Rating: * ¾

Segment:
Backstage, Kenta Kobashi is seen speaking with his interpreter, when he is attacked from behind by MWWA Heavyweight Champion, Justin Credible. Credible screams at Kobashi, telling him that he won't lose the title at Payback. Credible walks away from the scene as Kobashi's interpreter checks on him.

No-Disqualification, Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Cloudy pinned Halloween with the Yoshi Tonic in 8:31.
Rating: * ½

Mistico pinned Tarek the Great after a high speed sunset flip in 4:29.
Rating: ***

Segment:
Batista comments from the MWWA Studios in Detroit that he has used his week off to think of ways to get himself back in to the Heavyweight Title pictures. He acknowledges his loss to Kenta Kobashi two weeks ago, saying he lost the match fairly. However, he says that Justin Credible should realize that without his whore - Jazz - Batista would still be Heavyweight Champion. "The Animal" promises that he will be the Heavyweight Champion in a very short time.

Non-Title Match:
Jay Briscoe pinned Z-Barr after the Michinoku Driver in 7:16.
Rating: ****

Yuji Nagata defeated Kenta Kobashi by disqualification in 8:58.
Rating: ***

CARD RATING: ***

Match Observations:

It appears that Jay Briscoe has found himself a very good tag team partner - or bodyguard - in Cloudy. It seems like the Television Champion has no worries heading into his title match against Halloween at Payback, as later in the evening, he could care of Z-Barr in the best match of the evening.

Kenta Kobashi looked to be a little shaken up after the vicious attack by Justin Credible during the show, tonight. The frustration boiled over into the main event, causing Kobashi to toss referee Tim White out of the ring and disqualify himself. The Heavyweight Champion seemed proud of himself backstage, after the show... but it remains to be seen what Kobashi will do at Payback on 2/17.

And, even though he was not in St. Louis tonight, the crowd at the Sprint Center could feel Batista's determination. It will be a bad day for whoever is Heavyweight Champion when Batista becomes Number One Contender, again.

Nice card.

That Batista has a potty mouth! No way he's going to be the heavyweight champion again. He's not ... Justin Credible!
