Rating: *** [Sting interfered against Steve Austin.] Lita pinned Stacy Keibler with the Moonsault in 0:05:05. Rating: -* 3/4 Arn Anderson pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Gourdbuster in 0:10:27. Rating: **** Dave Taylor pinned Tatanka after a forearm smash in 0:07:02. Rating: ** 3/4 Honky Tonk Man pinned Ric Flair after a piledriver in 0:10:06. Rating: *** 3/4 Dean Malenko made Perro Aguayo Jr. submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:12:19. Rating: **** 1/4 DeGeneration X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) defeated Injustice League (Kevin Nash and Rick Rude) when S. Michaels defeated Nash by disqualification in 0:17:08. Rating: ** 1/2 [Scott Hall interfered against Rick Rude.] [Sting interfered against Shawn Michaels.] No Way Out highlights air. The Rock is introduced as the new Champion, and gives a speech on winning the title. Sting's interference caused Steve Austin to lose to Randy Orton. Bruno Sammartino returns and announces the first two entrants in the Royal Rumble: Shawn MIchaels and Triple H. Shawn and Triple H come to the ring to discuss recent events. Meanwhile, the titan tron shows Kevin Nash destroying X Pac backstage. Nash demands a match with Shawn & Triple H tonight. Lex Luger is shown arriving. He is confronted by Sting. Luger again tries to shake his hand, but Sting attacks him for taking his title. Sting informs Luger he's out of the stable. Bruno Sammartino announces Royal Rumble qualifying matches will begin on Smackdown and promises other participants will be revealed. Before the main event, Kevin Nash receives a phone call. He informs Sting that Shane called, him and his new bodyguard will be arriving shortly. After the main event, Michaels, Triple H, & Hall fight with Nash, Rude, & Sting. It is a fair fight, until Shane McMahon shows up with his new bodyguard, Sid Justice. Sid manages to clean house. Lex Luger runs out and tries to help but is also no match for Sid. |

Rating: ** 3/4 Candice Michelle pinned Torrie Wilson with the Go Daddy Elbow in 0:05:30. Rating: 1/4* The Undertaker pinned Chris Masters with the Tombstone in 0:07:23. Rating: *** 1/4 [Royal Rumble Qualifying Match]: Dan Severn and Ken Shamrock defeated Kurt Angle and Curtis Hughes when Shamrock pinned K. Angle after a forearm smash in 0:11:33. Rating: **** 1/4 Lex Luger pinned Sting after a back suplex in 0:11:04. Rating: * 1/4 (Lex Luger retained the Intercontinental Championship.) [Steve Austin interfered against Sting.] Mistico pinned Dynamite Kid after a high speed sunset flip in 0:12:15. Rating: **** 1/4 [Harry Smith interfered against Dynamite Kid.] The Rock defeated Vader by disqualification in 0:18:29. Rating: **** (The Rock retained the Heavyweight Championship.) [Kevin Nash interfered against The Rock.] No Way Out highlights air. At the opening of the show, Shane McMahon is in the ring with Sid Justice and Sting. Shane announces tonight the Rock will defend his title against Vader. Sting then talks about his former stable mate Lex Luger. Shane then informs Sting he will get a shot at regaining the Intercontinental title tonight. After his match, The Undertaker calls out The Rock. The Rock comes to the ring, Undertaker confronts him about a rematch. Kevin Nash then comes to the ring to declare himself as the #1 Contender. Bruno Sammartino comes out and announces Undertaker will receive the next title shot. And Kevin Nash will also receive the next title shot, in a triple threat match at Royal Rumble. Steve Austin helped Luger win his match. Afterwards, Austin and Sting began to brawl in the ring. Sid Justice ran out and attacked Austin. It was a 2 on 1 attack until Luger returned to help Austin. After the main event, Nash and The Rock began to fight. Rock eventually knocked Nash out of the ring. Undertaker's music began to play as he came out and stood at the top of the stage. The three men stare each other down as the show goes off the air. Backstage after his match, Cactus Jack went after Shane. Sid Justice threatened Cactus Jack and warned him against attacking Shane. Cactus told Shane one day, he would get even with Shane. Shane tells Sid, Cactus Jack is still upset over being pinned by him at No Way Out. After the double countout, DX and The Undertaker battled the Injustice League before the show went off the air. To calm them down, Sammartino announced he would put them in a Royal Rumble qualifying match on Raw. Arn Anderson is now the #1 Contender for the European Championship. The Road Warriors are now the #1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship.
