NAWA Glory 6/2/05

"Natural Born Killerz" is playing and NAWA Commissioner New Jack is in the ring as we come on the air for a microphone. New Jack looks out to the crowd, before he begins to talk. All week, he's been in meetings, trying to determine who will be the number one contender for August 14th at WrestleClash IV. So, after much debate, he has come to only one conclusion...

"Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees plays and out comes Larry Sweeney, along with Tony Mamaluke, the NAWA International Champion, who has the belt draped over his shoulder. Sweeney says it should have not taken two weeks to determine that only one man should get a title shot, at the biggest Pay Per View of the year and that's Tony Mamaluke.

"Bodies" by Drowning Pool kick up and out comes Scott Steiner who looks angry. Mamaluke backs off as Steiner yells that he should be the one who gets the title shot. He says he'll snap Mamaluke in half like a toothpick if he gets in his way. Sweeney brags that Steiner wants no part of Tony Mamaluke but Steiner steps forward, causing Sweeney to back off, before he falls back.

"A Call for Blood" by Hatebreed plays and out comes CM Punk to boos from the crowd. Punk says that both Mamaluke and Steiner might be good, but they're not straight edge, which is and straight edge means Punk should get the NAWA World Title Shot at WrestleClash IV. Steiner calls Punk a pussy for not drinking beer. Mamaluke says that Punk might be good, but he's no Tony Mamaluke. Punk remarks that at least he won't pop if he gets pricked like a pin like Scott Steiner and he also brings up the time where he beat Mamaluke for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title. This gets Mamaluke into a tizzy and Steiner is yelling angrily.

"CAW, CAW, CAW"

"Come Out and Play" by Offspring plays and Raven is in the crowd. Raven talks about how he should get the title shot. He reminds us that he is a former two time NAWA World Champion and he won the main event at last year's WrestleClash, beating Christopher Daniels in a Walk Through Hell Match. Mamaluke calmly asks "what have you done since then?" Punk chimes in that Raven has lost to him several times. Steiner just casually says if Raven gets in his way, he'll kill him. Raven comments that regaining the NAWA World Title is his destiny and he won't be denied.

"In the End" by Linkin Park kicks up and out comes Jerry Lynn. Lynn gets on the microphone, reminding us that he was a half of a second away from winning the Iron Man Match and says, he wants one last chance at the belt, at WrestleClash IV, no matter who the champion is. Mamaluke snickers at the thought and Scott Steiner promises Lynn's death as well if he gets in his way. The five wrestlers out there are yelling at each other as New Jack looks pissed in the ring and is about to say something...

"The Unforgiven" by Metallica plays and out comes Ron Waterman. Punk, Lynn, Sweeney, and Mamaluke all back off, but Scott Steiner stands on the ramp, staring down Waterman pipe in hand. Waterman doesn't have a microphone, but he puts his hands to his waist, before he motions that he is also after the NAWA Championship. The other five begin to state their case on why Waterman shouldn't get the title shot and they should.

New Jack yells, saying he knows exactly what he's going to do. He's going to take all six men, Tony Mamaluke, CM Punk, Scott Steiner, Raven, Jerry Lynn, and Ron Waterman and at Night of the Rogues, he is going to put them in a match. All six of them. Two men will start out, by random drawing. Then every five minutes, another man will enter, until all six men have entered. Eliminations will happen by pinfall or submission, the last man standing will be the man who will challenge for the NAWA World Title at WrestleClash IV, against either Bryan Danielson or Miles Stylish.

Everyone nods as Scott Steiner steps forward, as he's face to face with Ron Waterman. Steiner swings the pipe but Waterman ducks. Clothesline knocks Steiner down to the ground and Waterman stomps away at Steiner. Steiner rolls around on the ground as Sweeney, Mamaluke, and Punk quickly take their leave, but Armageddon and Destruction rushes from the back. Waterman takes them out with a double clothesline. STEINER HITS WATERMAN WITH THE PIPE FROM BEHIND! Waterman goes down and the Archangels join Steiner in triple teaming Waterman but Jerry Lynn and Raven come down the ramp and start trading punches with the Archangels. Waterman is up and blocks a second pipe shot before he pounds away at Steiner. New Jack calls for security to break up the battle. He announces that tonight, a six man tag team match will take place involving the Archangels of Anarchy and Scott Steiner against Ron Waterman, Jerry Lynn and Raven. The crowd cheers at this blockbuster six man tag team match for tonight.

Seventy three more days ot WrestleClash IV. August 14th only on Pay Per View.

Sederick Skyhawk is backstage with Candace Sweet, Bruno the Bodyguard, Mr. Fernando, and Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney at Law, for a special press conference. Candace says that Skyhawk is a true champion and a great athlete, the best in NAWA history. He's fought hard and defended his NAWA Television Championship against a variety of competitors. Killings, AJ Styles, and Jerry Lynn are among the names that have fallen to Skyhawk. But, recently, the Gambler has decided to overstep his bounds. Candace registers her disgust that someone like the Gambler would be allowed on television, saying that he is nothing but a common man and does not have the superior breeding of a great champion like Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk is a true champion and a star that fans pay their money to see. What is the Gambler but someone who got lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time?

Sederick Skyhawk steps in and says he doesn't sweat the Gambler. Ricardo says that's right, The Gambler might have defeated the likes of Christopher Daniels and Miles Stylish in the past, but Skyhawk can take him. When Ricardo brings up this fact, Skyhawk looks less confident of his abilities to defeat the Gambler. Ricardo reassures him that he's the NAWA Television Champion, he can take the Gambler, at Night of the Rogues and in fact, he's taken the liberty of signing Skyhawk to a title defense next week to prepare him. Skyhawk asks who's the bum he gets to beat for the exhibition and Ricardo responds with "Teddy Hart" which causes Candace to freak out big time at this. Candace yells this wasn't clear with her, but Ricardo says that Skyhawk has given him power of attorney and Skyhawk looks less than thrilled because Teddy Hart is the longest reigning champion in NAWA history, with his epic thirteen month run as NAWA World Champion. Skyhawk tells everyone to stay in the back, because tonight, him, Simon Diamond, and CW Anderson will take care of the Gambler, Elix Skipper, and Petey Williams. Candace and Ricardo are shouting at each other, with Fernando looking like a goof and Bruno looking menacing as Skyhawk goes out on his own for this six man tag team match coming up next on Glory.

Coming Up Next: The Contract Signing between the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish and the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion and Number One Contender for the NAWA World Championship, Bryan Danielson. More Glory after these messages.

Out comes NAWA Commissioner New Jack, dressed in a three piece suit and a bandanna. There is a table and two chairs in the ring, along with a clipboard. New Jack announces that this is the contract signing for the NAWA World Title Match at Night of the Rogues. First he introduces the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion, the winner of the 2005 Gold Rush Tournament, and the number one contender for the NAWA World Championship, Bryan Danielson. The announcers hype out how in less than six months, Danielson has risen to a height that only few wrestlers dreamed of. He dominated the independent circuit for years and now he's in the NAWA. Danielson sits down, dressed in a nice suit, as he has the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Belt draped firmly over his shoulder.

"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish, who is wearing a suit that looks to cost more than your average house. Stylish sits down as New Jack explains the rules. It will be sixty minute time limit for the NAWA World Championship. All standard rules apply. The title, as always in the NAWA unlike other companies, can change hands on a countout or a disqualification. The winner of this match will have their ticket punched as the defending champion for the main event at WrestleClash IV. Stylish also grabs the microphone to add that a special additional stipulation has been added. This is Danielson's first, last, and only title shot as long as Stylish is the champion. If he fails to win the title at Night of the Rogues, there will be no excuses. Stylish beats Danielson and he's shut out for any future title shots as long as Stylish holds the belt.

Danielson responds calmly that he has no problem with that. Most wrestlers take a dozen or so shots at the NAWA World Championship before they are ready to take the title. Danielson intends to get the gold on his first crack and if he doesn't, then maybe he's not quite ready for the gold yet. Without hesitation he signs the contract and Stylish signs the contract immediately after, with a smug expression on his face, before he slides the NAWA World Title belt across the table, inviting Danielson to touch it, because "that's as close as you're getting to my title". Stylish puts over Danielson's performance as NAWA Cruiserweight Champion over the past several months but he's playing at a whole new level. Danielson might be one of the best but Stylish is the best and at Night of the Rogues, Stylish will prove that when he beats Danielson.

Danielson doesn't respond for a bit but he calmly states that he will see Stylish in the ring at Night of the Rogues and we'll see who the better man is on that night. New Jack orders both men to shake hands and they do with a tense moment. The fans await for an attack to happen and for a second, Stylish backs off, before he slaps Danielson right across the face in the ultimate sign of disrespect! Danielson stands in the ring before HE WALLOPS STYLISH RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH AN ELBOW SMASH! The crowd explodes into cheers as Stylish has been knocked loopy by that one elbow strike. Danielson steps back, as the NAWA World Champion has been taken out by just one strike. That might be all it takes for Danielson to reach the next level but we are out of time. See you next week!

Next Week: The NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish, the NAWA International Champion Tony Mamaluke, CM Punk, and Scott Steiner square off against the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Bryan Danielson, Jerry Lynn, Raven, and Ron Waterman in a big eight man tag team match next week on Glory!

Dude, I love your shows, unlike a certain guy who's Initials are SJC. I like the detail in them. I don't put a lot of detail in mine, but at least I build up my cards. The only time I just run straight-forward matches is when I run a puro circuit.

However, I may get into a doing a lot more detail in my circuit that I will post soon, because it uses fantasy wrestlers, and with fantasy circuits I feel the more detail the better, because it helps to explain the characters more.
