MWWA CARNAGE - Jan. 10, 2009 - Totoya Center - Houston, Texas

Rick Harris and Walt Richardson welcome up to another edition of MWWA: Carnage, live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Rick Harris: "Hello and welcome everyone to week two of MWWA's adventure to live television! I'm Rick Harris, alongside Walt Richardson. We are coming to you live from warm Houston, Texas, where tonight will find out what team will be facing newly crowned MWWA Tag Team Champions - Yoshihiro Takayama and Yuji Nagata - for the titles at Awakening, next Saturday night in Pittsburgh!"

Walt Richardson: "That's right, Rick. Last week was a somber way to start of Carnage's existance... with the departure of one-half of the greatest  tag teams we've seen here in the MWWA. In Mark Briscoe's last match, we saw him and his brother Jay drop the titles to Takayama and Nagata. And, now with his brother in semi-retirment, Jay Briscoe has had to start from scratch when it comes to getting closer to his fourth tag team title reign. Tonight, the two teams that have been watching from the sidelines finally get to prove themselves inside the ring... and show that they have what it takes to be champions!"

As Walt finishes, MWWA Heavyweight Champion Batista makes his way to the ring, in a fine-pressed suit, carrying the belt over his shoulder.

Batista: "Let me tell ya... it's great to be in Houston, tonight! (crowd cheers) I have to say, it's an honor to stand before you as the Mid-West Wrestling Association Heavyweight Champion! (crowd cheers) Now, I know that I wasn't here last week due to the severity of a match I had with the man who will challenge me for this title, next Saturday night at Awakening - Justin Credible..."

Batista is interrupted as Justin Credible makes his way to the ring, followed by Jason, Nicole Bass, and Jazz. Credible gets into Batista's face and smiles.

Credible: "So... champ, you didn't show up in Detroit because of the severity of our match two weeks ago? I guess I should come out here and congradulate you for having the balls to be honest with these people. You want every one of these people in Houston to cheer for you and like what you do inside this ring. But, how in the hell can they, when you don't show up because you got your ass beat in an Iron Man match? (crowd boos as Batista glares at Credible) You were out of the show last week and you won the match, right? Well, you're looking at the man who went an hour with the MWWA Heavyweight Champion, lost, and STILL made it to Detroit to be on the first edition of Carnage! Tell me, Champ... what the hell do you think these idiots in Houston think about it, now that they know?"

Batista brings the microphone up to his face to respond. But, before he can say anything, Jason and Nicole Bass chop-block his legs, sending the champion to the ground. Justin Credible attacks Batista as Jason and Bass hold his legs from getting loose...

Rick: "We need some help out here, now!"

Walt: "No, we don'! This is awesome!"

MWWA officials rush down to the ring as Credible drops to the mat and rolls underneathe the bottom rope. He smiles as Jason and Bass do the same thing. Furious, Batista gets to his feet and charges towards the ropes, only to get stopped by the officials. The Champion screams at the group as they make their way up the ramp.

Ads for the Playstation 3, Wendy's, and "Save Me" are shown.

Toby Klein pinned Masao Orihara with the Death Valley Driver in 12:11.

Backstage, Batista is shown icing the side of his face, where Justin Crredible had connected with a few boot shots at the beginning of the show. As he sits, with the pack on his face, he is approached by Carolyn Lands.

Carolyn: "Batista... have you heard anything from the trainers about your condition after tonight's attack from Justin Credible? And, what's running through your mind right now?"

Batista: "Carolyn... the doctors have all told me that I'm fine. I've just got some brusing, but that it should all go down within the week. Other then that, I'm fine. And, as far as what's running through my mind right now... well, it should be fairly simple. I'm only thinking about one thing: beating the living hell out of Justin Credible next Saturday night at Awakening!"

Ads for the Nintendo Wii and Burger King are shown, followed by a preview for the next episode of "The Ri$hes".

Coming back from the break, Jay Briscoe is standing backstage, next to Cloudy, who is staring into the camera.

J. Briscoe: "Mid-West Wrestling Assocation... it's time for you all to take note. What's your looking at right now are the two men who will - one day in the very near future - be your next Tag Team Champions! Now, I hope there's not a lot of you out there thinking that just because my brother Mark left the company last week, that I would struggle to find myself a partner. The fact is, my man, Cloudy here, was just itching to get back into the scene. And, with my help, he will be making his Carnage debut next week. Whoever wins the tag team titles at Awakening... watch out. Our time is coming..."

Number One Contenders Match:
Jay Lethal & Perry Saturn defeated Ryo Saito & Elix Skipper when Saturn pinned Saito with the Death Valley Driver in 15:03.
Rating: ** 3/4

After the match, as Lethal and Perry are celebrating their victory, Jay Briscoe and Cloudy appear on-stage, clapping their hands. Stunned, the new number one contenders stay inside the ring, staring that their cheerers. As they stand in the ring, Yoshihiro Takayama and Yuji Nagata slide into the ring and attack Lethal and Saturn from behind! Briscoe and Cloudy watch from the stage, not attempting to help them as MWWA officials rush down to the ring.

R. Harrs: "This is incredible, Walt!"
W. Richardson: "It's all a big set-up by Briscoe and Cloudy! But, the question is: Why?"
R. Harris: "Why? I think it's pretty clear, Walt. Briscoe and Cloudy seem to give off the impression that they will stop at nothing to make sure they get those Tag Team titles."
W. Richardson: "But Lethal and Saturn aren't the champions!"
R. Harris: "No, they're not. But, getting into their heads will definitely take them out of the title picture!"

The officials separate the two teams as Briscoe and Cloudy walk off the stage. In the center of the ring, both teams are fuming!

An ad is shown for next Saturday's "Awakening" pay-per-view with a preview of the Heavyweight Title Match between the Champion, Batista, and the challenger, Justin Credible. The new ad also acknowledges the Tag Team Title match between the teams of Jay Lethal and Perry Saturn going against the Champions, Yoshihito Takayama and Yuji Nagata. The pay-per-view ad is followed by ads for Nike, Taco Bell, and Dell Computers.

Coming back from the break, a small ad is show, listing the upcoming MWWA events: Sunday, January 11th in Beaumont, Texas... Monday January 12th in Lake Charles, Louisiana... Tuesday, January 13th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana... and next Saturday night, January 17th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for AWAKENING.

Backstage, the cameraman shows Trent Acid entering the Toyota Center. He is seen, walking with a limp, due to the brace that surrounds his left knee.

R. Harris: "Walt, I can't believe it! Trent Acid has made his way to Houston for Carnage!"
W. Richardson: "He sure did! But, it doesn't look like he's in any shape to be in action tonight. The last I heard, he wasn't on the card... and that he wasn't given permission to be here!"
R. Harris: "What is going to happen, tonight?"

Kenta Kobashi pinned Yuji Nagata after a brain buster in 11:40.
Rating: *** 1/4

Ads for Edge shave gel, Wendy's, Netflix, and Toyota are shown before a preview of "Dirt".

Coming back from the break, Trent Acid make his way to the ring, slowly limping down the ramp's incline. Inside the ring, he balances himself in the center of the canvas, with a microphone in-hand.

T. Acid: "A lot of you might not know this... only because the MWWA has been on TV for two short weeks. And, I'm sure you're all asking yourselves, 'What the hell is this guy going out here?' Am I right? Well, for those of you who haven't been paying attention to this company since it started, my name is Trent Acid, and I'm the former Television Champion! I'm sure you're wondering why I'm out here making such a big deal about being a former title holder. Well, it's easy! See this frickin' brace I have on my leg? THAT... that is the reason I'm not Television Champion anymore! (crowd murmurs) I am out here tonight, because I am disgraced with how the Television Championship is being looked at. Who in the hell would've thought that Jay Briscoe - of all people - would hold my title? And, I'm damn sure that no one thought Rex Butler would be the number one contender! He's getting a chance at the title ONLY because I'm not physically able to beat the living hell out of either one of them! (crowd begins to boo)"

"Oh, yeah, go ahead and boo me, you Texas rednecks! (crowd cheers at the mention of their home state) You people don't know what you're looking at!"

From the stage, Jay Briscoe appears with the TV Title around his waist. His apperance grabs Acid's attention...

T. Acid: "Oh, so you're finally gonna show your face in my presence? I bet you feel pretty damn good about winning that title, don't ya? (Briscoe nods his head and shrugs his shoulders). God damn it! You think you're top sh** around here, don't ya? Well, let me tell you something. I didn't work my ass off to be TV Champion in the short amount of time it took me, just to lose the title to you! (crowd boos again as Briscoe mimmicks fear)"

T. Acid: "You think this is funny!? Why don't you come on down here, and I'll show you what's funny: brace and all!"

Acid drops his microphone as Briscoe slowly walks down the ramp, unstrapping his title from his waist. He drops the belt on the ramp but then stops just short of the ring and shakes his head. Acid limps backwards in the ring, giving Briscoe space to enter, but is suddenly attacked by Rex Butler!!

R. Harris: "Oh my god! Are Briscoe and Butler working together!?"
W. Richardson: "I don't know, but it would sure appear that way!"

In the ring, Rex stomps on Acid's injured leg, as screams of pain escape his throat. The crowd can be see grimmacing as they listen to the pain in Acid's voice. Rex picks up Acid and places him on his shoulders. Butler drops Acid on the canvas with a devestating Wicked Sensation! He stands over Acid's motionless body before staring at Jay Briscoe. Briscoe smirks and nods his head before picking up the TV title and heading back up the ramp.

R. Harris: "Those two will be facing up this Sunday night for the MWWA Television Title! But, what in the hell is Trent Acid going to say about all that?"

An ad for "Awakening" is shown, hyping the title matches that will take place next Saturday night in Pittsburgh.

Non-Title Match:
Batista pinned Jay Briscoe after a spinebuster slam in 7:09.
Rating: *** 1/4

After the match, Batista celebrates with the title as the crow cheers. He grabs the Heavyweight Title and begins to head out of the ring, but is stopped when he sees Justin Credible standing on the stage. Credibles makes a motion around his waist telling Batista that he wants the Heavyweight Title.

R. Harris: "Oh, no! We're gonna end the night the same way we started it!"
W. Richardson: "I love it!"

Before Credible can make his way down the ramp, MWWA Officials surround him. The show goes off the air as the two men glare at each other.
