Shaun SindelmanPosted on 06/25/08 at 04:35:44

After stepping away from TNM for a couple of years (due to moving to a Mac system), I finally have returned (thanks to Parallels Desktop and Windows XP).

And with that comes my newest circuit... HELLFIRE WRESTLING -- based on a roster of RoH talent and following Matt Harris' Ruleset.

Below you will find our first TV broadcast.

Enjoy!

TWENTY MAN OVER THE TOP BATTLE ROYAL FOR THE VACANT HELL FIRE TITLE

Claudio Castagnoli/Alex Shelley/Chris Sabin/Nigel McGuinness/Erick Stevens/Jay Briscoe/Mark Briscoe/Delirious/Kevin Steen/El Generico/Bryan Danielson/Jigsaw/Jack Evans/Ruckus/Brent Albright/Davey Richards/Takeshi Morishima/Tyler Black/Jimmy Jacobs/Austin Aries
***

Jack: Let's take a quick moment to review some of the eliminations and then we will pick up the action with the final four participants.

Jim: Early in the match, Erick Stevens was worn down by an armbar submission from Nigel McGuinness -- leaving Stevens easy pickings for an elimination.

Jack: From there, Alex Shelley tossed Mark Briscoe...Davey Richards eliminated Claudio Castagnoli...and in a HUGE surprise, Jack Evans was able to eliminate the Japanese monster, Takeshi Morishima.

Jim: Nigel scored his second elimination of the night as Jigsaw was running the ropes and was sent flying over the top by the man from England.

Jack: Bryan Danielson hit Davey Richards with a spinebuster bomb and then made short work of him with a toss to the outside. Tyler Black eliminated Ruckus almost nineteen minutes in.

Jim: And right after that, Delirious took care of Nigel McGuinness. One half of the Motor City Machine Guns was eliminated as the Generic Luchador, El Generico sent him over the top.

Jack: Sabin would be met by his partner after Aries hit Alex Shelley with a 450 Splash, leaving him open for an elimination. From there, Aries was not done as he tosses Tyler Black to the floor.

Jim: Black would not be alone for long as Delirious tossed Jimmy Jacobs right after. Delirious took a moment to jaw jack with the Age of the Fall, leaving him WIDE open for a toss by Brent Albright.

Jack: Albright would then be eliminated by El Generico while Bryan Danielson got rid of Austin Aries and Jay Briscoe.

Jim: This left Jack Evans, Bryan Danielson, and the duo of Kevin Steen & El Generico -- all vying for that gold title belt.

Jack: Danielson and Jack Evans going at it right now as Danielson hits a Yakuza kick followed by a snapmare. Now going for a kick to the head but Jack Evans able to duck out of the way.

Jim: Meanwhile on the opposite side, regular tag team partners Kevin Steen and El Generico are duking it out as Generico hits Steen with a DDT and the crowd is going crazy.

Jack: Bryan Danielson over to their side and throws Kevin Steen into the turnbuckle...he rushes in and nails Steen with a Shining Wizard. Picks him back up to his feet and goes for a jumping front kick...but Steen able to duck and roll out of the way.

Jim: WHAT'S THIS?!? Julius Smokes is in the ring with a chair. He swings it at El Generico but Generico able to duck and Smokes clobbers Jack Evans.

Jack: El Generico tosses Smokes from the ring and climbs up to the top turnbuckle...sails off with a moonsault and lands on Jack Evans, who is clearly out cold on the canvas.

Jim: Now he's giving the sign for the Brainbustah...and there it is.

*BANG!*

Jack: But before Generico can even think of tossing out Jack Evans, here comes Bryan Danielson with a lariat. Now a whip into the ropes and Generico bounces back to nail Danielson with a leg lariat.

Jim: And these fans are going crazy for the Generic Luchador as he gives them a rousing "OLE!".

Jack: El Generico going for a tiger suplex but Danielson is able to counter with a backward kick to the groin. Switches around back and goes for a belly-to-back suplex, only El Generico puts the brakes on.

Jim: These two men battling it out while Jack Evans is still unconscious on one side and Steen trying to collect his senses on another.

Jack: Danielson shoves El Generico into the corner and drives him headfirst into the top turnbuckle. He turns and goes to stalk Jack Evans prone body.

Jim: A series of dropped elbows on Jack Evans and now going for a belly to back suplex which he lands to perfection. Staying on top of Evans, he's going for a double underhook suplex...but WAIT, Evans kicks backwards and tumbles over the top rope.

Jack: Danielson has hit the floor but Evans somehow able to grab a hold of the ropes, keeping himself in this match for a bit longer.

Jim: So now it's down to Jack Evans, Kevin Steen, and El Generico who is still feeling the effects of that shot into the corner from Danielson.

Jack: Evans over to where Steen is resting and hits a lightning quick reverse Frankensteiner which gets the crowd on their feet. Evans now with a kick to the head before moving over to El Generico.

Jim: Evans with a belly to back suplex that sends Generico into the center of the ring. Evans waiting in the corner for Generico to get back on his feet.

Jack: And we see why as he drills Generico with a superkick...NO, WAIT! Generico springing back up to his feet as if it didn't even effect him.

Jim: Except he doesnt see Julius Smokes behind him with a steel chair that has made it's home on top of Generico's head - knocking him senseless.

Jack: And here comes Kevin Steen to the rescue with a flying elbow as these fans are chanting his name. Now going for an inverted power bomb but Evans able to block it.

Jim: A bodyslam attempt by Evans is countered into a small package from Steen. But it's worthless as you can't be eliminated via pinfall in this match.

Jack: Both men to their feet and Evans whips Steen into the turnbuckle, following right behind to hit a shoulder into the midsection of Kevin Steen.

Jim: Meanwhile, El Generico is still out cold on the mat, no thanks to that steel chairshot from Julius Smokes.

Jack: Another reverse Frankensteiner from Evans as Steen flies out of the corner. And now Jack Evans is taking a moment to break it down for his fans with some dance moves.

Jim: None of which will help him as El Generico is back on his feet and grabs a hold of Jack Evans....hits a Tiger suplex followed by a whip into the ropes.

Jack: Evans goes for a rana but Generico able to counter with a tiger driver which gets a standing ovation. Generico tosses Evans over the top rope but Jack able to hang on for dear life.

Jim: So what does El Generico do? He drives a knee into his back sending him down to the floor.

Jack: Which leaves us with this tag team duo -- two friends who have the same goal in mind -- to win a title belt here in Hell Fire Wrestling.

Jim: And the crowd knows it as they erupt. El Generico grabs a hold of Kevin Steen and hits an Orange Crush Bomb. The fans know this could be it and are whipped into a frenzy as Generico runs the ropes and hits Steen with a clothesline.

Jack: A DDT from the luchador followed by a standing moonsault. Man this guy is quick.

Jim: Generico pulls Steen up to his feet and sends him over the top rope....AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR!!!!

Jack: EL GENERICO WINS!!! HE IS THE FIRST EVER HELL FIRE WORLD CHAMPION!!!

[El Generico stands in the center of the ring before falling to his knees.]

Jim: He can't believe he just won this match after close to fifty minutes of nonstop action.

Jack: Well he better get used to it because he has just painted a huge target on his back by becoming the champ.

Jim: Very true. Anyways folks, that's it for tonight. We will now leave you with the celebration for El Generico.

Jack: Will there be a pinata?

[fade out]

Wow.. I wouldn't have pegged Generico as the champ. Steen, yes, Generico no.

It's an exciting format you are using, easy to read.

Unless it's on purpose, John Morrison isn't in the Age of the Fall, it's Joey Matthews. Morrison is still in WWE.

How did you go about running TNM on a Mac? I have Parallells and Windows as well, but nothing happens when I try to start TNM. The install file doesn't respond either.
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 06/29/08 at 16:43:30

Thanks for the comments -- was starting to think nobody was reading.

Yea - I was kinda shocked to see Generico come out on top, especially over his partner Kevin Steen.

Oops...my bad - I thought it was Morrison in AOTF. Oh well =)

I just installed Parallels and Windows XP and then ran the installation file in Windows...didnt give me any problems as far as I can tell.
