MWWA Carnage
February 28, 2009
MTS Centre
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Commissioner Rod Kobyrn starts off the program when he comes out to the ring to a well-deserved pop from the crowd. Commissioner Kobyrn says that he has been in this business for a very long time, and that last week was the first time he had ever been considered a racist. He says that he has done everything in his power to make sure everyone in the Mid-West Wrestling Association had a fair and equal chance of obtaining success... but, that it's up to the individuals to take advantage of those chances. Kobyrn says that he has nothing to do with whether or not Masao Orihara and Yuji Nagata feel they're not getting exposure. He reminds the crowd that Nagata has been a former MWWA Tag Team Champion, and that Orihara hasn't been in the company very long. But, he concedes his point and announces that, later tonight, Orihara and Nagata will take on the team of Jay Lethal and Perry Saturn.

Backstage, Heavyweight Champion Kenta Kobashi is seen searching the hallways of the MTS Centre. He is heard speaking in Japanese with his interpreter as Trent Acid appears. Kobashi gets into Acid's face and begins screaming in Japanese. Acid pushes the Champion back as the interpreter questions whether or not Acid has taken the Heavyweight Title. Acid says that has no reason to take the title... but that he'll gladly do it if no one else can.

Also backstage, in the locker room, Rex Butler is seen talking quietly on his cell phone. He tells the person he is talking to that he can't wait to seem them. He says he misses them, too. The door to the locker room opens up as Rex quickly says goodbye and hangs up the phone. Missy enters the picture as Rex puts his phone back in his bag. Missy asks who he was talking to, and Rex answers that he was just checking his voice mail. Missy tells Rex that she's sorry for all the trouble she's cost him lately, and that if there was any way to make it up, to just let her know. Rex stands and says that he'll think about it and get back to her. As Rex leaves the room, Missy grabs his cell phone and opens it up...

As Carnage returns from the break, static appears on the Megatron above the stage. Justin Credible appears on-camera once the static clears. He says that he's been sitting back, watching the MWWA Heavyweight Champion run around like a chicken with his head chopped off... all in search for the Heavyweight Title. Credible says that the past week has been a clear sign that Kenta Kobashi is not worthy of holding the Heavyweight Title that Credible has made respectable. Credible says that he was the one who put the MWWA on the map, and that he's the only three-time Heavyweight Champion. And, that means something. He says it means that he can rise to the top when the odds are stacked against him; and that he's at his best when the big prize is on the line. Credible tells the crowd that he didn't want to talk about himself tonight, but rather, make an announcement about who has the Heavyweight Title. Credible then holds up the belt and smiles, causing the crowd to boo in unison. Credible says that the only way Kenta Kobashi will get the title back, is if he beats Credible next week. But, Credible says that if he beats Kobashi, then at Chaos, Credible will get his Heavyweight Title rematch. The static appears once again as the crowd looks on, stunned.

Backstage, Commissioner Kobryn watches a monitor in disbelief of what he just saw. He shakes his head and turns his attention to Carolyn Rand, who is standing near-by. Kobryn says that he doesn't know what to think about the actions taken by Justin Credible. He says that he's going to think long and hard about whether or not to comply with the stipulations set forth by a man who stole the Heavyweight Title and used it for his own advantage. Kobyrn then says that he's done talking about the subject for now, but announces that Batista's next opponent will be Television Champion, Halloween, in a non-title match tonight.

Rex Butler (w/Missy) pinned Tarek the Great with the Wicked Sensation in 6:41.

In the back, Masao Orihara and Yuji Nagata are asked about the comments made earlier by Commissioner Kobyrn, and about their up-coming match against Jay Lethal and Perry Saturn. Nagata, speaking with broken English, says that Kobryn is hearing things; and that at no point last week did neither he nor Masao call Commissioner Kobyrn a "racist". Nagata says it's not race that he's complaining about, but rather the fact that because he was trained in the Japanese style of wrestling, that it's obvious Kobyrn doesn't want "real wrestling". He says that tonight, Masao and himself would prove that they can defeat the former Tag Team Champions.

Standing along, backstage, Batista says that Justin Credible stealing the Heavyweight Title and demanding the stipulations that he did, are only leading up to a match that Credible doesn't want... against "the Animal". Batista says that he's beaten Credible for the title before, and if it comes down to it, he'll be more then happy to do it again. He says that tonight, his concentration is on getting one match closer to the Heavyweight Title.

Backstage, a furious Kenta Kobashi talks to Commissioner Kobyrn in Japanese. His interpreter translates to Kobryn that Kobashi accepts Justin Credible's challenge for next week, but he wants the match to be a Ladder Match. Kobyrn says that if the Champion wants the match, he's got it.

Fixed.

Loving this circuit so far.

The Rex/Missy situation is alot of fun. Looking forward to whoever was on the phone to appear. That should bring on the fireworks.

I'm thinking Credible for the win for a shot at the title at Chaos.

Will someone please smack "The Animal" on the nose with a rolled up newspaper?
