3-31-08 WWF Raw


The show opens with Vince McMahon being shown leaving his office at WWF headquarters.
He says goodbye to numerous employees in the building, and then walks out for the last time.

Opening segment


The show opens with the new Champion, Ric Flair, making his way to the ring.
Flair talks about defeating the Rock last night to win the title.
As Flair talks he is interrupted by Shane McMahon's theme.
Confetti and balloons begin to fall from the ceiling
as the new WWF owner Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring with Kevin Nash.

Shane welcomes everyone to a new WWF era.
He talks about beating his dad last night to gain ownership of the company.
He promises he'll be a fair boss.
In fact, he has an announcement to make later tonight to prove how fair he is.
Flair interrupts Shane telling him it is his moment as Champion.
Shane exchanges some words with Flair and reveals he's got a new rule.
the Heavyweight Champion needs to be ready to defend the title, any time, any place.
Beginning tonight, as he faces Kevin Nash.
Shane promises Ric, that he is going to break him.

After making that announcement, The Rock comes to the ring.
Rock gets in Shane's face saying he should get a rematch with Flair.
As Rock is talking, Shawn Michaels comes out.

Michaels isn't sure why Nash is getting a title shot, since he lost at Wrestlemania.
and since Shawn is the one that beat Nash, if Nash is a title contender,
than Shawn should be ahead of him.

Rock, Michaels, and Nash begin to argue with each other.
As they do, the lights go out.
The Undertaker is shown making his way to the ring.
Once in the ring, Undertaker argues his own case for deserving a title shot.

Shane decides the fair thing to do is to let Nash have a title shot tonight.
And for Shawn Michaels, The Rock, & The Undertaker to face each other in a triple threat on Smackdown.
The winner will face Ric Flair next Monday night on Raw.

Shane & Nash leave the ring.
Rock, Michaels, Undertaker, and Flair stand around looking each other over.

Rhythm And Blues (Jeff Jarrett and Jesse James) when R. Steiner made James
submit to the Armlock Submission in 0:10:43.

Before the main event, Shane McMahon makes a couple announcements.
First, he'll be stopping by the MWF this weekend to make some changes to the promotion.
The bigger announcement comes next.
Shane reveals he's doing some housecleaning.
Beginning next Monday on Raw, for the next 2 weeks, there will be 25 matches.
These matches are very important, because the winner gets to keep his job.
The losers will wrestle their next match at the unemployment office.

During the main event, when Nash was in control of the match,
The Rock ran in and attacked Flair.
Nash stormed off and followed the Rock to the backstage area.

4-4-08 WWF Smackdown


Opening segment


Wrestlemania 2 highlights air.

William Regal and his new stable, the Blue Bloods, are in the ring.

Regal announces that when he lost the European Championship last year to Rick Rude, he had no shame.
He respected Rick Rude as champion.
But now, Arn Anderson is champion.
Regal talks about how disgusted he is that such a filthy, piece of trash American could hold this title.
Regal vows he or one of his fellow Blue Bloods will regain the title and remove the tarnish it currently has.

Arn Anderson and Rick Martel make their way to the ring.
Anderson takes the microphone and delivers a very pro-USA rebuttal to Regal's remarks.

As soon as he finishes, Regal leaves the ring as our first match is about to start.

The Blue Bloods (Bobby Eaton and Dave Taylor) defeated
The Four Horsemen (Arn Anderson and Rick Martel) when Eaton pinned Anderson
with the Alabama Jam in 0:11:14.

Sting crosses paths with Steve Austin.
Sting looks closely at the Intercontinental Championship
and exchanges words with Austin about that being Sting's title.

After Austin walks away, Lex Luger approaches Sting.
Luger laughs at Sting's claim that the Intercontinental belt should be around his waist.
He points out Sting couldn't beat him to win the title back.
Sting attacks Luger until a group of officials break them up.

Shane McMahon's announcement from Raw about the upcoming roster trimming is shown.
Backstage, tension runs high as the wrestlers respond to Shane's news.

Sting pinned Lex Luger with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:09:44.

The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) defeated Demolition (Ax and Smash) when Hawk
pinned Ax after a gutwrench suplex in 0:12:16.

The Undertaker defeated The Rock and Shawn Michaels when The Undertaker defeated
S. Michaels by disqualification in 0:19:14.

After the Sting/Luger match, Shane McMahon walks out.
Shane apologizes to Lex Luger.
Shane forgot to mention, this match was for a spot on the roster.
Sorry Lex, your cut.
Luger is stunned by the news.
Sting walks away with Shane laughing.

During the main event, Kevin Nash came to ringside.
As the commentators speculated who he would go after, Michaels or Rock,
It really should have come as no surprise that Nash would get in the ring and attack The Undertaker.
causing both Rock & Michaels to lose due the DQ finish.

4-7-08 WWF Raw


Opening segment


Shane McMahon is in the ring and announces tonight, with the exception of the tag team match and our main event,
each match will have the participants job on the line.
If they lose, their cut from the roster.

Ric Flair comes to the ring.
Flair says as WWF Heavyweight Champion, he feels his opinion is meaningful.
He tells Shane he doesn't like what he's doing.
Shane tells him he's just trying to build his own legacy with the WWF.
Flair replies that he thinks Shane's legacy will be running the company into the ground.
As Flair leaves the ring, Shane appears upset to be spoken to like that.

Barry Windham pinned Honky Tonk Man after a back suplex in 0:09:32.

Bobby Eaton pinned Tatanka after a belly-to-back suplex in 0:08:06.

Backstage, an already upset Shane McMahon is approached By Hulk Hogan.
Hogan has even harsher comments for Shane and his roster trimming.
You can tell by the look on his face, Shane is taking it very personally.

Bruno Sammartino has a meeting with Shane.
Shane informs Bruno, he's not going to fire him.
Instead, he's being sent to the MWF to act as Commissioner.

The Blue Blood accompany Eaton to the ring for his match against Tatanka.
Regal gives a speech before hand.
He remarks to Tatanka he respects him and his people.
He respects the values Native Americans have.
He then upsets Tatanka by stating sadly, tonight Eaton will be like numerous people before him.
Only, instead of his land, he's stealing Tatanka's career.

The following wrestlers were cut: Honky Tonk Man, Tatanka, Stacy Keibler, and Jeff Jarrett.

Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray and Booker T) defeated Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn when
T pinned Severn after a Soviet suplex in 0:11:49.
Ken Shamrock suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 2 months.

Hulk Hogan pinned Randy Savage with the Big Leg Drop in 0:12:25.

Ric Flair pinned The Undertaker after a back elbow in 0:17:58.

Smackdown highlights are shown.

Backstage, Mean Gene Okerlund conducts an interview with The Undertaker on facing Ric Flair.
He mentions having a shot to regain the Heavyweight title,
when Shane McMahon and Kevin Nash are walking by.
Nash interrupts and declares himself the #1 Contender.
Shane McMahon confirms this claim and points out he never said the winner of the triple threat on Smackdown
was getting a title shot.
He simply stated the winner would get to face Ric Flair.

Backstage, Shane watches the Hogan/Savage match.
He is obviously not happy with the outcome.
After the Hogan/Savage match, Shane comes out on stage.
He tells Hogan his job is safe for now, but this Monday on Raw he's having another match to fight for his job.

Randy Savage was the only wrestler cut during the 2nd hour.

Opening segment


Shane McMahon again opens the show discussing how the losers of tonight's matches will be fired.
He feels in spite of the criticism, he's being a fair boss
by giving people a chance to save their jobs instead of being fired.
Andre the Giant makes his way to the ring to add his name to the list of those upset with how Shane is running things.
Shane appears to be dealing with the criticism a little better this time around.
He informs Andre though that he is going to have a match up next against his friend the Big Boss Man.

Big Boss Man defeated Andre the Giant by countout in 0:05:27.

Dynamite Kid pinned Harry Smith after a kneedrop in 0:09:25.

When he was ready to go for the pin, he took a good look at his friend and then walked away leading to the countout loss.

Backstage, The Road Warriors talk about their dislike of Demolition.
Shane tells them if Demolition loses against the Road Warriors, he will fire Ax & Smash.

Before his match, Jesse James is visited by Honky Tonk Man & Jeff Jarrett.
They wish him luck and hope he wins so he will be able to rebuild the Rhythm & Blues stable.

In the locker room, Davey Boy Smith voices his anger with Shane for cutting Harry from the roster.
Shane informs Davey Boy, he will also have to fight for his job on Raw Monday night.
Davey Boy asks Shane to give him Dynamite Kid then in that match, Shane agrees.

Before his match, Shane McMahon sarcastically wishes Hogan well.
Later, when Hogan manages to win, Shane is stunned.
Again Shane comes out on stage and tells Hogan his job still isn't safe.
Next Monday on Raw, Hulk Hogan will again fight his career against Vader.

Mean Gene Okerlund interviews The Rock before the main event.
He is upset over Kevin Nash being named the #1 Contender.
Rock promises to prove tonight why he should be facing Flair again for the title.

After the main event, The Rock brags about using a dirty move to beat the dirtiest player in the game.

Big John Studd was the only wrestler cut in the 2nd hour.

Piper and Hogan discuss Shane's recent tactics used to trim the roster.
Piper voices his negative opinion about the way Shane has taken over.

Shane McMahon comes to the ring.

Shane confronts both men on their negative opinions.
He tells Hogan tonight he will lose his spot on the roster.
Hogan's opponent will be Vader.
Shane tells Piper his job was actually safe until he started to mouth off.
Piper will have a match tonight against Rick Rude, and if he loses Piper is fired.

The members of DX talk before the main event, discussing their predicament.
They all deceid it will be every man for himself in the main event.

After the main event, the remaining members of DX come out.
They attempt to give Michaels a proper send off.

They are interrupted by Shane McMahon and Kevin Nash, who come out to mock him.

Shane McMahon is in the ring with Kevin Nash.
Shane talks about how satisfied he is with the changes to the roster.
With the exception of Hulk Hogan, who he vows to end his career on Smackdown.
Shane turns his attention to the main event.
He talks about the good chance for Kevin Nash to win the Championship.
Nash then takes his turn talking about the match tonight with Flair.

He is interrupted by The Rock.
The Rock and Bobby Heenan come to the ring.
Rock talks about pinning Flair a couple weeks ago in a tag team match.
He talks about being the previous Champion and talks about how he should be the #1 Contender.

Shane McMahon & Kevin Nash huddle together.
Shane announces in the interest of fairness, he'll give The Rock one chance.
Next Monday on Raw, he can face the winner of tonight's match for the Heavyweight Title.
However, if he fails to win it, he won't get another title shot in 2008.
Shane tells him those are the terms, take it or leave it.

The Rock thinks for a second, and agrees to take it.

After the main event, once Flair released the hold on Nash, he was blindsided in the ring by The Rock.
Rock lays out Flair by giving him the rock bottom.

Shane informs Shawn he hasn't been released for good just yet.
He can have his spot back on the WWF roster.
Once he's gone to the MWF and defeated every single wrestler on the roster.
Shane tells him he can start Sunday night at the MWF Backlash PPV against Gregory Helms.

The Heenan Family stand in the ring.
The Rock discusses facing Ric Flair tonight.
He talks about McMahon's condition that if he loses he won't get another title shot this year.
Rock says he won't need another title shot, because he's going to win the title tonight.

The Four Horsemen come to the ring.
Flair talks about them being the hottest stable in wrestling, due to each member holding a title belt.
He compares the Horsemen accomplishments against the lack of accomplishments of the Heenan Family.
As the stables begin to exchange words, Shane McMahon comes out.

Shane begins by gloating over his ending Hulkamania last Friday.
As he brags about what he did, Flair interrupts wanting to know what he's really there for.
Shane announces on May 18th at Judgement Day, whomever holds the WWF Heavyweight Championship will defend it against Kevin Nash.

Steve Austin is in the ring with a keg.

A WWF stagehand is pouring cups of beer for Steve and putting them down on a table.
Steve picks up two cups and goes to one corner, climbing the ringpost.
He salutes the fans then chugs the two beers.
He proceeds to do this in each corner of the ring.
When he finishes, Sting has come out.
Sting talks about the embarassing display he's looking at.
He talks about their rematch at Judgement Day.
Austin starts to exchange words with Sting.
Austin tells him to have a beer and throws one in Sting's face, then gives him the finger.
Sting stands there pissed off and not moving a muscle.
When Austin's back is turned, Sting picks up the keg and slams it against Austin's head.
Austin collapses.
Sting puts the keg down and stands over Austin staring down at him.
Sting spits in Austin's face and walks out of the ring.
On his way to the back he passes a group of officials and EMT's running down with a stretcher.
As they begin to work on Austin, the show goes to commercial.

When the show returns from commercial, Steve Austin is shown being put on a stretcher.
Jim Ross swears what everyone is seeing is not pretend.
He apologizes and informs us that due to the time spent with the Austin incident,
the Road Warriors/Demolition match has been postponed until Smackdown.
The EMT's take Austin on the stretcher to the backstage area.
They load him into an ambulance and rush off.
Sting is shown standing there watching them take off and is smiling.
He is confronted by Ric Flair, who calls what he did cheap.

In the main event, Flair had the Rock in the figure four leglock as time expired.
After the match, The Rock gave Flair the Rock Bottom, and then stormed off as the show went off the air.

Kevin Nash discusses the upset win Kenta Kobashi scored on him last week.
To prove what a fluke it was, their meeting again tonight.
Nash calls it a warm up as he prepares to face Ric Flair at Judgement Day.

Flair comes out to the ring.
He reminds Nash he's beaten him before and says he'll have no problem beating him again.

Sting comes out to the ring.
Sting gets in Flair's face about the comments he made to him after his attack on Austin last week.
Flair tells Sting he stands by his remarks and goes on to call Sting a chicken s***.

Flair and Sting start exchanging blows. Once Flair gets the upper hand, he is attacked by Nash.
Sting and Nash briefly double team Flair, until Steve Austin runs in to make the save.
He gives stunners to both Sting and Nash.
Flair and Austin then throw Sting & Nash out of the ring.

In the main event, Triple H came out with his sledgehammer.
During the match, when the referee was distracted, Triple H hit Sid with the sledgehammer.
Sid then walked right into the Tombstone Piledriver.

Bobby Heenan asks for The Rock to come to the ring.
The Rock obliges.
Once he gets there Heenan calls The Rock the real champion.
He calls him the People's Champion.
Heenan asks for a spotlight.
The lights are lowered and the spotlight shines on the pedestal.
Heenan pulls off the cloth to reveal a Championship belt.
It looks like the WWF Heavyweight Championship, except it reads People's Championship.

Heenan presents the Rock with the People's Championship belt and puts it around Rock's waist.
