NAWA Glory 3/10/05

The NAWA World Champion Harry Harris is in the ring, with the championship belt draped around his shoulder and a mixed reaction, given his actions over the past couple of weeks. Harris talks about those who accused him of purposely allowing Tony Mamaluke to attack Waterman with a chair last week. He didn't want to rush into the ring and suffer a similiar fate, as the NAWA World Champion, he has a hectic schedule to keep up, against the best of the world. Harris talks about how Reality Check will be the biggest night in NAWA history, when he puts his championship on the line against Ron Waterman. The first time ever these two legendary competitors in the New Age Wrestling Alliance will square off one on one on Pay Per View. It's going to be a true test of the champion, of his valor, of his determination, of his sheer force of will, but Harry Harris has overcome these challenges more often then not and in ten days time, in Toronto, he will walk out the NAWA World Champion.

Harris then shifts his attention from Ron Waterman to Scott Steiner, his opponent in five days at NAWA Glory Xtra: the Ides of March. Another tough title defense, but Harris says it will be a nine warm up match to prepare himself for his match with Ron Waterman. He reminds us that other than Ron Waterman, Scott Steiner is the only former NAWA World Champion that he hasn't scored a pinfall or submission victory over. At the Ides of March, Harris will beat Scott Steiner in the center of the ring, for the entire world to see.

"A Call for Blood" by Hatebreed plays and out comes CM Punk, with a microphone in his hand. Punk looks up the ramp, with a cocky expression on his face. He remarks that it's funny that Harry Harris is looking forward to his title defenses against Scott Steiner and Ron Waterman, but the one man who should worry about ahead of any others, is the man standing right before him. Tonight, on Glory, CM Punk will get his first shot ever at the NAWA World Championship against Harry Harris, right here in the main event. The Reign of Punk will be on us as Harry Harris, along with many others before him, have succumbed to the awesome might of the most deadly submission move in wrestling, the Anaconda Vice. Punk says that Harry Harris has never submitted in his career, until last week that was and tonight Punk is going to duplicate that effort, to become NAWA World Champion.

Harris responds, putting over the Anaconda Vice as a devastating submission hold, before adding that it won't matter, as this time, Harris won't be in a position to have Punk slap it on him. Punk, much like Scott Steiner in five days, is just a mere speed bump on the road to the biggest match in the life of the NAWA World Champion, the biggest test, when he squares off against Ron Waterman, one on one, March 20th, for the NAWA World Championship at Reality Check. Punk gets the last word, saying that tonight, he'll prove that straight edge means that he is better than Harry Harris and the NAWA World Title will come around his waist. With that, the main event for tonight is hyped up, CM Punk against Harry Harris for the NAWA World Title.

Jerry Lynn is standing backstage, with the NAWA International Title, draped over his shoulder. Mamaluke got himself a cushy agent, that got him a seven figure salary, but what does that prove in the ring where it matters? In the ring, Jerry Lynn is in a master and he says that he's beaten Tony Mamaluke before. At Reality Check, he sees no reason why he can't do it again and retain his NAWA International Title.
