He says goodbye to numerous employees in the building, and then walks out for the last time. Raw opening credits The show opens with the new Champion, Ric Flair, making his way to the ring. Flair talks about defeating the Rock last night to win the title. As Flair talks he is interrupted by Shane McMahon's theme. Confetti and balloons begin to fall from the ceiling as the new WWF owner Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring with Kevin Nash. Shane welcomes everyone to a new WWF era. He talks about beating his dad last night to gain ownership of the company. He promises he'll be a fair boss. In fact, he has an announcement to make later tonight to prove how fair he is. Flair interrupts Shane telling him it is his moment as Champion. Shane exchanges some words with Flair and reveals he's got a new rule. the Heavyweight Champion needs to be ready to defend the title, any time, any place. Beginning tonight, as he faces Kevin Nash. Shane promises Ric, that he is going to break him. After making that announcement, The Rock comes to the ring. Rock gets in Shane's face saying he should get a rematch with Flair. As Rock is talking, Shawn Michaels comes out. Michaels isn't sure why Nash is getting a title shot, since he lost at Wrestlemania. and since Shawn is the one that beat Nash, if Nash is a title contender, than Shawn should be ahead of him. Rock, Michaels, and Nash begin to argue with each other. As they do, the lights go out. The Undertaker is shown making his way to the ring. Once in the ring, Undertaker argues his own case for deserving a title shot. Shane decides the fair thing to do is to let Nash have a title shot tonight. And for Shawn Michaels, The Rock, & The Undertaker to face each other in a triple threat on Smackdown. The winner will face Ric Flair next Monday night on Raw. Shane & Nash leave the ring. Rock, Michaels, Undertaker, and Flair stand around looking each other over. The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) defeated Rhythm And Blues (Jeff Jarrett and Jesse James) when R. Steiner made James submit to the Armlock Submission in 0:10:43. Rating: **** Tito Santana pinned Randy Orton after a backbreaker in 0:10:16. Rating: *** 3/4 Trish Stratus defeated Candice Michelle via pinfall in 0:05:43. Rating: * 1/2 Rob Van Dam pinned Jerry Lynn with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:10:32. Rating: **** 1/4 Wrestlemania 2 highlights are shown. Shane McMahon is in his office with Bruno Sammartino. Bruno asks if he still has a job. Shane tells Bruno to take a week off and report back next Monday for his answer. Shane is shown looking over contracts in his office. Ross & Lawler speculate what he is doing it for. Owen Hart pinned Brian Pillman after a double underhook superplex in 0:11:07. Rating: **** 1/4 Rick Rude and Sid defeated DeGeneration X (Chris Jericho and Triple H) when Rude pinned Jericho with the Rude Awakening in 0:14:38. Rating: **** 1/4 Ric Flair defeated Kevin Nash by disqualification in 0:16:09. Rating: * 3/4 (Ric Flair retained the Heavyweight Championship.) [The Rock interfered against Ric Flair.] Money In The Bank winner Brian Pillman is interviewed by Mean Gene Okerlund. When asked when he'll cash in, Pillman responds what if I headline Wrestlemania 3? Before the main event, Shane McMahon makes a couple announcements. First, he'll be stopping by the MWF this weekend to make some changes to the promotion. The bigger announcement comes next. Shane reveals he's doing some housecleaning. Beginning next Monday on Raw, for the next 2 weeks, there will be 25 matches. These matches are very important, because the winner gets to keep his job. The losers will wrestle their next match at the unemployment office. During the main event, when Nash was in control of the match, The Rock ran in and attacked Flair. Nash stormed off and followed the Rock to the backstage area. Card rating: *** 1/4 |

Regal announces that when he lost the European Championship last year to Rick Rude, he had no shame. He respected Rick Rude as champion. But now, Arn Anderson is champion. Regal talks about how disgusted he is that such a filthy, piece of trash American could hold this title. Regal vows he or one of his fellow Blue Bloods will regain the title and remove the tarnish it currently has. Arn Anderson and Rick Martel make their way to the ring. Anderson takes the microphone and delivers a very pro-USA rebuttal to Regal's remarks. As soon as he finishes, Regal leaves the ring as our first match is about to start. The Blue Bloods (Bobby Eaton and Dave Taylor) defeated The Four Horsemen (Arn Anderson and Rick Martel) when Eaton pinned Anderson with the Alabama Jam in 0:11:14. Rating: *** 3/4 Andre the Giant defeated The Berzerker via pinfall in 0:07:08. Rating: -* 3/4 Ultimo Dragon pinned Mistico with the Inverted DDT in 0:10:28. Rating: **** 1/4 Steve Austin pinned Tatanka with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:10:19. Rating: ** 3/4 Sting crosses paths with Steve Austin. Sting looks closely at the Intercontinental Championship and exchanges words with Austin about that being Sting's title. After Austin walks away, Lex Luger approaches Sting. Luger laughs at Sting's claim that the Intercontinental belt should be around his waist. He points out Sting couldn't beat him to win the title back. Sting attacks Luger until a group of officials break them up. Shane McMahon's announcement from Raw about the upcoming roster trimming is shown. Backstage, tension runs high as the wrestlers respond to Shane's news. Sting pinned Lex Luger with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:09:44. Rating: ** The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) defeated Demolition (Ax and Smash) when Hawk pinned Ax after a gutwrench suplex in 0:12:16. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Road Warriors retained the Tag Team Championship.) Triangle Match: The Undertaker defeated The Rock and Shawn Michaels when The Undertaker defeated S. Michaels by disqualification in 0:19:14. Rating: **** [Kevin Nash interfered against The Undertaker.] After the Sting/Luger match, Shane McMahon walks out. Shane apologizes to Lex Luger. Shane forgot to mention, this match was for a spot on the roster. Sorry Lex, your cut. Luger is stunned by the news. Sting walks away with Shane laughing. During the main event, Kevin Nash came to ringside. As the commentators speculated who he would go after, Michaels or Rock, It really should have come as no surprise that Nash would get in the ring and attack The Undertaker. causing both Rock & Michaels to lose due the DQ finish. |

If they lose, their cut from the roster. Ric Flair comes to the ring. Flair says as WWF Heavyweight Champion, he feels his opinion is meaningful. He tells Shane he doesn't like what he's doing. Shane tells him he's just trying to build his own legacy with the WWF. Flair replies that he thinks Shane's legacy will be running the company into the ground. As Flair leaves the ring, Shane appears upset to be spoken to like that. Barry Windham pinned Honky Tonk Man after a back suplex in 0:09:32. Rating: *** Bobby Eaton pinned Tatanka after a belly-to-back suplex in 0:08:06. Rating: * 1/4 Candice Michelle pinned Stacy Keibler with the Go Daddy Elbow in 0:06:22. Rating: -*** 1/2 Triple H pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Pedigree in 0:11:08. Rating: **** Backstage, an already upset Shane McMahon is approached By Hulk Hogan. Hogan has even harsher comments for Shane and his roster trimming. You can tell by the look on his face, Shane is taking it very personally. Bruno Sammartino has a meeting with Shane. Shane informs Bruno, he's not going to fire him. Instead, he's being sent to the MWF to act as Commissioner. The Blue Blood accompany Eaton to the ring for his match against Tatanka. Regal gives a speech before hand. He remarks to Tatanka he respects him and his people. He respects the values Native Americans have. He then upsets Tatanka by stating sadly, tonight Eaton will be like numerous people before him. Only, instead of his land, he's stealing Tatanka's career. The following wrestlers were cut: Honky Tonk Man, Tatanka, Stacy Keibler, and Jeff Jarrett. Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray and Booker T) defeated Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn when T pinned Severn after a Soviet suplex in 0:11:49. Ken Shamrock suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 2 months. Rating: ** 3/4 Hulk Hogan pinned Randy Savage with the Big Leg Drop in 0:12:25. Rating: * 1/2 Ric Flair pinned The Undertaker after a back elbow in 0:17:58. Rating: ***** Smackdown highlights are shown. Backstage, Mean Gene Okerlund conducts an interview with The Undertaker on facing Ric Flair. He mentions having a shot to regain the Heavyweight title, when Shane McMahon and Kevin Nash are walking by. Nash interrupts and declares himself the #1 Contender. Shane McMahon confirms this claim and points out he never said the winner of the triple threat on Smackdown was getting a title shot. He simply stated the winner would get to face Ric Flair. Backstage, Shane watches the Hogan/Savage match. He is obviously not happy with the outcome. After the Hogan/Savage match, Shane comes out on stage. He tells Hogan his job is safe for now, but this Monday on Raw he's having another match to fight for his job. Randy Savage was the only wrestler cut during the 2nd hour. Card rating: ** 1/2 |

He feels in spite of the criticism, he's being a fair boss by giving people a chance to save their jobs instead of being fired. Andre the Giant makes his way to the ring to add his name to the list of those upset with how Shane is running things. Shane appears to be dealing with the criticism a little better this time around. He informs Andre though that he is going to have a match up next against his friend the Big Boss Man. Big Boss Man defeated Andre the Giant by countout in 0:05:27. Rating: DUD Dynamite Kid pinned Harry Smith after a kneedrop in 0:09:25. Rating: **** Dean Malenko pinned Haku after a waistlock suplex in 0:08:18. Rating: *** 1/4 Scott Hall pinned Jesse James with the Outsider Edge in 0:09:48. Rating: **** Andre the Giant had no problem dominating his match. When he was ready to go for the pin, he took a good look at his friend and then walked away leading to the countout loss. Backstage, The Road Warriors talk about their dislike of Demolition. Shane tells them if Demolition loses against the Road Warriors, he will fire Ax & Smash. Before his match, Jesse James is visited by Honky Tonk Man & Jeff Jarrett. They wish him luck and hope he wins so he will be able to rebuild the Rhythm & Blues stable. The following wrestlers were cut: Andre the Giant, Harry Smith, Haku, and Jesse James. Demolition (Ax and Smash) defeated The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) when Smash pinned Hawk after a kneelift in 0:12:35. Rating: * 3/4 Hulk Hogan pinned Big John Studd after an elbowdrop in 0:10:06. Rating: -** The Heenan Family (The Rock and Randy Orton) defeated The Four Horsemen (Owen Hart and Ric Flair) when The Rock pinned R. Flair after a low blow in 0:16:52. Rating: **** 1/4 Raw highlights are shown In the locker room, Davey Boy Smith voices his anger with Shane for cutting Harry from the roster. Shane informs Davey Boy, he will also have to fight for his job on Raw Monday night. Davey Boy asks Shane to give him Dynamite Kid then in that match, Shane agrees. Before his match, Shane McMahon sarcastically wishes Hogan well. Later, when Hogan manages to win, Shane is stunned. Again Shane comes out on stage and tells Hogan his job still isn't safe. Next Monday on Raw, Hulk Hogan will again fight his career against Vader. Mean Gene Okerlund interviews The Rock before the main event. He is upset over Kevin Nash being named the #1 Contender. Rock promises to prove tonight why he should be facing Flair again for the title. After the main event, The Rock brags about using a dirty move to beat the dirtiest player in the game. Big John Studd was the only wrestler cut in the 2nd hour. Card rating: ** |

Piper voices his negative opinion about the way Shane has taken over. Shane McMahon comes to the ring. Shane confronts both men on their negative opinions. He tells Hogan tonight he will lose his spot on the roster. Hogan's opponent will be Vader. Shane tells Piper his job was actually safe until he started to mouth off. Piper will have a match tonight against Rick Rude, and if he loses Piper is fired. Kenta Kobashi pinned Mr. Hughes after a running clothesline in 0:08:59. Rating: *** Rick Martel pinned Pat Patterson after an elbowdrop in 0:10:55. Rating: *** 3/4 Victoria pinned Trish Stratus with the Widow's Peak in 0:08:06. Rating: *** (Victoria retained the Women's Heavyweight.) Rob Van Dam pinned Jerry Lynn with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:11:27. Rating: **** 1/4 Dan Severn gives Kobashi some encouraging words before his match. Kurt Angle is shown doing the same for Mr. Hughes. Later, after the match, Angle is upset with Hughes for losing. Backstage, an angry Vader confronts Shane for risking his job. Shane guarantees Vader he can't lose. Shane announces Friday night on Smackdown will be the last night for cuts. Next week, things will be back to normal. He also reveals each WWF title will be defended next week. The following wrestlers were cut in Hour 1: Mr. Hughes, Pat Patterson, and Jerry Lynn. Rick Rude pinned Roddy Piper with the Rude Awakening in 0:12:51. Rating: **** Dynamite Kid pinned Davey Boy Smith after a gutwrench suplex in 0:12:56. Dynamite talks about getting Harry fired and how he'll do the same to Davey. Shane is stunned that his Hogan was able to beat Vader. It's a rare occasion where Shane is left speechless. Shane McMahon comes out. Shane reminds them tonight is the last night for cuts. Shane says to show them the respect they've shown him, tonight's main event will be Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho and the loser is fired. Tito Santana pinned Bad News Brown after a backbreaker in 0:07:08. Rating: 1/2* William Regal pinned Big Boss Man after a somersault slam in 0:08:13. Rating: *** 3/4 Michelle McCool pinned Torrie Wilson after a leg lariat in 0:05:51. Rating: 1/4* Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis battled to a double countout in 0:16:50. Rating: **** 1/4 Backstage, Randy Orton and Bobby Heenan talk with Shane McMahon. Orton sings Shane's prasises. Orton asks to face Masters in one of Shane's loser is fired matches. Shane agrees. Before their match, William Regal talks about how disgusting his opponent tonight is. When discussing Boss Man being from the South, Regal goes into a rant putting down what he calls Rednecks. Big Boss Man comes out to defend the people back home. Shane announces due to the double count out, both Guerrera and Psicosis are cut. The following wrestlers were cut: Bad News Brown, Big Boss Man, Juventud Guerrera, and Psicosis. Randy Orton pinned Chris Masters with the RKO in 0:10:49. Rating: **** Kevin Nash and Sid Justice defeated Demolition (Ax and Smash) when Nash pinned Smash after a kick to the head in 0:12:48. Rating: * 3/4 Chris Jericho pinned Shawn Michaels after a flying forearm in 0:18:26. Rating: ***** Raw highlights air. Shane sees Hulk Hogan backstage. Hogan is gloating about Shane's failed attempts to get rid of him. Shane says if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. He tells Hogan next Friday night, Shane will be the one to end his career. Demolition approach Shane about getting to face the Road Warriors for a title shot. Shane tells them they can have it, if they beat a team of his choosing tonight. Shane reveals Monday on Raw, Ric Flair will defend the Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash. The members of DX talk before the main event, discussing their predicament. They all deceid it will be every man for himself in the main event. After the main event, the remaining members of DX come out. They attempt to give Michaels a proper send off. They are interrupted by Shane McMahon and Kevin Nash, who come out to mock him. With the exception of Hulk Hogan, who he vows to end his career on Smackdown. Shane turns his attention to the main event. He talks about the good chance for Kevin Nash to win the Championship. Nash then takes his turn talking about the match tonight with Flair. He is interrupted by The Rock. The Rock and Bobby Heenan come to the ring. Rock talks about pinning Flair a couple weeks ago in a tag team match. He talks about being the previous Champion and talks about how he should be the #1 Contender. Shane McMahon & Kevin Nash huddle together. Shane announces in the interest of fairness, he'll give The Rock one chance. Next Monday on Raw, he can face the winner of tonight's match for the Heavyweight Title. However, if he fails to win it, he won't get another title shot in 2008. Shane tells him those are the terms, take it or leave it. The Rock thinks for a second, and agrees to take it. Brian Pillman pinned Barry Windham after spinning headscissors in 0:08:59. Rating: *** 1/4 Michelle McCool pinned Candice Michelle with the Bodyslam in 0:06:41. Rating: -*** Rick Rude pinned Tito Santana after a back suplex in 0:10:33. Rating: ** 1/2 The Undertaker pinned The Big Show after a back elbow in 0:09:28. Rating: ** 1/2 Backstage, Triple H approaches Shane McMahon. He's upset over the way things went down with Shawn Michaels being released. Shane tells him his personal feelings aside, Shawn was always a hell of a performer. Shane tells Triple H to let Shawn know to show up for Smackdown, he has an offer for him. Ric Flair and The Rock cross paths backstage. Flair tells Rock that was a gutsy move accepting Shane's terms. The Rock says it doesn't matter what the terms are, Rock says he'll have his belt back next week. Rob Van Dam pinned X Pac with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:13:31. Rating: **** 1/4 (Rob Van Dam won the Cruiserweight Championship.) Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray and Booker T) defeated The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) when S. Ray pinned S. Steiner with the Slapjack in 0:14:12. Rating: *** Ric Flair defeated Kevin Nash when Kevin Nash passed out in the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:15:47. Rating: ** (Ric Flair retained the Heavyweight Championship.) Smackdown highlights air. After their win over the Steiners, Harlem Heat and Bobby Heenan start to lobby Shane for a title shot. During the main event, The Rock came out and joined Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler for commentary. After the main event, once Flair released the hold on Nash, he was blindsided in the ring by The Rock. He can have his spot back on the WWF roster. Once he's gone to the MWF and defeated every single wrestler on the roster. Shane tells him he can start Sunday night at the MWF Backlash PPV against Gregory Helms. Sid Justice pinned Scott Hall with the Power Bomb in 0:08:10. Rating: 3/4* Arn Anderson pinned Bobby Eaton after a headlock takedown in 0:09:22. Rating: ** 1/2 (Arn Anderson retained the European Championship.) Dean Malenko made Dynamite Kid submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:10:17. Rating: **** 1/4 [Tsuyoshi Kikuchi interfered against Dean Malenko.] Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle battled to a double countout in 0:11:39. Rating: *** 3/4 Before the Anderson/eaton match, William Regal continues his verabl assaults on America. After the match, Regal was upset with the outcome. After the Malenko/Dynamite Kid match, Malenko was attacked by Kikuchi. Dynamite Kid introduced him as his new protege. Hulk Hogan is shown arriving. Mean Gene Okerlund interviews him on his recent matches, having to fight for his job. Hogan pledges to destroy Shane in their match tonight and doesn't plan on leaving the WWF any time soon. Steve Austin pinned Sting with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:11:03. Rating: ** 3/4 (Steve Austin retained the Intercontinental Championship.) Hart/Martel (Owen Hart and Rick Martel) defeated The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) when O. Hart pinned Animal after a Russian legsweep in 0:14:52. Rating: *** 3/4 (Hart/Martel won the Tag Team Championship.) [Ax interfered against Hawk.] [Smash interfered against Hawk.] Shane McMahon pinned Hulk Hogan after an elbowdrop in 0:12:35. Rating: ** 1/4 Raw highlights air. Mean Gene Okerlund tries to get a word with Shawn Michaels before he leaves. Shawn won't say anything on his way out. After Steve Austin's win against Sting, Austin talks about not getting a chance to properly celebrate his Intercontinental Championship. He announces he's having a kegger Monday night on Raw. During the Tag Team Championship match, Demolition's interference helped Hart & Martel win. Afterwards, Demolition and the Road Warriors fought to the backstage area. After pinning Hogan, The Injustice League come out to the ring to celebrate with Shane. Card rating: *** |

He talks about McMahon's condition that if he loses he won't get another title shot this year. Rock says he won't need another title shot, because he's going to win the title tonight. The Four Horsemen come to the ring. Flair talks about them being the hottest stable in wrestling, due to each member holding a title belt. He compares the Horsemen accomplishments against the lack of accomplishments of the Heenan Family. As the stables begin to exchange words, Shane McMahon comes out. Shane begins by gloating over his ending Hulkamania last Friday. As he brags about what he did, Flair interrupts wanting to know what he's really there for. Shane announces on May 18th at Judgement Day, whomever holds the WWF Heavyweight Championship will defend it against Kevin Nash. Rick Steiner pinned Booker T after an elbowdrop in 0:08:07. Booker T injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 3 weeks. Rating: *** 3/4 Lita pinned Trish Stratus after a rana in 0:06:12. Rating: *** 1/2 Tsuyoshi Kikuchi pinned Jushin Liger with the Fireball Bomb in 0:10:09. Rating: **** 1/4 Dave Taylor pinned Dan Severn after a fisherman suplex in 0:10:57. Rating: *** 1/2 [William Regal interfered against Dan Severn.] It's announced due to the double count out last Friday on Smackdown, Jericho & Angle will have a rematch tonight. The Road Warriors attack Demolition backstage. Hawk & Animal are upset that Demolition cost them the Tag Team Titles. After the attack, The Road Warriors demand a match tonight with Demolition. During the Kikuchi/Liger match, Dean Malenko is shown watching it on a monitor in the back. In the locker room, Regal tells Taylor & Eaton he won't tolerate any more losses. Together they vow to make sure they don't lose to any inferior American opponents again. Later, Regal held true to his word by helping Taylor defeat Severn. Chris Jericho defeated Kurt Angle when Kurt Angle passed out in the Walls Of Jericho in 0:13:48. Rating: **** 1/4 Ric Flair and The Rock battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: **** 1/4 (Ric Flair retained the Heavyweight Championship.) Smackdown highlights air. Steve Austin is in the ring with a keg. He talks about winning the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania and his successful defense against Sting last Friday night. He says it's time to celebrate the way he knows best, drinking some beer. A WWF stagehand is pouring cups of beer for Steve and putting them down on a table. Steve picks up two cups and goes to one corner, climbing the ringpost. He salutes the fans then chugs the two beers. He proceeds to do this in each corner of the ring. When he finishes, Sting has come out. Sting talks about the embarassing display he's looking at. He talks about their rematch at Judgement Day. Austin starts to exchange words with Sting. Austin tells him to have a beer and throws one in Sting's face, then gives him the finger. Sting stands there pissed off and not moving a muscle. When Austin's back is turned, Sting picks up the keg and slams it against Austin's head. Austin collapses. Sting puts the keg down and stands over Austin staring down at him. Sting spits in Austin's face and walks out of the ring. On his way to the back he passes a group of officials and EMT's running down with a stretcher. As they begin to work on Austin, the show goes to commercial. When the show returns from commercial, Steve Austin is shown being put on a stretcher. Jim Ross swears what everyone is seeing is not pretend. He apologizes and informs us that due to the time spent with the Austin incident, the Road Warriors/Demolition match has been postponed until Smackdown. The EMT's take Austin on the stretcher to the backstage area. They load him into an ambulance and rush off. Sting is shown standing there watching them take off and is smiling. He is confronted by Ric Flair, who calls what he did cheap. In the main event, Flair had the Rock in the figure four leglock as time expired. McMahon gives it some thought and informs Rock, he can have another match with Flair next Monday on Raw. Kenta Kobashi defeated Kevin Nash via pinfall in 0:11:45. When he told The Rock he could have another match with Flair, he meant a match. not a title match. Shane reminds him he got his title shot last Monday and didn't win the title, the stipulation was he won't get another title shot this year. Shane informs The Rock to hand the title to the referee as Ric Flair is still the Champion. The Rock tosses the belt onto the mat and leaves the ring. Nash calls it a warm up as he prepares to face Ric Flair at Judgement Day. Flair comes out to the ring. He reminds Nash he's beaten him before and says he'll have no problem beating him again. Sting comes out to the ring. Sting gets in Flair's face about the comments he made to him after his attack on Austin last week. Flair tells Sting he stands by his remarks and goes on to call Sting a chicken s***. Flair and Sting start exchanging blows. Once Flair gets the upper hand, he is attacked by Nash. Sting and Nash briefly double team Flair, until Steve Austin runs in to make the save. He gives stunners to both Sting and Nash. Flair and Austin then throw Sting & Nash out of the ring. X Pac pinned Dynamite Kid after a legdrop in 0:09:29. Rating: *** 1/2 [Dean Malenko interfered against Dynamite Kid.] Rick Rude pinned Barry Windham with the Rude Awakening in 0:07:51. At one point, Jericho was out of the ring. Angle attacked him and threw him back in, helping Kikiuchi win the match. In the main event, Triple H came out with his sledgehammer. During the match, when the referee was distracted, Triple H hit Sid with the sledgehammer. Sid then walked right into the Tombstone Piledriver. He calls him the People's Champion. Heenan asks for a spotlight. The lights are lowered and the spotlight shines on the pedestal. Heenan pulls off the cloth to reveal a Championship belt. It looks like the WWF Heavyweight Championship, except it reads People's Championship. Heenan presents the Rock with the People's Championship belt and puts it around Rock's waist.
