meanwhile, Karl Anderson has claimed Homicide never even deserved a shot at his Championship and that he did LPW a favor by preventing a degenerate like Homicide from representing the company as Champion.

Sharmell shocked everyone tonight with her appearance and her decision to join The House of Truth against her very own husband Booker T. Sharmell has said that ever since coming to LPW, Booker T has ignored her and embarrassed her. With The House of Truth she feels accepted. She has said this is the nail in the coffin and that Booker T needs to move on. She is now in charge of The House of Truth's contracts and she refuses to sign off on any challenge Booker makes to The House of Truth. Instead, The House of Truth will lock up next week with the hardcore icons, New Jack & The Sandman!

The team of Delirious & Petey Williams are invoking their rematch clause next week and will challenge for the LPW Tag Team Championship. Aries & Regal admit they're surprised that Petey & Delirious would ever want to get in the ring with them again, but they will be more than happy to hand them another defeat.

Cactus Jack is fed up with The Natural Connection. He has challenged Lance Cade to a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Match next week! Lance Cade defeated Sabu in a Towel Match last week and next week he says he will prove that Cactus Jack is just as washed up as Sabu is.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match: William Regal & Austin Aries (c) vs. Petey Williams & Delirious
** Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Match: Cactus Jack vs. Lance Cade
** The House of Truth vs. New Jack & The Sandman

Glad to see another card posted. Was getting worried that you might have dropped it. :)

Good stuff again. Sharmell joining the House of Truth should be interesting. I'm wondering if you'll explain it later or not.

The Homicide-Anderson stuff is really good. I hope you keep up their feud as it really has my interest.

Keep up the good work.
JoshiQPosted on 06/18/10 at 17:31:19

Vertigo, you ever give any thought to posting your circuit on the 3:16 boards? There seem to be quite a few people posting there now. You might think about posting on both this board and 3:16. You'd probably increase your readers by quite a bit because this is a good circuit.
VertigoPosted on 06/18/10 at 22:22:06

Joshi, thanks for the comments as always. I went on vacation for a week and stayed as far away from computers as possible.

As far as the 3:16 boards, I didn't really think about it. When I started posting LPW here I didn't realize the 3:16 boards had as many active members/circuits. Maybe I will start posting cards over with my next update.

LPW Week 14
Knock-down, Drag-out

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
The team of Chuck Palumbo & Booker T came to the ring for the opening tag match. It was obvious that Booker was not himself and still feeling the effects of the betrayal of his wife. Palumbo got on the microphone and said some encouraging words and also urged the fans to support Booker, which they did with a "Booker T" chant. This got Booker all fired up and he was ready for action!

Afa Jr. and Danny Doring defeated Chuck Palumbo and Booker T when Doring pinned C. Palumbo after a flying bodypress in 0:14:16.
Rating: ** 1/2

Afa Jr. & Doring isolated Palumbo for most of the match until he made the hot tag to Booker. Booker came in and cleaned house. He nailed Doring with the Axe Kick and followed it up with the Spin-a-roonie. Except when he finished, he looked at his hand for a long time. He dropped his arms to the side and looked out to the crowd. Then he walked over and tagged in his partner and walked out on the match. Palumbo, who was already exhausted, was easy pickings for Doring & Afa Jr. after that. Booker's head is obviously not in the game in anymore.

Christian York and Ted DiBiase battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: ** 1/4

An exceptionally competitive match that went the distance. The crowd was solidly behind Christian York who really shined in this one. Perhaps these two will fight another day and maybe then we will get a true winner.

Abyss pinned Giant Bernard with the Black Hole Slam in 0:05:40.
Rating: ** 1/2

A surprise to everyone in attendance when GIANT BERNARD showed up to face "The Monster" Abyss! If anyone in wrestling can match size, strength, and utter brutality with Abyss it's Giant Bernard! But in tonight's battle of giants, Abyss puts Bernard away with an earth-shaking Black Hole Slam!

Rene Dupree defeated Sabu by countout in 0:05:40.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Bill Alfonso interfered against Rene Dupree.]

Not a long match, but an exciting match! The end came when Dupree retreated outside of the ring for a breather. Alfonso slid a chair in to Sabu who promptly set it up and used it as a springboard to dive onto Dupree. However, Dupree side stepped Sabu and Sabu crashed hard on the floor. Dupree then locked on his Bonne Nuit submission laying Sabu out on the floor and winning by countout.

The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) defeated New Jack and The Sandman when C. Able defeated New Jack via pinfall in 0:10:18.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Sharmell interfered against New Jack.]

The House of Truth and their new manager, Sharmell, were accompanied by a pack of bodyguards. Sharmell ordered the security to make sure that Booker T gets no where near her or her team. House of Truth pick up the win by pinning New Jack. After the match Sharmell got on the microphone.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Sharmell cut a promo on Booker T running him down and telling everyone that not only has he disappointed her in the ring, but he has disappointed her as a husband. This brought Booker out but he was blocked from the ring by Sharmell's bodyguards. Chuck Palumbo also came out to restrain his friend. Sharmell goes on to say that LPW isn't big enough for the both of them and that one day, sooner than later, she will drive Booker T out of LPW and out of her life for good.

[Non-Title Match]
Rocky Romero and Karl Anderson battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: *** 1/4

The second time limit draw of the night. Romero showed tonight that he should not be looked over as a top competitor in LPW. After the match, Romero extended his hand in a sign of respect. To everyone's surprise, Anderson responded by shaking his hand! Then Anderson's true colors shined through as he pulled Romero in and gave him a brutal Spinebuster! Anderson then grabbed a chair from ringside and was getting ready to smash in Romero's skull until HOMICIDE ran from the locker room area to make the save!

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Karl Anderson dropped the chair and slid out of the ring before Homicide could get to him. Homicide got on the microphone and called Anderson a coward. He reminded everyone that Anderson wouldn't be LPW Champion if he didn't take the cowardly way out by using a steel chair to get himself DQ'd last week. He went on to say that he deserves at least one more chance. He then challenged Anderson to a LADDER MATCH and added that if he can't beat him he would never challenge Anderson for the Championship again. Anderson thought it over before accepting!

[Barbed Wire Bat No-DQ-Match]
Cactus Jack pinned Lance Cade with the Double Arm DDT in 0:12:02.
Rating: ** 3/4

This match was a blood bath! Cade came to the ring in jeans and a sweatshirt, but the barbed wire bat easily shredded through Cade's shirt. The end of the match came from a Double Arm DDT onto the barbed wire bat! The bloodied Cactus Jack gave the fans a "Bang! Bang!" and big smile while the referee raised his hand in victory.

Delirious and Petey Williams defeated William Regal and Austin Aries when Delirious pinned Aries after a sunset flip in 0:02:24.

(Delirious and Petey Williams won the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS... AND NEW LPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!! PETEY WILLIAMS & DELIRIOUS!!

Unbelievable! It only took 2 and a half minutes for Petey Williams & Delirious to win back the LPW Tag Team Championship! Austin Aries was livid with the referee! William Regal was livid with the referee AND Austin Aries!! As Aries continued to argue with the referee, Regal decided he wanted to continue the fight. Instead, Petey Williams kicked him in the gut and flipped him on his head with the Canadian Destroyer! When Aries turned around to see his partner laid out on the floor, Petey kicked him in the gut and Delirious flew off the ropes with Shadows Over Hell! The new Champions celebrated with Daizee Haze and the fans!

Overall: ** 3/4

Match of the Night: Rene Dupree vs. Sabu

Circuit Information:
Petey Williams & Delirious become 2-time LPW Tag Team Champions with a quick victory over William Regal & Austin Aries! In a post-match interview, Aries & Regal blamed everything from the ref counting fast to a fan in the front row with a laser pointer as reasons for them losing tonight. What does the future hold for this duo?

Homicide has issued the challenge and Karl Anderson has accepted! Next week, Anderson defends the LPW Championship against Homicide in a LADDER MATCH!! There will be No-Disqualifications! Everything is legal, including steel chairs! The only way to win is to climb the ladder and retrieve the LPW Championship hanging high above the ring!

The match between Lance Cade and Cactus Jack was easily the most barbaric we've seen in LPW. Cade thought he could prove his dominance over Jack in a match that was custom made for Cactus Jack but it didn't work out. In fact, Cade had to be hospitalized following the match. Aside from requiring several stitches, Cade may need further medical assistance this week.

It's clear now that Sharmell has bad intentions towards her husband, Booker T, and she wants his world to come crashing down. So far it seems that Booker T can do nothing about it either. She has surrounded herself with a tag team that has been nothing but impressive since arriving in LPW and a handful of bodyguards to boot. Sharmell has issued a challenge on behalf of her tag team for Chuck Palumbo. Next week, Palumbo will try to gain some revenge for his partner in a Handicap Match against The House of Truth.

Giant Bernard made a surprise appearance tonight facing Abyss. As far as we know there are no on-going negotiations between Bernard and LPW, but LPW has stated they could possibly be interested in signing him to a contract if the interest is mutual.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Championship Ladder Match: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Homicide
** Handicap Match: The House of Truth vs. Chuck Palumbo
** Danny Doring & Afa Jr. vs. The Sandman & New Jack

LPW Week 15
Mixing Business With Battle

Pre Show Promo > In Ring
To the surprise of the fans in attendance this week's show began with a new face... a new and very ugly face. SNITSKY came to the ring dressed to wrestle and laid out an open challenge. And of course, it was accepted!

Abyss pinned Snitsky with the Black Hole Slam in 0:10:34.
Rating: 3/4*

Abyss answered the call and to Snitsky's credit he didn't back down. In fact, Snitsky had control most of the match but like so many in the past, he just couldn't keep Abyss down for a pin. And just like most of the others before him, Snitsky fell victim to the Black Hole Slam.

Austin Aries and William Regal defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when W. Regal defeated R. Romero by disqualification in 0:18:53.
Rating: ** 3/4

The former Tag Team Champions were looking to take their frustrations out on the duo of York & Romero but it wasn't as easy as they had hoped. The match was coming down to the closing minutes within the time limit when Regal got desperate. He reached into his trunks for his trusty brass knuckles and tried to deck Romero behind the referee's back. Romero ducked and booted Regal forcing him to drop the knuckles. Romero picked them up, put them on, and knocked Regal out cold. Unfortunately the referee saw this and DQ'd Romero & York.

Ted DiBiase defeated Brian Kendrick when Brian Kendrick passed out in a cobra clutch in 0:03:58.
Rating: ** 3/4

Dibiase clearly did his homework. A few weeks ago Kendrick lost a couple of matches to Rene Dupree via Dupree's Bonne Nuit, a version of the cobra clutch. Obviously this is Kendrick's cryptonite and once Dibiase locked in his version of the cobra clutch it was lights out for Kendrick.

Rene Dupree defeated Petey Williams by countout in 0:07:35.
Rating: ***

We saw a vicious side of Dupree come out when he was at war with Brian Kendrick and that rage is keeping him in the top ranks in LPW. Tonight, Dupree stayed aggressive in his match against Petey Williams and forcing the fight to the floor. There Dupree caught Petey with a DDT on the concrete and Petey couldn't make it back in the ring before getting counted out.

Afa Jr. and Giant Bernard defeated New Jack and The Sandman when Bernard pinned New Jack with the Bernard Driver in 0:14:27.
Rating: * 1/2
(Danny Doring no-showed.)

Giant Bernard replaced Danny Doring who was suspiciously absent from tonight's event. The Hardcore Icons hung in there with the two strong men but just couldn't secure a win. Bernard puts New Jack away his finisher.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
As Giant Bernard & Afa Jr. headed back to the locker room area, The Sandman got on the microphone and called Afa Jr. back to the ring saying they have some unfinished business to take care of. Never one to back down from a fight Afa Jr. headed back to the ring. The Sandman picked up his Singapore Cane and prepared for battle. But first he had some other things to say. He reminded everyone about the wars he and New Jack have had against the team of Afa Jr. & Danny Doring and how Afa has kicked their asses night after night. He then adds, "if you can't beat 'em, join em." THE SANDMAN TURNS AND BEGINS CANING NEW JACK who lay prone in the ring still hurt from the Bernard Driver!! Afa Jr. slides in and joins The Sandman in beating on New Jack! Sabu & Cactus Jack hit the ring and with some punches and clotheslines they send Afa Jr. & The Sandman out of the ring, saving New Jack from permanent injury.

[Handicap-Match]
Chuck Palumbo defeated The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) when C. Palumbo made C. Able submit to an inverted Boston crab in 0:29:07.
Rating: **** 3/4

Wow! Who would have thought a Handicap Match could be this good! The heat The House of Truth & Sharmell are generating is off the charts! Palumbo had every intention of getting revenge for his partner Booker T. He was not going down without a fight. But it was 2-on-1 and not many men can be successful when the numbers are against him. In the end, The House of Truth was just toying with Palumbo, trying to humiliate him when Booker T had seen enough and attempted to rush the ring. Sharmell's bodyguards prevented him from getting in though. The House of Truth taunted Booker but had their backs to Palumbo. Palumbo nailed Raymond from behind sending him to the floor. He then knocked down Able and locked in an inverted Boston Crab forcing Able to submit!!

[Giant Bernard interfered against Homicide.]

HERE IS YOUR WINNER... AND STILL LPW CHAMPION... KARL ANDERSON!!

The first Ladder Match in LPW history was not a disappointment! Anderson and Homicide put their bodies on the line and it just goes to show you how important this Championship really is to both men. The one thing no one could have predicted was Giant Bernard making an appearance and helping the LPW Champion! At one point Bernard prevented Homicide from getting the belt by climbing up the ladder behind Homicide and powerbombing him to the canvas! This gave Anderson the time he needed to climb the ladder and retrieve the belt.

Overall: ***

Match of the Night: Chuck Palumbo vs. The House of Truth

Circuit Information:
This was an incredible night of action for LPW capped off with the companies first ever Ladder Match! Karl Anderson continues to show us that he will do whatever it takes to keep the LPW Championship. This time he enlisted the services of Giant Bernard to aid him. Not sure if this was just a one time thing or if Anderson will have Bernard by his side full-time. What we do know is Homicide was furious after he realized what happened.

The House of Truth may have lost the battle tonight but they're still winning the war. It was a small victory for Booker T but he still isn't any closer to getting answers from Sharmell or getting his hands on The House of Truth. In fact, Sharmell has negotiated a contract for next week giving The House of Truth a shot at the LPW Tag Team Championship! Sources say Booker's attitude is changing everyday and he is bound to explode soon.

The alliance among the ECW originals has been broken by The Sandman's sudden turn on former partner and friend, New Jack. We're not sure if this was a plan formulated by Danny Doring or if this was just The Sandman taking matters into his own hands. Either way, a Six-Man Tag Team Match has been signed for next week pitting the trio of New Jack, Sabu, & Cactus Jack taking on Doring, Afa Jr, and The Sandman.

Snitsky is not interested in a long-term agreement with LPW. He has agreed to work next week's show but has other arrangements beyond then.

Austin Aries has given his notice. He has been offered more money to wrestle elsewhere but he intends to honor his remaining bookings.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match - Petey Williams & Delirious (c) vs. The House of Truth
** Six-Man Tag Match - Danny Doring, Afa Jr., & The Sandman vs. New Jack, Sabu, & Cactus Jack

LPW Week 16
Truth Be Told

Sabu, New Jack and Cactus Jack defeated Afa Jr., Danny Doring and The Sandman when Cactus Jack pinned Jr. after a flying sunset flip in 0:06:33.
Rating: ** 1/4

This could possibly have been the biggest and wildest brawl we've seen in LPW. In the end, The Sandman and New Jack were fighting in the stands, Doring and Sabu were slugging it out on the floor, and Cactus Jack was wrestling(?!) Afa Jr. in the ring! Cactus put away Afa Jr. with a flying sunset flip! It took some extra effort however to seperate The Sandman and New Jack after the match was over.

Chuck Palumbo pinned Rene Dupree after a side suplex in 0:07:43.
Chuck Palumbo suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 3 cards.
Rating: ***
(Super Crazy no-showed.)

Super Crazy was supposed to make his first appearance tonight but his debut will have to be postponed as difficulties in traveling prevented him from getting to the building on time. Palumbo, who initially had the night off as he was still recuperating from his Handicap Match last week, took his place. He was able to defeat Dupree but not without consequences as he injured himself even further and will likely need even more time off. Dupree threw a fit afterwards about having to face someone he wasn't prepared for.

The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) defeated Christian York and Rocky Romero when DiBiase pinned R. Romero after a powerslam in 0:10:12.
Rating: ***

The Natural Connection looked great tonight in their win over York & Romero. You have to believe these two still have the ultimate goal of winning the LPW Tag Team Championship.

Booker T pinned Snitsky with the Axe Kick in 0:02:13.
Rating: * 1/4

Booker T came out and beat the hell out of Snitsky. All Snitsky could do was try to cover up as Booker came at him with a barrage of offense eventually putting him away with the Axe Kick.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Booker T got on the microphone and called out Sharmell and The House of Truth. Obviously none of them came out. Booker cut a promo saying it's one thing to leave him high and dry but for Sharmell to completely turn against him was low class and selfish. He warned The House of Truth that bodyguards can only protect them so long and that one day he will have his revenge.

Prematch Promo > Interview Area
Giant Bernard is standing by in the brand new backstage area with interviewer Gordon Bailey and was asked about his involvement with Karl Anderson last week. Bernard said Anderson is one of the top wrestlers in the world and everyone is gunning to take his spot. He says Anderson needed some backup and Bernard was more than happy to help. Bailey then went on to show Bernard a pretaped promo from Homicide. In it Homicide claimed Bernard would pay for costing him the LPW Championship and next week he was coming after Bernard. Bernard was fuming about Homicide as he headed to the ring for his upcoming match.

Brian Kendrick pinned Giant Bernard with the Sliced Bread #2 in 0:12:30.
Rating: ***

Kendrick was unfortunate enough to be Bernard's opponent after Bernard heard comments from Homicide. Bernard threw Kendrick all over the ring but didn't have any intentions on pinning him. He just wanted to send a message to Homicide. It all backfired on Bernard when he got caught with Sliced Bread #2 and was defeated by Kendrick! Kendrick headed to the safety of the locker room as Bernard raged at ringside.

Abyss defeated Austin Aries by disqualification in 0:00:56.
Rating: *
[William Regal interfered against Abyss.]

William Regal came to the ring with steel chair in an effort to aid his partner, Austin Aries, in a win over Abyss. Too bad for Regal he was caught red handed by the referee and Aries was immediately DQ'd. Aries looked frustrated with Regal as the two argued on the outside. Abyss reached out and grabbed them both but they retreated to the locker room.

Post Match Promo > Backstage
Aries & Regal continued their argument in the back while cameras picked up what was being said. To Regal's surprise, Aries was leaving LPW after next week's match. Aries said he is going to request a rematch against Abyss and he expects Regal to keep his nose out of it. He says he wants to leave LPW on a high note. Regal had a look on his face as if he had smelled something rotten. Then he smiled and said "okay, Sunshine. Give 'em hell next week."

The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) defeated Delirious and Petey Williams when C. Able defeated Delirious by disqualification in 0:13:25.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Delirious and Petey Williams retained the LPW Tag Team Championship.)
[Booker T interfered against Christian Able.]

This was The House of Truth's shot at becoming the LPW Tag Team Champions and it was also Sharmell's chance to be close to gold again. The match was going the way of The House of Truth when there was a commotion near the entranceway. It looked as if someone was trying to get to the ring. With all of Sharmell's bodyguards checking out the entranceway, Booker T hopped over a guardrail at ringside and started attacking The House of Truth. The referee had to throw the match out. Booker T was laying on a beating when the bodyguards rushed the ring. Booker had no choice but to retreat into the crowd and out the front door!

Overall: **1/4

Match of the Night: Chuck Palumbo vs. Rene Dupree / The Natural Connection vs. York & Romero / Brian Kendrick vs. Giant Bernard

Circuit Information:
Booker T hit The House of Truth and Sharmell tonight when it hurt the most... during a Championship Match! In a post show promo Sharmell was irate with Booker but she insisted she will still not give Booker the satisfaction of wrestling The House of Truth. She said Booker is not worth her time and he should just give up.

Homicide warned Giant Bernard that next week he would be after him. It looks like Homicide's words may have gotten to the big man because he lost to Brian Kendrick tonight. Karl Anderson has come to the defense of Giant Bernard and together next week they will face Homicide & Brian Kendrick.

Austin Aries has one more match left under his contract and he wants a rematch with Abyss. Tonight William Regal thought he would be helping out his teammate, but ended up costing him the match. Aries has asked that William Regal not get involved next week as he would like to leave LPW with a great match to remember him by.

Super Crazy's debut has been delayed by a week but we'll try it again next week. So long as there are no more transportation problems Super Crazy and Rene Dupree will go one-on-one.

Also next week, New Jack & Cactus Jack will battle the team of Afa Jr. & The Sandman! Although New Jack's team won tonight he still feels he hasn't given The Sandman the proper receipt for turning on him last week.

Matches announced for next week:
** Karl Anderson & Giant Bernard vs. Homicide & Brian Kendrick
** Non-Title Match - Delirious & Petey Williams vs. The Natural Connection
** Austin Aries vs. Abyss
** Cactus Jack & New Jack vs. Afa Jr. & The Sandman
** Rene Dupree vs. Super Crazy

LPW Week 17
Staying In (or Out)

Afa Jr. and The Sandman defeated New Jack and Cactus Jack when Sandman pinned Cactus Jack after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:22:29.
Rating: ** 1/2

A rivalry that began between New Jack and The Sandman has grown to involve Afa Jr. and Cactus Jack. These are 4 of the hardest-hitting men in LPW and they held nothing back tonight. This match may have gone 22 minutes but the fans were into it the entire time. In the end The Sandman needed his trusty Singapore Cane to secure the win over Cactus Jack!

Rocky Romero defeated Christian Able by disqualification in 0:10:50.
Rating: **
[Sharmell interfered against Rocky Romero.]

A strong showing by both men who usually compete in tag team matches. When it looked like Romero was getting the best of Able and headed for a win, Sharmell got involved by tripping him up as he hit the ropes. Romero wins by disqualification, not the way he would have liked.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Rene Dupree came to the ring first and waited for his opponent, Super Crazy. Crazy received a great ovation from the crowd. But before the match could begin Dupree got on the microphone and said that because Super Crazy didn't show up last week like he was supposed to, Dupree was forced to wrestle someone he wasn't prepared for. Now, Crazy will have to deal with the same situation. Dupree announced his replacement for tonight... BIG DADDY V!!

Big Daddy V defeated Super Crazy when Super Crazy passed out in a bearhug in 0:15:05.
Rating: **

The size and strength of Big Daddy V were just too much for Crazy to overcome. You can't blame Crazy for putting up one hell of a fight though. He was prepared to wrestle Rene Dupree, not someone like the giant Big Daddy V!

Post Match
Rene Dupree apparently wasn't done with Super Crazy. He got in the ring and locked in his Bonne Nuit submission, ignoring the orders of the referee to break it. When he finally let go he ordered Big Daddy V to crush Crazy with a big splash. Before this could happen SABU hit the ring and started throwing punches at Dupree and BDV. Dupree finally dropped and rolled out of the ring while BDV stood ominously not affected by Sabu's punches. Sabu rolled out of the ring and grabbed a chair. This was enough for BDV to realize it was time to leave the ring and he and Dupree went to the locker room area shouting at Sabu the whole time.

[Non-Title Match]
The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) defeated Delirious and Petey Williams when Cade pinned P. Williams with the Top-Rope Legdrop in 0:16:00.
Rating: ****

The Natural Connection have had their eyes on the Tag Team Championship since the beginning of LPW. Tonight they received a non-title match against the champions and were able to get a victory in an incredible match. Williams & Delirious attempted to show respect to their opponents with a handshake but The Natural Connection refused and warned the Champions that they were going to take their titles.

Christian York defeated Josh Raymond by countout in 0:03:10.
Rating: ***

A good match that was cut short by a countout. The match spilled to the floor where Raymond took control. He whipped York into the guardrail and started to climb back in, but York pulled him off the ring apron and gave him a taste of the guardrail as well. York then beat the count and had his hand raised in victory. Sharmell & Raymond were a little more than aggravated by the loss.

Austin Aries pinned Abyss with the 450 Splash in 0:15:01.
Rating: ** 1/2

This was Aries last match before moving on to other endeavors. This was back and forth and the fans were cheering on both wrestlers. In the end Abyss attempted a superplex but Aries fought him off and hit the 450 Splash for the win. The crowd sent Aries off with a round of applause.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Rene Dupree stormed the ring before our next match could began and got on the microphone. He said Sabu had no right getting involved in his business earlier tonight. He demanded Sabu come out and face him. Sabu then hit the ring with officials chasing him and keeping the two wrestlers seperated. Bill Alfonso then came out to speak for Sabu. He said if Rene Dupree wants to make demands then Sabu has a demand of his own. He said that if Dupree wants to beat Sabu so badly then they should have a First Blood Match! The crowd agreed! Dupree's frustration was already boiling over so he accepted the match!

[First Blood Match]
Sabu defeated Rene Dupree in 0:03:55.
Rating: ***
(William Regal no-showed.)

Sabu and Dupree tore into each other in the ring and all around ringside. In the end Dupree was in control on the outside. Alfonso was causing quite the distraction with his whistle and Dupree threatened to shove it down his throat. With Alfonso causing the distraction, Sabu grabbed the ring bell and when Dupree turned around Sabu knocked him out cold with it! It also split Dupree open and ended the match. When Dupree came to and saw his own blood on his hands he was furious! He began throwing chairs around ringside and shouting revenge on Sabu.

Booker T defeated Danny Doring by disqualification in 0:01:31.
Rating: * 3/4
[The House of Truth and Sharmell interfered against Booker T.]

A minute into this match Sharmell walked through the curtain with a microphone calling the attention of Booker T. As Booker focused on her The House of Truth came through the crowd and attacked Booker from behind ending the match immediately!

Post Match > In Ring
The House of Truth continued to stomp, punch, kick, and slam Booker T around the ring while Sharmell insulted him on the microphone. She said this beating is a receipt for him costing The House of Truth the Tag Team Championship last week. As the beating continued she went on to warn him that it would just be best of him to leave LPW for good. Finally a group of babyfaces hit the ring running Sharmell and The House of Truth off.

Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson defeated Brian Kendrick and Homicide when Bernard pinned Homicide after a power bomb in 0:13:15.
Rating: *** 1/2

This match was explosive from beginning to end! Homicide and Kendrick looked really good as they took the fight to the LPW Champion and his new ally, Giant Bernard. The match broke down with all 4 men brawling. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 on Anderson and covered him but the referee insisted they were not the legal men. Bernard then laid out Kendrick with a big boot and caught Homicide as he came off the ropes with a power bomb for the win! Anderson, still unconscious from Kendrick's finishing move had to be removed from the ring by Bernard and carried to the locker room area over his shoulder.

Overall: ** 3/4

Match of the Night: Petey Williams & Delirious vs. The Natural Connection

Circuit Information:
In the main event tonight, Giant Bernard may have scored the fall over Homicide but Brian Kendrick showed that under different circumstances he could have pinned the LPW Champion! He will get the opportunity next week when he faces Karl Anderson in a non-title match. Also, Homicide will get another shot at revenge as he goes one-on-one with Giant Bernard!

Once again Booker T received an incredible beating at the hands of The House of Truth! This time the situation was diffused by a number of wrestlers. It's clear that LPW as a whole has tired of Sharmell & The House of Truth's disgusting actions towards Booker T but when will it end?

Rene Dupree introduced everyone and especially Super Crazy to the behemoth Big Daddy V! He also tried to induce some additional punishment but Sabu put a stop to that which led to Dupree's eventual defeat in an impromptu First Blood Match. Dupree is in a rage now that not only did Sabu get involved in his business but that he's also permanently scarred his face.

Next week The Natural Connection will get the opportunity to become new Tag Team Champions, a goal they've said they would eventually reach since day one. Tonight they defeated the Champions in a non-title match but as Petey Williams & Delirious have shown in the past; when the titles are at stake they get the job done.

Cactus Jack has challenged The Sandman to a one-on-one match next week after taking the fall tonight. However, as cameras interviewed Cactus about his challenge, New Jack interrupted. New Jack told Cactus that he needed to forget about The Sandman. He said what's between him and The Sandman is personal and that Cactus should move on. Cactus appeared taken aback by New Jack's hostility. New Jack then added that it was clear by tonight's loss that The Sandman was too much for Cactus to handle anyway. Cactus was visibly upset at that comment but cooler heads prevailed as the two went their separate ways.

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match - Petey Williams & Delirious (c) vs. The Natural Connection
** Non-Title Match - Karl Anderson vs. Brian Kendrick
** Giant Bernard vs. Homicide

LPW Week 18
Danger in the Manger

Tonight's event opened up with The Sandman taking on Cactus Jack. The bell rang to begin the match and both men squared off. Just before they locked up, New Jack's music hit and the crowd was whipped into a frenzy. The Sandman turned towards the curtain assuming New Jack was headed to the ring. Cactus took the opportunity to bulldog The Sandman and get a quick win.

Cactus Jack pinned The Sandman after a bulldog in 0:00:13.
Rating: *

As the bell rang signaling the end of the match, New Jack stormed the ring with a garbage can full of weapons!

Post Match
New Jack threw the can into the ring, weapons spilling everywhere. Cactus stood back in the corner not knowing what to expect as New Jack picked through the weapons. He then proceeded to hit The Sandman with everything from a crutch to a DVD player to a toaster and even a carton of eggs! New Jack then grabbed the ACOUSTIC GUITAR and waited for The Sandman to get back to his feet. Just as The Sandman pulled himself up by the ropes, Cactus Jack hit his Cactus clothesline sending him and The Sandman to the floor. The fans booed as they were hoping to see New Jack smash the guitar and New Jack was equally disappointed. Cactus slid back into the ring and let out a "Bang! Bang!" which was greeted with a mixed reaction. New Jack looked towards the crowd, then at his guitar, then back at the crowd... and then he SMASHED THE GUITAR over Cactus Jack's head! The crowd roared and began a "New Jack! New Jack!" chant!

Big Daddy V and Rene Dupree and Rocky Romero and Christian York battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: *** 1/4

Dupree showed up for the match with his head still heavily bandaged. Before the match began he cut a promo on Sabu vowing to make him pay for scarring his head last week. As for the tag team match, Big Daddy V & Dupree couldn't put away the seasoned team of Romero & York.

New Jack pinned Danny Doring with the 187 in 0:04:07.
Rating: * 1/2

These two are no strangers to one another but the result was the same as usual. Doring was outmatched against New Jack as New Jack dominated most of the match and put him away handily with the 187.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
New Jack cut a promo on both The Sandman and Cactus Jack saying that he takes care of business himself and that he doesn't need anyone. He went on to say that next week he is challenging The Sandman to a one-on-one match. He also said that if Cactus Jack is still upset with getting his head bashed in with a guitar, they can settle that too. New Jack is not a hard man to find.

[Non-Title Match]
Brian Kendrick defeated Karl Anderson by disqualification in 0:09:10.
Rating: ***
[Giant Bernard interfered against Brian Kendrick.]

Kendrick had Anderson reeling in the last couple minutes of this match and it looked like he was well on his way to defeating the Champion. However, Giant Bernard was at ringside to ensure Anderson would not be pinned. After Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 and went for the pin, Bernard pulled the referee out of the ring and shoved him to the ground resulting in a disqualification.

Post Match
Kendrick didn't hesitate for a second as he hit Bernard with a baseball slide through the ropes. Kendrick started clubbing away on Bernard but Bernard cut him off with a knee to the midsection. Bernard rolled Kendrick back into the ring. As Bernard was getting in the ring Homicide ran to the ring as backup for Kendrick. Bernard obviously thought better about going two-against-one. For the second week in a row Bernard carried the unconscious LPW Champion over his shoulder to the locker room area.

William Regal pinned Abyss with the Knee Trembler in 0:19:26.
Rating: *** 1/4

There was a little bad blood from actions a couple weeks ago when Regal hit Abyss in the back with a steel chair in an attempt to help Austin Aries get a win. In this match, Regal attempted to bring not only a steel chair into the mix, but also brass knuckles. Both attempts were thwarted by Abyss. But in the end it was Regal's trusty knees that got him a decisive win over the former LPW Champion.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Sharmell and The House of Truth cut a promo on Booker T verbally degrading him not only as a professional wrestler but also as a human being. Finally hearing enough, some babyface wrestlers walked down the aisle only to be stopped by Sharmell's bodyguards. Bill Alfonso became the spokesman for the babyfaces as he said they have heard enough and they should take a good look at themselves in the mirror before saying the things they say about Booker T. Sharmell fired back at Alfonso claiming she can say what she wants and she has the muscle to back her up, pointing to The House of Truth. Alfonso then made a challenge to her and The House of Truth for a match right now!

Sabu and Super Crazy defeated The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) when Sabu pinned C. Able with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:18:17.
Rating: ****
[Sharmell interfered against Super Crazy.]

Despite these two teams never facing each other, this match was insanely heated. Bill Alfonso's new team of Sabu & Super Crazy took the fight to The House of Truth letting them know that LPW will no longer just stand by and watch as Sharmell and her team degrade Booker T.

Homicide pinned Giant Bernard after the Ace Crusher in 0:02:45.

Homicide's Ace Crusher came from no where and the last person to realize what happened was Giant Bernard. In just under 3 minutes, Homicide pinned Bernard's shoulders to the mat. As Homicide walked back to the locker room area celebrating, Bernard paced back and forth angrily in the ring. This is clearly not over.

The Natural Connection has always said that if they got a shot at the LPW Tag Team Championship that they would come out on top. They did just that tonight. Williams made the hot tag and was bouncing Cade all over the ring. He set up for the Canadian Destroyer, but Dibiase broke that up with a clothesline. Delrious, still feeling the effects from the heat he took earlier in the match, charged Dibiase and both went crashing over the ropes and to the floor. Back in the ring, Williams and Cade both worked up to their feet and began to exchange strikes. Williams stunned Cade with a hard forearm and hit the ropes to finish him off. Dibiase reached up from the floor and grabbed Williams foot, tripped him up as he came off the ropes. As Williams staggered towards Cade, Cade hit a swinging neckbreaker and went for the cover. Holding the tights for leverage, Cade was able to keep Williams shoulders on the mat for the three count!

Match of the Night: Sabu & Super Crazy vs. The House of Truth

Circuit Information:
Tonight LPW crowned new Tag Team Champions, The Natural Connection! With the win they become the 4th team in LPW's short history to hold the titles. However, Petey Williams & Delirious are two-time Tag Team Champions and could very well win the title back next week when they get their rematch.

The feud between Karl Anderson & Giant Bernard and Homicide & Brian Kendrick continues to rage on and things are only heating up. In just two weeks, LPW will host it's first ever WARGAMES!! Two teams consisting of five wrestlers each will slug it out in this two-ring, steel cage match! Karl Anderson and Brian Kendrick have been named team captains and next week they will choose their partners heading into WarGames.

That's not all Anderson and Kendrick will be doing next week. Karl Anderson defends his LPW Championship against Kendrick in a match where both wrestlers get to choose a stipulation!

It's safe to say The House of Truth and Sharmell have done a much better job of making enemies than friends here in LPW but that hasn't stopped them from tormenting Booker T whether he's in the building or not. However, next week Booker T WILL be in the building and he has an important announcement.

Rene Dupree competed tonight with a ridiculous bandage covering his head. This, he claims, is because Sabu cut and scarred him so badly last week. He hasn't made it a secret that he wants to get his hands on Sabu. Therefore, Bill Alfonso has granted him his wish. Next week, Rene Dupree & his new ally, Big Daddy V, will take on Alfonso's team of Sabu & Super Crazy.

New Jack laid down the law tonight not only with his words but also with an acoustic guitar as he smashed it to pieces over the head of Cactus Jack. His challenge to The Sandman will be answered next week, but what about Cactus Jack? We know New Jack will fight anyone anytime and we can assume that Cactus won't just forget about what happened.

Lot's of action planned for next week... and probably lots of unplanned action as well!

Matches announced for next week:
** LPW Championship Match - Karl Anderson (c) vs. Brian Kendrick
** LPW Tag Team Championship Match - The Natural Connection (c) vs. Petey Williams & Delirious
** The Sandman vs. New Jack
** Big Daddy V & Rene Dupree vs. Sabu & Super Crazy

LPW Week 19
Someday Came Suddenly

Promo > In Ring
The Natural Connection stood in the ring with their newly won Tag Team Championship belts around their waists. They put themselves over as the best tag team in wrestling and future legends of the business. As the fans shower them with their disapproval, a young guy who we haven't seen in LPW before enters the ring with microphone in hand. He chimes in by saying The Natural Connection are a great team but as far as the future of wrestling goes, he doesn't see it. He goes on to say that he, JOHNNY GARGANO, "The Whole Sha'bang" is indeed the future of this business. The crowd seems to be taking a liking to Gargano but Dibiase and Cade are furious. Dibiase shouts that Gargano is a nothing more than a disrespectful punk for interrupting the Tag Team Champions and that despite having to defend the titles tonight, he wants to mop the ring with Gargano right now! Cade advises against it, but Dibiase ensures him it will take no time at all to dispose of Gargano.

Johnny Gargano pinned Ted DiBiase with the Uniquely You in 0:10:20.
Rating: *** 1/2

What an unlikely turn of events here as this newcomer by the name of Johnny Gargano upsets one half of the Tag Team Champions! The fans were certainly behind him the entire match. As Gargano leaves the ring with a smile on his face, the Tag Team Champions were left in the ring questioning what just happened.

Christian York pinned Afa Jr. with the Inverted Cross in 0:13:02.

Promo > In Ring
The LPW Champion Karl Anderson and his opponent tonight, Brian Kendrick meet in the ring to announce their partners for next week's WarGames Match. To no one's surprise, Karl Anderson chooses his closest ally Giant Bernard. Kendrick then chooses his closest ally Homicide. Anderson then goes on to choose two more partners... the LPW Tag Team Champions, The Natural Connection. Kendrick then chooses TNC's biggest rivals and opponents tonight, Petey Williams  & Delirious. Both have a fifth teammate to announce but those two will be revealed later on in a tag team match when Giant Bernard & the final member of Anderson's team take on Homicide & the final member of Kendrick's team. Finally, they hype tonight's main event and remind everyone that they each get to pick a stipulation before the match begins.

Big Daddy V and Rene Dupree and Sabu and Super Crazy battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: **

Rene Dupree was still wearing a bandage on his head suggesting that there is still some scarring from a couple weeks ago when Sabu busted him open. In the end, neither team could defeat the other and the time limit expired. This, however, didn't save Sabu and Super Crazy from a post-match assault...

Post Match
Big Daddy V trapped Super Crazy in the corner, sitting on him so he could not help his partner. Alfonso didn't prove to be much help either as one punch from Dupree had him seeing stars. Dupree then went to work on Sabu with a flurry of fists. Unsatisfied, Dupree then searched under the ring until he found a toolbox, and a screwdriver. With a sadistic look on his face, Dupree shoved the screwdriver into Sabu's forehead until blood was running down Sabu's face. Then, adding insult to injury, Dupree locked on the Bonne Nuit until Sabu was unconscious.

The Sandman pinned New Jack with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:09:27.
Rating: **

In an all out brawl The Sandman defeated his former partner New Jack. The Sandman wasn't satisfied with just a pinfall victory. He wanted to punish New Jack with his Singapore Cane. As New Jack lay on the canvas, The Sandman took the opportunity to sneak in a few cane shots before CACTUS JACK hit the ring!

Post Match
Cactus Jack hits the ring with a chair and The Sandman scurries to the ringside area. Cactus then looks at New Jack, then looks at the crowd, then back at New Jack before dropping a big elbow with the chair on top of New Jack! The crowd pops as Cactus lets out a "Bang! Bang!"

[LPW Tag Team Championship Match]
The Natural Connection (Ted DiBiase and Lance Cade) defeated Delirious and Petey Williams when Cade defeated P. Williams by countout in  0:02:40.
Rating: * 1/4
(The Natural Connection retained the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

This was a very disappointing loss for the former Champions as it may be the last time they get a rematch for the belts against The Natural Connection. Cade slid in the ring as Dibiase kept Williams busy on the outside forcing a countout. Williams & Delirious will have to wait until next week's WarGames to get their hands on the Champions.

Booker T calls out Sharmell and HoT who come out with their bodyguards. He makes the announcement that he is leaving LPW... but ONLY if the HoT can defeat him in a Handicap Loser-Leaves-Town Match. Sharmell laughs in his face saying their is no way she signing that contract and that Booker T should just cut his losses and leave. Then the bodyguards, wearing full blown SWAT gear pull off their helmets to reveal themselves as Rocky Romero, Christian York, and Super Crazy. The three babyfaces hold back the House of Truth leaving Sharmell without any protection. Booker then recalls the details of the contract inching closer and closer to Sharmell. With no where to run or hide, Sharmell signs the contract. Then the babyfaces get in a few shots on the House of Truth before they are able to escape.

Homicide and Abyss defeated Giant Bernard and William Regal when Abyss pinned Bernard after a splash from the second rope in 0:12:26.
Rating: ** 1/2

William Regal was revealed as the fifth man for Karl Anderson's WarGames team, but Kendrick may have one upped them by getting "The Monster" Abyss as his fifth man. In tonight's tag team match, Abyss showed his dominance with a pinfall win over Bernard. However next week, it's anyone's guess as to who has the advantage going into WarGames.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Before the Main Event Championship match began, Kendrick and Anderson got to choose a stipulation. Kendrick was first to choose. He said since Anderson has been known to take the easy way out in the past and get himself DQ'd, he wants the stipulation that the belt can change hands via DQ or countout! Anderson played along and pretended to be angry with Kendrick's choice before putting a smile on his face as he announced his stipulation... a special guest referee! He then introduced TED DIBIASE as the referee.

Karl Anderson defeated Brian Kendrick by disqualification in 0:12:06.

(Karl Anderson retained the LPW Championship.)
[Rocky Romero interfered against Karl Anderson.]

Even with Kendrick's choice of stipulation, the odds were still stacked against him. That didn't prevent him from fighting his hardest. A bit of a surprise at the end of the match when Rocky Romero came to ringside. Dibiase had no idea what Romero was doing at ringside and ordered him to leave, but Romero refused. In fact, he slid in the ring right past Dibiase and nailed Anderson superkick! Dibiase immediately called for the bell... and then ate a superkick as well! Kendrick stood confused and mad as hell... and then HE TOO ate a superkick!

Post Match Brawl
Karl Anderson's teammates for WarGames rushed the ring in an attempt to get a hold of Romero but Romero dipped out. This left Kendrick alone in the ring with all 5 of his opponents in next week's WarGames. That is until his teammates hit the ring and all hell broke loose! Eventually the babyfaces cleared the ring and the heels headed to the back vowing revenge next week!

Overall: **

Match of the Night: Johnny Gargano vs. Ted Dibiase

Circuit Information:
What in the world was Rocky Romero doing tonight? He got involved in the main event, the LPW Championship Match, between two guys who are heading into the most dangerous match in wrestling next week... and he pissed them both off! Nevertheless, next week is WarGames and judging by all that went down tonight between the teams it's going to be a wild one!

Booker T has finally received his match against the House of Truth and the stipulation is HUGE! It's a Handicap Match but the loser or losers of the match must LEAVE LPW! The contract includes Sharmell's employment as well so if the House of Truth fail to defeat Booker T, Sharmell must leave as well. While Booker T has the odds against him he has vowed to send the House of Truth packing. Meanwhile, Sharmell has said the inevitable is coming and that it's better sooner than later that Booker T is eliminated from LPW.

The Sandman, New Jack, and Cactus Jack are set to settle their differences next week in a Falls Count Anywhere, Anything Goes Match! Based on the backgrounds of these three individuals there is no telling how extreme things could get!

Sabu and Rene Dupree will hopefully settle their differences next week. Dupree still wears the bandage on his head as a reminder of what Sabu did to him in a First Blood Match. Whether or not there is anything underneath the bandage anymore is anyone's guess. Tonight Dupree got some payback by splitting Sabu open and knocking him unconscious with the Bonne Nuit.

Matches announced for next week:
** WarGames Match - Karl Anderson, Giant Bernard, Ted Dibiase, Lance Cade, and William Regal vs. Brian Kendrick, Homicide, Petey Williams, Delirious, and Abyss
** Loser(s)-Leaves-Town Match - Booker T vs. The House of Truth
** Rene Dupree vs. Sabu

I apologize in advance for the long write-up here. It was the only way I could really do the WarGames match justice and I also had to try to explain what TNM threw at me last week. So if you actually do read it, thanks!

LPW Week 20
WarGames

This show features a unique setup as there are TWO rings side-by-side. This is to make room for the 5-on-5 WarGames Match that is tonight's main event!

The show kicks off with The Sandman and Cactus Jack squaring off in the ring. Then New Jack's music hits and he rushes the ring with a garbage can full of weapons to begin our opening match!

[Falls Count Anywhere, Anything Goes Triangle Match]
New Jack defeated The Sandman and Cactus Jack:
x New Jack beat Cactus Jack via the 187 in 0:03:00
x New Jack beat Sandman via the 187 in 0:10:06
Rating: ***

Cactus Jack was the first one put away after a barrage of weapon shots from his opponents followed up with New Jack's 187 finisher from the top rope. The the former tag team partners were left alone to beat the hell out of each other. It came down the Sandman's Singapore Cane versus New Jack's acoustic guitar. The guitar was smashed to pieces over Sandman's head and with another 187 from the top rope, New Jack was victorious.

Up next, Christian York will take his chances against the abominable Big Daddy V...

Big Daddy V defeated Christian York by countout in 0:03:19.
Rating: * 1/2

This was a short match that was dominated by BDV. After being squished in the corner by an avalanche, York rolled to the arena floor. BDV would punish him further outside of the ring. After hitting an amazing spinning leg kick, BDV reentered the ring and won by countout.

Afa Jr. makes his way to the ring looking as mean and hungry as ever. Then Super Crazy runs and slides in the ring, nipping up and popping the crowd! His manager, Bill Alfonso, followed close behind; sans in-ring slide and nip up of course.

Super Crazy made Afa Jr. submit to a sleeperhold in 0:08:07.
Rating: * 3/4

The match went back and forth. Crazy delighted the fans with his lucha style and aerial assault. Meanwhile, Afa impressed with his uncanny agility and ruthlessness. Crazy was able to tame the wildman with a sleeperhold to gain the victory.

Post Match > In Ring
After Super Crazy and Alfonso celebrated the win, Crazy helped Afa to his feet. Afa was startled and ready to fight, but Crazy assured him he wanted no trouble. Instead, Crazy extended his hand in a showing of respect. Afa, confused, look towards the crowd for an explanation. They urged him to shake Super Crazy's hand and Afa obliged!

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Rocky Romero comes to the ring. He is greeted with a mixed reaction. He addresses his actions last week when he superkicked LPW Champion Karl Anderson, challenger Brian Kendrick, and special referee Ted Dibiase. He said he is sick of being overlooked. He reminds everyone of the 20-minute time limit draw he had against Karl Anderson in Week 14. He says he should have been the one challenging Anderson last week. He continues by saying as of last week he's going to start taking matters into his own hands.

LPW Champion Karl Anderson interrupts Romero and addresses him from the entranceway. He says Romero is picking a fight he can't win. He says a guy like Romero isn't worth his time and when Romero EARNS his Championship match then he can come see him. The crowd sort of cheers Anderson's comments while Romero looks on angrily.

"Dastardly" Danny Doring makes his way to the ring to take on the now disgruntled and frustrated Rocky Romero.

Danny Doring defeated Rocky Romero when Rocky Romero passed out in a front facelock in 0:13:00.
Rating: **

It's safe to say that Romero was really taken out of his element following Anderson's words. And that wouldn't be the last earful Romero would receive...

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Following the match, Brian Kendrick makes his way to the ring as Doring leaves. Kendrick shakes Romero to wake him up. Kendrick then gets on the microphone and says he was going to come out here and superkick Romero's teeth in just like Romero did to him last week but losing to Doring was punishment enough. He goes on to say that he actually agrees with Karl Anderson, his opponent in tonight's WarGames, and that Romero hasn't earned the right to start making demands. The fans cheer Kendrick as he walks away. Romero seems stunned by Kendrick's comments.

As Kendrick leaves, Christian York enters the ring. York has been the long time partner of Romero since LPW opened. York asks why Romero didn't come to him for advice. He says he could have kept Romero out of the mess he's in and they could have continued to pursue bigger things in LPW. Instead, York says he feels like he can't trust Romero anymore and that he is done with him. The fans cheer York! Romero can't believe it. He pleads forgiveness as York walks away. The fans begin mocking and laughing at Romero as he walks away ashamed.

Rene Dupree makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. He is still sporting a bandage and gauze around his head even though it's been three weeks since his head was split. Accompanied by Bill Alfonso, Sabu hits the ring where he is jumpstarted by Dupree to begin the next match.

Sabu defeated Rene Dupree by disqualification in 0:07:30.
Rating: ** 1/2

Sabu fought back and quickly took the advantage. As the fight spilled to the floor, Sabu sat Dupree on a chair and went back in to the ring. He attempted a dive onto Dupree, but Dupree moved and Sabu went head first into the chair and concrete floor. This left him easy pickings for Dupree. Dupree slid him back in the ring and locked on the Bonne Nuit. Sabu was unresponsive and the referee had no decision but to give Dupree the victory. However, Dupree would not relinquish the hold and after trying to force him off, the referee reversed the decision and awarded Sabu the win by disqualification! This made Dupree furious and he finally let go. Then Super Crazy hit the ring to protect his friend and Dupree made a quick exit.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
To the crowd's surprise, John "Bradshaw" Layfield made his way out. The fans responded with cheers as they recognized him. Those cheers turned to boo's though when JBL got on the microphone. He put over LPW but went on to say that the fans should expect an increase in ticket prices because they don't deserve to watch a wrestling god compete for the cheap prices they're paying for their tickets. He throws out an open challenge to which he was as shocked as anyone when CARLITO answered the call. Carlito said he was in the building tonight to work out a special appearance for next week's show but he would love to shut JBL up tonight.

Carlito pinned John "Bradshaw" Layfield with the Backstabber in 0:16:49.
Rating: * 3/4

This was quite the special attraction match. The match went on a little too long for the fans liking but they were happy when the finish saw Carlito slip out of a JBL powerbomb and hit his Backstabber for the win. In a showing of poor sportsmanship, JBL hit a Clothesline From Hell on Carlito as he celebrated his victory.

The House of Truth are led to the ring by Sharmell. No bodyguards this time. They look mad. Booker T then makes his way to the ring looking determined.

[Handicap, Loser-Leaves-Town Match]
Booker T defeated The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) when Booker pinned J. Raymond with the Axe Kick in 0:12:07.
Rating: *** 3/4
[Chuck Palumbo interfered against Christian Able.]
[Sharmell interfered against Booker T.]
[Chuck Palumbo interfered against Josh Raymond.]

The intensity in this match was off the charts. No matter the punishment Booker took throughout, he fought on. In the end, Booker's long time partner and friend Chuck Palumbo made an appearance! He had been sidelined with an injury and this is the first time we've seen him in weeks. Able saw him coming and went after him, but he was met with a stiff boot and barrage of punches on the floor. Sharmell then hopped up on the ring apron to talk trash to Booker. With Booker's attention on her, Raymond grabbed a chair from ringside. As he slid in to hit Booker, Palumbo slid in right behind him and took the chair from him. He proceeded to hit Raymond in the gut with the chair. Booker then turned around, saw his opportunity and hit the Axe Kick to seal the deal! Sharmell broke down in tears as her and the House of Truth must now leave LPW thanks to the husband she betrayed in the first place.

As we take a brief intermission, the steel cage is set up for our main event... WarGames!

LPW Champion Karl Anderson leads his team of Giant Bernard, William Regal, Lance Cade, and Ted Dibiase down the aisle. They circle the ominous looking cage before settling by one of the doors. Brian Kendrick and his team then come out but Petey Williams is absent. Instead, the newcomer Johnny Gargano is with the team which also includes Homicide, Delirious, and Abyss. Kendrick gets on the microphone and says Petey was unable to make the show tonight. He goes on to say that when Gargano defeated Ted Dibiase last week he proved himself he could be a useful teammate.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... IT IS NOW TIME FOR WAR GAMES!!

Ted Dibiase and Homicide start for their respective teams. Homicide gets some good shots in early but Dibiase slows his momentum with a thumb in the eye. Dibiase continues to punish Homicide while the coin toss takes place.

Team Captains Anderson and Kendrick stand beside an official as he flips the coin. Kendrick's team wins the coin toss and the advantage.

Johnny Gargano is next in. Dibiase waits for him and catches him as he enters. He shoots him in the ropes but Gargano ducks and bounces back with a flying forearm. Gargano bounces Dibiase off the side of the cage. Homicide does the same. Dibiase has been lacerated!

Lance Cade is next in the cage. He levels the playing field with a low blow on Gargano. He then goes to work on Homicide. The Natural Connection are in full control.

Delirious enters the cage next and takes both Cade & Dibiase down with a magnificent flying cross body from ring one to ring two! He continues with a flurry of offense while the crowd urges him on.

Next in is the big man, Giant Bernard. The three babyfaces stop what they're doing and surround him. All at once they start attacking Bernard but he just pushes them all back and lays in some haymakers and big boots. Cade & Dibiase gain their bearings and once again the heels have the advantage. Bernard grinds Homicide's face into the cage until Homicide is bleeding.

Brian Kendrick enters next. He hops on Bernard's back giving Delirious the opportunity to lay in some shots and for the first time Bernard is off his feet. Meanwhile Dibiase is still bleeding profusely and barely able to stand.

William Regal is the next one in throwing jabs and forearms at all the babyfaces. He finally focuses in on young Johnny Gargano dragging his face across the ring ropes and landing some brutal punches to the face. Before long Gargano is wearing the crimson mask.

Last in for the babyfaces is "The Monster" Abyss! He takes down a charging Regal with a clothesline and catches Cade charging with The Black Hole Slam! Then Giant Bernard gets in his face. The two big men size each other up. They have a whole ring to themselves. The exchange shoulder blocks until Bernard tries to sneak a big boot in. Abyss side steps it, hoists up Bernard, and drops him with the torture rack backbreaker!

Karl Anderson enters last for his team and he manages to sneak a steel chair in the ring with him. He nails Abyss in the back only temporarily fazing him. Then Abyss punches the chair back into Anderson's face promptly splitting the LPW Champion open!

As the fight raged on Delirious began to hone in on Dibiase. Dibiase had lost a lot of blood and the officials were keeping an eye on him making sure he could continue. Finally, as Delirious used a ring rope to choke out Dibiase, officials ended the match awarding the win to Delirious and his team! Gargano needed to be helped to the back by his team. Dibiase, though, needed immediate medical attention.

Match of the Night: Booker T vs. The House of Truth

Circuit Information:
Ted Dibiase was taken away from the arena in an ambulance. When questioned about the seriousness of Dibiase's injuries, Cade couldn't comment. He also said he was unsure about The Natural Connection's future as LPW Tag Team Champions.

As a reward for Delirious winning the match for his team he will now get an opportunity of a life time. Next week he challenges Karl Anderson for the LPW Championship!

Booker T has won his long standing feud against his wife Sharmell and The House of Truth and in the process has forced all three of them out of LPW. The question still remains... can Booker T still focus on his wrestling future after his wife's betrayal?

JBL made his debut with LPW tonight and was his usual arrogant self. He was challenged by Carlito who was actually only in the building to work on a deal for a one-time appearance NEXT week. So next week, JBL has challenged Carlito to a Texas Bullrope Match to which Carlito has accepted.

Rene Dupree is quickly becoming one of the most uncontrollable guys in professional wrestling. Tonight he refused to relinquish his Bonne Nuit cobra clutch from Sabu and was disqualified! Bill Alfonso has asked for a rematch on behalf of Sabu for next week.

Speaking of Bill Alfonso he also signed a contract representing Super Crazy AND Afa Jr. to face William Regal & Giant Bernard in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. We saw tonight some mutual respect shown between Crazy & Afa Jr. but we have no idea if this kind of respect can translate into a functioning tag team. I guess we'll find out.

Rocky Romero has clearly made some people mad and disappointed others. He needs to figure out what to do and fast.

Matches announced for next week:
 * LPW Championship Match - Karl Anderson (c) vs. Delirious
 * Texas Bullrope Match - John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs. Carlito
 * Rene Dupree vs. Sabu
 * Falls Count Anywhere Match - Afa Jr. & Super Crazy vs. Giant Bernard & William Regal

LPW Week 21
The Fallout

Tonight's card starts off strong with a good ole' fashioned Texas Bullrope Match!

[Texas Bullrope Match]
Carlito beat John "Bradshaw" Layfield in 0:14:50
Rating: ** 3/4

An exciting opening contest that saw Carlito hit all 4 corners first to get the win. This is the last we'll see of him in LPW, at least for now. As for JBL, he's on board for awhile but he's off to a bad start with back-to-back losses in his first two matches.

Backstage
LPW Champion Karl Anderson is talking with Giant Bernard & William Regal. They are discussing last week's WarGames. They all agree that had they not chosen The Natural Connection as partners they could have won the match. Karl Anderson then gives their 3-man stable a name; Bad Intentions. Anderson says tonight they'll prove their intentions when he retains his Championship against Delirious and Regal & Bernard will wipe the mat with Super Crazy & Afa Jr.

Up next we have a tag team match. Danny Doring makes his way to the ring first. He gets on the microphone and says he has a new tag team partner and together they will finally achieve success in LPW. Out comes The Sandman to a chorus of boos. Their opponents, Homicide & Brian Kendrick hit the ring ready for action.

Homicide and Brian Kendrick defeated Danny Doring and The Sandman when Homicide pinned Sandman after the Ace Crusher in 0:08:10.
Rating: *** 1/4

A strong showing by Homicide & Kendrick as they further solidify their alliance with a win tonight. Doring & The Sandman will need to iron out a few kinks if they intend on continuing their partnership.

Up next, Big Daddy V slowly makes his way to the ring scaring the hell out of any fan that looks at him. Petey Williams comes out next to a good reaction. The size difference in this match is stunning.

Petey Williams defeated Big Daddy V by disqualification in 0:14:48.
Rating: 3/4*

Petey was doing well for himself as he used his quickness to get a few shots on BDV at a time. Unfortunately, BDV cornered him and mauled him like a giant bear. As the referee shouted for BDV to back away and let Petey out of the corner, BDV shoved the referee down earning himself a disqualification. The DQ announcement took BDV's focus off Petey long enough for Petey to escape. BDV still looks hungry, though.

Pre Match Promo
Lance Cade comes out with both Tag Team Championship belts. His partner, Ted Dibiase, requires some time off after WarGames and is unable to be here. Cade announces that due to Dibiase's decision to take time off he was informed that he must vacate the LPW Tag Team Championship. As the fans cheer he reluctantly hands the belts over to an official. He then goes on to say that tonight's match is a Top Contender's Match and the winning team will wrestle for the vacant Tag Team belts next week. He then introduces his NEW tag team partner... TREVOR MURDOCH!

Trevor Murdoch comes out looking mean. Then their opponents come out to a loud ovation; former Tag Team Champions Booker T & Chuck Palumbo!

[Number-One-Contenders-Match]
Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch defeated Chuck Palumbo and Booker T when Cade made C. Palumbo submit to a side headlock in 0:06:24.
Rating: **

Cade & Murdoch won tonight's match after Murdoch unlaced his boot and tossed it to Cade who promptly nailed Palumbo with it behind the ref's back. Cade then locked on a side headlock to add insult to injury. The ref checked Palumbo's arm and it fell three times awarding the win and a Top Contender's spot to Cade & Murdoch.

Cactus Jack made his way to the ring for his match, but it was never officially announced who his opponent was. The fans were quite shocked when the music of "The Generic Luchadore" EL GENERICO came on the loudspeakers!

Cactus Jack pinned El Generico with the Double Arm DDT in 0:08:06.
Rating: *** 1/2

A heavy contrast in styles resulted in one hell of a match. The fans were divided, but everyone cheered loudly in appreciation when the match was over. Afterwards, Cactus helped Generico to his feet and welcomed him to LPW.

Pre Match Promo > In Ring
Rocky Romero comes out to a chorus of boos and the fans chant "Crybaby! Crybaby" at him. Romero looks insulted and he begins throwing a tantrum in the ring. He gets on the microphone and says he wants to apologize, again, for the mess he has created. The fans continue to mock him. He then says tonight, his partner Christian York wants to wrestle him. Romero says he doesn't want to fight, he just wants to apologize and move on. Christian York comes out, tells Romero to quit crying, and then attacks him to start the match.

Christian York pinned Rocky Romero with the Inverted Cross in 0:18:41.
Rating: ***

Throughout the match, Romero would get an advantage with a dirty tactic, but then beg for mercy from York when York fired back. In the end, York was able to put away Romero with his finishing move. As Romero walked to the back, the fans mocked him with fake tears and whining.

Up next, 2/3 of Bad Intentions came to the ring; Giant Bernard & William Regal. Then, led by Bill Alfonso, the odd pairing of Super Crazy & Afa Jr. Afa seemed taken aback by the crowd cheering for him.

[Falls-Count-Anywhere Match]
Bad Intentions (Giant Bernard and William Regal) defeated Super Crazy and Afa Jr. when W. Regal pinned Crazy with his special move in 0:04:43.
Rating: ** 3/4

This was an all out brawl with no one gaining a clear advantage. In the end, Crazy took out Bernard with an impressive Asai moonsault on the floor. Meanwhile, in the ring, Regal was reaching into his tights for brass knuckles. As he winded up, Crazy slid in the ring, shoved Afa Jr. out of the way, and took the knuckles on the jaw. Regal pinned Crazy easily. As Regal & Bernard retreated as victors, Afa realized Crazy took a hit for him. He helped Crazy to his feet and it's clear now that Afa Jr. is one of the good guys!

Our semi-main event is about to begin. Rene Dupree comes out first looking as determined as ever. This time, the bandage is gone and he appears to have no scarring. Out next is Sabu as he rushes to the ring to begin the match.

Rene Dupree pinned Sabu after the Michinoku Driver in 0:14:04.
Rating: ****
[Bill Alfonso interfered against Rene Dupree.]

The heat between these two men is off the charts and the fans were on edge the entire time. Sabu nearly gained the win following a legdrop through a table but Dupree refused to be pinned. Sabu escaped the Bonne Nuit on multiple occassions and as Dupree realized he would not be able to submit Sabu this time, he ended the match with a Michinoku Driver. With no action after the match it appears that Dupree has won this feud.

Backstage Interview
Interviewer Gordon Bailey is standing with New Jack to discuss things. New Jack begins talking about his plans to rise to the top as a singles competitor when he is interrupted by John "Bradshaw" Layfield. JBL says he was actually on his way out when he heard New Jack speaking. He then says he can't imagine how anyone can even understand what New Jack is saying. JBL then reminds New Jack that he is a "wrestling god" and that New Jack is no more than a glorified street fighter. He says New Jack couldn't even lace JBL's boots. New Jack takes offense to everything coming out of JBL's mouth and challenges him to a match next week. JBL says it would be his pleasure to make an example out of New Jack.

And now it's time for YOUR MAIN EVENT! The match is one fall, scheduled for 60 minutes, and it is for the LPW Championship! Out first, the challenger, led to the ring by Daizee Haze... this is Delirious! And his opponent, the LPW Champion, Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson!

Your Main Event
[LPW Championship Match]
Delirious made Karl Anderson submit to the Cobra Stretch in 0:14:50.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Delirious won the LPW Championship.)

Here is your winner and NEW LPW CHAMPION... DELIRIOUS!

Riding the momentum from winning last week's War Games, Delirious was able to defeat Anderson and become the new LPW Champion! Anderson made an attempt to use his equalizer, a steel chair, but Daizee Haze snatched it from him before he could use it. This gave Delirious the opening he needed as he hit a back suplex and followed it up with the Cobra Stretch. Anderson couldn't escape and had to submit.

Overall: *** 1/4

Match of the Night: Karl Anderson vs. Delirious

Circuit Information:
What an exciting and surprising main event we had here tonight! Neither man was at 100% just one week after War Games but they still gave it their all. In the end, Delirious became the NEW LPW Champion!

Lance Cade was forced to vacate the LPW Tag Team titles following Ted Dibiase's decision to take time off. He then brought in an old friend of his, Trevor Murdoch, and they became contenders with their win tonight. Next week, for the LPW Tag Team Championship, they will face the team of Brian Kendrick & Homicide.

Bill Alfonso has requested a week off for his new team, Super Crazy & Afa Jr. The agenda is to get them both on the same page so when they return to action in two weeks they'll be a better team.

Rocky Romero was seen sulking in the hallway after the show. He tried to make conversation with every wrestler or official that walked by but they all ignored him.

Cactus Jack & El Generico seem to have formed a friendship following their match tonight. They have signed on for a tag team match next week and their opponents will be Danny Doring & The Sandman.

Things got a little heated tonight in the interview area between New Jack & JBL and next week they will square off one-on-one.

Matches announced for next week:
 * LPW Tag Team Championship Match - Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Brian Kendrick & Homicide
 * Booker T & Chuck Palumbo vs. Giant Bernard & William Regal
 * New Jack vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield

LPW Week 22
A New Chapter

Our event starts with Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson, the former LPW Champion, making his way to the ring looking completely disgusted and pissed off. His opponent tonight is a good friend of the man who defeated Anderson last week for the LPW Championship. Petey Williams hits the ring ready to go.

Petey Williams pinned Karl Anderson after a swinging neckbreaker in 0:02:47.
Rating: ***

Anderson tried to jump Petey as he entered the ring but Petey was ready for it. This put Anderson off his game entirely and just like that, Petey pinned Anderson in less than 3 minutes! Petey got out of dodge before Anderson even knew what happened.

Up next is a tag team match between two new teams. Out first, Danny Doring & The Sandman were on the losing end of their first match last week. Their opponents joined forces after facing each other last week in a singles match... Cactus Jack & El Generico!

El Generico and Cactus Jack defeated Danny Doring and The Sandman when Cactus Jack pinned Doring with the Double Arm DDT in 0:03:54.
Rating: ** 1/2

Generico was a bit overzealous early on and was cut off by Sandman with a running bulldog. Sandman & Doring worked well together with quick tags working over Generico but they couldn't put him away. Cactus eventually got the hot tag and after a few forearms smashes and clotheslines he was able to put away Doring with his finisher.

Making his debut in LPW, Kevin Thorn came to the ring looking like a vampire. His opponent tonight is fan favorite Christian York.

Kevin Thorn pinned Christian York after the Splash Mountain in 0:02:36.
Rating: ***

Thorn looked very impressive in his first match in LPW. York was completely off his game tonight as Thorn was able to pick him apart with ease and leave him laying with his brutal Splash Mountain powerbomb variation.

For our next match Rocky Romero heads to the ring. He is met with "Crybaby! Crybaby!" chants from the crowd and he responds by stomping on the mat and pouting. His opponent speeds past his manager Bill Alfonso towards the ring... Sabu!

Sabu pinned Rocky Romero after the springboard DDT in 0:10:58.
Rating: ** 1/2

Sabu had the early advantage with his unique offense but he missed a springboard leg lariat. This gave Romero the opportunity to capitalize. However the taunts from the fans were getting to him and eventually they cost him the match as Sabu turned the tables for the win.

Post Match
Once Romero gained his bearings he threw quite the fit. Then he got on the microphone and called to Bill Alfonso. Alfonso looked on as Romero pleaded that he needed some guidance. He built up Alfonso as the best manager in the business and that a man like Alfonso could help him get his credibility back and get back on track. Alfonso listened for a second and then blew him off and walked to the dressing room. Romero followed close behind continuing to plead for Alfonso's managerial services.

The imposing duo of Giant Bernard & William Regal come to the ring first for our next match. Their opponents come out to a round of cheers; Booker T & Chuck Palumbo!

Bad Intentions (Giant Bernard and William Regal) and Booker T and Chuck Palumbo battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: ** 3/4

A winner in this match could have easily been bumped to the Top Contenders spot in the tag team division and both teams knew this coming in. Before anyone even realized, the time limit had expired. Despite the fans best efforts to get 5 more minutes the bout was declared a draw.

Next up we have a special challenge match between JBL and New Jack...

John "Bradshaw" Layfield defeated New Jack by countout in 0:18:14.
Rating: * 1/4

Not a lot of classic mat wrestling in this match as this match mainly resembled a bar fight. Once JBL was able to get control he used a variety of throws and power moves but the resilient New Jack, with the fans support, continued to fight on. In the closing moments as the match spilled to the arena floor, JBL was able to beat the referee's count after heaving New Jack over the guardrail.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Following the count out victory JBL headed to the locker room area. Before he could make it New Jack was on the microphone calling him back to fight. JBL declined and claimed he's already won the fight. New Jack reminded JBL he never pinned him and that he doesn't think JBL could ever pin him. This enraged JBL and New Jack challenged him to a No-Countout Match next week with which JBL accepted saying he could pin New Jack's shoulders to the mat any time.

"The French Phenom" Rene Dupree heads to the ring for our next match. He looks to be in the best shape of his life. And he needs to be because his opponent tonight is "The Monster" Abyss!

Abyss defeated Rene Dupree by disqualification in 0:05:29.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Giant Bernard interfered against Abyss.]

Just as the match started picking up Giant Bernard made an appearance. He proceeded to trip Abyss, drag him out of the ring, and slam him head first into the ring post. To no one's surprise the referee immediately disqualified Rene Dupree.

Post Match Promo > In Ring
Following the disqualification Giant Bernard was joined by his fellow Bad Intentions members William Regal and Karl Anderson. All three climbed into the ring with Rene Dupree. Karl Anderson got on the microphone and proceeded to put over the talents, the achievements, and the sheer viciousness that Dupree has shown during his progression in LPW. Anderson went on to say that Dupree is no longer just a 'french phenom', but he's more like a killer! Dupree chimed in with a translation for his new nickname - "Le Français de Tueur". Lastly, Anderson named Rene Dupree THE NEWEST ADDITION TO BAD INTENTIONS!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event! It is a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match and it is for the vacant LPW Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch! Their opponents, Brian Kendrick & Homicide!

(Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch won the LPW Tag Team Championship.)

Here are your winners.... and NEW LPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!! LANCE CADE AND TREVOR MURDOCH!!

Cade tried to win a fall quickly by using his cowboy boot on Kendrick but the referee witnessed Cade's attack and promptly disqualified the team. However, from that point on Kendrick would never fully recover. He managed to hang in the match and mount small bits of offense here and there but as the match moved past the 15 minute mark he wasn't much assistance for his partner Homicide. Homicide would eventually fall victim to Murdoch's Top-Rope Bulldog not once, but twice.

Overall: ** 1/2

Match of the Night: Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Brian Kendrick & Homicide

Circuit Information:
Two weeks ago Lance Cade was forced to vacate the LPW Tag Team Championship due to Ted Dibiase's decision to take time off following WarGames. That same night he introduced his new partner, Trevor Murdoch, and tonight they became LPW Tag Team Champions!

The stable known as Bad Intentions have officially gotten stronger. Tonight they added "Le Français de Tueur", or "The Killer Frenchman", Rene Dupree who has been nothing short of tremendous thus far in LPW. Together Bad Intentions could possibly dominate LPW.

Speaking of Bad Intentions, Karl Anderson challenges Delirious for the LPW Championship next week! Delirious dethroned Anderson last week and it's quite possible that Anderson hasn't had a good night's sleep since. Delirious has expressed his concern about the rest of Bad Intentions getting involved but feels regardless of what happens he plans to remain LPW Champion.

It appears that all of Rocky Romero's begging and pleading has finally gotten to Bill Alfonso. Alfonso has signed his new tag team, Super Crazy & Afa Jr. to compete in a No-Disqualifications Match against Danny Doring & The Sandman. He also requested that Rocky Romero be named the Special Referee for the bout and that he call it right down the middle. He says that if Romero impresses him as a referee then he'll consider representing Romero in future matches.

The rivalry between New Jack and JBL is really starting to heat up. Next week they collide in a No-Countout Match!

An 8 Man Battle Royal has been signed for next week! No names have been officially added to the match but one of the 8 man will be making his LPW debut!
