The American Wrestling Coalition Circuit

Psymin1Posted on 09/19/05 at 23:00:23

The time has come for me to unveil a project I have been working on for some time.  This project is entitled:

American Wrestling Coalition

This circuit has ran 20 cards so far, and I have been having a great time running it.  It is my longest circuit to date (I know, pretty pathetic, huh?).  It is ran using a ruleset as guidlines, but not law (meaning I stray from them from time to time).  I would rather not disclose whose ruleset I am using because it would give away too much.  But, I am sure this person will know they wrote it when they see the first few cards or so, so, I would like to thank them for making such a great ruleset.

Anyway, I think I am going to use my old format where I post all in one circuit just so I do not clutter up the board.  And, this way, if someone wants to go back and read card 1 when I am posting card 20, they can do it very easily, just by clicking on page one of the thread.  Alright, enough chit chat.

I will be posting the starting information in a few seconds, as well as the first card shortly after.  Please note that I am copying and pasting from another TNM7 Forum where I post the cards also, just so there won't be any confusion if you use both forums.  Also, there is no backstory for this circuit, but I hope that doesn't turn-off anybody.

I hope you enjoy the American Wrestling Coalition!

Thanks for reading,

~Psymin

After sitting in Preview Mode for about 30 minutes, debating on whether or not I really like the results posted this way or not, I have decided that I am going to keep them very simple, and so this is the way they'll be posted.  Sorry if you don't like them this way, but I think they'll get better as the shows go on.  There will be interviews to progress storylines, and eventually I start writing full "Post-Show Wrap-Ups" to help progress the story I am telling.

Oh, and I think it is important to tell you that I ran the first few shows 100% unbooked.  I did, however, start booking some of the matches to go the way I needed them to go as storylines progressed.  Anyway...onto Week 1 (I know, very original titles for shows, huh?).

Match Observations:

Kane and Scott Hall No-Showed the event.  Sources say they may have been out drinking together and were unable to attend the event.  If our source is correct, that would be very bad news for both wrestlers, but especially Scott Hall as he has been in trouble with his "personal demons" in past federations and was given a short leash.

AJ Styles won the AWC North American Heavyweight Title in an impressive showing.

There is reports that next week, if the wrestlers go to the trouble of showing up, that is, there will be a One Night Only Tag Tournament for the AWC Heavyweight Tag Team Titles featuring The Outsiders vs. The X-Treme Church vs. J.O.B. Squad vs. Canadian Standard.
americamamushiPosted on 09/19/05 at 23:21:59

Good start to your circuit.  Kinda surprised Richards won his battle royal.  I'd have expected Jericho or Michaels to take it.  Too bad for Sting.  Two chances to make it and he can't make either of them happen.  He came close the second time around though.  Taker's tombstone has always been a solid match ender, but it seems in AWC he's taken it to epic proportions.  Good win for Styles.  A win like that cements him as a big player in AWC in my mind.  He may not be the biggest or strongest in the AWC, but it looks like he's able to hang with those that are.

Next card looks exciting, I'm looking forward to it.

Rating: ** 1/4
(J.O.B. Squad won the AWC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.)

Card rating: ** 3/4

Match observations:

Everyone was able to show up for tonights event, which was good to see.

Fact is, that Kane had a death in his family last week, just hours before the show, and the only person who knew he wasn't going to be there was the Owner. No word on why Scott Hall wasn't there yet.

Al Snow and Rhino (J.O.B. Squad) were able to pull off a huge upset against The Outsiders, and then against Canadian Standard. They look like a very promising team as the AWC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.

Styles surprised everyone with Goldgerg as his Surprise Partner, and Taker surprised everyone with Jeff Jarrett as his partner. The Title match for next week between AJ Styles and The Undertaker has been officially signed for the card.
americamamushiPosted on 09/20/05 at 07:52:31

i love the JOB Squad winning the tag titles.  I'm almost as big an Al Snow mark as I am a Keiji Muto mark :)

Interview:
Jeff Jarrett attacks AJ Styles

(The shot goes backstage where AJ Styles is warming up for his match later that night.  Just then, Jeff Jarrett runs through the door with his guitar! Styles turns and is greeted by a guitar shot over his head!  Jarrett doesn't stop there, however.  He grabs a steel chair and goes to work on Style's leg!  He wraps his leg up in the chair, stands on a bench...HE JUMPS OFF AND SMASHES STYLES LEG IN THE CHAIR!!  The fans are booing Jarrett out of the building!  Jerrett finally stops and leaves the locker room.  Styles is shown on the floor writhing in pain as paramedics enter the room.  We go to commercial.)

No-Countout-Match:
The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) defeated Chris Benoit and Sting when
S. Hall pinned Sting with the Outsiders Edge in 0:00:24.
Kevin Nash suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 2 cards.
Rating: *

Interview:
A Manager sits in the Crowd...

(The shot pans around the sold-out crowd.  It stops on a man with a very familiar face...it's...TED DIBIASE!  DiBiase just sits in his fifth row seat, watching what's going on.  What in the world is DiBiase doing here?  He is not scheduled to be on the card, or even affiliated with the Coalition.  Maybe time will tell...)

[Semi-Main Event]:
J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow and Rhino) defeated
The X-Treme Church (Christopher Daniels and Donovan Morgan) when Rhino pinned
D. Morgan with the Gore in 0:10:42.
Rating: ** 3/4

Interview:
The Champ is injured?!?

(The Undertaker is in the ring for he has the next match.  He waits for the champion to come out.  But, instead, the ring announcer gets a note.  He enters the ring to read it aloud.)

RA: "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have some bad news.  The AWC North American Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, was injured when he was attacked earlier this evening.  Which means, he will not be able to compete in tonights Main Event.  We are sorry for this change."

(The Ring Announcer exits the ring as The Undertaker looks furious.  He starts to scream at the entrance ramp for AJ Styles to come out.  But, from the crowd behind him, AJ STYLES SNEAKS INTO THE RING!  He taps Taker's shoulder and Taker turns around; AJ STYLES HITS A SITOUT FACESMASH!!  The match begins!  The announcers inform us that AJ Styles really is injured, but his heart is so big, that he came out injured to fight The Undertaker!)

AJ Styles pinned The Undertaker after an Asai moonsault into an inverted DDT in
0:25:09.
Rating: **** 1/4
(AJ Styles retained the AWC North American Heavyweight Championship.)
[Jeff Jarrett interfered against AJ Styles.]
[Goldberg interfered against The Undertaker.]

Card rating: ***

Match observations:

Kevin Nash was injured in The Outsiders quick match against Chris Benoit and Sting.  He hurt his back very early on, which resulted in Scott Hall hitting The Outsiders Edge very quick and getting the win.  Nash is expected to be out for at least two cards.

Ted DiBiase was seen in the audience tonight, and nobody is sure why he was there, though it is expected that it wasn't just to be a spectator.

AJ Styles was injured early in the night when he was brutally attacked by one of his opponents last week, Jeff Jarrett.  Jarrett showed up where he didnt belong once more when he interfered in the main event.  But, Goldberg came out to help out his friend and even the odds for Styles.

Stevie Richards looked excellent tonight in his fast match against Lance Storm.

J.O.B. Squad was able to show why they are the Tag Team Champs when they defeated The X-Treme Church tonight.  Canadian Standard had the night off.

Back to AJ Styles, he showed an amazing deal of athleticism tonight, and both Taker and Styles showed amazing endurance as they lasted 25 minutes in the ring together in an incredible matchup.  But, the Champ prevailed once again.
americamamushiPosted on 10/05/05 at 22:02:47

Good showing for Styles over Taker.  He not only came back, but he came back big.

And Nash hurt something besides his knee? I don't believe it :)
rey619Posted on 10/05/05 at 22:59:02

Who else besides Kevin Nash can be injured in a 24 second tag-team match. I'll bet Hall was in the ring the whole time as well  :P

It doesn't take a genius to see whose rulesheet you are using, but you're doing a good job at it.

AWC Week 4

(A Promo is shown of a Mexican star that will be coming in next week...it is..

PSICOSIS!)

Raven pinned Rhino with the Raven Effect in 0:22:33.
Rating: ***

Handicap-Match:
Scott Hall defeated Canadian Standard (Chris Jericho and Edge) when S. Hall
defeated Jericho by countout in 0:16:24.

Interview:
DiBiase in the House

(As the crowd is shown, the camera picks up a face from last week.  Ted Dibiase is in the house again this week!  What in the world could he want?)

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Kane pinned Al Snow with the Choke Slam in 0:14:58.
Rating: *** 1/2

[Main Event]:
AJ Styles pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Styles Clash in 0:12:32.
Rating: *** 1/4
(AJ Styles retained the AWC North American Heavyweight Championship.)
[The Undertaker interfered against AJ Styles.]
[The Undertaker interfered against Jeff Jarrett.]

Card rating: *** 1/4

Match Observations:

The "Phenomonal" one did it again, taking out the man who injured him last week, Jeff Jarrett.

Kane showed that he can be a hardcore wrestler by beating Al Snow in a brutal, Falls Count Anywhere matchup.

Raven, continuing his hot streak, was able to beat Rhino.  This means that both the halves of the Tag Team Champs lost in singles action...I guess we know why they are the Tag Champs, and not the North American Heavyweight Champions.

Scott Hall shocked everyone when he beat BOTH the wrestlers of Edge and Chris Jericho in Canadian Standard.  He is proving to be more than just a tag team wrestler.

We seen Ted DiBiase in the crowd again tonight, which leaves a lot more questions to be answered.

Next week we should be seeing the new Mexican Star, Psicosis in action.
Psymin1Posted on 01/24/06 at 04:59:43

GASP!  An update?!?!  I'm just as shocked as you are.  Anyway, as I was reading this, I really realized how it gets MUCH better later on in the circuit.  But, I aint jumping ahead, so you'll just deal with it.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for reading.

AWC Week 5

Interview:
AJ Styles confronts Goldberg

(The show comes on the air with AJ Styles in the ring. The fans cheer him loudly. He has the AWC North American Heavyweight Title belt around his waist and a microphone in his hand.)

AJ: "Last week, I kicked the ass of not only one, but two people because The Undertaker couldn't keep his nose out of my business! But, I thought I had some backup on the way to help me kick their asses, but no. I waited for you, Goldberg, and you never showed! You said you had my back, and you chickened out. Where were you last week?!?"

(Then Goldbergs music hits! The fans go crazy and start a "GOLD-BERG!" chant. Goldberg makes his way to the ring, looking very focused. He gets in and the two men stare at each other. But, it isnt a look of hatred, just untrust. Goldberg grabs the mic away from Styles and takes a step back to talk.)

GB: "Where was I? Where was I? I was in the back, watching on the monitor! The way I look at it, I do respect you. As a person and as a wrestler, I respect you. But, I don't respect you as the North American Heavyweight Champ! You have what I want! And I wont stop until I get it!"

(AJ Styles looked shocked at his former friends remarks. Goldbergs music hits as the crowd cheers. Goldberg stares at him once again and drops the microphone Goldberg turns around and moves to leave the ring. He stops, turns and runs at Styles...SPEAR!! SPEAR!! Goldberg leaves Styles lifeless on the mat! He gets up, and yells. The crowd still cheers Goldberg. Goldberg leaves the ring, and dissapears backstage as Styles still lies on the mat, lifeless.)

Paul London pinned Psicosis with the London Calling in 0:09:12.
Rating: **

Interview:
The President's Major Announcement

(While Paul London and Psicosis are still in the ring after an awesome high-flying matchup. London goes over to Psicosis and looks at him for a second, then extends his hand for a handshake. The crowd seems happy about this and cheers for Psicosis to shake his hand. Psicosis and London embrace hands as the crowd goes nuts. Suddenly, London pulls Psicosis in and kicks him in the gut! Then he nails sit-out Powerbomb! The crowd boos Paul London out of the building! London gets on the top rope and yells at some of the fans at ringside, flipping them off. He evenually exits.

After he is gone, some new music hits. Music that we have not heard before in the AWC. It is the President's music! And out walks..."Rowdy" Roddy Piper! The fans goe crazy for Piper as he acknowledges them with a polite wave. He gets into the ring and signals for a microphone. He is handed one as the crowds cheers don't relent. After about 35 seconds, it is finally quiet enough for him to speak.)

RP: "Thank you guys so much. What a warm reception. But, I am not out here to become the face of the American Wrestling Coalition. I am out here to make a big announcement that I am sure you fans will love to hear. At the end of this month, the AWC will be holding it's first ever Pay-Per-View Mega show! (crowd pops) That is right, we are finally going to PPV. And the main event at the show will feature 6 men. And it will be for the NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! I will name four of the six men right now; they are The Champion, AJ Styles (Crowd pop), Goldberg (crowd pop), Jeff Jarrett (crowd hisses), and The Undertaker (crowd hisses)! The other two men will be named at a later point. And the match type and rules will be announced one week before the show! Thank you everyone, for coming out and supporting the AWC!"

(Piper's music hits and the crowd cheers loudly again as the show goes to a commercial.)

Kane pinned Chris Benoit after a Gorilla Press in 0:07:12.
Rating: ** 3/4

Scott Hall pinned Christopher Daniels after an inside cradle in 0:10:09.
Rating: *** 1/4

Interview:
Ted DiBiase Speaks

(The ring finally emptied of the last match. Then, from out of the crowd, Ted DiBiase jumps over the gaurdrail! He grabs a mic off the table and steps into the ring. The fans start to cheer.)

TD: "Just shut the hell up. How dare you cheer me! I make more money in one hour than any of you hicks will make in your lifetime! (crowd hisses) Now, enough of you idiots, I have someone I need to introduce. A man I have wacthed from afar and finally was able to buy him as my wrestler. This is a man that will forever change the face of AWC...Here he is..."

(Music hits...IT'S BATISTA! The crowd boos as he walks out to the ring. He completely ignores the fans and is very focused on the ring, and his manager. He steps into the ring and stands next to DiBiase.)

TD: "Yes, you know him. Batista will be the next North American Heavyweight Champion! And, to guarantee this, I am demanding that my man, Batista, be the fifth man in that 6-man North American Heavyweight Title match at the Pay-Per-View! But, tonight, I am going to show the world what kind of a relentless maniac Batista is. We challenge anyone in that locker room to come down and get their ass kicked in a match! Come on! ANYONE!"

(The challenge is answered...)

[Unsanctioned Match]:
Batista pinned Stevie Richards with the Demon Bomb in 0:07:49.

0:15:14.
Rating: *** 3/4

[Semi-Main Event]:
Raven and Lance Storm defeated J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow and Rhino) when Raven
pinned Snow with the Raven Effect in 0:12:30.

[Main Event]:
Goldberg pinned The Undertaker with the Jackhammer in 0:10:59.
Rating: ****

Interview:
After the Match...

(As the crowd cheers Goldberg, The Undertaker is still on the ground after the Jackhammer. AJ Styles appears at the top of the entrance ramp. The fans cheer him now too. He starts to walk down to the ring. Goldberg stands there waiting for him to enter the ring. The Undertaker starts to get up. Goldberg notices, but keeps his focus on Styles. Styles gets on the ring apron as The Undertaker stands up. Goldberg runs toward both of them. But, he hits...TAKER WITH THE SPEAR! He yells and stares at Styles who is still on the ring apron. Styles looks back, then jumps down off of the apron. He starts walking backwards up the ramp. He is smirking a bit and he is telling Goldberg just to wait. They will have they're day as the show goes off the air.)

Card rating: *** 1/4

Match observations:

Goldberg shocked Styles at the opening of the show with the revelation that he, too, wants a title shot. And then spearing him.

The President made his first public appearance. And Piper had an incredible announcement as he announced the first AWC PPV for the end of this month.

And the questions have been answered as to why Ted DiBiase was sitting in the audience the past two weeks, debuting Batista as the wrestler he is managing in the AWC. Also, will be able to get Batista in the 6 man Title match at the PPV? After the announcement, Batista kicked the crap out the man who accepted their challenge, Stevie Richards.

Scott Hall is looking good for the first time since Wrestlemania X, pulling the weight of the entire tag team with Kevin Nash being injured for the last 2 weeks. Rumor has it that Nash is getting better and will be back for the next card.

And Raven is definitely on the HOT side of things with two big wins the last two weeks, over both members of the Tag Team Champions.

Psicosis was expected to be huge in his debut match, but instead got beat by Paul London, who then showed a sickening display of unsportsmenship. London, after shaking Psicosis's hand, hit him with a Sitout Powerbomb.

The main event was great as expected, drawing a four star rating. But, the aftermath was the most bizarre part of it all. After Goldberg hit Styles with the Spear, you would figure he would want to get his revenge. However, after Goldberg beat Taker, and Styles came out, Styles didnt attack him. And, just as surprising, Goldberg didnt attack Styles, instead he hit Taker with another Spear! What is going to happen with these men?

Piper's Follow-up

(Roddy Pipers music hits as the crowd goes nuts. He enters the ring with a mic.)

RP: "Thank you again. Tonight, I am here to reveal how the Sixth and final wrestler of the 6-Man Title match at the Pay-Per-View will be decided. Next week there will be a Four-Way Elimination match. The Winner will become the sixth entry in the matchup. The match next week will feature Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Kane, and Raven! Thank you, and enjoy the rest of the show!"

(Piper exits the ring to the sounds of cheering fans.)

[Main Event]: Triangle Match with Special Referee AJ Styles:
The Undertaker defeated Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg when Undertaker pinned J. Jarrett after a powerslam in 0:17:43.
Rating: *** 1/2

Interview:
Batista Cleans House!

After the match, Batista hits the ring! He nails The Undertaker with the Demon Bomb! He picks up Goldberg and hits HIM with the Demon Bomb! Jarrett climbs back into the ring...BUT HE'S GREETED WITH YET ANOTHER DEMON BOMB!!! Styles sits in the corner watching this all go down. Then, Batista sees him in the corner. They stare each other down for a second...then Batista runs at him. But Styles move out of the way as Batista hits the turnbuckle hard! Batista bounces off the turnbuckle and moves toward Styles. STYLES NAILS HIM THE STYLES CLASH!!! The fans are going crazy for Styles! Styles grabs his belt and heads up the ramp. He stops at the top of the ramp and looks to the ring where Batista has already gotten up and is looking at Styles extremely pissed off. Batista mouths "Next time...Next time!" as the show goes off the air.

Card rating: *** 1/4

Match observations:

The tag team scene got even hotter tonight with a double countout between the champs and The Outsiders.

Piper has another big announcement as we get to see who will be the 6th and final wrestler of that 6-man Title match at the PPV which we have just been informed will be named next week.

Paul London and Psicosis seem to be developing quite the fued as London attacked Psicosis in tonights opener causing him the match against Lance Storm.

And Raven and Shawn Michaels put on one of the best matches to date in a Ravens Rules match-up earning a 5 Star rating. And since Raven won, it seems that that was enough to get Piper to put him in that match next week for the 6th and final spot in the PPV main event for the title.

Batista made short order of the man who accepted his challenge, Sting, tonight. But, the big news about Batista came after the main event was finished, which The Undertaker, technically, won. His victory dance was short lived, however, when Batista came down and hit his Demon Bomb on three of the four men. The tides changed when it was Batista and The Champion, AJ Styles. Styles was able to take Batista out with his Styles Clash. However, Batista didn't stay down long as he stared down Styles as the show went off the air.

I like what you have going here, but for anyone to give this circuit much afterthough, you're going to need to be at least a little bit more detailed on the writeups.  Now if you're content with how things are and are having fun with it, don't change a thing.  It would just be helpful if you give every match a little attention at least.  I mean, you had an awesome 5-star match, and it hardly got a mention.
AnubisPosted on 01/27/06 at 12:17:41

OMGLOL @ Nash getting injured.  Classic.  I couldn't book that any better.

You can't accuse TNM of unrealism then.
Psymin1Posted on 03/17/06 at 05:10:21

Well, let me know if this is a better way to post my results. If it is, then I will try to continue doing it this way as much as possible. I'll still probably have a ridiculous time between posting cards, though. But, I do it when I have time. Enjoy!

AWC Week 7

Match with Special Referee Paul London:
Lance Storm pinned Psicosis after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:14:23.
With the heat between London and Psicosis, one could only imagine that this match would not be officiated fairly. And that would turn out to be a correct assumption. Storm and Psicosis battled a technically sound matchup till about the the 10 minute mark, when Storm decided that it was time to bring in some hardware (in the form of a steel chair). Storm went outside the ring after hitting a legsweep to grab the chair. But, by the time he reached the chair, Psicosis was up and attacked him from behind. London was sitting down on the turnbuckle as all of this went on, neglecting his duty to count. Psicosis finally got Storm down to the ground, and he set up the chair. Psicosis then sprung off the chair into a legdrop. This upset London, and he decided to start counting quite fast. Psicosis jumped back into the ring, and London decided that he didn't need to count anymore. This provoked an argument between Psicosis and London, allowing Storm to sneak into the ring with the chair. Psicosis turned and was greeted by a steel chair to the face. London turned away as it happened so he wouldn't see the illegal attack. Storm jumped down and got the pin with a very fast 3-count (not that it was needed) giving Storm the victory.

Kevin Nash pinned Al Snow with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:04:48.
This match was a half-rematch from last weeks double countout between these two teams (J.O.B. Squad [The Champs] and The Outsiders). This was a match that the crowd, for whatever reason, was not really into. It started out with a quick pin attempt by Snow after he reversed a vertical suplex. Al Snow really had the upper hand throughout most of this short match. From clotheslines to dragon suplexes to a slow count by referee Jon Vulem. But, the end came when Snow whipped Nash into the ropes, Nash countered it with a kick to the midsection, and then hit his Jacknife Powerbomb to get the 1-2-3.

Interview:
Another Piper Announcement

(Roddy Piper enters the ring with a microphone as the crowd cheers him on.)

RP: "We have some very big news to report to you, the fans of the American Wrestling Coalition! The week is upon is that I announce the details of NEXT WEEK'S PAY-PER-VIEW which, will be called 'Retribution'! The main event, as I mentioned before will be 6 men competing for the AWC North American Heavyweight Championship; 5 of these six men have already been decided and they are:

The North American Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles,
The Undertaker,
Goldberg,
Jeff Jarrett, and
the man who has proved worthy of an ass kicking: Batista!

The sixth man, as you probably know, will be decided later tonight. And now, for the announcement you have all been waiting for, what type of match will it be? Well, after thinking about it long and hard, I have decided that there is really only one type of match that will be able to hold these men...and that match is...

...

AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH!

(HUGE crowd pop as Piper smiles and exits the ring.)

Stevie Richards defeated Paul London by countout in 0:12:57.
It was time for the world to see Paul London again, this time fighting (against Stevie Richards). This was a great match that the crowd was very behind. There was a lot of heat for London because of his controversial officiating earlier in the evening. London was taking it to Richards with a lot of high flying moves. London went for a pin around the 8 minute mark after hitting a Superplex off the top rope. But, Richards refused to give up that easy and kicked out after a 2 count. The crowd started a "Ste-vie!" chant and this pumped Richards up. He came back with a few stiff rights to the head, followed by a DDT to take London to the mat. Richards then decided to try and take a page out of London's book and headed to the top rope, but this would prove detrimental. Richards lept off the top rope in a frog splash, but London moved to the side! Then, as London was getting up from the mat, Psicosis started making his way down to ringside. The crowd popped huge for Psicosis, as he stood ringside. London was very distraught about Psicosis being down there and started losing concentration. As London yelled at the ref to make Psicosis leave ringside, Richards got up and set up for the Stevie Kick. London turned and...SMACK! STEVIE KICK! This sent London out of the ring right in front of Psicosis. The ref started a 10 count, and when it looked like London was about to get up Richards grabbed the ref and started acting like he rolled his ankle. Psicosis kicked London in the face; ran up to the ringside barrier...GUILLOTINE LEGDROP! London is out cold. The ref gets back on the job and finishes the countout giving Stevie Richards the win.

Rhino pinned Scott Hall with the Gore in 0:14:34.
In this surprisingly long match, Rhino was able to get the upperhand early on. And, after a few short-lived comebacks from Scott Hall, Rhino hit the Gore and got the pin. Both men looked shockingly well in the ring tonight.

[Semi-Main Event: To Decide the Sixth Man]: Four Corners Match:
Raven defeated Shawn Michaels, Kane and Chris Benoit:
x Kane beat S. Michaels via the Choke Slam in 0:11:03
x Benoit beat Kane via the Crippler Crossface in 0:17:58
x Raven beat Benoit via the Raven Effect in 0:20:26

Well, there you have it! The Main Event for Retribution has been set- Raven is the sixth and final man in that Elimination Chamber matchup. With this match having no rules, it seems like Raven will fit right in. But, lest we forget about tonights matchup. In what many would consider a major upset, Kane hit his earth-shattering Choke Slam on Shawn Michaels to make Michaels, the man many predicted to win the match, the first man out of the fight. Then, in another big surprise, Chris Benoit made Kane tap-out with the Crippler Crossface! This may be the first time in Kane's career that he has tapped. But, Benoit's excitement was short lived, as less than three minutes later, Benoit turned, and walked right into the nasty Raven Effect from Raven. This gave Raven the victory and the title shot at Retribution!

[Main Event]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Undertaker and Batista defeated Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg when Batista
defeated J. Jarrett via pinfall in 0:08:31.

Four of the Six men who are set to square off in the Elimination Chamber match at Retribution were forced to team up in pairs to face off against each other tonight. The Undertaker and Batista took on Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg. The crowd wasn't sure who to cheer for as they hate everyone but Goldberg in this match. The fight was short, but sweet. Undertaker and Jeff Jarrett started off the match. 'Taker took the advantage early, and held on. He was even able to hit his Choke Slam, but Goldberg came in for the save. Eventually, both men tagged out and it was time for the big...ger brutes to go at it. Batista came in strong with a few stiff chops, but Goldberg was able to break free from a DDT attempt and hit a...fisherman suplex?!? Yup, that's right, Goldberg reversed a DDT into a Fisherman Suplex. Goldberg was all set up for his Spear, but Batista dodged the bullet, sending Goldberg into the ring post. Goldberg was forced to tag out to Jarrett, who took advantage of the winded Batista. Batista, however, battled back and was able to hit his Demon Bomb for the 1-2-3!

Didn't you set up an entire section for your circuit further down in the forum? ;) If you aren't going to use it maybe you should mail Oliver to remove it.
Psymin1Posted on 03/17/06 at 18:52:10

No, Zedja, that wasn't me, that was the other AWC that...Ghost Mask III is running.  The link can be found here:

But, if he doesn't start to use it, I would gladly take it over and use it.

There is, of course, the possibility that Oliver fell in love with my circuit so much, that he needed to make an entire section for it, but just hasn't told me about it yet...but I doubt it  ;).

Tag Team Match- Canadian Standard vs. Tony Straddlin and Todd Sexton:
What a fantastic way to start off the first ever AWC Pay-Per-View! Canadian Standard really took it to the newcomers of Tony Straddlin and Todd Sexton. Edge got a hold of Straddlin and didn't let go until Straddlin was able to hit a strong lariat on Edge, and then was able to make his way to the corner to tag in Sexton. However, Edge made it to his partner also, and Jericho hit a big spinebuster, followed by a Lionsault, then locked in Walls of Jericho! Sexton was forced to tap out.

Tag Team Match- America's Most Wanted vs. Donovan Morgan and Jeff Garvin:
The night of tag action continued with America's Most Wanted taking on the newly formed team of Donovan Morgan and Jeff Garvin. This match was exceptional and could have gone either way. Morgan looked like he was going to pick up the victory after he hit his finisher, the Suicide Drop, on Storm. But Harris was able to make it into the ring to break up the pin attempt. This provoked Garvin to enter the ring also, and a brawl ensued between the four men that the ref had no control over. This went on for about 5 minutes, until Harris was knocked out of the ring by Garvin with a dropkick. Garvin then climbed to the top rope and hit a flying elbow drop onto the concrete! Storm was then able to get the edge in the ring and eventually nailed the 8 Second Ride on Morgan, giving AMW the win.

[$1,000,000 Contract Ladder Match]- Pscisosis vs. Paul London:
"HOLY SHIT" chants filled the arena throughout this breathtaking match. The match started with Psicosis taking the advantage early-on with a bodyslam followed by a few legdrops. But, that changed after London was able to dodge a clothesline, and hit a snap suplex. London then went to work the crowd but got nothing but loud boos. The first "Holy Shit" chant came after the wrestlers left the ring. They travelled back up the ramp and Psicosis hit a spinning headscissors. Then, he proceeded to place London on top a table that was conveniently set up at the top of the entrance ramp. Psicosis climbed to the top of the ladder...FLYING LEG DROP THROUGH THE TABLE! But, Psicosis was unable to capitalize on this because he was injured just as much as London was. In fact, London was the first to stand up after this hellacious move. He started to stumble back down to the ring. But, before too long, Psicosis was able to stand up and chase down London, knocking him to the floor. Psicosis then threw London into the ring steps with a sickening thud. A few minutes later, the second "Holy Shit" chant would begin. London made his way back into the ring, but Psicosis still had the upper hand. London was able to get a second wind, and fight back. He placed the HUGE 30-foot ladder up in the ring and started climbing. But, Psicosis got up and started climbing up the other side. But, something was about to go wrong for these two men. As Psciosis jumped on the ladder, it started rocking it. The ladder rocked so hard, it fell over! But, instead of the men being able to catch the ropes, it sent them into the second row of the crowd! (Luckily, no fans were injured during this incident) Psicosis was the first up. He cleared the crowd, grabbed a chair, climbed to the top of the gaurd rail...ANOTHER FLYING LEG DROP! But, this time, he had a chair to assist in the impact. Psicosis made it back into the ring, set up a second ladder real quick, climbed to the top of it...AND GRABBED THE BRIEFCASE TO WIN THE MATCH! London and Psicosis were taken to the local emergency room after the match for their injuries. Both appear to be alright, and should be back in action very quickly.
Psicosis defeated Paul London in 0:16:05.

[Semi-Main Event]: Two-out-of-three-Falls Tag Team Title Match- The Outsiders vs. J.O.B. Squad(c):
The impossible not only happened once here in AWC, but twice! First, the underdog team of Al Snow and Rhino (J.O.B. Squad) win the Heavyweight Tag Titles, then, they...GASP! SUCCESSFULLY DEFEND THEM! And it was against the veteran team of The Outsiders, nonetheless. Although it may not look like Snow did much in this match, oh boy, would that ever be the wrong assumption. First, Snow was able to allow Rhino to get the first pin because of the fact that he hit his Snow Plow on Hall when the referees back was turned. This set up Rhino to hit a spinebuster slam giving J.O.B. Squad the first, very key, pinfall. Nash, after seeing this, got pissed off. He stormed in and took out Rhino with a big boot. For some reason, the referee allowed Nash to be legal man in the ring even without there being a tag. Nash beat up on Rhino for about 30 more seconds before Rhino tagged out. Nash and Snow fought back and fourth until Snow tagged back out to Rhino. Rhino came in, set up for his Gore, but instead of hitting Nash, Nash dodged and he hit Hall with a Gore through the ropes, and to the floor! Nash saw the oppurtunity, got out of the ring, threw Rhino back in, hit his Jacknife Powerbomb and tied up the match at one fall per team. After this fall, both men tagged out to their partners (Nash, of course, gave a few parting blows to Rhino before he made his way to the corner). Hall and Snow fought to the brink of exhaustion. Then, Hall took the advantage again. He was able to hit his finisher, but was too tired to get the pinfall! Both men crawled to their corners in pain. Hall was able to make it there first, but before Nash was able to pull Snow back into the ring, Rhino was tagged in. Immedietly after, Rhino was able to nail a suprise Gore on Nash and secure the 1-2-3 allowing J.O.B. Squad to pull off another amazing victory! The crowd errupted as the ref called for the bell and the title belts. J.O.B. Squad then made their way to the crowd to celebrate amongst their fans.
J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow and Rhino) beat The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall)
2 falls to 1:
x Rhino beat S. Hall via a spinebuster slam in 0:11:25
x Nash beat Rhino via the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:17:10
x Rhino beat Nash via the Gore in 0:25:43

Elimination Chamber North American Title Match- AJ Styles(c) vs. The Undertaker vs. Goldberg vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven vs. Batista:
Five words: Match of the Year Candidate! The AWC crowds have never seen anything like this before. Eric Bischoff and the WWE may have had the original idea for an Elimination Chamber match, but the AWC and these six men redefined what this match was all about! AJ Styles was the champion going into this match, but the odds were stacked against him nearly immediatley when his door opened up first along with The Undertakers.

AJ Styles started by going for a roundhouse kick, but The Undertaker countered it with a cradle suplex. These two continued back and fourth, with AJ Styles getting three quick pin attempts, but Taker kicked out of all of them. At the 2 minute mark, Ravens door was opened. He went for The Undertaker right off the bat. Styles, feeling left out, I guess, decided to attack Raven with a reverse neckbreaker. Taker then took advantage of the fallen Raven and worked his legs a bit. Then, at the 4 minute mark, Jeff Jarrett's door opened up. He went after Styles. He hit a back suplex, and eventually hit a flying cross body press. He went for a pin, but only got a two count out of Styles. At 6 minutes Goldbergs door opened, and at 8 minutes the last man, Batista entered the match.

All six men were now in the ring at the same time! All men battled like hell to stay alive. But, the first man to tumble was the one that many thought would dominate the match- Batista. Goldberg proved that he was a bigger big man and after hitting his Spear on him, he nailed him the Jacknife to get the first victory of the night.

After the first fall, Goldberg was pumped up. He then went after The Undertaker. This left Raven alone to take a break for a second. But, this didn't last long because he saw that Styles was trying to do the same thing. So, he ran over to Styles and hit him with a clothesline. He picked him up, and hit a Michinoku Driver II onto the Chambers steel floor! He wasn't done yet, though. He decided to climb to the top turnbuckle, and hit a flying elbow drop! He very well could have gotten the pin right then, but he wanted to put the champ out in style (no pun inteded). He picked up Styles again, and...SMACK! Raven Effect on the steel! This allowed Raven to pick up the pin and knock the Champion out of the Elimination Chamber Match. This meant that a new North American Champion would be crowned here tonight, but who would it be? The Undertaker, Raven, Jeff Jarrett, or Goldberg?

The match continued for about another minute longer, when a sickening thud was heard from the opposite side of the cage from where Styles was pinned. It was the sound of Goldbergs head hitting the glass, then the steel floor after a viscous clothesline from The Undertaker. This allowed Taker to get the pin, putting fan favorite Goldberg out of the match.

At this point, Jarrett and Raven were going at it. The Undertaker, being the veteran he is, saw this and decided to take a seat and let them beat the hell out of each other. They did just that. At one point, it looked as if Jarrett was going to knock Raven out of the match after he raked Ravens face across the steel wall. But, all it did was cause him to lose a few pints of blood, and more importantly, piss him off. Raven was able to fight back from Jarretts attack. He threw Jarrett into the glass doors, and into the side of the steel chamber. At about the 33 minute mark, Raven was able to hit his Raven Effect on Jarrett and get the pin!

This left The Undertaker and Raven. Who wanted it more? The Undertaker got up right away and started taking it to an extremely exhausted Raven. The fans were chanting for Raven, which seemed to have some effect. But, Taker didn't faulter. He went for a bulldog, and nailed it. He then went for an elbow drop, but Raven moved out of the way. This didn't effect Taker as he just got up and started stomping Raven in the head. He picked Raven up, made a throat slash gesture and set him up for the Tombstone Piledriver! This would be it! If Taker hits this move, it would have to be over...BUT RAVEN REVERSES OUT OF IT!! He turns Taker around...Kick in the gut...RAVEN EFFECT! RAVEN EFFECT! RAVEN EFFECT!!! Raven goes for the pin! 1...2... ... ... 3!! RAVEN WINS THE TITLE! The crowd went absolutey nuts! Raven lay there, a champion in the middle of the ring. The ref held his, seemingly, lifeless hand in the air and draped the belt over his bloody body. What a match that was!

Raven won a 6-man Elimination Chamber Match:
x Undertaker and Styles started out.
x Raven entered at 0:02:00
x Jeff Jarrett entered at 0:04:00
x Goldberg entered at 0:06:00
x Batista entered at 0:08:00
x Goldberg defeated Batista in 0:19:06
x Raven defeated Styles after the Raven Effect in 0:26:04
x Undertaker defeated Goldberg after a clothesline in 0:27:24
x Raven defeated J. Jarrett after the Raven Effect in 0:32:50
x Raven defeated Undertaker after the Raven Effect in 0:34:17
Rating: **** 1/4
(Raven won the AWC North American Heavyweight Championship.)

Match Observations:

This amazing card really showcased what the American Wrestling Coalition is all about! Tonight we seen the Tag Champs retain, and the North American Champ stumble. Lets get to the highlights:

The opening tag match seen the debut of newcomers Tony Straddlin and Todd Sexton. But, with their humiliating defeat, the question has to be, will they be back? The second tag match of the night saw Chris Harris and James Storm, America's Most Wanted, beat Donovan Morgan and Jeff Garvin in a hard fought battle.

Then, the sumnation of the battle between Psicosis and Paul London happened in the form of a $1,000,000 Contract Ladder Match. This match was absolutely incredible as both men put on an amazing showing of talent, and stamina. But, in the end it was Psicosis' ability to regain composure, and hit a flying leg drop with a steel chair onto the cement after the ladder fell into the audience. Psicosis was then able to climb the ladder and grabb the briefcase with the Million dollar contract in it. Psicosis, because of his victory, gets a Million dollar bonus in his paycheck (spread out over the year, of course). Congratulations to him, and hopefully, London will find someone else to pick on.

Next up was another Tag team match, but this one was the most important one of the night, and of J.O.B. Squad's career. With all the talk that the Squad got lucky winning the titles in week 1, and with their less-than-impressive performance in singles action over the past few weeks, the world would be watching to see if they could validate their title win 7 weeks ago. And validate they did! This 2/3 falls match was excellent as Rhino struck first blood, pinning Scott Hall with a spinebuster slam. But, Nash wouldn't let his team lose that easy, as he climbed into the ring, and finally hit his deadly Jacknife Powerbomb on Rhino to get the pin. With the match all tied up, who would make the third, and final, pin of the match? Well, Rhino decided to answer the call again! After Snow and Hall beat the hell out of each other, they both were finally able to tag out to their partners. But, as Nash ran into the ring, he didn't relize that Rhino had been tagged in! He found out soon enough as he was repaid for his Jacknife earlier in the night as Rhino nailed him with a Gore! That was enough to put the big man away and give J.O.B. Squad an amazing victory, to the crowd's delight.

And then, finally, it was time for the match everyone was and would be talking about for years: The Elimination Chamber Match. By the most unfortunate of circumstances, AJ Styles, the Champ at the time, was forced to be the first one in the ring, and his challenge wasn't an easy one as The Undertaker would be the second man in the ring! But, to much surprise, NOBODY was eliminated until all 6 men were in the ring! The last man in was Batista, and the first man out was...Batista! And, in a bit of foreshadowing perhaps, Raven got the second elimination, eliminating the Champion himself, AJ Styles with the Raven Effect. Then, the man who humiliated Batista earlier on, Goldberg, was eliminated by The Dead Man, The Undertaker. Down to the last 3 wrestlers, Raven decided it was time to clean house and end the match. First, he took out Jeff Jarrett with the Raven Effect, and then, less than 2 minutes later, he was able to sneak in the Raven Effect on The Undertaker and get his third, and winning, pin of the night to become the AWC North American Heavyweight Champion! Most of the crowed cheered, but some sat unsure if they liked the fact that Raven just won the match as Raven sat, unbeaten, but destroyed, in the middle of the ring with the North American Title draped over him. A big congratulations goes out to Raven. And we hope you will join us next week for the aftermath of Retribution is sure to be exciting!

GOOD NIGHT!

Yes, this is a shameless bump because my biggest card of the AWC has ALREADY been knocked off the first page! So, if you missed it the first time, consider this the replay of the PPV that you're still going to pay FULL price for.

Your Welcome. :)

Great circuit. Love ow things are going down and I will be a reader to see how it goes. I 'm using the same rule set and I agree some of the best out there and as you have changed it up a little. It is funny though how the same set of ideas can be used and yet get different results. If you have time please check out my circuit

Be happy to hear your opinion

Thanks for a gret circuit

And yet another way of posting my cards. Call it lazy, or call it whatever you like, but I think I am going to start using the TNM PbP more often. It should allow me to post cards more often. Not to mention that the countdown is on: 4 Days until I have NO MORE RESPONSIBILITIES (at school, anyway), and I move back home. This is good news for me because I will have a lot more time to devote to the circuit write-ups. Anyway, I hope no one minds me "borrowing" the PbP setup that some of you use. If so, lemme know. Alright, anyway, enjoy Week 9!  Oh, also note that the post-show write-ups get a lot better/bigger starting around Week 12.  And by the next big PPV, they are in full swing.

AWC Week 9

Interview:
AMW Attacks!

(The shot goes backstage to the lockerroom of the Tag Team Champs, the J.O.B. Squad. The crowd pops big when they see them.)

Snow: We did it man! Ha ha! I knew we would.

Rhino: Yeah.

Snow: They said we wouldn't but we proved them wrong, didn't we?

Rhino: Yeah.

Snow: You really shouldn't talk so much.

Rhino: Yeah.

(Just then, America's Most Wanted storms into the picture and attacks the Squad! Rhino and Snow are completely defenseless to this brutal attack. They continue to pummel the hell out of the them as the show goes to a commercial.)

Tag Team Match- The Outsiders vs. Canadian Standard:
Although both teams are hated by the fans for the most part, it was obvious that The Outsiders were hated more, as Canadian Standard was cheered during this match a little bit. The match started out with Nash and Jericho in the ring. There was a quick exchange between the two: Nash went for a kick to the midsection, Jericho tried to counter with a dragon screw, but Nash countered that with an enzuigiri. Edge decided to get in the ring, making a two-on-one. They attempted a double fist to the head, but Nash countered it with a double clothesline. Edge rolled out of the ring, and Nash looked to end the match quickly as he picked up Jericho and hit his brutal Jacknife Powerbomb. He went for the pin- 1...2...foot in the ropes! Jericho was saved by getting his foot in the rope for a break. Nash then tagged out to Hall, who immediatly threw Jericho outside the ring. Hall followed him out, and throws him into the guardrail. Nash then came over and kicked Jericho in the head, which set up to Hall putting Jericho into a sleeper hold. He realised that it wasn't a smart move to put a submission hold on outside the ring, so he hit a fallaway slam instead. Hall taunted the crowd a bit, which lead them to break out a "Diamond Stud!" chant. This just made Hall more violent as he picked Jericho up, threw him into the guardrail again, then immediatly into the steel steps. As Jericho hit, a sickening thud was heard, and Jericho was busted open. Hall threw him back into the ring, picked him up and hit him with a slap, sending him down again. He picked him up once more, and a chop takes him right back down. Hall was just toying with him. Then, Hall tagged back out to Nash. Jericho was able to spark a comeback with help from Edge, when they hit a double flying dropkick on Nash. Jericho stayed on the offensive for a bit, and finally tagged out to Edge at about the 12 minute mark. The match finished with Edge and Hall outside the ring. Edge was able to get the advantage thanks to the use of the same steel steps that cut Jericho open earlier. Edge then hit his Edgecution on the cement floor, leaving Hall out cold. Edge climbed back into the ring, leaving Hall out on the floor. The ref contniued to count to 10, and Edge and Chris Jericho were declared the winners by countout.
Canadian Standard (Chris Jericho and Edge) defeated
The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) when Edge defeated S. Hall by countout
in 0:15:51.
Rating: ** 1/4

Singles Match- Jeff Jarrett vs. Jeff Garvin:
This was one of the quicker matches in AWC history, as it only lasted about 1 minute! Lets go to PbP:

J.O.B. Squad Responds to AMW

(J.O.B. Squad's music hits and the crowd pops. Rhino and Al Snow walk out, very slowly, from the back. They are bruised and limping a bit. They finally make their way into the ring and Snow has the mic. They both looked extremely pissed off, which is a look we are not used to from these two men here in the AWC.)

Snow: "AMW, you son's 'A bitches! How dare you attack us from behind! You two might like being hit from behind, but we don't appreciate it. And you know what? If your goal was to get our attention, then congratulations, because you got it! Next week, wether you like it or not, you are going to get an ass beating courtesy of the J-O-B Squad!

Interview:
DiBiase and Batista have something to say

(Batista's Music hits and the crowd boos loudly. Him and DiBiase make their way down to the ring. Batista looks focused as always. DiBiase, as per usual, has a mic in his hand.)

DB: *explicit* YOU TOO! Last night was a crock of shit. Batista never got pinned! His shoulder was up, and anyone with any eyesight whatsoever should have seen that. Here, lets look at the replay. Roll the tape!

(The Elimination Chamber match is shown, specifically the part where Batista was eliminated. You clearly see that his shoulder was NOT up.)

DB: SEE!! RIGHT THERE! It's up Goddammit! So, with this newly found evidence, Batista wants to make a challenge.

(DiBiase shoves the mic into Batista's chest so he will take it. Batista looks at it, then back at him looking very confused. He stands there and just stares at DiBiase blankly. DiBiase takes it back to his mouth.)

DB: Aww Christ, Batista. Anyway, like I said, Batista challenges Raven *MYSTERIOUSLY, THE CROWD POPS* to a match next week! Oh, and we want your title on the line!"

(With that said, the lights in the arena go out. About 1.5234522 seconds later they come back on. There is a black raven (a bird, not the wrestler) sitting on the turnbuckle staring at Batista. Batista and DiBiase shit a brick and flee the ring.)

Match observations:

Christopher Daniels and Shawn Michaels were both injured in their matches at Retribution. Michaels' injury seems to be less as he should return in 2 more cards and Daniels not until about 5 more cards.

America's Most Wanted made their presence known to the world and the Tag Champs as they started off the show by beating up the Tag Champs. They finised the night out also, by beating the tag champs in a 6-man tag match that also featured Donovan Morgan with the Champs and newcomer Billy Gunn with AMW. But, what is up these referees tonight? We saw Snow complaining quite a bit about the refereeing in this match, just like the Semi-Main event.

Psicosis, after coming off of an incredible Ladder match and getting a $1,000,000 contract to the AWC, beating out Paul London, was able to beat The Undertaker tonight in what turned out to be a bloody brawl.

Batista and DiBiase were frightened out of the ring after challenging Raven to a match next week when a real-life raven appeared on the turnbuckle. Should we consider that an acceptence by Raven?

The Outsiders got beat again tonight, this time against Canadian Standard in the opening match.

Jeff Jarrett was able to pull of a win tonight, unlike last night. He beat newcomer Jeff Garvin (who came in to partner up with Donvan Morgan because of Christopher Daniels being injured).

And finally, Lance Storm was able to pick up a VERY controversial victory with help from Heel Refferee Gary Greggs against Stevie Richards.

Number One Contenders Match for Tag Team Titles- Canadian Standard vs. Donovan Morgan/Jeff Garvin:
Both of these teams were trying to earn the right to take the Gold from the dominant Tag Team Champions, J.O.B. Squad.  But, one competitor never showed up to the arena!  We have yet to find out where Christopher Daniels was tonight, but I'm sure he will be reprimanded.  Jeff Garvin was nice enough to step in for him, but, due to the green factor of Morgan and Garvin (not being a regular tag team), Canadian Standard was able to pick up their second victory in two weeks.  They are now the #1 Contenders for the AWC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship belts:

Match observations:

The J.O.B. Squad is proving to be like the Detroit Pistons of the Tag Team wrestling world: they play best with their backs against the wall.  Last week they got pinned by AMW in a 6-man, non-title matchup, but this week, when their titles were on the line, as they have always done, they retained.  These guys are the Original holders of these belts and they are going on to their TENTH WEEK of holding them!  Incredible.

AJ Styles returned to get a win at the mid-card level over one of his foes from the Elimination Chamber Match Jeff Jarrett.  The crowd gave Styles an amazing standing ovation when his music played.

Canadian Standard scored their second victory in a row, this time over Donovan Morgan and Christopher Daniels' fill-in, Jeff Garvin, to become number one contenders for the AWC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

We seen the return of "Biohazard" Johnny Toxic (this time in singles action).  He took on "International Superstar" Psicosis, but Psicosis was able to pick up the victory.

Then there was an impromptu match between Kane and Billy Gunn that saw Billy Gunn pick up the win after the Fame-Ass-Er.

The most important match of the evening came in the Main Event in the form of a AWC North American Heavyweight Championship match featuring Raven, the Champ, against Batista.  This match was incredible, but even after Ted DiBiase tried to help Batista out, Raven was able to finish of the challenger and earn his first title retain.

So, without further ado, sit back, relax, and enjoy AWC where we left off, two weeks removed from the first PPV (which is always available for reading a second, or first, time up above). Interview:
DiBiase Is Put In His Place

A Segment was shown where DiBiase was whining about the match last week, again saying that it wasn't a fair fight, this time because the ref was out to get him. He demanded a rematch once again. This time, Roddy Piper had enough of it and came down and told DiBiase to "shut the hell up" which generated an extremely huge crowd pop. Piper apologized to the crowd for showing up on the program once again, but he just couldn't listen to "this asshole" (HUGE CROWD POP) 'demand' title matches anymore. The crowd repsonded with a "Piper! Piper!" chant. Then Piper informed DiBiase and Batista that the only way he was going to get another title shot next week is if he can beat not one, but two wrestlers in a Handicapped Match tonight in the main event! DiBiase was pissed, but the boss had spoken and the match was set for the main event.

Match observations:

Week 11 Notes:

Al Snow, unfortunately, injured his knee in J.O.B. Squad's title retain, and will be out for 2 weeks.

Kane and Billy Gunn settled nothing with a Double Countout.

Piper set the order of heiarchy straight when he told off DiBiase and ordered a Handicapped Match for Batista.

AJ Styles took out another one of his Elimination Chamber opponents, beating the Undertaker tonight with a surprise rollup pin.

We saw the debut of another wrestler tonight as he teamed up with Psicosis to take on Johnny Toxic and Chris Harris. Psicosis and his partner were able to get another victory tonight (For Psicosis it was another, anyway).

Then, the big match of the night, the main event: A Handicap Match for the #1 Contendership match featuring Batista versus Chris Benoit and Stevie Richards. Batista was getting beat handedly by the two men until Benoit decided it would be OK to throw the ref out of the ring...TWICE! Well, once the ref was out the second time, DiBiase came in with a chair. He tried to hit Benoit, but Benoit ducked and DiBiase clocked Batista! It looked like it might be over for Batista, but once the ref came to, he disqualified Benoit and Richards, thus giving the win to Batista. So, now that Batista won tonight, he will get a chance to face the AWC North American Heavyweight Champion Raven!

Psymin1Posted on 04/01/09 at 19:37:49

LOL, ah yes!  My favorite ruleset to date, in fact.  :D  Thanks for making such a great ruleset.  This remains my best fed to date (as sad as that is, because this only went about 20-something cards).
