NAWA Glory 6/16/05

We see clips last week of Bryan Danielson making Miles Stylish tap out at the conclusion of the eight man tag, leading up to Night of the Rogues, where Miles Stylish will put the NAWA World Championship on the line against Bryan Danielson!

NAWA Commissioner New Jack is backstage, announcing that tonight we will see several preview matches for the six way elimination match at Night of the Rogues this Sunday. Raven will square off against Tony Mamaluke. Jerry Lynn goes head to head with CM Punk, and Ron Waterman faces off with Scott Steiner. In addition to those three matches, the NAWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley put the gold on the line against the two men will wrestle in the main event at Night of the Rogues, the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Bryan Danielson and the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish. New Jack warns them that if they decide to get things started a bit early, during their NAWA World Tag Team Title Match, they will be stripped of their respective titles and the main event for Night of the Rogues is off. The Commissioner has spoken, enjoy the show.

Twizted Youth vs Ron Killings(w/Larry Sweeney)

Unlike his usual street attire when he was the Rapmaster, Killings comes out in a three piece suit with his hair styled nicely to boos from the crowd. Underneath his suit is a plain pair of white tights, as he looks to be getting down to business. No rapping, no playing to the crowd. Sweeney gets on commetary, saying that Rapmaster Killings was a joke, but Ron Killings will rise to the top of the food chain in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. He mentions that Killings has a match with AJ Styles at Night of the Rogues and Styles will pay for spurning Sweeney. While Sweeney hypes up his men on commentary, Killings picks apart the shoulder of Tiwzted Youth, connecting with a vicious shoulderbreaker. This sets up the cross face chickenwing. Twizted Youth screams, like his shoulder has been dislocated before he taps out, giving Killings the victory in his first match out under the management of Larry Sweeney.

Ron Killings made Twizted Youth submit to a crossface chickenwing in 0:02:46.
Rating: DUD

Killings beats down Twizted Youth after the match, before grabbing the arm and dropping a leg on it. He pounds away at the arm as the fans chant for AJ Styles but he is not here tonight, resting up his shoulder after Killings punished him with the cross face chickenwing last week. Sweeney enters the ring and stomps away at Twizted Youth, before placing a business card on top of him.

Backstage:

The NAWA World Tag Team Champions Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley are standing by with Dan Marion. Marion hypes up the big match they have against the Rottweilers at Night of the Rogues but they might not be the NAWA World Tag Team Champions after tonight as they face off against the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Bryan Danielson and the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish tonight in what should be a tough tag encounter. Sabin interrupts saying that while Danielson and Stylish are a pair of great singles wrestlers, they have never teamed up before. Sabin and Bentley have teamed up together for over a year and are NAWA World Tag Team Champions for a reason. Tonight they are going to prove that a really great tag team can beat a makeshift team of two singles wrestlers any day. As for the Rottweilers, they might have beaten Sabin and Bentley three times before they had became champions but at Night of the Rogues, they will come out on tonight. This will be the biggest week in their careers, to solidify their status as NAWA World Tag Team Champions.

A podium is in the ring, with members of the press at ringside, as the NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk, along his entourage of Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law, Mr. Fernando, Candace Sweet, Bruno the Bodyguard, C.W. Anderson, and Simon Diamond are in the ring. Candace proudly announces that once again, Sederick Skyhawk will go into a Pay Per View as the NAWA Television Champion and much like every other time he's defended that belt, he will come out on top. The Gambler is just a flavor of the month, while Sederick Skyhawk is here to stay.

Skyhawk gets up, the NAWA Television Championship belt draped over the podium, saying that the Gambler might have scored a few lucky wins but in the end, it won't matter. The Gambler is nothing compared to a true star like Sederick Skyhawk. Skyhawk is the reason that the fans tune in and he will be a featured attraction at WrestleClash IV, against whomever is lucky enough to get a chance at glory, their brush with greatness and it will be with his NAWA Television Championship on the line. Just like with Killings, with Stasiak, with Styles, with Lynn, and last week on Glory with Teddy Hart, The Gambler will burn out underneath the star of Sederick Skyhawk. In fact, Skyhawk is so confident that he can beat the Gambler, that he is giving his entire entourage the night off. They can spend the night in the back or wherever they chose, but the fact is, Skyhawk will face the Gambler one on one, straight up, with no one at ringside, for the NAWA Television Championship.

Ricardo looks confused before he asks Skyhawk if this is a good idea. Skyhawk seems offended that Ricardo is doubting his ability to defeat the Gambler. For a brief moment, he thought that the Gambler might be a potential threat, with his wins over the likes of Christopher Daniels and Miles Stylish, but they are not a star of the highest magnitude like Sederick Skyhawk. Skyhawk vows that he will walk out of Night of the Rogues as NAWA Television Champion and much like many of the women in the crowd tonight, the Gambler will be flat on his back. The crowd boos but Skyhawk says just like them, the Gambler will never be a champion, a winner, a true star like Sederick Skyhawk.

Skyhawk and his entourage leaves. The Gambler is not here tonight as he is training for his championship title shot against Sederick Skyhawk at Night of the Rogues. Skyhawk seems to be confident but will that confidence be the undoing of his title reign? We'll find out at Night of the Rogues this Sunday when the Gambler goes for the NAWA Television Championship against Sederick Skyhawk.

Bentley dodges a rolling elbow smash and comes back off the ropes with a leaping clothesline!

Both men are down on the canvas and Sabin extends into the ring for the tag. Stylish does the same, although a bit sarcastically as if mocking Sabin, baiting him to enter the ring. Sabin does not rise to the bait and Danielson makes the tag to Stylish. Stylish enters the ring and grabs the foot of Bentley, pulling him into the canvas. Elbowdrop is missed and Bentley rolls before making the tag to Sabin. Sabin rushes into the ring and hammers a series of punches away on Stylish.
