Help The Music Died   ( Intro Music)

doors11Posted on 07/15/06 at 21:29:16

I haven't played for awhile and now the intro music doesn't play anymore..It doesn't work in the Theme Music Wizard either....

Any help of things to try would be great...

I thought there used to be a place to edit this...

Thanks again

Your speakers aren't muted are they?  I can't tell you the number of times this has happened to me.   :-

OR

The audio files you're using are in their proper place, correct?

I did have a similar problem to yours before, however, I didn't have (nor do I have) a reg'd copy of the theme music wizard, so I was/am stuck with the filenames I used during the trial.

No The  music Files all play fine on several music players.

And sound works fine on all other games, just TNM7se  now for some reason..

it's like something has changed in the game telling it where to play the files or something..

It kind of really sucks not having intro music...

Any one else with any idea's to try?

Well, make sure if you look in the TNM database that the songs are where they are supposed to be- right path and drive. Also, it's been my experience that long filenames sometimes make TNM angry in the pre-Theme Music Wizard era, so you might wanna try shortening all your song names to DOS-legal length and re-type them into the theme field in the database. I've had problems in both of those areas, once for changing hard drives and forgetting that I moved my TNMWAVs directory and once before I got the theme wizard. Hope that helps...!

I wish it was that problem..

I've changed nothing   ...the tnm7se folder is in the same place...I just hadn't played in a while is all..

The song titles are the same as always also, nevr added any new ones...Like i said it worked fine  went to play and now not working..

Is there any thing in tnm7se that says where the game plays the music files and what it uses to play them? What music program..

Thanks
