As always, i'm your host Jack Sharp sitting alongside Jim Monroe and like every week, the action is hot and heavy here in Hell fire Wrestling. Jim: That's right, Jack. Tonight we have the Hellfire Champion, Austin Aries defending against Japanese superstar Go Shiazaki as well as a six man battle royal to determine a new #1 contender to the TV title, currently held by Delirious. Jack: Who by the way is at home nursing an injured arm but promises to be watching that match very carefully from wherever he may be. In what will be an interesting match, two new teams will debut and the winning team will walk away with a contract to stay here in HFW. Jim: But right now, we have to go to the ring because it's time for Kevin Steen and El Generico to defend their Tag Team gold. *** World Tag Title Defense Kevin Steen & El Generico vs The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) **** Jack: Kevin Steen and Jay Briscoe start things off....Steen with the first move in as he hits an elbow to the face. Jim: And here come The Age of the Fall down to ringside. Jack: Oh man...this can't be good. Jim: Steen now with an inverted power bomb on Jay Briscoe. And the fans are behind Steen one hundred precent. Jack: Kevin Steen throws Jay Briscoe into the turnbuckle, but Jay reverses it and takes Steen down with a chop. Jim: Follows up with a slap and Steen has stumbled into the corner. Jack: Jay taking a few steps back and hits a running bootscrape on Kevin Steen....a cover. 1.... 2.... SHOULDER UP! Jim: Jay with a Death Valley Driver on Steen and the crowd is going crazy. Jack: Following up with a diving shoulderblock, but Kevin Steen ducks out of the way. Jim: NECRO BUTCHER PULLS STEEN OUT OF THE RING AND FISTS-A-FLYIN!!! Jack: The Briscoes and El Generico with triple dives out of the ring and this is just insane. Jim: The referee has no choice but to throw this match out and declare it a NO CONTEST. Jack: And now everyone is just fighting around ringside and security out here to break things up, dragging The Age of the Fall to the backstage area. Jim: MY GOD!!! Let's take a break and get control back of the show. |

While we were on break, Jigsaw came down to the ring and demanded that anyone in the back come down to fight him. Jim: Jigsaw has not had a great couple of weeks and is certainly looking to make an impact. Jack: That's right. And his challenge has been answered by this newcomer by the name of Slyk Wagner Brown. Let's go down to the ring for the action. *** Jigsaw vs Slyk Wagner Brown *** Jack: These two men lock up and Brown with the first shot as he nails Jigsaw with a knee to the midsection....follows up with a leg lariat and Jigsaw is on his back. Jim: Pulls Jigsaw to his feet and drives him headfirst into the turnbuckle. Jack: These fans are starting a small chant for Brown as he hits a spinning headscissors on Jigsaw....goes for another headsmash into the turnbuckle, but Jigsaw blocks it. Jim: Jigsaw with a kick to the chest but Brown catches the boot and hits a dropkick on Jigsaw. Jack: Slyk Wagner Brown runs into the ropes...Jigsaw misses with an elbow but is able to capitalize with a kick. Follows up with a rana and goes for the cover. Ref: 1... 2... THREE!!!! Jack: Jigsaw is getting a good reaction from the crowd and now he's got the microphone. Jigsaw: See that right there...that's what I've been talking about for weeks now. I ask for some competition and this is what I get. Clearly, everyone in the locker room is scared to get in the ring with me. I don't care who I have to beat up...I WILL get a shot at some gold here in Hell Fire Wrestling. Just wait. Jim: Jigsaw sending a message to the locker room and up next, we have a pair of tag teams who are both looking to get a contract here in HFW. Let's see who they are... *** Rock & Rave Infection vs Ring Crew Express *** Jack: These two teams are no strangers to the fans here in Hell Fire Wrestling. Jimmy Rave joined by his tag partner, Lance Hoyt while on the other side of the ring, we have Dunn & Marcos -- 2 guys who started out as literal members of the ring crew who set up the building each and every week. Jim: Dunn with a forearm to the back of Jimmy Rave as Marcos enters to make it a two on one situation. Jack: Marcos goes for a piledriver, but Jimmy Rave blocks it, forcing Marcos to roll out of the ring. Jim: Jimmy Rave takes Dunn down with a full nelson faceslam and follows with a whip into the corner....follows in with a spear and Dunn is chopped liver right now. Jack: Rave whips Dunn into the ropes...AND CHRISTY HEMME PULLS DOWN THE TOP STRAND, SENDING DUNN TUMBLING TO THE FLOOR! Jim: The referee threatening to disqualify Jimmy Rave for that move but allows the match to continue. Jack: Rave with a diving sunset flip power bomb but Dunn able to move out of the way at the last second. Jim: The referee starts thr count as Dunn shoves Rave into the guardrail...goes for a clothesline but Rave ducks out of the way. Ref: 2... Jim: Rave with an armdrag takedown as the referee hits the three count....rolls back in and Dunn follows him into the ring. Jack: THE MOVE THAT ROCKS THE WORLD!!! Jim: Rave goes for the cover. Ref: 1.... 2.... THREE!!!! Jack: The Rock & Rave Infection just gained themselves a contract here in H F W!!! Jim: Congratulations to Rave & Hoyt...we hope to see good things from them in the weeks to come. But right now, it's more tag team action as The Age of the Fall meets Sweet & Sour Inc. Jack: Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black set to meet Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards, with Adam Pearce in their corner. *** The Age of the Fall (Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs) vs Sweet & Sour Inc (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) *** Jim: Here in the late moments of the match as Eddie Edwards goes for a backbreaker, but Jimmy Jacobs able to counter it with a facerake. Jack: Jacobs hits a chop on Eddie Edwards and tries to go for a headbutt but Edwards able to block it. Jim: Edwards back on the offense now as he hits a forearm to the back of Jimmy Jacobs and locks in an abdominal stretch. Jack: The referee checking to see if Jacobs wants to quit but not getting any response. Jim: Edwards cinching the hold in and looking to make Jacobs say "I Quit." Jack: But no luck so Edwards decides to release the hold after about twelve long seconds. Puts Jacobs down with a springboard dropkick and Jimmy Jacobs begging off as Edwards stalks him. Jim: Edwards sets Jacobs up on the turnbuckle and hits a Moonsault Side Slam. Jack: These fans are actually cheering for Eddie Edwards as he takes a moment to look out at the crowd. Jim: Adam Pearce on the outside not happy that Edwards is focusing on the fans and is yelling at him to get his head back in the match. Jack: Edwards finally goes for the cover. Ref: 1.... 2.... THREE!!!! Jim: Sweet & Sour Inc gain a victory as Adam Pearce gives an earful to Eddie Edwards who is clamoring for the praise from the fans. Jack: Edwards, Richards, and Pearce heading to the back now. Up next, we have a Hell Fire Title Match as Austin Aries faces off against Japanese Import, Go Shiazaki. *** Hell Fire Title Match Austin Aries (c) vs Go Shiazaki *** Jim: Go Shiozaki punches Austin Aries and the crowd are starting a very odd chant of "THIS IS BORING!". Jack: Aries chops him back and the crowd is basically not into this match one bit. Jim: A chop and kick and punch battle in the middle of the ring and some of the fans are starting to leave. Jack: Somebody tell the referee to send this match home already...we're gonna lose our crowd! Jim: Shiazaki with a flying dropkick on Aries and attempts to place the champ on the top turnbuckle, but Austin Aries blocks it. Jack: Go Shiazaki with a kick to the head of Austin Aries and hits a fisherman buster but the crowd is STILL SILENT! Jim: Shiazaki gives the sign for the Go Flasher...hits it and the fans not even paying attention as they head to the exits. Jack: The cover... Ref: 1.... 2.... THREE!!! Jim: OH MY GOD! GO SHIAZAKI HAS JUST DEFEATED THE HELL FIRE CHAMPION!!! Jack: And there are like ten fans left in the building. Somebody needs to get bodies back in here because we have one more match left. Jim: And what a big one it is...a six man battle royal to crown a NEW number one contender to the TV Title, currently held by Delirious. Jack: We'll be right back after this break. |
| Shaun Sindelman | Posted on 07/19/08 at 04:57:28 Jack: We're back and thank god, most of the fans were outside having a smoke or were using the bathroom because they are in their seats now for what is surely going to be a HOT main event. *** 6 Man Battle Royal To Crown A #1 Contender to the TV Title ROYAL RUMBLE RULES *** Jim: The first two participants are EL GENERICO.... Jack: and NIGEL MCGUINNESS. <<Fast Forward>> Jim: El Generico runs into the ropes...misses with a shoulderblock and Nigel puts him down with a clothesline. Jack: Nigel McGuinness goes for a DDT, but El Generico counters it with a small package. Ref: 1... 2... THR...KICKOUT! Jim: El Generico yells, "OLE!" and the crowd is entirely behind him. Jack: El Generico goes for a forearm smash, but Nigel McGuinness blocks it and sends Generico into the turnbuckle. Jim: AND HERE COMES PARTICIPANT NUMBER 3....TYLER BLACK!!! <<Fast Forward>> Jack: Tyler Black takes El Generico down with a facebuster onto the knee....follows up with a bodyslam. Jim: Black runs into the ropes and puts Generico down with a knee to the face. Jack: Goes for a vertical suplex attempt but El Generico able to block it. ..applies a hammerlock and chops Tyler Black several times. Jim: AND HERE'S TANK TOLAND!!! <<Fast Forward>> Jack: Nigel McGuinness takes El Generico down with a drop toe hold while Black comes down with a knee to the face of Generico. Jim: Nice teamwork there. Jack: Nigel McGuinness goes for a rolling reverse cradle, but El Generico reverses it. Ref: 1... 2.... SHOULDER UP!!! Jim: El Generico catches Nigel McGuinness in an armbar submission. Jack: HERE COMES RUCKUS!!! Jim: Tyler Black able to break the armbar submission, saving Nigel from having to possibly tap out. <<Fast Forward>> Jim: We have five guys battling it out here still as nobody has been eliminated yet and we are awaiting to see who will be the final entrant. Jack: Nigel McGuinness hits El Generico with a snap mare and goes for the cover. Ref: 1.... KICKOUT!!! Jim: Nigel McGuinness shoves down the referee for what he believes is a slow count. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Ruckus and Tank Toland are duking it out. Jack: Ruckus runs into the ropes but Tank Toland catches him with a fireman's carry takedown...the cover. Ref: 1... 2..... KICKOUT!!! Jim: Tank Toland whips Ruckus into the ropes and Ruckus bounces back with a flying clothesline. [RUCKUS! RUCKUS! RUCKUS!] Jack: The fans getting behind the sole representative thus far from The Vulture Squad but Toland slaps the taste out of Ruckus' mouth. Jim: Let's check on El Generico who is battling with Tyler Black. Jack: Generico with a hammerlock....AND HERE COMES KEVIN STEEN!!! Jim: Steen immediately going after Tyler Black. Jack: Tyler with a forearm but Steen sidesteps and Tyler Black only hits air. Jim: Powerslam and cover. Ref: 1.... 2.... KICKOUT!!! Jack: Kevin Steen complaining about a slow count. <<Fast Forward>> Jim: We're about fifteen minutes into the match and still not a single elimination. Jack: Well, the referee has been KO'ed for some time no thanks to Tyler Black. Jim: El Generico takes Tyler Black down with the Orange Crush Bomb and the crowd is on their feet cheering for the Generic Luchador. Jack: Generico going for the pin and the referee still a bit dazed but back on the job as he makes the count. Ref: 1.... 2.... SHOULDER UP!!! Jim: Generico gives the sign for the Brainbustah Jack: AND THERE IT IS!!! The cover... 1.... 2.... THREE!!! Jim: The crowd erupts as Tyler Black has been eliminated. <<Fast Forward>> Jack: Kevin Steen hits Tank Toland with a chop...goes for a kick to the midsection but Tolan able to catch the foot and push Steen aside. Jim: Toland into the ropes and as he bounces back, there's Kevin Steen with an elbow shot. Jack: Toland on his back as Steen puts the boots to him. Meanwhile, El Generico is tangling with Nigel McGuinness while Ruckus takes a breaher in the corner. Jim: Generico with a backbreaker on McGuinness and the crowd is excited. Jack: A whip into the ropes but Nigel reverses it. Jim: Nigel McGuinness goes for an enzuigiri, but El Generico ducks out of the way and hits a tiger suplex on Nigel. Ref: 1..... 2..... THREE!!! Jack: Nigel McGuinness has been eliminated and the crowd is giving El Generico a standing ovation. Jim: Quickly, he moves over to Tank Toland and goes for a forearm to the back...Toland side steps and Generico hits air. Jack: Tank Toland now going for a flapjack but El Generico counters with a sunset flip. 1.... 2.... THREE!!! Jim: OH MY GOD! THAT'S THREE STRAIGHT ELIMINATIONS FROM EL GENERICO!!! Jack: We are down to El Generico, Kevin Steen, and Ruckus. <<Fast Forward>> Jim: Kevin Steen goes for a belly-to-back suplex, but Ruckus counters it with an elbowsmash. Jack: Ruckus goes for a bodyslam, but Kevin Steen counters it with an elbowsmash and takes Ruckus down with a belly to back suplex. Jim: Steen with a gutbuster and goes for the cover. 1.... 2... THR....SHOULDER UP!!! Jack: A very close count there as Steen continues the offense with a flying elbow on Ruckus. Jim: The crowd is going into a frenzy now knowing that another elimination could happen at any second. Jack: PACKAGE PILEDRIVER!!! Ref: 1.... 2.... THREE!!! Jack: WE ARE DOWN TO TWO PARTICIPANTS!!! Jim: And who would've thought it would be tag team partners, Kevin Steen and El Generico. Jack: These fans are on their feet chanting for both of these men. Jim: Kevin Steen hits a superkick on El Generico and takes a moment to work the crowd into a further frenzy. Jack: Overheard belly to belly on El Generico...AND A SECOND ONE!!! Jim: The cover... Ref: 1..... 2...... THREE!!!! Jack: KEVIN STEEN IS THE NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE HELL FIRE WRESTLING TELEVISION TITLE!!! Jim: And no love lost between these two men as Steen helps Generico to his feet and shakes his hand before parading around the ring, basking in his victory. Jack: These fans are ecstatic to know it will be Delirious vs Kevin Steen for the title coming up soon. Jim: Well, that's it for this week...we'll see you next time on HELL FIRE WRESTLING!!!
