- Tonight The Road Warriors will defend their World titles. Sgt. Slaughter and Ric Steamboat will battle it out and in the main event. World Champion Dusty Rhodes will take on "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the steel cage.


Koko B. Ware vs. Curt Hennig

- There are few wrestlers hotter then the "Birdman" Koko B. Ware and tonight he faced Curt Hennig. A great opening match with lots of action leading to the B. Ware to hit the Ghostbuster for the win.

Winner: Koko B. Ware with the Ghostbuster in 0:15:50.

- Ric Steamboat and Randy Savage are talking about the main event. Savage talks about winning the world title but Steamboat tells Savage that once he wins he better remeber their agreement.



World Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) vs. Kato Kung Lee and Jim Jamison

- There have been few teams that can or have challenged the world champs and tonight was no different. Jamison and Lee did put up a little fight but in the end it was the Road Warriorrs leaving Gainesville still the champions.

Winner: The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) with a sunset flip in 0:15:40.

(The Road Warriors retained the World Tag Team Titles.)


- World Champion Dusty Rhodes talks about defending his World title then taking Ric Steamboat to shed for all the trouble he's caused.



Magnum T.A. vs. Barry Horowitz

- Allan and Horowitz put on a great match with Horowitze getting a few near falls. T.A was able to ware down Horowitz and get the win.

Winner: Magnum T.A. with the Belly-to-Belly Suplex in 0:15:25.

Invaders #1 and #3 (Invader #1 and Invader #3) vs. Rhythm'n'Blues (Greg Valentine and Honky Tonk Man)

- The Invaders got the best of Hart's boys last week and were looking to make 2 ina row. This one went back and forth till late in the match Invader #1 hit the hart punch.

Winners:Invaders #1 and # 3 with the Heart Punch in 0:19:13.

Sgt. Slaughter vs. Rick Steamboat

- Slaughter has taken the betrayal of Steamboat personal and last week lit into him right after Steamboat was eliminated so there was no surprise when Steamboat was granted this match. Te Gainesville crowd choose sides in this one with both men getting there share of boos. Slaughter took control when Steamboat was heading towards the corner for his finisher. Steamboat fell from the top rope and fell onto the concrete floor. Slaughter went out and continued attack steamboat when the ref reached the 10 count.

Winner: Double countout in 0:12:14.
Rating: ***


- With the constant interference by Steamboat and Flair, the championship committee decided to make this a cage match. The crowd buzzed as the cage was set up and were set for our main event.



No-Time-Limit-Cage Match:
Randy Savage vs. World Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes


- This match was brutal and bloody and by the time it was over both men was covered in blood. Savage was able to get the advantage when he hit the Flying Elbowdrop from the top of the cage. With the champ out Savage slowly climbed the cage and made it to the outside, stunning the Gainesville crowd as Savage becomes the new WCWC World Champion.

Winner: Randy Savage by escaping the cage in 0:17:08.

Next Week in Tampa, The Road Warriors will get their first look at the Invaders, The Rock'n'Roll Express will take on Hart's Rhythm and Blues and will hear from our new World Champion Randy Savage.

- Tonight Rock n Roll Express and Rhythm n Blues will battle for a title shot against the Road Warriors. Mike Von Erich will be in action, Magnum T.A will lock up with North American champion Tully Blanchard and Dusty Rhodes enacted his rematch clause and will face Randy Savage for the World Heavyweight title.


Koko B. Ware vs. Ren Datuschner

- Koko B. ware continues his winning streak taking out Datuschner.

Winner: Koko B. Ware with the Ghostbuster in 0:17:48.
Rating: -1/4*


- Randy Savage is backstage talking about winning the world title. He then tells Rhodes that if he has any thoughts of regaining the title tonight he will be sorely disappointed.



United States Heavyweight Champion Mike Von Erich vs. Kato Kung Lee

- Von Erich held off a determined Kato Kung Lee to retain the US title.

Winner: Mike Von Erich with a stomach claw in 0:04:15.

(Mike Von Erich retained the United States Heavyweight Title.)



- Dusty Rhodes is back stage and talks little about his los in Gainesville but promises that Randy Savage will have a short run as World champion.



Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) vs. Rhythm'n'Blues (Greg Valentine and Honky Tonk Man)

- Valentine's vicious attack on Ricky Morton caused the Tampa crowd to boo Honky Tonk and Valentine. After the match Valentine grabbed the microphone and told the crowd that since they came to WCWC they have been disrespected and tonight it ends.

Winner: Rock n Roll Express by disqualification 0:14:24.

North American Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard vs. Magnum T.A.

- A great match between the two but Blanchard picked up the win. After the match he told Magnum that he was not in his league and his continued request for a title shot is still no.

Winner Tully Blanchard with the Slingshot Suplex in 0:04:18.

World Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) vs. Invaders #1 and #3 (Invader #1 and Invader #3)

- The Invaders have been making some noise here in WCWC and tonight they faced the World champions. A great match but in the end they battled to a time limit draw.

Winner: draw in 0:20:00.

Number-One-Contenders-Match:
Ric Flair vs. Rick Steamboat


- The winner gets a shot at the winner of tonight's Main Event. Another great match but Steamboat missed a flying cross body and was unable to answer the 10 count.

Winner: Ric Flair by countout in 0:18:17.

Dusty Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage

- Savage came to the ring with a smug look on his face but Rhodes quickly slapped it off his face. Right when Rhodes looked like he was about tot take control of the match, Steamboat came down and cracked Rhodes in the back with a chair causing the ref to call the match

Winner: Randy Savage by disqualification in 0:16:23.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Randy Savage retained the World Heavyweight Title.)
