They discuss what happened last week when Adam Flash became the first TCW State Champion. They announce that he will be facing Alan Stone in a non-title match later in tonight's program. xOMGx pinned Z-Barr with the Swinging Pedigree in 10:24. Rating: * ¾ After the match, the cameras cut backstage where Amanda Wensman is with TCW Commissioner, William Orta. Orta says that he has made an announcement concerning the TCW Heavyweight Title, and when a first-eve champion will be decided. Orta says that two matches will take place - tonight and next week - to determine the two men that will have the chance to become TCW Heavyweight Champion. He states that the title match will take place on Saturday, January 26th at Origin. Before leaving, Orta says that the first two competitors will be Aaron Draven and Wolfgang. (Commercials are shown for various local businesses in the Nashville area.) [Non-Title Match]: © Adam Flash (w/Pandora) defeated Alan Stone by disqualification in 3:53. Rating: ** [Darkside interfered against Adam Flash.] Alan Stone got a cheap shot in, against the State Champion, as Darkside had him distracted on the outside. Flash turned his attention to Stone, who quickly left the ring. This gave Darkside enough time to pull the champ's feet from under him and pull him outside of the ring. Darkside began to attack Flash as the crowd cheered, wildly! From the other side of the ring, Pandora ran over and jumped onto Darkside's back, trying to pull him away from her man. However, Darkside grabbed her by the hair and swung her over his head, sending her crashing to the thin mats below. Darkside then left the ringside area as Flash slowly got to his feet and saw what had happened to Pandora. Backstage, Amanda Wensman is with Aaron Draven, who says that tonight is only going to be the beginning of what he wants to accomplish in TCW. He says that Wolfgang is a great competitor, but that he doesn't think Wolfgang wants the Heavyweight Title as badly as he does. Draven says that there's only one way to end Origin on January 26th... and that's with him, holding up the TCW Heavyweight Title. (Commercials are shown for more Nashville-area businesses.) Backstage, Adam Flash checks on Pandora, who is being treated in the trainer's room. He promises to get even with Darkside the next time he sees him. [Heavyweight Title Contender Match]: Wolfgang pinned Aaron Draven after a roll away in 2:12. Rating: * 3/4 Wolfgang celebrated his quick victory over the cocky Aaron Draven tonight, as he earned himself a spot in the TCW Heavyweight Title Match at Origin on January 26th. He slid out of the ring and raised his arms in victory as Draven looked on - in disbelief - from the ring. Aaron Stevens Returns Amanda Wensman is backstage with Aaron Stevens. Amanda asks Aaron about being suspended for not showing at last week's edition of television tapings. Stevens tells Amanda that he has his reasons for not being at the show last week, but that none of those reasons really matter because William Orta had already made his decision. Stevens says that being away from the ring has made him more determined to make a statement tonight. Amanda then asked about the stipulation that Commissioner Orta has added to the main event tonight, putting Stevens against the man he would've faced last week - Zumbido. Stevens says that if William Orta wants to try to set an example for how he's going to run things in the TCW, then there's not better place to start then tonight. He says that it doesn't matter what stipulation Orta adds to the match because he was going out to the ring and going to prove that he's better then the so-called "top man" in TCW. (Commercials) Zeta vs. Ace Steel Zeta nails Ace Steel with a rana and goes for the cover. Referee Mike Sparks counts one, two... kickout! Zeta runs into the ropes and he and Steel hit each other with a double clothesline. Zeta is the first to his feet as he attempts a hiptoss, but Steel counters with a cradle suplex. Ace Steel follows up with an Elbowdrop. He picks up Zeta by the hair and chops him before getting Zeta in a hammerlock. Steel then, out of nowhere, hits a tiger driver for just a two count from the referee. Steel quickly recovers and puts Zeta in the STF. Zeta valiantly tries to break out of the hold, and finally reaches the ropes after nine seconds. Ace Steel gets to his feet and waits for Zeta to do the same before executing a drop toe hold. Steel then picks up Zeta and takes him back down with two consecutive dragon screws. Steel runs into the ropes and clotheslines Zeta. Steel attempts a book choke on the mat, but Zeta catches his boot and spins Steel around. Zeta quickly gets to his feet and attempts a spinning neckbreaker, but Steel catches him with an elbowsmash. Steel runs into the ropes and, again, takes Zeta down with a clothesline. He covers Zeta for another two count. Steel then picks Zeta up and attempts a vertical suplex, but Zeta, out of nowhere, counters it into an inside cradle for a two count! Back to their feet, Zeta bodyslams Steel, who quickly gets back to his feet. When he does, Zeta hits him with a cross body press for another two count. Zeta waits before going for a dropkick, but Steel pushes him away and Zeta crashes face-first to the mat. Steel connects with a succession of stomps on Zeta's back. Steel runs into the ropes as Zeta gets to his feet and takes him down with yet another clothesline. Steel waits as Zeta stands back up before bringing him back down with a drop toe hold. Steel goes for the cover and only gets a two count. Quickly, Steel is back on the attack, putting Zeta into a dragon sleeper. Zeta tries to fight his way out, before finally grabbing the ropes after 21 seconds! Pulling Zeta away from the ropes, Steel locks in the Camel Clutch. Twelve seconds later, Zeta is again able to reach the ropes. Steel gets back to his feet and stalks Zeta. When Zeta turns around, Steel executes the Twist of Cain. The crowd cheers Steel as he covers Zeta for the 1-2-3! Ace Steel pinned Zeta with the Twist of Cain in 5:13. Rating: ** ¾ An advertisement is run listing the dates of the next TCW Live Event tour: January 14 - Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, TN January 16 - Memorial Center in Johnson City, TN January 18 - Live television taping at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. Aaron Stevens takes Zumbido down with a facerake. Aaron Stevens goes for a DDT, but Zumbido blocks it. Zumbido whips Aaron Stevens into the barbed wire, but Aaron Stevens reverses it. Zumbido begs off. Aaron Stevens goes for a DDT, but Zumbido blocks it. Zumbido sends Aaron Stevens into the turnbuckle. Zumbido runs shoulder-first into the corner. Zumbido uses a springboard dropkick on Aaron Stevens. Zumbido acknowledges the portion of the crowd which is cheering him. Zumbido hits Aaron Stevens with a slap. Zumbido hits Aaron Stevens. Zumbido kicks Aaron Stevens. Zumbido acknowledges the portion of the crowd which is cheering him. Zumbido executes a dropkick on Aaron Stevens. Zumbido yells out "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"!. Zumbido nails Aaron Stevens with a chop. Zumbido kicks Aaron Stevens. The crowd seems to be rallying behind Zumbido. Zumbido chops Aaron Stevens. The boos are resurfacing again. Zumbido hits Aaron Stevens with a waistlock suplex. Chad Patton counts: One, two, thr... shoulder up. Zumbido executes the Moonsault on Aaron Stevens. Chad Patton counts: One, two, three. The boos are resurfacing again. Flaming Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Match: Zumbido pinned Aaron Stevens (w/Beth Phoenix) with the Moonsault in 9:20. Rating: *** 1/4 Zumbido raised his hands in the air as he is announced the winner. Beth Phoenix enters the ring and helps Aaron Stevens slowly leave the ring as Joe Allen and John Hall thank the fans for watching.
