TCW TV
January 18, 2008
Municipal Auditorium
Nashville, Tennessee

TCW Commissioner William Orta begins the program, coming out to the ring in a finely pressed business suit and a microphone in-hand. He tells the crowd about the success that the TCW is having within the area, and that he couldn't be happier with the fact that the fans of Nashville have allowed his company into their city. This gets a big pop from the Nashville crowd.

Orta then says that he's watched week after week as Adam Flash has carried the State Title two weeks ago. But, he says that the TCW has two champions that have yet to be crowned. He announces that at Origin on January 26th, there will be a Fatal Four Way Ladder Match for the vacant TCW Heavyweight Championship. Orta says that the participants will be announced next week.

He continues to announce that, here tonight, there will be two matches to determine the two teams that will battle each other in a two-out-of-three falls match at Origin for the vacant TCW Tag Team Titles. He finishes by wishing the crowd a good evening, and saying he hopes they enjoy the program.

Al Snow vs. Aaron Stevens

Al Snow attacked Stevens before the match, connecting with an enzuigiri as he was turning around from speaking with Beth Phoenix. Snow then quickly lifted Stevens up with a suplex before picking him up, whipping Stevens into the turnbuckle, and connecting with a vicious clothesline in the corner. Snow, then ran into the ropes, but Beth Phoenix pulled down the ropes, allowing Stevens time to catch his breath. Referee Earl Hebner warned Stevens with disqualification before beginning to count Snow out. Hebner only got to two before Snow re-entered the ring. Snow gets back to his feet as Stevens still tries to get himself together, and attempts a headlock takedown, but Stevens just pushes Snow away. Stvens quickly stands up and connects with a headbutt, dazing Snow. Stevens then whips Snow into the ropes and hits him with a back elbow. Steven, then runs himself into the ropes and knocks Snow down with a clothesline. With Snow on the ground, Stevens executes a knee drop to the forehead. Stevns begins to mock the crowd, causing them to begin booing.

Snow gets back to his feet, but Stevens is there to execute a fist to the midsection, buckling Snow over. Stevens then puts Snow in a front facelock. Snow tries to escape for 19 seconds before Stevens lets go. As Snow gags - gasping for air - Stevens connects with a forearm to the back, sending Snow to the canvas. Stevens drops down and grabs Snow by the throat, choking him as Earl Hebner counts to four. Steven quickly gets up and gets into Hebner's face before turning around and choking Snow one more time, against to a four-count. Stevens once again gets into Hebner's face as Snow slowly gets to his feet. Stevens turns around and knocks Snow back to the canvas with another forearm to the back. Steven picks up Snow and DDT's him head-first onto the mat. Without missing a beat, Stevens then lifts Snow up with a vertical suplex, crashing down onto the canvas. With Snow laying on the ground, Stevens gets up and kicks him in the head - adding insult to injury. He pins Snow, but only get a two count.

Infuriated, Stevens tries to stomp his boot into Snow, but Snow rolls out of the way. Snow quickly gets to his feet and whips Stevens into the ropes, but Stevens reverses it. Stevens takes Snow down with a shoulder block and quickly locks him into a boot choke. Earl Hebner counts to three before Stevens lets go - getting more boos from the crowd. Stevens picks Snow up and whips him into the ropes. Beth Phoenix pulls down the top rope, causing Snow to come crashing down to the concrete outside the ring! Hebner threatens Stevens with disqualification for the second time, but Steven shrugs it off and slides out of the ring. As Snow gets to his feet, Phoenix grabs him by the arms, but Snow pushes her away from him. When Snow turns around, Stevens hits him with another headbutt. Earl Hebner counted one as Stevens rolled himself back into the ring. Stevens watched as Snow rolled back under the bottom rope before choking Snow inches from the ropes. Hebner warns Stevens to let go.

Earl Hebner counts to four before Aaron Stevens turns and gets into his face. Scaring off Hebner, Stevens goes back and continues to choke Snow, getting another four-count. Stevens turns and balls up his fist, acting like is going to hit the referee. Hebner backs off as Stevens goes back to choking Snow. Hebner counts to three before pulling Stevens off and threatening him - AGAIN - with disqualification! By this time, Snow was slowly getting to his feet. Stevens ran into the ropes and clotheslines Snow to the mat and goes for the pin, but only get a two-count. Frustrated, Stevens picks up Snow and tosses him out of the ring.  Stevens leaves the ring as Beth Phoenix tries to grab Snow. However, Snow turns around and connects with a right hand, sending Beth to the concrete. This gives Aaron Stevens the opportunity to grab Snow and throw him into the guardrail. He then hits Snow with a forearm to the back. Stevens then grabs Snow around the waist and executes a belly-to-back suplex onto the concrete floor! Beth gets to her feet and stands in Snow's way as he slowly stands up. Stevens stands up and mocks the crowd, posing, as Earl Hebner counts one. Steven walks over and rake's Snow's face.

As Hebner counts to two, Stevens punches Snow in the midsection. As Snow buckles to the ground in pain, Stevens re-enters the ring. Earl Hebner continues to count to ten, counting out Al Snow.

Aaron Stevens (w/Beth Phoenix) defeated Al Snow by countout in 5:46.

Z-Barr vs. Tsuyoshi Kikuchi

Kikuchi made his television debut tonight in a match that saw him take an early advantage and hold it for a better part of the match. Z-Barr, though, staged a comeback and did everything he could to keep the match from being a total squash. However, after getting what he thought was a slow count, Z-Barr began to argue with referee Danny Davis. This gave Kikuchi the opening he was looking for to steal the victory.

Tsuyoshi Kikuchi pinned Z-Barr after an inside cradle in 12:10.

T2K (Wolfgang & Darkside) vs. Abdullah the Butcher  & © Adam Flash (w/Pandora)

Darkside was unable to follow-up on his promise tonight, but he did manage to cut open Adam Flash while battling outside the ring. For most of the match, Flash appeared to do whatever he could to not face Darkside in the ring. But, when the time came, it was obvious that the fans can not wait to see them face each other at Origin for the State Title. It was a great prelude to the State Title Match... and for Adam Flash, and guaranteed him a chance to fight for his second TCW Championship.

In Commissioner Orta's office, xOMGx enters and apologizes for not showing up for the tag team match earlier in the show. He says that he was unable to make through the traffic due to an accident that occurred. Orta tells xOMGx that he believes his story, but that he should've been at the arena way before the start of the show, to ensure that didn't happen.

xOMGx pleads his case, saying that he would've been here if he could have. He asks if he still has a place in the Tag Team Title match alongside Aaron Draven. Commissioner Orta says that, in fact, he doesn't because he no-showed the match. Orta says that he will be suspended for one week. However, returning on TV will not suffice, as he was not part of the match, and therefore will not be challenging for the Tag Team Titles.

Ace Steel vs. Zumbido

Zumbido continued his dominance in the TCW with a victory tonight. It looks like he may be a favorite to walk away from Origin as the first-ever TCW Heavyweight Champion.

Flash said that after a pathetic performance like he just had, Darkside is nowhere near a threat to take Flash's title. Flash laughed and threw the microphone down on Darkside's body as he and Pandora left the ring.
