Well... first off, let me say that it's great to finally be back on the site! For the longest time, I seem to have had a link that didn't work, so I figured I wouldn't be posting very much. However, I've obviously found the link again, and will begin posting new threads once I get the time to write. Hopefully, they will be enjoyed by those who take the time to read it. Thanks to those who do... in advance.

ECW Mayhem - September 29, 2007 - Carver Arena - Peoria, Illinois

Armando Estrada and Umaga started off the program. Umaga came to the ring equipped with the ECW World and Television Titles on each of his shoulders. Estrada said that, at Unforgiven, Umaga did exactly what he was brought to ECW to do: dominate. Estrada said that, just by looking at Umaga, standing in the ring, everyone in ECW can see how dominate he really is. He reminded the crowd of who Umaga had to beat for both the titles, and that it was only one man... two separate times: Edge. Estrada said that there is no one in the ECW that has a chance of taking away either one of "The Samoan Bulldozer's" titles.

This brings out Super Crazy, who says that Edge is out of the picture, that he wants an ECW World Title Match at No Mercy. Estrada says that Super Crazy would be no challenge for the Champion, and that he should stick to being the lackey backstage, that he is. This infuriates Super Crazy! He slides into the ring and starts to attack Estrada, but is stopped as "The Rated X Superstar" Edge and Lita make their appearance.

Edge says that Estrada is correct; that Umaga has beaten him for both the Television and World Titles in ECW. But, Edge says that he could care less about the Television Title; that it was only the stepping stone he used to get into the World Title picture. He says that the true number one contender should be someone who has actually held a title during their career, saying that Super Crazy is stepping way out of his league in challenging Umaga. And, Edge adds that, as a condition in his contract, he is due a rematch for the ECW Title. Estrada says that if Edge wants to cash in his shot, Umaga would gladly send him through another table, just like he did at Unforgiven! The comment sends Edge into the ring, as all three men are left staring at each other as General Manager Shane McMahon interrupts things.

McMahon says that Edge is, indeed due a contractual rematch for the World Title. However, he says that Edge has found himself in the middle of a situation with a few people on Raw, and that he doesn't know if Edge is capable of handling the workload. Edge swears to McMahon that there is nothing more important to him then the ECW World Title, and says he wants to face Umaga, no matter what the cost. McMahon commends Edge and says that there's really only one way to settle things: a Number One Contenders Match between Super Crazy and "The Rated X Superstar" Edge!

Monday Night Raw - October 1, 2007 - Quicken Loans Arena - Cleveland, Ohio

The Raw before No Mercy started with former ECW World Champion, Edge, demanding Intercontinental Champion Billy Roc to meet him in the ring. Edge, who was wearing a small bandage on the back of his head, said that Billy Roc cost him his chance at redeeming his life - the ECW World Title - by hitting him in the head with a chair, Saturday night on Mayhem. Edge said that if Billy Roc was any kind of champion, he would face him in the ring and explain himself. A few moments went by with no answer, causing "The Rated X Superstar" to say that the reason he left the Raw roster was because no one stood up for themselves. He said that he would not leave the ring until he Billy Roc came down to the ring.

This brought out Raw General Manager, Jonathon Coachman, who said that Edge doesn't have the right to hold up a show he's not a part of. Coachman said that he was not going to waste his time on someone who couldn't cut it on Monday nights and had to achieve success on a third-rate program. This angered Edge, as he threatened to kick Coachman's ass! Coachman said that Edge wouldn't have time to follow up on his threat because he would be spending some of that time looking for a partner to take on Billy Roc and Aaron Draven in tonight's main event. Coachman then left the stage, leaving Edge fuming in the center of the ring.

The Miz said that he wasn't concerned about not having an opponent, because there was no one who is able to take away his title. He tells Todd that he's beaten Randy Orton twice for the title, so there's not much else he has to prove. As The Miz walks away, he is attacked by Abdullah the Butcher! The Butcher said that he has beaten The Miz before, and will do it again at No Mercy. Abdullah walked off as Todd called for assistance.

In his locker room, Edge was seen talking on the phone, asking if they could make it to the arena by the end of the night. He hung up the phone and told Lita that Shane McMahon will be bringing a hand-picked partner to the arena later in the evening.

Billy Roc shook Aaron's hand before walking away. As Draven stood, holding his World Tag Team title over his shoulder and smiling, he was then confront by his tag team partner, Jerry Lawler. Lawler told Draven that he better not be overlooking his obligations as a Tag Team Champion. Lawler reminded Aaron that never fully agreed to be his partner, and that if Draven hadn't have escaped with a victory when they fought each other, the belts would be on someone else's shoulders. Draven said that his head was straight and that he wasn't going to overlook the titles. But, he said that he was just given a huge opportunity, and he wasn't going to let it pass him by.

In the General Manager's office, Women's Champion, Melina, reminded Jonathon Coachman that she was scheduled to defend the title against Michelle McCool tonight. She sat on the end of Coachman's desk and said she wasn't feeling well, and that she didn't think she could wrestle later in the evening. Lawler told him that he's letting this Stable Match at No Mercy take over what he has to do. Just outside his office door, Jonathon Coachman said that he witness what Jerry Lawler did to Aaron Draven minutes ago.
