GCCW is a circuit that is in the same universe as CCW

Gold Coast Championship Wrestling
"Origins"
1/2/11 The Event Center
San Jose, California

Gold Coast Championship Wrestling had their debut event at the Event Center on the campus of San Jose State University. Owner Chris Mindanao was to say a few words but Matt Hardy came down to the ring. He told the crowd that he wanted to clear some things up before the rumors started. He being in GCCW is not a step back. He continued by saying that he has been all over the world and won multiple championships. Everywhere he has gone he had to carry the dead weight of his brother Jeff. Not here. He will prove to the critics that he can win without Jeff and carry a promotion. He finished by saying that no one in the back has the talent to carry a promotion and that's why Mindanao called him and that's why he will be walking away with the GCCW Heavyweight title.

Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream Jr.) defeated

Investor's Corner

Gold Coast Championship Wrestling's inaugural event was more successful than one could hope for. Expecting a loss, Ticket sales were 67% with 3,350 in attendance. Merchandising was also better than expected with the big seller being the Matt Hardy "Rebel" print shirts. Whenever a profit is made you have to consider the event a success. Next month GCCW will be at the Kaiser Convention Center, A bigger venue but management believes they can duplicate the success of "Origins".

Teddy Hart was in the ring with the GCCW Heavyweight title around his waist. He tells the crowd that last week was one hell of fight. Many battled but only one came out Heavyweight champion. The crowd started to cheer when Matt Hardy came down to the ring. Hardy tells Hart that it should have been him walking away with the title, He was the one chosen to lead the band of misfits back in the locker room. He then tells Hart to enjoy the last hours of his brief title run.

Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream Jr.) defeated
The New Hart Foundation (D.H. Smith and TJ Wilson) when Hijo del Ice Cream
pinned TJ after a suplex into a powerslam in 0:10:52.
Rating: * ¾

Once again D.H. Smith didn't wait till after the announcements and dropped Hijo del Ice cream to the mat. Smith used his power and worked over Ice Cream. After what seemed like forever, Ice Cream was able to tag out to Ice Cream Jr. The fresher Ice Cream was able to swing the momentum back over to their side. Jr. tagged back out to Hijo who hit a suplex into a powerslam and pick up the win.

Chuck Taylor made Sweet Papi Sanchez submit to a cobra clutch in 0:12:38.
Rating: *

Big Papi was being chanted to the discus of Chuck Taylor who told the crowd to shut up. This only made them chant louder. Taylor decided to take it out on Sanchez. Taylor wore down the bigger Sanchez leading up to locking on the cobra clutch for the win. Taylor then got on the microphone and told the crowd that when he says shut up, he means shut up.

2.0 (Jagged and Shane Matthews) defeated
The Best Around (TJ Cannon and Bruce Maxwell) when S. Matthews pinned B. Maxwell
after a German suplex in 0:08:55.
Rating: * ½

Jagged and Shane Matthews before the match took issue with Cannon and Maxwell calling themselves "The Best Around" then went about kicking the stuffing out of Cannon and Maxwell. Whenever Cannon or Maxwell showed some spark, 2.0 ended it quickly.

Buck Hawke defeated Eric Young by countout in 0:15:38.
Rating: ** 1/4

Buck Hawke was one of the final four last week in the Gold Rush and Eric Young wanted to show Hawke that last week was a fluke. This one spilled onto the floor and the two fought all around the Kaiser Center. With the referee counting Hawke slammed Young into the guard rail then climbed onto the top rope and hit the Tomahawk. Young was out cold as Hawke crawled into the ring just under the 10 count.

Sean Waltmen pinned Jamie Noble with the 6-Factor in 0:11:32.
Rating: ***

Last week Jamie Nobel's rollover ended Waterman's hope of winning the title and Waterman made sure Nobel would pay for that. Nobel stepped up and battled Waltman the entire match but Nobel missed elbow opened the door for Waltmen to hit the 6-Factor for the win.

Mike Quackenbush pinned Robbie Ellis with the Quackendriver in 0:10:17.
Rating: * 1/4

Robbie Ellis believed he could have progressed further in the Gold Rush if it was not for Mike Quackenbush who he believes pushed him into Sweet Papi Sanchez who then quickly eliminated him. A decent match but Quackenbush was obviously the better tonight and finished off Ellis quickly.

Teddy Hart defeated Matt Hardy by disqualification in 0:06:52.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Teddy Hart retained the GCCW Heavyweight Title.)

For some reason true or not, Matt Hardy believes that he was personally picked to be the face of GCCW. With Teddy Hart holding the title Hardy has no leg to stand on. The match was competitive for maybe five minutes when Matt Hardy seemed to snap and attack not only Hart but the referee, the time keeper and anyone else that was around the ring. Even after the attack on the referee he was given a chance to continue the match. Hardy slid out the ring and grabbed a chair and went to work on the champ. The referee tried to take the chair from hardy but received a chair shot for his efforts. Two more officials came down to the ring and called the match. Hardy was escorted from the ring as the medical staff checked on Hart.

Live Wire

Welcome to Live Wire.

Buck Hawke spectacular Tomahawk off the top rope onto Jamie Noble on the arena floor helped him get the count out win but may have hurt Hawke more than Noble. Hawke tore his left Triceps and will need surgery to repair.

Matt Hardy's actions at "Fallout" have cost him $10 grand and the full attention of GCCW Heavyweight champion Teddy Hart. Hart demanded a rematch with Hardy at next month's event. If Hardy was looking for a fight he has one now, as they say be careful what you wish for you might just get it.

Investors Corner

With the success of "Origins" last month, GCCW had high hopes for "Fallout" in Oakland. Well unfortunately things were grim from the start. The promotions department decided to go more with word of mouth advertising and skipped the major radio promo that obviously was successful last month. Less than 40% of available tickets were sold leaving more than half of the Kaiser Center empty. Management has put the promotions department on notice, Improvements must be made for the March event or heads will roll.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The best Around has yet to live up to their name and tonight they wanted to make a statement. Shane Storm and Jigsaw were also looking to say something, "Hire us." Just like the last two weeks TJ Cannon and Bruce Maxwell just couldn't get things going and were unable to put away the GCCW hopefuls.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Teddy Hart was in the ring holding his bandaged ribs and the GCCW Heavyweight title over his shoulder. He tells the crowd that he has had the last month to think about the attack from Matt Hart and that even though he has been advised not to wrestle; there was nothing that was going to stop him from facing Hardy tonight. Matt Hardy then started to make his way to the ring. He started by saying that Hart was a joke. He then asked if Hart seriously thought he was main event martial. Hardy entered the ring and continued talking. Hardy brought up the fact that Hart was fired twice from the WWE, other wrestlers think he is a danger to himself and others and that he has bounced around more than a bad check. Hardy continued by saying during that same time, He ran his own promotion, headlined around the world and has been a world champion. Hardy then asked if Hart still believed he should be the face of Gold Coast Championship Wrestling.

Hart responded by saying that all that matters is that right here and right now the belt across his shoulder says yes. The crowd cheering only agitated Hardy and jumped the injured Hart. Officials cleared the ring as Hart laid in the ring holding his side. Hart does not look in any condition to wrestle.

Investors Corner

After the disappointing turnout for "Fallout" Management was not sure what to expect for this Month. Early ticket sales were promising and learning from their mistakes from last month, promotions pushed the advertising budget to its limit. Radio and print ads hyping the show seemed to push ticket sales over the 70% mark. Needless to say, management was pleased with the numbers this month.

Karl Anderson pinned Jamie Noble with the Gun Stun in 0:14:21.
Rating: *** ½

Jamie Noble, one of the more popular and talented wrestlers in GCCW ran into an upset powerhouse known as "Machine Gun" Anderson. A great match as Noble did everything he could but Anderson was not going down. Anderson locked on the Gun Stun and that was all.

Anderson then told the crowd that they just witnessed one of the greatest wrestlers in history. He then said that people thought that he was done after being fired from that poor excuse of a promotion down in Southern California. He said he wasn't going to name them but let's just say their initials are the same as Cheesy Crappy Wrestling. And that whoever wins tonight's main event, will damn sure be seeing him again.

Next month's event "Attitude" will once again be at the Kaiser Center in Oakland California. Tickets will go on sale this Monday and can be purchased at the box office or you local 7 Eleven.

Eric Young was scheduled to face Karl Anderson and Akira Raijin in a three corners match in the second round of the contender's tournament. Things have changed when a very upset Matt Hardy demanded that he be entered into the tournament to get another shot at Teddy Hart. Hardy will now face Young and Akira Raijin will face Anderson.

Speaking of, Karl Anderson seemed to have sparked a "war of words" with Southern California promotion California Championship Wrestling. Chris Hero, CCW's Heavyweight Champion was reported to have called GCCW a 2nd tier promotion. Chris Mindanao, Gold Coast Championship Wrestling's owner and CEO responded by saying that

"Yes GCCW is new but 2nd tier we are not. Attendance has grown at each event and people are excited about what we are putting out. In fact we have been invited many times to do shows in LA and San Diego because many feel that honestly we can do better. We appreciate the vote of confidence but as of now we have no plans to run shows in southern California."

With their impressive win last week, Ronnie Amadoro and Sean Eps have received a bye for next month's Tag team tournament. They will face the winner of the ShanSaw/New Hart Foundation match.

GCCW Heavyweight champion Teddy Hart is taking a much needed break to heal up after his match last month but because he not wrestling does not mean he will not be in attendance. Matt Hardy's attack and theft of the title will be addressed by Hart and Management in Oakland.

"Investors Corner"

He then called out Hardy to return the GCCW Heavyweight title.

Hardy came to the ring with the Heavyweight title around his waist. He tells Hart that this is what a real champion should look like. He then tells the crowd that after he wins the contenders tournament, the sight of him with the title will be a regular thing. He then looks at the belt one more time then tries to hit Hart with it. Live Wire

Last month, Disco Inferno and Disco Machine walked away from Oakland the new GCCW Tag team Champions. Shane Storm and Jigsaw believing they could have won if not for the extra match, asked for a rematch at "Heat".

Natalia Niedhart told live wire that GCCW is about to experience a Hart attack. Billy Kidman has joined The Foundation. She also put her cousin GCCW Heavyweight Champion Teddy Hart on notice. Either he comes aboard now are pay for it later.

Jamie Noble, Mike Quackenbush and Chuck Taylor have been trying to one up each other for months now so at "Heat" Noble challenge them for bragging rights. Noble will face both Quackenbush and Taylor in single matches. Both men agreed and each predicted they would be the winner.

Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy and Sean Waltman have two things in common one, they all want a shot at the GCCW title and second they hate the gust referee for their match. It should be interesting since the winner will face Hart at "Red White Black and Blue".

This is one of those occasions where a loss is a gain. With all the talent brought in for "Attitude" a loss was expected, but since the event was such a success management was not upset. "To make money you have to spend money". "Heat looks to be shaping up nicely.

Live Wire

Welcome to Live wire. Billy Kidman who made his debut at "Heat" called the Hart Foundation's victory over Los Ice Creams and Eric Young a "joke". Kidman told Live Wire that Eric Young was talentless and to prove it challenged Young to a match at "Red White Black and Blue" Young laughed off Kidman's comment and said will see in July.

Last Month Mike Quackenbush, Jamie Noble and Chuck Taylor battled in a round robin to see who the better wrestler was. After all was said and done it ended up a three way tie. Since Chuck Taylor will not be able to compete in July because of an injury suffered at "Heat", Noble and Quackenbush will compete in an Iron Man match.

Buck Hawke returning from injury will be in action and have left a signed contract in the GCCW office. He told Live Wire he wanted to prove that he is at 100% and doesn't care who he faces in July.

Bruce Maxwell and TJ Cannon who both won their single matches believe they have worked out the problems they had as a team and want a shot at the GCCW tag team titles. GCCW told the two to slow down and scheduled them to face the team of 2.0 Jagged and Shane Mathews.

Matt Hardy was able to outlast Sean Waltman and Karl Anderson and will once again get a shot at Teddy Hart and his GCCW Heavyweight title. Since this is "Red White Black and Blue" the challenger gets to pick the match and Hardy has picked a match he claims he innovated, a ladder match. Hardy told Live Wire that Hart has no chance leaving San Francisco Heavyweight champion.

Investors Corner

Management was baffled with the turnout at "Heat" because all early indications pointed towards a huge turnout. Only 1800 filled the Event center so much of the arena was empty. Contracts time has arrived and Management has been informed to get payroll in hand. Tough decisions will be made next month and changes will be unavoidable.

Live Wire

Welcome to GCCW Live Wire. Last month under the stars in San Francisco, GCCW presented Red, White, Black and Blue and fallout of that event will carry over to Burn Out. GCCW Management has announced that they have hired a new Operations Manager and will announce him next month in Sacramento.

Eric Young requested another shot at Kidman since it was Natalya interference, not Kidman that was the difference in the match. He promised a different outcome next month.

Karl Anderson who answered Buck Hawke's open challenge last month has demanded a match against GCCW Champion, Teddy Hart. He told Live Wire that it is obvious that Matt Hardy doesn't have what it takes to be a champion and it is time for him to step aside and let a real man do the work.

Bruce Maxwell was upset that he was left out to dry by tag team partner TJ Cannon. Maxwell has left an open signed contract for Cannon for a match at Burn Out. Maxwell added that the loser leaves GCCW. Cannon through his agent has told Live Wire that he will sign the contract and accept the terms. He also added that one reason why they never could click as a tag team is because of Maxwell's lack of skill.

Mike Quackenbush who destroyed Jamie Noble 14-2 last month's Iron Man match will faced Chuck Taylor in a no time limit, falls counts anywhere match to put to rest who is the better wrestler. Jamie Noble said he will be at ringside "just for the Hell of it."

Akira Rajin has told GCCW that he enjoyed his time in GCCW and would like to have one more match before he returns to Japan. Who he will face has not been finalized yet but Live Wire has been told it will be a match to remember.

A four team four corners match will take place it Burn Out. The winner of the match will get a shot at the champs next month, who will be in action as well as they face Los Ice Creams in non title action.

Gold Coast Championship Wrestling
"Burn Out"
The Convention Center
Sacramento, CA
8/06/11

GCCW owner Chris Mindanao welcomed the crowd to "Burn Out". Mindanao told the crowd that in the 8 months that GCCW has been in operation he has heard nothing but positive reviews. Unfortunately positive feedback has not translated to financial stability. He continued by saying that even though GCCW is a labor of love it is also a business and like all businesses the most important thing is the bottom line. Mindanao told the crowd with that in mind he has hired a Operations Manager who would have total control of GCCW and would only answer to him. Mindanao finished up by saying that to make money you have to spend money and this gentleman was a heavy investment. He then introduced GCCW new Operations Manager...Eric Bischoff!

The crowd came to their feet as Bischoff made his way to the ring. He and Mindanao shook hands then Mindanao left the ring. Bischoff thanked Mindanao and then told the crowd that starting next month GCCW as you know it will change. Starting in January 2012, GCCW will start broadcasting locally on KGMC-TV. Bischoff then told the crowd that starting tonight every wrestler under contract has been put on notice, Only the best will continue to wrestle for GCCW, those who don't make the cut can go and wrestle on that rag of a promotion CCW! He thanked the crowed for coming, and to look forward to the new Gold Coast Championship Wrestling.

Four determined teams were looking to break away from the pack and become number one contenders for the GCCW tag team titles. Natalya was confident that her boys were going to win but ever since they arrived in GCCW, Shane Storm and Jigsaw have been a thorn in the Foundations plans of tag team superiority. Jigsaw suicide plunge off the top rope onto the ring floor took out all three members of The New Hart Foundation leaving Storm to hit that Japanese Move on Shane Matthews to pick up the big win.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Karl Anderson came to the ring dressed for action. He once again calls out Teddy Hart. He tells the crowd that he will continue to come out here until Hart shows some guts and face him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bruce Maxwell pinned TJ Cannon with the 450 Splash in 0:21:38.
Rating: ** ¾

TJ Cannon has some choice words for his former tag team partner but Bruce Maxwell was not listing. Maxwell took out his frustrations on Cannon but Cannon fought back, at one point mocking Maxwell and yelling at him in the ring. Cannon's missed clothesline gave Maxwell the opening he needed and kicked Cannon in the midsection. With Cannon down, Maxwell climbed the ropes and executed a 450 splash for the win.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream Jr.) defeated
That 70s Team (Disco Inferno and Disco Machine) when Hijo del Ice Cream

So did Shane Storm and Jigsaw who came down to the ring. Disco Inferno and Shane Storm jawing became physical when he pulled the rope and Disco Machine flew over the top rope. All hell broke loose as the referee had no choice but to call the match.

------------------------------------------------------------

Akira Rajin signed up for one more match before he returned to Japan and tonight he got a shot at the self proclaimed "Main Event" Matt Hardy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eric Young pinned Billy Kidman with the Young Blood Neckbreaker in 0:08:52.

Kidman looked to make it two straight over Young but it was Young who got the last laugh. A great match up but Young's power was too much for Kidman.

-----------------------------------------------------

Karl Anderson came back to the ring this time he was dragging Natalya. He told the crowd that he requested then asked now he is demanding that Hart face him tonight or poor Natalya was going to have one serious headache in the morning.

This brought out Hart who finally came to the ring. He told Anderson that even though he and his cousin has had issues he was not going to let Anderson or anybody mess with his family. Anderson told Hart that all he had to do was wrestle him and no one in his family would. Hart agreed and the non title match was on.

-------------------------------------------------------

Karl Anderson pinned Teddy Hart with the Gun Stun in 0:10:50.
Rating: *** 1/4

Anderson and Hart went at each other and held back nothing. Anderson was all over Hart who fought his way back each time it looked like he was down. Just when Hart was about to go for the Open Hart Surgery, Natalya pushed Hart off the ropes. Then Anderson hit the Gun Stun for the win.
