ECW Lives(2001-Beyond)

MattHarmsPosted on 01/19/09 at 15:01:04

(Let's say that somehow, by a large cash windfall of some sort, Paul Heyman kept ECW(the real ECW), open past Guilty as Charged 2001. One to two shows monthly, with no television to keep my sanity as this is just a fun little side serious side project)

ECW-Extreme Football? Try Extreme Wrestling 2/3/01

Rhino pinned The Blue Boy with the Gore in 0:14:23.
Rating: * 1/2
(Rhino retained the ECW Television Title.)

The Blue Boy put in a much better fight than one could expect in this match but Rhino
was a machine. In his first of two title defenses tonight, Rhino won with the Gore and
will defend the ECW Championship against the Sandman in the main event. Heyman has said
that if Rhino has two belts, he'll have to defend them night after night but how long
can he hold on with the gold.

The Young Lions (Christian York and Joey Matthews) when DeVito pinned York
after an elbowdrop in 0:05:20.
Angel suffered an elbow injury. He will be out for approximately 1 card.
Rating: 3/4*

York and Matthews were overwhelmed tonight by Da Baldies in their attempt to get revenge
from the events of Guilty as Charged. One consolation prize is that Angel suffered an
elbow injury and will have to miss the next show because of it. Still a vicious power
bomb and elbowdrop from Devito was more than enough to put down York.

C.W. Anderson pinned Balls Mahoney with the Anderson Spinebuster in 0:11:28.

Anderson and Mahoney was far from a technical classic but C.W. wants to get back on the
winning track after some losses to Dreamer and tonight he took a step in the right
direction beating Mahoney with the Spinebuster.

Tommy Dreamer pinned Simon Diamond with the Dreamer DDT in 0:02:34.
Rating: *

Simon had a problem with Tommy Dreamer and Dreamer solved it in a quick way, beating
Simon down and pinning him with the DDT in less than three minutes. Dreamer might have
lost a few steps in speed but none in toughness. Afterwards, he challenges the winner
of Sandman and Rhino to a match at Cyberslam.

Nova and Spike Dudley defeated EZ Money and Julio Dinero when Spike pinned Money
with the Acid Drop in 0:04:54.
Rating: *

Spike and Nova win over Money and Dinero, after having their problems with the duo

Money tonight.

Mamaluke with the That's Incredible in 0:25:29.

pinned Tajiri after the Buggy Bang in 0:17:46.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Danny Doring and Roadkill retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

Doring and Roadkill were considered to be the underdogs in this encounter but they rose to the occassion and beat Tajiri and Whipwreck, a team with a bit more polish in their offense. Still the double team Buggy Bag was the end move for this battle between two great teams in the land of Extreme.

Match observations:

Little Guido has quit after the card, obviously because of some kind of dispute with management. This leaves Tony Mamaluke as the sole Full Blooded Italian for now.

ECW Cyberslam 2/24/01

Tony DeVito pinned Christian York after a crucifix power bomb in 0:01:14.

Squash victory for Tony DeVito over Christian York. This was supposed to be Da Baldies

Credible and not to mention a former ECW Champion. Coming up next, his partner Danny
Doring will square off against Steve Corino.

Steve Corino pinned Danny Doring with the Old School Expulsion in 0:23:03.
Rating: ** 1/2

Corino had a bit more luck than his partner. Still without two decisive victories, over
the World Tag Team Champions, the Living Dangerously Title Shot will go to the number
one contenders, Nova and Spike, and not the New Impact Players.

Joey Matthews and C.W. Anderson battled to a double countout in 0:08:12.
Rating: **

Joey Matthews and Anderson brawled to a rare double countout. The referee gave them
all kinds of leeway but when the brawl reached on the floor for most of the match and
both men looked to injure each other, the referee had no choice but to call for the
bell, stopping the match.

Rhino pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Gore in 0:10:00.

x time limit expired (J. Lynn and RVD) in 0:30:00
Rating: *** 1/4

It should be noted that if this was a conventional match, Lynn would have beaten Van
Dam. With that in mind, despite Lynn getting the first fall, RVD came back to win two
more. After the match, RVD gets on the microphone, announcing that he's coming after
Rhino and Heyman walks out, saying that RVD will face Rhino for the ECW Championship
at Living Dangerously on Pay Per View. Can Van Dam finally get to the top of the mountain
or will Rhino throw him down?

Rhino pinned C.W. Anderson with the Gore in 0:09:31.
Rating: * 3/4
(Rhino retained the ECW Television Title.)

Rhino wins his first title defense tonight against Anderson. So far no one has really

extended to an impressive ten months. He still has a long way to go before he breaks
RVD's record but in time he will get to it.

Justin Credible pinned Kid Kash with the That's Incredible in 0:13:01.
Rating: ** 1/2

Credible gets on the microphone after his win, throwing out a challenge to Rhino, vowing

slow start.

Tommy Dreamer pinned Jerry Lynn with the Dreamer DDT in 0:07:53.
Rating: *** 1/4

Lynn's slump continues, losing to Tommy Dreamer. Two losses to Nova and a loss to
Dreamer is not what the doctor ordered. Meanwhile Dreamer is rebounding nicely from
his crushing defeat to Rhino and wants one more run to the gold.

Steve Corino pinned Nova with the Old School Expulsion in 0:10:26.
Rating: ***

Nova could not translate his success against Jerry Lynn against Corino, who was determined
to do all of he can. The New Impact Players had started strong but they have mostly
gone their seperate ways into singles matches recent shows, the egos too much between
these two athletes.

The Sandman pinned Bam Bam Bigelow with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:11:17.

In a shocking turn of events, Sandman handed Bam Bam his first loss since returning

Devon Storm pinned Mikey Whipwreck with the Mindbender in 0:08:40.
Rating: *** 1/2

Storm scores a second win in two shows over Whipwreck, without Psicosis in the mix

have a good argument should he beat Super Crazy on Night Two.

Balls Mahoney and Chilly Willy defeated Da Baldies (Angel and Tony DeVito) when
B. Mahoney pinned DeVito with the Nutcracker Suite in 0:17:52.
Rating: 1/4*

Chilly Balls rebound with a win over Da Baldies, who are near the bottom of the heap

Kid Kash pinned Chris Hamrick with the Money Maker in 0:12:16.

at that championship.

Tommy Dreamer pinned C.W. Anderson with the Dreamer DDT in 0:09:34.
Rating: **

In their first encounter since Gulity as Charged 2001, Dreamer put down Anderson. On
the microphone, Dreamer says one thing has been haunting him and that's Rhino. At
Anarchy Rules, he wants Rhino, both titles, one title, no titles, it doesn't matter,
Dreamer wants Rhino one on one at our next Pay Per View to avenge that one minute loss.
If Dreamer can't beat Rhino, he will retire from wrestling.

men in ECW and considering that Mahoney is no slouch, he reinforced that image tonight.

his winning streak off.

Rhino pinned Tajiri with the Gore in 0:07:01.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Rhino retained the ECW Television Title.)

Both men did more with seven minutes than most men would do with twenty or thirty. Rhino
wanted to get this match done early, as he had some stiff competition in his Three Way
Main Event against the Sandman and Bam Bam Bigelow. Tajiri threw everything at the champion,
chairs, tables, stiff kicks, green mist, but a top-rope power bomb and Gore spelled
doom for his Television Title hopes and aspirations.

Dreamer and Credible will never get along. Dreamer is set up for a match with Rhino

ECW ever again.

Rob Van Dam pinned Steve Corino with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:11:00.
Rating: *** 1/4

Just as Van Dam pins Corino, Credible interjects with a singapore cane right into his
head. Van Dam is beaten down by the New Impact Players(who appear to be still together,
despite rumors to the contary), before driven down with the Spiked That's Incredible.
It looks like RVD might need some back up to deal with Credible and Corino.

in their surprise return to the company!

Tajiri pinned Bam Bam Bigelow with the Kick Of Death in 0:13:57.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title.)

To say the Beast From the East was the biggest, most dangerous opponent Tajiri had
to face would be an accurate statement. Bigelow threw Tajiri around but his never
say die attitude slowly got the fans behind him. Green mist to the eyes and kicks, before
Tajiri kicked a chair in Bigelow's face for the pin. Tajiri keeps the title one more
show with his great hard fought performance against Bigelow tonight.

The Sandman pinned Tommy Dreamer after a spinebuster slam in 0:13:01.
Rating: **

Sandman pins Dreamer but afterwards, Dreamer is pissed, mostly because the referee

him to get up and be a man, be "Extreme". Sandman is bloodied and Dreamer drops
to his knees, laughing, before saying that he's not done with the Sandman. Not yet.

Steve Corino pinned Rob Van Dam with the Old School Expulsion in 0:11:26.

This would be Van Dam's final shot at the ECW Championship as long as Corino holds
the belt and Corino triumps. Afterwards, Rhino runs out and gets him some of Corino

Unbooked, with liberal use of the "r" key, so I don't get absurdities like Chilly Willy beating Rhino with a side headlock in thirteen seconds.

And now on with the next show...

later tonight.

Nova and Paul London defeated
Simon And Swinger (Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger) when P. London pinned
S. Diamond after a flying senton in 0:08:06.
Rating: ** 3/4

Nova and London team up against Simon and Swinger on their first time out and score
the win. Diamond's hopes for a title shot go a bit awry as he is pinned again. After
the match, he cuts a scathing promo, demanding a match with Nova at Living Dangerously,
in fact a three way dance with both London and Nova to prove he is the better man. This
is naturally accepted.

New Jack pinned Tommy Dreamer with the 187 in 0:06:58.
Rating: * 1/4

The crazed Dreamer, who lost his mind, and refused to use weapons tonight, was beaten
soundly by a trash can wielding New Jack, ending with a 187 through a table. Afterwards
Dreamer cuts a crazed promo, saying that he never left, he's been here, he throws
otu challenges, he wants the belt but Sandman comes out to cane him and shut up
Dreamer's demented ramblings. These two men will collided at Living Dangerously, where
the winner gets to cane the loser ten times after the match.

Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Chilly Willy with the Greetings from Asbury Park in
          0:11:05.
Rating: ** 1/4

Chilly Willy was nothing when Bam Bam was done for. Everyone's favorite home boy gave
the former ECW World Champion a battle but the Greetings from Asbury Park folded up
the man, before the pin was scored. Bigelow has his sights set on the gold.

Justin Credible pinned The Sandman after a sitout power bomb in 0:05:53.
Rating: **

Before the match, Tommy Dreamer assaulted the Sandman, delivering a chairshot and a
Spicolli Driver through a table. Credible thanks him by caning Dreamer. He then finishes
off the Sandman, who fights back but a sitout power bomb on a chair spells the end.

Credible gets on the microphone, saying he will be ECW World Champion once again at
Living Dangerously and he reminds us that no one has held that belt as long as he had
since he won it back in 2000 and in 2002, Credible will rebuild the legacy that he
started two years ago. Corino will fall.  Still, Mikey Whipwreck, a former Triple Crown
Champion, has a chance to go for the gold, so it could be Whipwreck/Credible, as
opposed to Corino/Credible.

Tajiri pinned Rhino with the Kick Of Death in 0:07:36.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title.)

First Bigelow, now Rhino! Tajiri blocked the Gore by spitting mist in Rhino's face and
two vicious kicks. Tajiri has beaten the man who held the ECW Television Championship
for a year. It should be noted that Bam Bam Bigelow, Rhino, and Rob Van Dam will meet
in a Three Way Dance to determine a future contender for the ECW World Title and Tajiri
will put that Television Title on the line against Tony Mamaluke, all at Living Dangerously.

Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated EZ Money and Kid Romeo
when Rocco Rock pinned Romeo with the Drive By in 0:18:52.
Rating: * 3/4
(Public Enemy retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

The Public Enemy, while a bit older, still prove to retain the ECW World Tag Team Champions,
in a fight against the younger members of the roster. The Drive By put Romeo down for
the pin. This was Hot Commodity's return match, with Hamrick bailing and EZ Money
recruiting new member Kid Romeo, but sadly it was for nothing.

Steve Corino pinned Mikey Whipwreck with the Old School Expulsion in 0:03:49.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Steve Corino retained the ECW World Title.)

Whipwreck gave it a go but Corino was just too good. Afterwards, Corino talks about
how the Impact Players were a dismal failure and how Justin Credible doesn't deserve
to have the ECW Championship. At Living Dangerously, Corino will put Credible down
and keep the belt in his possession.

with the cane as a result of prematch stipulation. Out comes Mikey Whipwreck and HE
KICKS SANDMAN IN THE GROIN! Whippersnapper brings the Sandman down. whipwreck and
Dreamer exchange a handshake as they stomp Sandman, before handcuffing him to the ropes

Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) when M. Briscoe pinned Rocco Rock
after the Briscoe Bomb in 0:14:44.
Rating: *** 3/4
(The Briscoe Brothers won the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

The greatest new tag team in ECW fought perhaps the greatest team in ECW history, as
the Public Enemy fell. The PE get up, as they shake hands with the Briscoes and endorse
them. The tag team torch has been passed in the land of extreme and the Briscoes have
manned up to become a true extreme tag team. Public Enemy look pleased that they had
one more run with the belts and are content to walk off peacefully into the sunset. The
Briscoes earned that victory, crashing through several tables, before they fought back
and gave Rock and Grunge some of their own medicine. Still a hard fought win and
the Briscoe Brothers are the two time ECW World Tag Team Champions.

World Title against either Steve Corino or The Sandman at Anarchy Rulez.

Man, I just read each and every show. You did a great job to capture the ECW style booking. Bring this back
The TNM Members ChampPosted on 05/20/09 at 06:55:34

Is this booked or unbooked? I agree with the previous poster. I liked how this circuit was going and it's easy to follow. Sort of reminds me of Oliver's WWE circuit in some ways.

I think if Paul Heyman had managed to keep ECW going, he probably would've gone to a ROH like schedule with the monthly shows until he could get another television network to give him a time slot. Or maybe he would just use the internet.
MattHarmsPosted on 05/20/09 at 22:54:29

I'd say the best way to describe this circuit would be unbooked with extensive liberties. For instance, seventy five percent of the time, I take what TNM7 throws at me unless it's something stupid or I need something to turn out differently for story line purposes. For example, a manager tripping a guy two minutes into the big ECW World Title main event and causing a disqualification obviously wouldn't fly. And also I've been rather lucky that the titles haven't hot shotted around too much, with folks like Corino, Tajiri, and the Briscoes getting rather extended runs for unbooked standards with their respective titles.

And since I have a bunch of cards that I've yet to post, I decided to move through the backlog. I'm up to Guilty as Charged 2003 so let's get rolling with Anarchy Rulez 2002 as I try to work through the backlog.

Results of ECW Anarchy Rulez 9/15/02:

[Dark Match]:
Divine Storm (Chris Divine and Quiet Storm) defeated
The Young Lions (Christian York and Joey Matthews) when Quiet Storm pinned York
with the Storm Cradle Driver in 0:13:36.
Rating: ** 3/4

[Dark Match]:
Paul Burchill pinned Chilly Willy with the Curb Stomp in 0:12:31.
Rating: DUD

The Stampede Bulldogs (Harry Smith and TJ Wilson) defeated
Tony Mamaluke and Vito Lograsso when Harry pinned Lograsso with the
Stampede Powerslam in 0:15:09.
Rating: ** 1/2

The Stampede Bulldogs open up with a solid enough tag team encounter at Anarchy Rulez,
scoring a win over the New FBI and looking to cement their status in the ECW Tag Team
Title Division.

Homicide pinned Boogalou with the Cop Killa in 0:10:20.
Rating: * 3/4

Homicide won this grudge match against Boogalou, beating him handily. The Natural
Born Sinners are pretty much finished and the brutal beating that Homicide gave his
former partner seems to indicate that there will be no reunion anytime soon.

Rhino pinned Kid Romeo with the Gore in 0:14:00.
Rating: ** 3/4

Rhino decided to have fun with this extended beatdown of Romeo, pinning him with the
Gore. Romeo is someone that Rhino felt cost him the ECW World Tag Team Titles and now
Rhino has gotten his revenge, perhaps moving on to other things.

Four Corners Match:
Bryan Danielson defeated Kid Kash, Paul London and Nova:
x P. London beat Nova via the Calling London in 0:12:54
        x B. Danielson beat P. London via a cobra clutch in 0:31:16
x B. Danielson beat Kash via the Cattle Mutilation in 0:39:00
Rating: *** 1/4

Bryan Danielson wins this four way elimination match, securing himself an ECW World
Television Title Shot at November to Remember. A classic Four Way Dance between four
of the top young talents. All four men have a future of some sort, if they find a path
that works in ECW.

Justin Credible pinned The Sandman with the That's Incredible in 0:09:17.
Rating: **

The latest chapter between the Sandman and Justin Credible ends with the Sandman getting
caned and Credible pinning him, giving the Extreme Cartel a victory tonight, but they
still have two more matches to go.

The Next Generation Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and Jack Evans) defeated
The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) when Teddy Hart pinned
M. Briscoe with the Hart Attack in 0:14:10.
Rating: ***
(The Next Generation Hart Foundation won the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have new ECW World Tag Team Champions, as the Next Generation
Hart Foundation walk out with the gold tonight. An impressive back and forth encounter,
if a bit spotty in places. The Hart Attack ends the night for young Mark Briscoe and
Evans and Hart walk out, the belts wrapped firmly around their waists.

Rob Van Dam pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:09:54.
Rating: ** 1/2

Rob Van Dam has beaten Tommy Dreamer, but it did not come easy. Several chairs dented,
several tables crashed through, and a few broken bones before Van Dam hit the Van Daminator
and pinned Dreamer with the Five Star Frog Splash. Afterwards Van Dam wishes Jerry Lynn
luck, because Lynn winning the title is the only way that Van Dam will receive an ECw
World Title Shot in the future, due to him being unable to receive any more shots against
Steve Corino.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Ladder Match:
Tajiri defeated Mikey Whipwreck in 0:15:52.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title.)

Both men fought on the ladder but Tajiri spit the mist and kicked Whipwreck in the
head several times until he was knocked off the leader. Tajiri captured the belt hanging
above the ring and he is still ECW Television Champion. Danielson/Tajiri III is on tap
for November 2 Remember and perhaps this time Danielson can beat Tajiri.

Steve Corino pinned Jerry Lynn with the Old School Expulsion in 0:12:30.
Rating: ****
(Steve Corino retained the ECW World Title.)

Steve Corino remains ECW World Champion for another night. It is hard pressed to see
who could knock Corino off the mountain. He's beaten the likes of Rob Van Dam, the
Sandman, Rhino, Justin Credible, and Bam Bam Bigelow, now adding Jerry Lynn to the list
of this storied title reign.

Match observations:
The TNM Members ChampPosted on 05/21/09 at 03:27:07

Do you have strict pushes on? Maybe that's why? Or maybe they are just strong champions like you said. Glad to see another card. It'll be interesting to see all the ROH guys being integrated because more than likely, that's how it really would've gone had ECW remained operating.

Paul Burchill pinned Tony Mamaluke with the Curb Stomp in 0:07:18.
Rating: ** 1/4

The Young Lions (Christian York and Joey Matthews) and
Simon And Swinger (Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger):

looking good and they have a chance to knock off the champions.

the Whippersnapper. Afterwards, Nova comes out and gets into it with Whipwreck, setting
up a match as part of Night Two of the Big Ass Extreme Bash.

Nova pinned Kid Romeo with the Kryptonite Krunch in 0:09:32.

Speaking of Nova, he beats Kid Romeo tonight. Romeo throws a fit and promises to take
it to the tag team division, with a partner he knows he will have some success with
and has his sights set on those ECW World Tag Team Titles.

The Next Generation Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and Jack Evans) defeated
The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) when J. Evans pinned
J. Briscoe after a 450 splash in 0:14:38.
Rating: *** 3/4
(The Next Generation Hart Foundation retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

A pretty good return match for the Briscoe Brothers and the Next Generation Hart Foundation,
with Jay Briscoe missing a flying legdrop and Jack Evans pulling out a 450 Splash for
the pin. Tommorow night, Evans and Hart will defend the belts against Divine Storm
and the winners of that match go onto November 2 Remember against The Stampede Bulldogs.

Tajiri pinned Homicide with the Kick Of Death in 0:09:50.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title.)

Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title against Homicide, nearly kicking his head off.
Bryan Danielson watched from the ramp, he still wants a piece of Tajiri and the ECW
Television Title, at November 2 Remember. Tajiri will put the belt on the line but
as of right now, we don't have an opponent.

Sabu and Rob Van Dam defeated Tommy Dreamer and Justin Credible when RVD pinned
Dreamer after the Rolling Thunder in 0:14:27.
Rating: ** 1/4

Rob Van Dam's partner against the Extreme Cartel turned out to be the returning Sabu,
beating Dreamer and Justin Credible. Sabu looked like he had not missed a beat and
we understand his intentions are having his sights set on the ECW World Championship
Belt. Tonight, we are going to have a return match from Anarchy Rulez in the main
event between Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino.

The Sandman pinned Rhino with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:08:11.
Rating: *** 1/4

Rhino's Gore was blocked by a Singapore Cane shot and the Sandman delivered the White
Russian Legsweep for the pin. The Sandman looked surly and mean and he has his sights
set for the ECW World Championship in the not so distant future.

Steve Corino pinned Jerry Lynn with the Old School Expulsion in 0:17:44.
Rating: ***
(Steve Corino retained the ECW World Title.)

Corino scores the win and retains the ECW World Title. He looks like he may remain
champion some time, as he is going on his second year as champion, all he needs to do
is make it past November 2 Remember as champion.

Rating: *** 1/2

The Briscoe Brothers get back into the tag team rankings, beating Nova and London tonight,

The Sandman pinned Mikey Whipwreck with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:12:18.
Rating: ** 3/4

ECW stalwalts and the Extreme Cartel took place tonight.

Rhino pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Gore in 0:05:01.
Rating: *** 3/4

Rhino destroys Tommy Dreamer with the Gore. After a hot start, the Extreme Cartel
look to be fading. Maybe with the return of Bam Bam Bigelow coming up, the Cartel
will rise back up over the top but right now, their prospects for success seem rather
grim.

his own.

An awesome match, with London and Homicide battling for a chance to move up the singles
rankings in the land of Extreme. London ducked a lariat, hit the dropsault and hit

but the official recorded victory goes with Paul London

Rating: ** 3/4
(The Next Generation Hart Foundation retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

A slightly underwhelming match, mostly because of time restraints and lack of experience,

The Extreme Cartel really turned things around in a big way, with Justin Credible

Prime Time pinned Mamaluke with the Play of the Day in 0:18:43.
Rating: ** 1/2

Elix Skipper and Kid Kash were thrown together, and they showed some promise as a tag
team tonight. Skipper says ECW is about to get a dose of Prime Time and says that Hot
Commodity is a thing of the past. Kash has been lost in the shuffle recently, showing
some promise a couple of years ago but really falling through the cracks. Perhaps a
team with a hot young newcomer like Elix Skipper will help push him towards the top.

Simon Diamond pinned Chilly Willy with the Simonizer in 0:12:39.
Rating: **

Diamond gets the win, appearently avenging the injury that Swinger suffered at the hands
of Chilly Willy but Diamond says he's cutting all ties loose from Swinger, he should
have done it a long time ago. All those times that Simon said he had a problem, well
that problem with Swinger. Simon vows to become the ECW Television Champion but no
word on when he'll take his chance at that belt.

Paul Burchill pinned Christian York with the Curb Stomp in 0:14:50.

Rating: ** 3/4

Credible has an ECW World Title Shot secured in January at Gulity as Charge and the

now TJ Wilson and Harry Smith are the ECW World Tag Team Champions.

Tajiri defeated Tommy Dreamer by disqualification in 0:03:53.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Tajiri retained the ECW Television Title.)

What could cause a disqualification in ECW? Oh nothing less than Bam Bam Bigelow
making his return from an injury and trying to bash Tajiri's brains in with a cast iron
skillet. When Tajiri was in danger of suffering permanent injury, the referee made
a judgement call and disqualified Dreamer. Not that it mattered with Bam Bam Bigelow,
who worked over Tajiri's arm, trying to put Tajiri on the shelf like he did to the
Beast From the East! Bigelow isn't as interested in the ECW World Television Title
as he is in Tajiri's blood!

Rhino and Steve Corino defeated Sabu and Rob Van Dam when Rhino pinned RVD
with the Gore in 0:15:50.
Rating: *** 3/4

J. Briscoe after the Stereo Top_Rope Legdrop in 0:14:29.

Two wins in a row for Quiet Storm, who now are cocky enough. The Briscoe Brothers

accept, making a proclamation that they will beat the Briscoes in two straight falls.

Tommy Dreamer pinned New Jack with the Dreamer DDT in 0:05:21.

Dreamer won through devious means, using a staple gun on New Jack and delivering a

in two weeks time for a tables match. Kash might be biting off more than he can chew,

off some tough competition in ECW.

past another show, beating another former ECW World Champion in the process.

Delirious pinned Elix Skipper with the Shadows Over Hell in 0:13:27.
Rating: ** 1/4

Two wins by Delirious and it's obvious now that the unique newcomer has Elix Skipper's

Rating: *** 3/4

Christopher Daniels wins tonight's four way match, to pick up an ECW Television Title

off of his Television Title pedestal since the Japanese superstar has won the belt
from Tommy Dreamer in late 2001. Will Daniels have better luck? Meanwhile there
is some heat between Diamond and Danielson based off of Diamond scoring a rare
pinfall win over Bryan Danielson.

Rating: ****
(Rhino retained the ECW World Title.)

Tajiri tried to reach the same milestone that Rhino has in the past, holding the ECW
World and Television Titles simultaneously, but Rhino proved why he was the only man
to reach that mark, matching Tajiri move for move, strike for strike, and finishing him
off with the Gore. Jerry Lynn and Rhino for the ECW World Title and Tajiri has to put
his ECW Television Title on the line against Christopher Daniels at Hardcore Heaven.

M. Briscoe with the That's Incredible in 0:14:49.
Rating: ****

Two straight wins over the Briscoes by Credible and Dreamer, but this time the

another round with the Extreme Cartel.

Homicide wins against Kid Kash, who continues a bit of a slump. Kash had a bit of

Rating: **** 1/4
(Christopher Daniels won the ECW Television Title.)

Daniels has done it. He's ended the ECW Television Title reign of Tajiri and continues
his undefeated streak in ECW. The Last Rites proved doom for Tajiri and his title reign.
Seventeen months on top as champion is nothing to sneeze at but a new man reigns as
ECW Television Champion and that man is Christopher Daniels.

Rating: ****
(Paul Burchill and Nigel McGuinness won the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

Two for two with new champions as Burchill and McGuiness win this match, vicious
Curb Stomping the face of Jack Evans, leading to the victory. We understand this was
the last match for Jack Evans in ECW for some time, as he has only agreed to work
until he's lost the belt and thus has been working without a contract. Will Teddy
Hart try to regain the belts with a new partner or will he go onto attempt for singles
glory? Only time will tell.

that match gets the winner of Raven/RVD after that.

Burchill and Nigel retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles against London and Nova

Elix Skipper defeated Tony Mamaluke and the odd Delirious to win this three way dance.
Prime Time has had a shaky record in ECW, but scoring a win over two men should really

Nigel McGuiness lost pretty quickly tonight, due to a bad bump he suffered on his

Rob Van Dam for a match at Heatwave! That should be an impressive one!

Jerry Lynn pinned Steve Corino with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:12:51.
