As the show opens, Commissioner Roberts walks into Sonny Siaki's locker room.
JR: Well, well, well, there's my boy. How ya doin' tonight Sonny?
SS: What is now Jake? Are you finally gonna give me my main event spot?
JR: Well that's up to you, my man. I mean, last week you did it again. You impressed the hell out of me. And if you can do it just one more time, you may just be looking at your main event.
SS: What do I need to do this time?
JR: Well, since you asked, I need you to go out there tonight with a match that will have people on the edge of their seats. A hardcore rules, no dq, no countout Strap Match.
SS: And if I do this, I get my match finally?
JR: If you do this for me, I will make a special announcement regarding your status for next week later tonight.
SS: Well, then I guess we have another deal. Just make sure that you don't screw me over.
JR: Oh trust me Sonny. I'd never do that.

Petey Williams pinned Johnny Devine with the Canadian Destroyer in 0:03:45.

The camera opens on IPW Commissioner: Jake Roberts at his desk.
JR: Last week I announced that very soon there will be a 6 man elimination match for the IPW Heavyweight Title. I also announced 4 of the 6 men that will be taking part. Next week, another participant will be named. He will be the winner of a fourway elimination match. The 4 men involved will be Sonny Siaki, Paul London, Hardcore Holly, & Ryan O'Reilly. Those 4 will face off in a pair of single's matches tonight to show the fans just what to expect next week. Good luck gentlemen, you'll need it. And as for the other 4 men that I had already scheduled for that big 6 man match, tonight's main event will be a Triple Threat match. The match will be Rob Van Dam vs Ruckus vs Matt Bentley. I said the 4 of you because you, Christian York, will be the special referee. Like it or not.

Team Macktion (Kirby Mack and TJ Mack) defeated Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 and Halloween) when TJ Mack defeated Damien 666 by countout in 0:09:31.

Becky Bayless and Joey Matthews come down to the ring.
BB: Last week, this man (points at Matthews) came out here with a mission. That mission was to be included in the 6 man match in 2 weeks. Now we still haven't heard a word from the commissioner about it, so we are going to have to prove our point again this week. So, on behalf of Mr. Matthews, I am issuing an open challenge to any man in the back to come out here now & face him in another "Unsanctioned" Match.
Rhett Titus runs out & attacks Matthews as Bayless quickly exits the ring.

LV: Sonny, last week you teamed up with Jonny Devine & defeated the IPW Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. Could this be a sign of things to come?
SS: Well, I did score the victory last week, for my team. Now, I've on a roll & ready since I got to IPW and Jake Roberts knows a true star when he sees one. So, it just a matter of time before "The Ace" has gold around his waist.

Lizzy Valentine is backstage with Ryan O'Reilly.
LV: Mr. O'Reilly, you heard the commissioner's message earlier about next week's fourway elimination match. How do you feel about having to face 3 other men to get into the big 6 man match in 2 weeks?
RO: How do I feel? Lizzy, I feel like this is just another way for someone to try & screw me out of something that I've been working my whole life for. Tonight, I have to try an "impress" the commissioner. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I don't have to impress anyone. I've earned everything that I've gotten in life, and I deserve to be in not only that match next week, but the 6 man elimination match for the IPW Title in 2 weeks as well. And tonight, I get to prove it by beating beating down that fossil Bob Holly again.
Ryan O'Reilly pinned Hardcore Holly with the Roughshot in 0:11:57.

The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) defeated The Hardcore Chair Swingin' Freaks (Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney) when C. Stevens defeated A. Rotten by disqualification in 0:06:29.

Lizzy Valentine is backstage with Ruckus.
LV: Ruckus, last week you and Rob Van Dam got into an arguement over who should be the IPW Champion.
R: That's right. RVD thinks that I cost him the title afew weeks back when I was actually trying to help him get that belt off Christian York. Now, it's going to come down to who can survive a 6 man elimination match in 2 weeks. Not only that but 2 of the men taking part in that match aren't even known yet. But it won't matter because when the smoke clears, I'll be standing tall as the new IPW Champion. And tonight, not even Christian York himself being the special referee can stop me from dominating both Matt Bentley or RVD.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match with Special Referee Christian York:
Matt Bentley defeated Ruckus and Rob Van Dam when Bentley pinned RVD with the Head On Collision in 0:14:29.

After the match: Matt Bentley & Christian York start beating down RVD. Ruckus tries to come to his ai, but, Joey Matthews comes charging to the ring with a chair. He knocked Ruckus down with a shot to the head. York, Bentley, & Matthews stand tall in the ring as RVD & Ruckus get out of the ring. Suddenly Matthews turned around & levels Bentley with a stiff chair shot. Matthews turns to York & the 2 former partners look at eachother & laugh. They shake hands, but, when York goes to pull away, Matthews drops the chair & hits the Snapshot on the champion. The camera fades out on the final scene of Matthews being the only one standing in the ring surveying the carnage he just caused as Becky Bayless laughs from outside the ring.

Match Observations:
Christian York made sure that Matt Bentley won the Triple Threat match tonight by fast counting Ruckus' shoulders down. Will York survive the 6 man elimination match in 2 weeks? Or did his help inadvertantly give Bentley the needed momentum to take his IPW Title?

And what about the 2 mystery men yet to be named for the match? Will these wildcards be the determining factor in who is IPW Champion?

Joey Matthews made it known he wants to be IPW Champion. Did his display of violence get the attention of the commissioner tonight?

The Naturals got a non title victory over Axl & Balls. Will it translate to tag team gold soon?

Petey Williams & Johnny Devine delighted the crowd tonight & they aren't done with eachother yet. Next week, they'll face off again..

Love the idea of Jake Roberts being a GM. Can you explain what you're doing with these heat changes?

It goes back to the "What If" topic in the discussion section. The title of the scenario was "Put Up Or Shut Up".

All the guys started out with a basic heat rating depending on their size & notoriety. The changes are how TNM has them naturally evolving over time.
