| Shaun Sindelman | Posted on 07/05/08 at 18:40:37 [We open up to see Ruckus waiting in the center of the ring and the fans are chanting Ruckus' name as we cut to ringside where we find the two Hellfire commentators, Jack Sharp & Jim Monroe.] Jack: Welcome to another edition of Hellfire Wrestling! As you can see behind us, Ruckus is awaiting the arrival of his opponent who has remained a mystery. Jim: That's right, Jack. We have absolutely no idea who this person is but what we DO know is that he plans to roll through Ruckus and make a beeline for the Hellfire Title, currently held by Austin Aries. Jack: With that said, let's go up to ring announce Steve Stone with the introduction. Stone: Currently standing in the ring, he is a member of The Vulture Squad.... RUCKUS!!!! [POP!] Stone: And his opponent...making his debut in Hell Fire Wrestling...please welcome... TANKKKKKK TOLANDDDD!!!! Jack: Wow! Tank Toland is in HFW... Jim: and he's being accompanied by Larry Sweeney. Jack: But wait...what about that rumor that whoever this mystery opponent was going to be going after the Hellfire title? If Toland is with Sweeney, doesn't that make him a part of Sweet & Sour Inc? Jim: Your guess is as good as mine, Jack. *** Ruckus vs Tank Toland *** Jack: Let's move right along to the closing moments of the match. <<Fast Forward>> Jack: Ruckus runs into the ropes....Toland misses with a clothesline but as Ruckus bounces off the far side, Tank makes up for it with a dropkick. Jim: Now Toland on the offensive as he whips Ruckus into the ropes. Jack: But Ruckus able to hit a flying clothesline on Tank Toland. [RUCKUS!!! RUCKUS!!! RUCKUS!!!] Jim: These fans are totally behind Ruckus as he now goes for a bulldog... Jack: But Tank Toland throws him off and runs off the ropes. Jim: Ruckus goes for an armdrag takedown, but Tank Toland counters it with a lariat. Jack: Now Toland whips Ruckus into the ropes....and hits a drop toe hold on Ruckus. Jim: Follows up with a flapjack. Jack: Toland pulls Ruckus up to his feet and tries to go for a kick to the midsection but Ruckus able to block it. Jim: Toland being placed up on the top turnbuckle and hits a superplex on Tank Toland. Jack: And these fans are chanting Ruckus' name like crazy! Jim: Ruckus executes the Hate Crime on Tank Toland...and goes for the cover. Ref: ONE.... TWO.... THREE!!!! Jack: Your winner...RUCKUS!!!! Jim: So Ruckus wins over Tank Toland...which definitely is not good for Sweet & Sour Inc. Jack: Next up, we have the first semi-final match of the Hell Fire Wrestling Tag Team Title Tournament as Necro Butcher & Takeshi Morishima face off against The Briscoes. *** Necro & Morishima vs The Briscoes *** Jim: We are 20+ minutes into what can only be described as a pier six brawl all over the building. Jack: And right now they are on the second level of the building as the Necro Butcher hits a Franksteiner on Mark Briscoe. Jim: And the crowd is hot as a frying pan with the cheers and jeers they are emitting. Jack: Necro finds a baseball bat and smashes Mark Briscoe. Jim: HOME RUN!!! Jack: Now Mark Briscoe being thrown into the wall...and he falls down the steps to the arena floor. Jim: Necro Butcher pounces on him with a clawhold but Jay Briscoe comes over to block the shot. Jack: Jay Briscoe hits Necro Butcher with the Jay Driller...and the cover... Ref: ONE.... TWO.... THREE!!!! Jim: The crowd is giving Jay & Mark Briscoe a standing ovation as they have now advanced to the finals, putting them one step close to becoming the first Hell Fire Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Jack: Which brings us to the other semi-final match...who will move on to face The Briscoes? Will it be Chris Hero & Adam Pearce representing Sweet & Sour Inc or will it be Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black, representing The Age of the Fall? Jim: Either faction would love to have the titles in their camp since currently Sweet & Sour holds the Hellfire World Title while Age of the Fall possess the TV title. *** Age of the Fall (Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs) vs Sweet & Sour Inc (Adam Pearce & Chris Hero) *** Jim: Moments ago, Chris Hero had tosses the referee after what Hero felt was a botched call. Jack: And now Tyler Black takes Adam Pearce down with a knee to the face. Jim: But look...Larry Sweeney taking advantage of the KO'ed referee as he slides a boot to Adam Pearce. Jack: Tyler goes to turn Pearce over and gets clocked with that boot...Pearce going for the cover but the referee nowhere to be found. Jim: Pearce quickly gets back on his feet and pulls Tyler Black up as well. Jack: Forearm to the back by Adam Pearce, who follows up with a series of chops. Jim: And these fans seem to be rallying behind Adam Pearce as he continues to deliver kicks and chops to Tyler Black. Jack: Pearce tags out to Chris Hero and now both men hit a double eye gouge on Tyler Black. Jim: One eye per person! Jack: Pearce goes for a clothesline but Tyler able to counter with a hiptoss. Jim: And now Pearce rolls out of the ring as Black focuses on Chris Hero. Jack: Clothesline puts Hero down and now Black goes for an armdrag takedown but Chris Hero able to block it. Jim: Hero able to hit a cravate suplex on Tyler Black as the referee finally crawling back in the ring. Jack: And the bell rings... Jim: What's this?!? It seems the referee has disqualified Chris Hero for tossing him out of the ring earlier. Jack: That means The Age of the Fall will face The Briscoes later in the show for the HFW World Tag Titles. Jim: Can Jacobs & Black bring the gold home? We'll see but right now, another member of the Age of the Fall is set to do battle as John Morrison faces Delirious for the TV title. *** HELLFIRE TV TITLE DEFENSE John Morrison (c) vs Delirious *** Jack: Both men lock up and Morrison immediately going for a forearm smash, but Delirious able to block it as he goes for a chop. Jim: Now a bodyslam from the masked man. Jack: There's the sign for the Splash Mountain but as Delirious goes for it, Morrison able to counter with an elbowsmash. Jim: Morrison with a punch to Delirious as these fans boo him quite loudly. Jack: Delirious able to throw a shot right back... Jim: But something is wrong with Delirious. He seems to be holding his arm. Jack: Delrious going for an enzuigiri, but Morrison ducks out of the way. Jim: Morrison with a forearm to the back of Delirious and whips him into the ropes... Jack: Delirious able to reverse it but Morrison still puts him down with a clothesline. Jim: And Morrison taking a moment to work the crowd, even though they can't stand him one bit. Jack: Morrison now focusing back on Delirious as he hits a low blow...followed by a kneelift. Jim: And continues the offense with a kick to the back of Delirious. Jack: Morrison going for a superkick...but Delirious able to duck out of the way. Jim: And a series of chops from Delirious puts Morrison on a knee. Jack: Forearm smash for the TV champ and now Delirious with an Irish Whip... Jim: But Morrison able to reverse it. Jack: Only for Delirious to bounce back with a shoulderblock. Jim: Shining Wizard!!! Jack: Morrison is down and Delirious going for a slingshot elbowdrop....the cover... ONE..... TWO..... THREE!!!! Jim: Delirious has defeated the Hellfire TV champion and is celebrating with his new title. Jack: But he is still holding that arm... Jim: OH MY GOD! HERE COMES THE AGE OF THE FALL! [Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, and Necro Butcher rush down to the ring. Delirious tries to fight them off but the numbers are against him as they put him down.] Jack: Jimmy Jacobs placing Delirious' arm inside of a chair. *BANG!* Jim: THE AGE OF THE FALL HAS JUST STOMPED DELIRIOUS ARM INSIDE OF A STEEL CHAIR! Jack: HERE COME THE BRISCOES!!! [Jay and Mark Briscoe run down to make the save and end up getting into a brawl with Black & Jacobs that goes up the aisle and towards the backstage area. Necro Butcher & John Morrison follow behind, leaving Delirious in the ring.] Jim: Delirious definitely not looking so good right now as the medical team has come down to look at him. [A few moments pass and with the help of the medical team, Delirious is helped to the back. He has the TV title slung over his shoulder and the fans are on their feet cheering for the new champion.] Jack: We hope to have an update on Delirious by the end of the show but right now, the show must go on. The ladies are up next as Lacey is set to face Daizee Haze. Jim: You know Jack -- we really need to get some more female wrestlers on the roster. I don't know how many times these fans can watch Sara, Daizee, and Lacey do battle each and every week. Jack: That will come right after these commercials. |

Jack: Now the punches have turned to an exchanging of chops between the two women. Jim: Lacey kicks Daizee Haze and goes for an armdrag takedown, but Daizee Haze able to counter it with a backslide. Ref: ONE.... TWO.... Jack: Lacey able to get a foot on the ropes. Jim: And The Haze tosses Lacey out of the ring but she scrambles right back in. Jack: Well it was still the opening Daizee Haze needed as she takes Lacey down with an inverted DDT onto the knee. Jim: The crowd is behind Daizee Haze all the way. Jack: Mind Trip from Daizee Haze...and there's the cover... Ref: ONE...... TWO..... THREE!!!! Jim: The crowd is giving Daizee Haze a standing ovation as she's the winner of this match. Jack: Haze able to get the victory even as her friend Delirious is backstage being attended to after their vicious attack by The Age of the Fall. Jim: Speaking of that attack, it looks like Delirious will be out for a couple of weeks nursing that injury. It remains to be seen what will happen to the TV title if he is unable to defend it. Jack: Very good point...up next, we have a tag team grudge match as Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness picked their partners for what is sure to be an outright grapple fest. Jim: True indeed...not only do you have the tension between Danielson and McGuiness but with their partners, Jigsaw and Eddie Edwards, involved as well -- things could get ugly quick. Jack: Jigsaw promised to make an impact after suffering that loss last week and what better way than to get a victory over someone like Nigel McGuinness. *** Bryan Danielson & Jigsaw vs Nigel McGuinness & Eddie Edwards* Jim: Nigel whips Jigsaw into the ropes...misses with an elbow shot. Jack: Jigsaw quickly going for a palm strike but Nigel able to block it and puts Jigsaw in an armbar submission. Jim: Jigsaw gets to the ropes with no trouble. Jack: Nigel now tossing Jigsaw through the ropes and down to the floor....rolling out as well to follow. Jim: Nigel with a snap mare on the outside...followed by a forearm smash to the back. Jack: The referee hits the one count and Nigel reenters the ring, with Jigsaw right behind him. Jim: Nigel off the ropes....JAWBREAKER LARIAT!!! Jack: The cover... ONE..... TWO.... Jim: EDDIE EDWARDS CUTTING OFF BRYAN DANIELSON! THREE!!!! [BOOOOOOO!!!!] Jack: The fans not too happy with the decision as Jigsaw complains to the referee about a fast count. In the mean time, Nigel and Eddie Edwards are heading up the aisle with a check in the win column. Jim: Another loss for Jigsaw and he has to start to wonder what he needs to do differently to start getting wins here in Hell Fire Wrestling. Jack: The finals of the HFW Tag Title Tournament are coming up but we've received word that The Age of the Fall have left The Briscoes knocked out in the back. Jim: HFW officials have looked around the locker room for a suitable replacement and let's go down to Steve Stone to find out who it will be. Stone: Ladies and gentlemen...due to an attack earlier this evening, The Briscoes will be unable to compete in this final match of the tag title tournament. Rather than declare a forfeit to The Age of the Fall, a replacement team has been found. Please welcome...KEVIN STEEN....AND ELLLLLL GENERICOOOOO!!!! [Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black stomp around the ring like mad as Steen and Generico rush down the aisle and slide into the ring] *** Hellfire World Tag Title Tournament Finals Age of the Fall (Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs) vs Kevin Steen & El Generico *** <<Fast Forward>> Jack: Jimmy Jacobs goes for a lariat, but Kevin Steen counters it with a hiptoss. Jim: And now Jacobs leaving the ring as his partner Tyler Black continues to fight with Steen. Jack: Kevin Steen going for a kick to the midsection, but Tyler Black counters it with a legsweep. Jim: Black nails Steen with a running forearm smash and goes for a cover... ONE..... TWO..... KICKOUT!!! Jack: Tyler Black tags out to Jimmy Jacobs. Jim: And sensing a double team, El Generico enters the ring but is cut off by Black. Jack: Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black hit Kevin Steen with a double chop before Tyler leaves the ring. Jim: Jimmy Jacobs goes for an armdrag takedown, but Kevin Steen counters it with a backslide. ONE.... TWO.... KICKOUT!! Jack:Kevin Steen hits a flying back elbow on Jimmy Jacobs and the fans are cheering like crazy for Kevin Steen. Jim: He's going for the Package Piledriver and the fans are chanting for Steen. Jack: Steen with the cover... ONE.... TWO..... THREE!!!!!!!!! Jim: The crowd explodes as Kevin Steen and El Generico have just won the HFW World Tag Team Titles. Jack: But the celebration not lasting long as here comes Austin Aries, ready to defend that Hellfire World Title against Steen. Jim: Can Steen make it two title victories in one night? Let's find out! *** World Title Defense Austin Aries (c) vs Kevin Steen *** Jack: Kevin Steen takes Austin Aries down with a power bomb....quick cover. ONE.... Kickout! Jim: Kevin Steen climbs to the top turnbuckle, but Austin Aries nails him in the stomach as Steen falls on to the top turnbuckle. Jack: Aries with a top rope Frankensteiner on Kevin Steen. The cover... ONE.... TWO.... THR...SHOULDER UP!!! Jim: Kevin Steen still in this one. Jack: Aries with a kneedrop...follows up with a standing moonsault....another pin attempt. ONE.... SHOULDER UP! Jim: Austin Aries now runs into the ropes....hits Steen with a kick to the head. Jack: The 450 Splash! ONE...... TWO.... THREE!!!! Jim: Austin Aries is being booed like there is no tomorrow as he parades around with the World title. Jack: But hey, Kevin Steen can still walk out of here tonight knowing he has Tag title gold in his hands. Jim: Well folks, that's all for now...see ya next week! [Fade out as Kevin Steen kneels inside the ring, discouraged that he was not able to get the double title victory tonight.] |
