Monday Night Raw
January 22, 2007
U.S. Cellular Center
Cedar Rapids, Iowa

"To Be Loved" plays as the camera goes inside the U.S. Cellular Center, where Jim Ross and Todd Grisham welcome the audience to the final RAW before the Royal Rumble this Sunday night in Minneapolis. JR informs everyone that Jonathon Coachman will be making an announcement about the main event, coming up shortly. The show has a short introduction as the first match of the evening gets introduced by Lillian Garcia. "The Model of Excellence" Rob Conway is introduced to a minimal reaction from the Cedar Rapids crowd. JR mentions that, in his last match, Conway made Edge submit in less than a minute(!). "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters is introduced next, with the crowd giving him the same reaction, almost exactly. Todd mentions that Masters is also coming into this match with a victory... over Randy Orton. The two stare down each other as JR and Todd agree that this match should be a great one to kick off the program.

Chris Masters pinned Rob Conway after a fisherman suplex in 6:10.
Rating: ** ¾

Masters quickly leaves the ring after his victory; smiling at the boos he's receiving from the crowd. Rob Conway, in the ring, is stunned at how he lost the match. Sitting on his knees in the center of the ring, he looks at Masters in wonder as "The Masterpiece" walks up the ramp. As Masters walks through the curtain, the camera goes backstage, where Jonathon Coachman is seen, standing alone.

JC: "Ladies and gentlemen, as you all know, this Sunday night will be the first major pay-per-view of 2007. The Royal Rumble will test the abilities of 30 of the top WWE and ECW Superstars, with the last man standing being granted a Title Match of his choice at WrestleMania. Tonight, as I promised last week, 10 of RAW's 12 Superstars will be taking place in a preliminary battle royal. You could call it a 'test run' for this Sunday night. I am here, now, to announce the names of those 10 Superstars. They are: Johnny Nitro, Harry Smith, Trevor Murdoch, Edge, Randy Orton, John Cena, JTG, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Triple H, and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Gentlemen, we will see you out in that ring for tonight's main event."

RAW goes to commercials with Coachman staring into the camera.

RAW returns from the break as JR and Todd Grisham explain the circumstances surrounding the Intercontinental Championship. JR reminds the audience that Robbie McAlister won the title by default, since his opponents eliminated themselves last week. Todd chimes in and says that, right now, Jeff Hardy and Spirit Squad member, Mikey, will determine who will face McAlister at the Royal Rumble. Inside the ring, Lillian Garcia announces Mikey to a tremendous amount of boos and jeers from the crowd. Mikey blows a bullhorn into the air, which echoes through the arena as he enters the ring; an attempt to shut up the crowd. His arrogance is interrupted as Jeff Hardy's music begins to play and Lillian introduces "The Charismatic Enigma" to the Cedar Rapids crowd. Hardy, wasting no time, runs down the ramp and slides into the ring as the match begins.

Jeff Hardy pinned Mikey after a top-rope Frankensteiner in 12:53.
Rating: ** ½

Jeff Hardy celebrates the victory, holding his lower back after the high-impact moves that took place in the match. Mikey is shown, lying on the canvas, holding his head after the finishing move. JR and Todd say that this match was the most explosive they've seen in the time since RAW returned. As Hardy leaves the ring, the scene turns to the backstage area.

In the back, Maria is with Intercontinental Champion, Robbie McAlister...

M: "Robbie..."
RM: "... I'm ROBBIE!"
M: "Yeah... So, we just saw Jeff Hardy win a title match against you this Sunday Night at the Royal Rumble. Are you confident going into this weekend, knowing now who you will have to defend against?"
RM: "I won this title fair and square. Jeff Hardy had to wrestle twice to get a title match this Sunday. It won't do him any good, though. Because, this Sunday night, he will only get one chance to beat me. There is no bad blood between the two of us, but he does want what I own. I can't allow that to happen."

... in another area of the U.S. Cellular Center, Lance Cade is seen standing in the hallway, talking to Trevor Murdoch. The two separate as Cade turns back towards the locker room. As he turns the corner, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin attack him, blindsided! After a brutal attack, Haas and Benjamin leave the scene, celebrating... much to the dislike of the audience. RAW goes to commercials, showing Cade laying on the hallway floor.

As soon as RAW returns from the break, Lillian Garcia introduces Shad Gaspard as Cryme Tyme's music begins to play. The crowd isn't sure how to respond to Shad as he enters the ring. Next, Charlie Haas is introduced as the crowd begins to boo his actions from moments ago. As Haas walks down the ramp, JR and Todd say that what he and Benjamin did was uncalled for. Todd asked if they were trying to send a message to Cade & Murdoch... but couldn't think of a reason why. Haas enters the ring as Lillian exits, and the match begins.

Charlie Haas defeated Shad Gaspard via pinfall in 15:31.
Rating: DUD

Charlie Haas left the ring, smiling, after pulling off the victory against Shad. However, Haas was about the only happy person in the U.S. Cellular Center, as must of the crowd booed this match. JR and Todd mentioned that the crowd was totally against this match since the beginning, and only towards the end did they begin to show reaction to it. Inside the ring, Shad was just as shocked at the response, but he was more upset about the loss, itself.

Backstage, Viscera is seen walking out of his locker room, when he bumps into Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estara...

AAE: "Viserca, very soon you will realize that the WWE Championship is not yours to have! My monster, the "Samoan Bulldozer" intends on winning that title this Sunday night, and there's nothing... ha ha... that you can do about it! You may be a big, large man, but you do not have what it takes to defeat my monster, Umaga!"

... Viscera stands in silence as Umaga and Estrada walk away from the scene. In another area of the arena, Randy Orton is seen, standing alone with a very stern look on his face.

RO: "Two weeks ago, there was a four-corners match in my hometown of Saint Louis. That match was made, perfectly, for me to walk away with the WWE Championship! But, I guess something's aren't meant to be. As you can see, there's no WWE Title around my waist. This Sunday night, that title will be given to one of two men; neither one of them is me! However, I intend on being in the Royal Rumble match and earning my shot at the WWE... or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania!"

"But, you know, that is something else that I need to get off my chest. Last week, Jerry Lawler made some comments about me and losing my shot at the title in Saint Louis, two weeks ago. He's also made it very clear that he would like a shot at the WWE Title, himself. Well, Lawler, I know you're not at the broadcast booth tonight, so I know you can hear me. This Sunday night, you want to earn your shot at the WWE title? Well then, the only way that's going to happen is if you go through me! At the Royal Rumble, your legend as "The King" will come to a very decisive end at the hands of "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton."

... Orton continues to stare at the camera as the scene fades back to the ring area. JR says that he doesn't think Lawler knows what he's getting himself into. Todd Grisham seconded those sentiments, saying that Lawler is going to have his hands full this Sunday, but that, if "The King" wanted the title bad enough, he could win it.

Next up, Lillian Garcia introduces Beth Phoenix, who is making her in-ring debut tonight. Phoenix makes her way to the ring, where she stands in the corner awaiting her opponent. Lillian then introduces the returning Candice Michelle, who is coming back from her injuries suffered on the first episode in a lop-sided match against Viscera. Candice makes her way down the ramp, playing to the crowd as she enters the ring. Lillian leaves the ring as the match begins.

Beth Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle via pinfall 9:34.
Rating: -*

The crowd acted indifferent to the outcome of the match as Beth Phoenix pinned Candice in the center of the ring. As Beth was making her way up the ramp, JR and Todd Grisham began to make predictions for the upcoming battle royal as RAW took it's final commercial time out.

As RAW returned, Ric Flair and John Cena were seen in the ring. The bell rings and the 10-Man Preliminary Battle Royal begins...

10-Man Battle Royal:
JTG won a 10-Man Royal Rumble:
X J. Cena and R. Flair started out.
X R. Flair threw out J. Cena in 0:40.
X Jerry Lawler entered at 2:00.
X Trevor Murdoch entered at 4:00.
X Murdoch threw out Lawler in 5:36.
X JTG entered @ 6:00.
X Harry Smith entered @ 8:00.
X JTG threw out Harry @ 8:14.
X Johnny Nitro entered @ 10:00.
X R. Flair threw out Nitro @ 10:30.
X Triple H entered @ 12:00.
X Randy Orton entered @ 14:00.
X Edge entered @ 16:00.
X Triple H threw out Murdoch @ 16:19.
X R. Orton threw out Triple H @ 28:34.
X Edge threw out R. Flair @ 35:25.
X JTG threw out R. Orton after an abdominal stretch in 36:29.
X JTG threw out Edge after a bodyslam in 40:33.
Rating: *** ½

JTG is announced the winner of the Preliminary Battle Royal, and the crowd shows their dislike for the outcome by booing loudly, filling up the U.S. Cellular Center! JR says that he's surprised by the amount of time that Ric Flair spent in the match, just to lose it after the half-hour mark. Todd says that Jerry Lawler and Randy Orton never saw each other in this match, due to "the King's" elimination earlier in the match. JR asked the question of, will JTG be the favorite heading into Sunday's Royal Rumble? RAW goes off the air with JTG dancing in the ring.

Monday Night Raw
January 29, 2007
Xcel Energy Center
Saint Paul, Minnesota

At the beginning of the show, newly crowned WWE Champion - Umaga - came down to the ring, with Armando Alejandro Estrada.

AAE: "Last night, you were all witness to the destruction that my "Samoan Bulldozer" could dish out - ha ha! At the Royal Rumble, my monster - Umaga, made an example out of Viscera; a man who many claim to be the biggest man in the WWE. However, his size was no match for my monster's sheer power and strength, ha ha! Last night, I heard the cheers as Viscera was gaining the upper hand; but, I knew that Umaga was going to win the WWE Championship! So, as you all look into this ring and see my monster with the title around his shoulder... I say screw you! Tonight, however, the question of the evening is who Al Snow is going to choose to face at WrestleMania. I don't know when Al Snow is going to announce his intentions, but I want it to be well known... that, if Al Snow wishes to face my monster, he shall expect to lose! There is no one... and I mean - haha - no one, who can defeat my monster... UMAGA!"

Soon after the statement was made, the Royal Rumble winner - Al Snow - entered the Xcel Energy Center and was approached by Maria.

M: "Al, welcome to RAW. Just moments ago, Armando Alejandro Estrada said that you could not defeat him, if you chose to fight for the WWE Title at WrestleMania..."

Jeff Hardy, the former Intercontinental Champion, interrupts the interview and stares down Snow, who's holding the title over his shoulder.

JH: "I hope you enjoy having that belt... because you won't be keeping it for very long. You know damn well that belt should still be mine!"

----------

Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) defeated Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch when S. Gaspard defeated Murdoch by countout in 7:37.
Rating: -1/4*

Cade stared at Murdoch in disbelief after the match.

----------

Jeff Hardy was backstage, as RAW come back from commercials.

JH: "Al Snow, I know I made it very clear to you, earlier tonight, that I thought it was a complete sham that you walked out of the Royal Rumble with MY Intercontinental Championship! I told you that I will prove to you that you don't deserve the title, because you didn't earn it. And, I know of the only way you can prove to me and the rest of the world that you earn it... tomorrow night, on ECW, I am challenging you to a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title! Tomorrow night, you will see that Jeff Hardy is still "Extreme"."

In another area backstage, Maria was with Randy Orton.

M: "Randy Orton, last night, you were able to defeat Jerry "The King" Lawler in the opening match of the evening. However, "The King" was able to throw you out of the Royal Rumble match, costing you a title match at WrestleMania..."
RO: "Hold on a second, Maria. Last night, I proved once again that I am the "Legend Killer", as I stood over and watched Jerry Lawler hold his neck in pain after an RKO in the center of the ring. And, yes, Lawler did throw me out of the Rumble last night. But, you know what, Maria? Unlike that washed up hack of a wrestler, I still have an in-ring career! Next week, Lawler's gonna sit his ass down at that broadcast table and run his mouth about things that don't need his opinion. Something else I know is this: as of tonight, I am the true Number One Contender to the WWE Championship, no matter what Al Snow decides. I have every intention on standing toe-to-toe with Umaga wherever, whenever."

----------

Rob Conway pinned Harry Smith after a belly-to-belly suplex in 3:30.

----------

The Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) defeated The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) when Mikey pinned S. Benjamin after the High Spirits in 18:17.
Rating: **

----------

Backstage, RAW General Manager Jonathon Coachman addressed the audience.

JC: "Ladies and gentlemen, as you can see by the events that have taken place tonight, the World Tag Team Titles will be given out next week as Cryme Tyme takes on Kenny and Mikey of the Spirit Squad. However, also next week, there will be a four-woman tournament to determine the first WWE Women's Champion. This will finally fill the vacancies left for these respective titles; making them fair game from next week on. Thank you for your time, and enjoy the rest of the show."

In another area backstage, Maria is with the Intercontinental Champion, Al Snow.

M: "Al Snow, earlier tonight you were involved in a small confrontation with Jeff Hardy. Just moments ago, he issued a challenge to you for the Intercontinental Title, in a Ladder Match tomorrow night. What do you have to say to Jeff Hardy?"
AS: "Jeff Hardy wants to challenge me, to a Ladder Match tomorrow night, for the Intercontinental Title? Jeff Hardy wants to prove to me that he's extreme by coming into my territory; wanting a shot at this title? Well, I would love to see Jeff Hardy in an ECW ring, going full-out in a Hardcore Rules Ladder Match. So, Jeff, I hope you bring you're "A" game, because whether or not I keep this title... the fact remains that I'm still Number One Contender for any of the three major titles in this company. So, sure, bring yourself to Madison tomorrow night, and we'll see who can withstand the Ladder."

----------

Randy Orton pinned Jeff Hardy after a flying cross body press in 0:32.

Orton won the match by pulling Hardy's shorts for the 3-Count.

----------

Non-Title Match:
Umaga © (w/Armando Alejandro Estrada) and Eugene battled to a double countout in 3:13.
Rating: 3/4 *

After being distracted by Estrada, Eugene was brutally attacked by Umaga; who threw Eugene into the ring steps before executing the "Samoan Spike" outside the ring. The WWE Champion and AAE left Eugene lying outside the ring.

Monday Night Raw
February 5, 2007
The E Center
Salt Lake City, Utah

The show begins with a quick recap of last weeks events: Cryme Tyme and The Spirit Squad advancing in their tag team matches; Randy Orton's quick victory of Jeff Hardy (by pulling the tights), and the decimation of Eugene at the hands of WWE Champion, Umaga in a non-title match that ended in a double count-out. The sounds of "... To Be Loved" plays as Jim Ross tells the crowd that, due to the injuries sustained in the post-match attack by Umaga, Eugene will be out of action indefinitely, with a concussion. He and Todd Grisham wish Eugene good luck in his recovery as he and Todd Grisham begin introducing the show. There is going to be a four-woman tournament to determine the vacant Women's Title, along with the finals in the World Tag Team Title Tournament, between Cryme Tyme and Spirit Squad members Kenny and Mikey.

Backstage, Intercontinental Champion Al Snow says that, after a week of deep consideration, he will be making his decision as to who he be challenging at WrestleMania. Vince McMahon then appears on-screen and says that he is looking forward to Snow's announcement, next week in Portland. McMahon says that he has an announcement of his own, concerning the IC Title. Vince says that, at the Royal Rumble, Snow managed to win a title that can only be defended on Monday Night Raw. He tells Snow that, last week on ECW, was a rarity... only because there was a RAW opponent, taking part in a specialty match. However, Vince says that since Al Snow is in Salt Lake City tonight, he will be putting the IC Title on the line - later in the evening - against Jerry "The King" Lawler. This announcement sent a cheer through the crowd that echoed throughout the arena. JR says that this could be "The King's" chance to redeem himself for not winning the Royal Rumble.

Also in the back, Lance Cade confronts his partner Trevor Murdoch about last week's count-out lost. He says that he doesn't understand what got into Murdoch; how he could lose a match in that fashion, knowing that a shot to wrestle for the Tag Team Titles was on the line. Murdoch says that he doesn't know what to tell Cade, because he isn't sure why he didn't get back into the ring. Cade questioned Murdoch's drive to be the best tag team on RAW. Murdoch says that they should head out to the ring and fight any team that's willing to step into the ring with them. Murdoch promises Cade that he'll prove his worth, tonight.

----------

Cade and Murdoch make their way to the ring as RAW returns from commercials. Cade stated that, even though they lost their match last week, they know that they are the best tag team in the WWE. This prompted loud boos from the crowd. Murdoch then issues a challenge to any team in the back who thinks they can defeat the best team that RAW has to offer. Naturally, the team to accept the challenge is The World's Greatest Tag Team. Over the past few weeks, these two teams have been having some issues with each other, but have yet to step into the ring with each other. Tonight, however, is that night.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch when C. Haas defeated Cade when Cade passed out in the Haas of Pain in 3:21.
Rating: ***

After the match, Shelton Benjamin gets on the microphone and tells the crowd that they may not be in the World Tag Team Title match tonight, but soon, The World's Greatest Tag Team will be champions.

Backstage, Jerry "The King" Lawler is interviewed by Maria Kanellis. Maria asks Lawler how he feels about getting a shot at the Intercontinental Title later in the evening. Lawler says that he's fortunate to be given the shot tonight against Al Snow. He says he's shocked even, after his poor performance in the Royal Rumble. He says that tonight, he will show the fans of the WWE what a true champion can do in the ring, when he walks away from Salt Lake as the new Intercontinental Champion. At this point, Intercontinental Champion Al Snow appears and interrupts the interview. Snow says he wishes Lawler good luck, and says he will see "The King" in the ring, later tonight.

Lita defeated Candice Michelle by disqualification in 2:11.
Rating: -* 1/4

The crowd in Salt Lake City was hoping to get their first glimpse of Beth Phoenix during the Women's Title Tournament being held tonight. However, Lita had something to do with Phoenix not participating in the match, as she had taken out Beth to get her own show at the title. Due to do the disqualification of Candice Michelle, Lita was able to keep that promise.

----------

In their locker room, after the commercial break, Spirit Squad members Kenny and Mikey are seen backstage, talking about their up-coming title match against Cryme Tyme. Kenny says that, whether the people in Salt Lake City want to admit it or not, they are looking at the greatest tag team to ever grace Monday Night Raw. Tonight, he says, the Spirit Squad will walk out of The E Center as World Tag Team Champions.

Mickie James defeated Victoria by disqualification in 11:36.
Rating: *

As it stands, both women who have made their way to the finals, have gotten there due to disqualification. This is something that both Lita and Mickie James need to be concerned about, because a championship title can NOT change hands due to DQ. However, after the match, Victora, who is visibly upset about the loss, attacked Mickie James, hitting her with the "Widow's Peak" and leaving her lying prone in the ring. The attack was meant to send a message to the other women of RAW, and we'll see next week if it achieved its goal.

In the back, Randy Orton was confronted by Armando Alejandro Estrada. Estrada told Orton that he has made the biggest mistake of his career, saying that WrestleMania is two months away, and already Orton has gotten himself over his head. Estrada continues to say that, not only does Orton think he has all the time to get ready for Umaga but, if Al Snow doesn't choose to challenge Umaga, then it only gives the Monster more time to think of ways to destroy Orton. Orton returns the threats by saying he's a third-generation Superstar, and that he's seen his fair share of big talkers throughout the years. He tells Estrada that, whether or not Al Snow picks Umaga, there is nothing that will stand in Orton's way of becoming the WWE Champion.

WWE Women's Championship Match (Vacant):
Mickie James defeated Lita by disqualification in 9:53.
Rating: * 1/4
(The WWE Women's Title remained vacant.)

As the bells rings, signally the end of the match, Victoria continues her assault on Mickie James who is lying on the floor outside the ring. Lita, who knows she had this match won, slides outside the ring and pulls Victoria around to face Lita. She screams at Victoria, asking her what she's doing out there, costing her the Women's Title. Victoria says that the title should be hers and shoves Lita to the ground. WWE officials rush down to the ring as Lita gets to her feet and lunges towards Victoria, starting a full-out brawl between the two women. The officials pull the two women away from each other as they continue to scream. RAW goes to commercials as they are escorted to the back.

----------

World Tag Team Championship Match (VACANT):
Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) when Mikey defeated JTG by disqualification in 7:56.
Rating: ¾ *
(The World Tag Team Championships remained vacant.)

For the third straight match, there has been no winner announced as it pertains to the vacated titles left on RAW. The fans, by this point, have begun to boo the product put before them. JR says that this is the first time he's seen, or heard, an audience respond like this during a live show. Todd tells JR that, whether they like it or not, this is a threat during a live telecast. JR says he hopes things can turn around before the end of the evening. Todd says that they get one last chance, with the up-coming Intercontinental Title Match.

Backstage, Jeff Hardy says in an interview with Maria that Randy Orton got away with a victory even he knows he shouldn't have gotten. He says that Orton's victory was absolutely a fluke, and something that should not have happened... especially that quickly. Hardy called out Orton, saying that "The Legend Killer" knows he cheated last week, pulling Hardy's trunks to win. He issues a challenge to Orton for next week, in Portland, saying that Orton can expect a totally different outcome.

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Jerry Lawler pinned Al Snow © with the Piledriver in 16:17.
Rating: *** ½
(Jerry Lawler won the Intercontinental Championship.)

Jerry Lawler shocked the crowd as he was announced the winner, and NEW Intercontinental Champion, after defeated Al Snow in tonight's main event! Lawler is handed the title by the referee as Al Snow slowly gets to his feet. Snow, shaken and visibly upset about the loss, walks over to Lawler and extends his hand in respect. Lawler, weary of the showing, looks around The E Center for advice from the crowd. A moment later, Lawler shakes the former champion's hand as the arena fills up with cheers. Snow turns and leaves the ring as Lawler stands in the center, holding the IC Title into the air. However, the camera quickly changes back to the stage, as Umaga appears and attacks Al Snow, sending a roar of boos from the crowd. "The Samoan Bulldozer" and Armando Alejandro Estrada stand over the prone body of Al Snow as Estrada continues to shout out instructions. The WWE Champion grabs Snow by the hair, pulling him to his feet, where he hits Snow with the Samoan Spike - sending Snow, crashing to the steel stage below. Umaga screams out as Estrada laughs at what has taken place. Inside the ring, Jerry Lawler looks on in shock at what he, and the Salt Lake City crowd, has just seen. RAW goes off the air as Lawler stares at the WWE Champion, shaking his head.

Monday Night Raw
February 12, 2007
Rose Garden
Portland, Oregon

The show starts off, from Portland, with Jonathon Coachman coming out to the ring. He says the events that took place last week during both the Women's Title and World Tag Team title matches, disgusted him, and that's why he's out here tonight. He says that, over the last week, he has spoken to Vince McMahon about the two situations; and they will both be resolved tonight. Coachman says that the only way to make sure that both of the belts have owners at the end of the night, is to make each title match have a stipulation. He says the first title match of the night will be the Women's Title Match. He tells the Portland crowd that this match will be a Four-Corners-Match with no time limit, meaning that no matter how long it takes, there will be a champion crowned, tonight. He also announces that the World Tag Team title match will be a rematch between Cryme Tyme and Kenny and Mikey of the Spirit Squad. This match will be contested with the ruling that the titles can be won by either count-out or disqualification. The crowd loved these rulings; they are clear signs that RAW is bringing a lot of action to Portland, tonight.

After making the announcement concerning the two title matches tonight, Coachman introduces Royal Rumble winner, Al Snow, to the ring. Snow says that, as promised, he is here to make his formal announcement of who his opponent will be at WrestleMania. He says that he spent all week thinking about it, and is ready to make his decision. Snow says that he has chosen to challenge Matt Striker for the ECW World Title in a Random Gimmick Match at WrestleMania. The crowd cheers the decision as Snow and Coachman shake hands. Before Snow leaves, Coachman says that he has an announcement of his own. Coachman says that, even though Snow has made his decision for WrestleMania, he is still standing inside a RAW ring. Coachman says that Vince McMahon didn't want Snow to leave without taking part in tonight's main event. Snow gave Coachman a very confused looks and awaits the General Manager's statement. Coachman says that tonight, Al Snow will be teaming up with the man who took the Intercontinental Title from him last week - Jerry "The King" Lawler... as they team up to take on WWE Champion Umaga and ECW World Champion, Matt Striker. The crowd is shocked by this announcement as Coachman wishes Snow a good evening before leaving the ring.

--------------------------------------------

Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) pinned Val Venis with the Superkick in 13:56.
Rating: **

Johnny Nitro and Val Venis started off Raw with an above average match, that saw Melina get into the mix of things, trying to distract Venis while outside the ring. However, Venis was able to overcome the distraction... but not for long. The younger, more agile Nitro picked up the victory in this one.

Backstage, in the Diva's locker room, Victoria confronts Candice Michelle, telling her that she shouldn't worry about winning the Four-Corners match, because with Victoria's talent, there's no way she is going to win it. As Victoria verbally berates Candice, Mickie James comes from behind and jumps Victoria, gaining a measure of revenge for last week's attacks. The women in the room scream in horror as Mickie and Victoria claw at each other. Moments later, officials rush into the room and pull the two Divas off each other, taking Mickie out of the room.

In the parking lot, a long black limo pulls into view. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham wonder who could be inside.

Chris Masters defeated Harry Smith when H. Smith passed out in the Masterlock in 3:14.
Rating: ***

Harry Smith continued his losing ways, passing out to the unbreakable "Masterlock". The crowd was pulling for "Bulldog", but it wasn't enough to overcome Chris Masters. After the match, Masters grabbed a microphone and told Smith that just because his father was a big name during the 80s and 90s... doesn't mean that he will ever achieve that same kind of success. The crowd hated this, and let Masters have it as he looked around the Rose Garden, smiling. He then addressed the challenge issued by Tony Mamaluke last week at ECW. Masters said that he will absolutely be in Seattle tomorrow night... and can't wait to step into a hardcore environment. He then left the ring, leaving the officials to attend to Smith.

----------------------------------------------

In the back, after the commercial break, Vince McMahon and ECW World Champion Matt Striker appear from out of the limo. Striker tells Maria Kanellis that tonight, he is teaming up with Umaga, but he doesn't care who wins or loses the match. He says that his goal tonight, is to show Al Snow what he has in store for him at WrestleMania. Vince McMahon spoke up and said that Al Snow has been running away from what awaits him, having not been seen on ECW television in a couple weeks. Therefore, Vince says, Al Snow must return to ECW - starting tomorrow night, in Seattle, where Vince will have a special match in store for him.

WWE Women's Title - Four Corners - Elimination Match (VACANT):
Victoria defeated Beth Phoenix, Candice Michelle and Mickie James:
X Victora beat Mickie via a spinebuster slam in 31:43.
X Beth beat Candice via the Beth Valley Driver in 42:38.
X Victora beat Beth via the Widow's Peak in 45:38.
Rating: * ½
(Victoria won the WWE Women's Championship.)

After the match, Lita appeared on-stage, shaking her head at the newly-crowned champion. Lita tells Victoria that she may have gotten her point across when it comes to Mickie James, but Lita was in the tournament last week, too. Lita tells Victoria that she's not someone to just forget about, before leaving the stage.

Backstage, Randy Orton told Maria Kanellis that Jeff Hardy was talking out of his ass last week. Orton says that Hardy couldn't be farther from the true, to think that "The Legend Killer" wouldn't be able to defeat him later tonight. Orton says that he would pick up his second victory over Hardy... and that WWE Champion, Umaga would be better off watching this match... to see what he's going to have to face at WrestleMania.

World Tag Team Championship Match (VACANT):
Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) when Kenny made S. Gaspard submit to a side headlock in 19:24.
Rating: ** ½
(Spirit Squad won the World Tag Team Championship.)

The Spirit Squad celebrated their title victory as JTG and Shad shared words outside the ring. On the stage, the rest of the Spirit Squad joined Kenny and Mikey in celebrating the win. The crowd fails to respond to the victory, as there was no clear cut "favorite" in this match.

Moments later, in the back of the arena, Jonathon Coachman announces that the match between Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton will not be taking place. The crowd boos this announcement, but Coachman says that Orton was attacked backstage and Hardy has yet to arrive at the arena. Therefore, Coachman says, the match will take place next week in Bakersfield.

Back in the ring area, with Al Snow, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker in the ring, WWE Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada enter the ring. Estrada says that the message that Coachman just gave to the crowd was great news to his and Umaga's ears. He says that he had a plan, and Umaga was his instrument of destruction. He takes credit for the attack on Randy Orton, and says that he can't wait to see what Jeff Hardy does to him next week. But, Estrada says that since Orton has been taken out, there is still another issued to tend to: Al Snow. With that, Estrada leaves the ring and the match begins.

Matt Striker & Umaga (w/Armando Alejandro Estrada) defeated Al Snow & Jerry Lawler when Striker pinned Snow after a legsweep in 17:20.
Rating: ** ½

Matt Striker and Umaga showcased their power in this match, although the victory came on a mishap. It appeared that Al Snow's head bounced off the ring canvas, causing him to become unconscious, allowing Striker to pin him. Could this be a foreshadowing for what might take place at WrestleMania? There's a lot of time to tell.

As Hardy watched on, after the match, the WWE Champion threw Orton into the steel ring steps, causing the top section to fall off! At the urging of Armando Alejandro Estrada, Umaga set Orton in the corner... and connected with a running head smash into the bottom corner. The champion then picked up Orton and hit him with the Samoan Spike, leaving him motionless in the center of the ring. As he and AAE are standing over Orton, Hardy slides into the ring and looks at the champ. Hardy and AAE shake hands, sending a loud murmur through the Rabobank Arena.

[Lita interfered against Victoria.]

Maria picked up a huge victory over the Women's Champion... thanks to Lita. Victoria had the upper hand throughout the match, but Maria was able to get some offense in towards the end. Had it not been for Lita knocking the champ's foot off the bottom rope, there's no telling how the match would've ended. After the match, Maria was celebrating her victory as Victoria got to her feet - visibly upset. As Lita watched from the ramp, Victoria kicked Maria and executed the Widow's Peak. Monday Night Raw
February 26, 2007
Save Mart Center
Fresno, California

In the Ring:
Armando Alejandro Estrada comes to the ring with WWE Champion, Umaga, and Jeff Hardy. The crowd is still in shock at seeing these two unlikely allies standing in the same ring. Estrada has a huge smile on his face as he grabs the microphone. He tells the crowd that Jeff Hardy and the "Samoan Bulldozer" have joined forces for only one purpose: to get rid of "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton! Estrada says that the joining of the two men has stunned the fans of RAW - but that he could care less. This comment brings out Randy Orton, who says that the only reason Estrada got Hardy to back Umaga, is because he knows that Orton will walk away with the WWE title at WrestleMania. He tells Estrada that the fans don't want to see a two-on-one attack, because it only shows weakness in Estrada's "Monster". This prompts Umaga to become irate, and he's held back by Estrada as Jeff Hardy takes the mike. Hardy says that Orton's victory last week was only due to Umaga's interference... which he's fine with. Hardy challenges Orton to a Falls-Count-Anywhere match for later in the evening. Orton quickly accepts, sending a cheer through the crowd.

Backstage:
Maria is seen sitting in the Diva's locker room, when Lita walks through the door. Lita congratulates Maria for the victory last week, but before Maria can thank her, Lita stops her. Lita tells Maria that, the only reason she won last week, was because Lita has unfinished business with the Women's Champion - Victoria. Lita tells Maria that she will never be Women's Champion... because she's not good enough to hold the title. Before Maria can defend herself, Lita slaps her across the face! With a murmur going through the crowd, Lita walks out of the room, leaving Maria holding the side of her face.

Disgusted by the disturbance, Coachman tells Haas that the tag team champions haven't arrived at the arena, yet. However, he says that Johnny and Mitch are in the arena... and makes a tag match between Haas and Shelton Benjamin against Johnny and Mitch for later on in the evening.

Nicky made Jim Duggan submit to an armbar submission in 8:17.

Lita defeated Maria by disqualification in 2:17.
Rating: - ***

Maria almost won her second match in as many weeks, had the referee called Lita for the DQ - due to throwing him out of the ring after arguing a slow count. The referee saw this interaction and called the DQ on Maria. After the match, Victoria stared down Lita, inside the ring.

Interview:
Johnny and Mitch tell Todd Grisham that since Mikey and Kenny aren't at the arena tonight, that they must take matters into their own hands. They said that they are going to make The World's Greatest Tag Team's problems end very quickly... when they take them out, and keep them from facing the World Tag Team Champions. Out of nowhere, Cryme Tyme appears as Shad Gaspard tells Johnny and Mitch that the Haas & Benjamin aren't the only ones that the tag champs should be concerned about.

Non-Title Match:
Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) pinned Jerry Lawler © with the Superkick in 17:09.
Rating: * ¾

"The King" looked to have had this match won after hitting his famous Piledriver on Nitro. But, Melina became a distraction, jumping onto the apron and getting the referee's attention. This was the opening that Nitro needed, and it ultimately led to him getting a huge upset victory over the Intercontinental Champion. After the match, Nitro and Melina celebrated their victory, walking up the ramp... while, in the ring, Lawler sat, holding the side of his face, staring at them.

Interview:

Oh, that's an interesting idea. That should make for some good heat building (sorry for the pun! :P), which will make their "televised" matches a bit better.

I notice you suffer from the curse of DQ wins. You might want to edit the referees' "Latitude" option. A high number means less DQs. Also might want to change their "counts to" from 10 to 20. Less countouts that way.

Of course, you know how to book now. But just a friendly suggestion. ;) I hope you don't mind.

I also like how you show the arena at the top of the posts. That's a very nice touch. When I move my ECW shows out of the Hammerstein Ballroom, I might have to stea... borrow your idea. ;D

Oh, that's an interesting idea. That should make for some good heat building (sorry for the pun! ), which will make their "televised" matches a bit better.
I'm hoping so. And, now that I do know how to book, I plan on taking advantage it... hopefully being able to think of some good ideas when someone hits the 5-win mark.

I'll look into changing the ref's latitude count... but I might leave the counout at 10 - just to keep it current.

And, the arena idea had been something I'd wanted to do for while, but I finally got around to doing it today (adding them all).

Charlie Haas pinned JTG after a side step in 19:53.
Rating: *** 1/2

Charlie Haas and JTG were the first two members of their specific teams, trying to get on Jonathon Coachman's good side, trying to get the better shot at the World Tag Team Titles. The two men put on one hell of a match, that saw JTG escape the Haas of Pain. Monday Night Raw
March 12, 2007
Verizon Center
Washington, D.C.

RAW starts off with a video package showcasing the situation of Randy Orton being told that Johnny Nitro would be his partner in the main event. Clips from the main event are shown, followed by the scene of Nitro attacking Orton afterwards.

In the Ring:
Johnny Nitro comes down to the ring, with Melina at his side. He gets into the ring with the crowd loudly voicing their disapproval for the duo.

JN: "Washington D.C. This is just another city that I can't wait to get out of! (Crowd boos) I know you're all booing me out of jealousy. But, I also know that none of you people are going to admit it. (Crowd boos) Well, I'll do your talking for you! Every one of you saw what I did to Randy Orton last week, and you all wish you had the guts to do it, yourselves. I'm sure you're trying to find my reasoning behind what I did... well, it's very simple if you people were smart enough to figure it out! (Boos) Two months ago, I was as close as I could be to winning the Royal Rumble. That would've granted me a free pass to face Umaga at WrestleMania. But no, things didn't happen that way! (Cheers) Go ahead and cheer the fact that I was eliminated. But, you'll soon get it through your thick skulls that you are all looking at greatness! I have done nothing but work my way up to this position... and last week I sent a statement to Randy Orton. He may think he can just walk his way into the WWE Title match, but what has he done to deserve it: nothing! (Boos) I am out here tonight, to challenge Randy Orton to a Number One Contenders match... here tonight!"

The crowd cheers, hoping to bring Randy Orton to the ring. Instead, Jonathon Coachman emerges from the back, holding a microphone in-hand.

JC: "Nitro, Nitro. I know you're excited, and am wanting to get in the ring tonight. I am here to tell you... that is exactly what you are going to do. (Cheers) However, it will NOT be against Randy Orton. (Boos) No, Randy Orton will not be in the building tonight. I have decided - in my best judgement - to give him the evening off. However, Nitro, you will be stepping into the ring, in tonight's main event, against Jeff Hardy! (Mixed cheers & boos) And, to make things a little more interesting for you... if you defeat Hardy in that ring, tonight... then, next week, you will GET your Number One Contenders match against Randy Orton.

Coachman exits the stage, leaving Nitro & Melina standing in the ring.

**COMMERCIALS**

"Bulldog" Harry Smith pinned Val Venis with the Stampede Powerslame in 11:36.
Rating: *** 1/2

Smith & Venis put on a great opening match this evening! Venis came in this week, trying to avenge his loss to Viscera seven days ago. However, the younger, stronger "Bulldog" was able to use those traits to lead him to victory. This match also gave Smith his first victory on RAW.

Backstage:
Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin confront Jonathon Coachman in his office.

SB: "Yo, Coach!
JC: "Shelton, what can I do for you two this evening?"
CH: "Listen. Last week, you told us that you were going to make a decision on who's going to challenge for the World Tag Team titles at WrestleMania..."
SB: "... and we're here to make sure that team is us!"
JC: "Chuck, Shelton... I have to say, I was impressed with your matches last week. However, I was a little more impressed with your opponent's. (Haas & Benjamin turn to look at each other) So, my decision is: at WrestleMania, Cryme Tyme will face The Spirit Squad for the World Tag Team Titles. Yet, tonight, you two will be in action against The Highlanders. Now, if you don't mind, I have a lot of business to attend to..."

Angrily, Haas & Benjamin storm out of the office as Coachman smiles. The scene changes to the Diva's locker room where Mickie James is shown, getting ready for her match. Lita appears, confronting her.

Lita: "Hey, Mickie... I just wanted to make sure that everything is OK."
MJ: "Yeah, sure. Why wouldn't everything be OK?"
Lita: "Well, we all saw what you did last week. I just want to make sure that your head's on straight. I don't want Victoria to get a big head before WrestleMania."
MJ: "Oh, Lita, you have nothing to worry about! I think I just got frustrated last week. I can assure you that it won't happen again."

Lita nods her in mock satisfaction before walking out of the locker room, heading towards the stage.

Returning from commercials, Todd Grisham is standing backstage with Cryme Tyme.

TG: "Shad, JTG... it was announced, just moments ago, that Jonathon Coachman has granted you two a shot at the Tag Team Titles... in two weeks, at WrestleMania. How do you two feel about that?"
SG: (As he begins to speak, JTG is seen looking at a watch on Todd's wrist) Well, dawg, this is the greatest night for Cryme Tyme since coming to the WWE! Your boys, Cryme Tyme, have started off on the bottom of the ranks, dawg! But, as you were told tonight, we're now the second best team on RAW. But, that's all gonna change at WrestleMania! Cryme Tyme is going to walk out of Detroit, Michigan as the NEW World Tag Team Champions! Holla!"

Gaspard and JTG walk away from Grisham with smiles on their faces. The scene fades as Grisham begins to notice his watch is missing.

Beth Phoenix & Victoria defeated Lita & Mickie James when Victoria pinned Lita after a sidewalk slam in 6:27.
Rating: * 1/2

The pep talk before the match seemed to be uneffective as Victoria pinned Lita to pick up the win. Could this finish be a preview of what takes places at WresteleMania in two weeks?

Backstage:
In the Spirit Squad's locker room, Nicky is seen getting pacing around. Kenny & Mikey are sitting in steel chairs, against the wall.

Kenny: "So, Nicky, you're not at all worried about this match with Edge?"
Nicky: "Absolutely not! I mean, I've got more ring experience in the last couple weeks, and plus.. I'm just an overall better athlete! It should be a proven fact that I'm going to walk out of here tonight with a shot at Lawler at WrestleMania!"

Nicky stretches quickly and leaves the room as RAW goes to commercials.

The Highlanders (Robbie & Rory McAlister) defeated The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) (w/Mama Benjamin) when Robbie defeated C. Haas by disqualification in 4:24.

After the match, Shelton Benjamin looked dumbfounded at Haas before leaving the ring and joing up with Mama. Inside the ring, Haas glared at referee Nick Patrick before leaving the ring, as well. It's clear to assume that Haas was letting out his frustration towards Jonathon Coachman in this match... but, however, it cost his team the win.

Backstage:
Armando Alejandro Estrada and Umaga are seen standing in the parking lot of the arena.

AAE: "Listen, Umaga. Tonight, we only have one special task that was asked for us specifically by Mr. Coachman. All we have to do tonight... haha... is make sure that Randy Orton does NOT step foot into this arena! I know you can handle that, can't you?"

Umaga grunts and screams loudly in Samoan as Estrada smiles, leaving the scene.

JTG pinned Kenny with the Flying Splash in 34:12.
Rating: *** 3/4

From the reaction of the crowd, this was the best match of the evening. So entertaining, in fact, that the referee failed to catch the 20 minute time limit, signaling for the bell at 24:00. However, noticing the crowd's reaction, the referee allowed the match to continue. The extre 10 minutes allowed JTG to pick up the victory over one half of the Tag Team Champions heading into WrestleMania in 13 days!

Maria: "Johnny Nitro, tonight, you are facing Jeff Hardy for the chance to take on Randy Orton next week, in a Number One Contenders match..."
Melina: "Maria, I think now is the time that you need to shut up! My man knows what's at stake tonight. He knows that he has to defeat Jeff Hardy, and that's exactly what he's going to do! My man - Johnny Nitro - is going go out there, get his shot at Orton, and then next week... the hottest man in the WWE will become the new Number One Contender!"
JN: "You see, it's simple, Maria. Take a look at my two prospected opponents. Tonight, you have Jeff Hardy... who the only reason he's being kept around Umaga, is so the big idiot doesn't have to fight me by himself. I know I'm better then Jeff Hardy, because I have more charisma in my hand then he will ever have! I also know that tonight, I'm going to do the same thing that Randy Orton has done on three seperate occassions. I'm going to make an example out of Jeff Hardy!"

Nitro and Melina walk away as Maria stands alone, confused...

Edge (w/Lita) pinned Nicky with the Spear in 8:17.
Rating: ** 3/4

Edge proved that he wanted this victory more then the Spirit Squad member. Surprisingly, Lita didn't play a bigger role in this match, as she spent most of the time looking behind her back for a possible attack from Victoria. However, Edge didn't need any assistance as he earned his place as the Number One Contender for the IC Title at WrestleMania.

Backstage:
RAW returns from commercials as Umaga is shown, standing in front of the entrance to the arena. As he's walking around, the crowd begins to cheer as Randy Orton appears on camera. WWE officials rush to the scene and break up the battle as the crowd begins to boo. They escort Orton out of the parking lot as Umaga stands there, grunting.

Monday Night Raw
March 19, 2007
Conseco Fieldhouse
Indianapolis, Indiana

In The Ring:
WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon's music begins to play as the boss starts off the program, coming out to the ring with a microphone. He is dressed in a grey suit. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction, and he just smirks as he walks around the ring.

VM: "I can hear that some of you tonight don't care to see me here in Indianapolis. To those people, I say that you have no one to blame but yourselves! You were the ones that bought the tickets. You all know that this is my company... and I can show up on any show I want, any day I want. So, if you are insistant on booing me, go right ahead. All that matters is that at the end of the night, I will sleep better at night knowing that i have more money in my pocket then any of you will make in your entire lives! (crowd boos, Vince smiles) For all the others that know their roles and have kept their mouths shut... I am out here for a reason, tonight. We are just 13 days away from WrestleMania - the biggest event of the year! It's going to be the first one we've ever put together, and I can guarantee everyone here that is is going to be bigger than the SuperBowl! I have decided to make sure WrestleMania is bigger then any other pay-per-view you see, because on April 1st, Detroit, Michigan will be celebrating a "Night of Champions". Every title that is held within the WWE will be defended on this night. However, there will be an additional match added: a golden opportunity for the man who is able to win it. (Crowd murmurs) At WrestleMania, there will be a 6-man Battle Royal. On the line, will be a contract for a guaranteed title match of the winner's choosing, that can be used at anytime over the next six months. (Crowd perks up) The six men will be choosen from all three brands, and the selection starts tonight. The first two particpants, battling for a spot in the Golden Opportunity Match from RAW are: Charlie Haas and Johnny."

Vince abruptly ends his speech after announcing the two participants and leaves the ring. The crowd is stunned as McMahon makes his way to the back. As the scene fades, Randy Orton is seen entering the Conseco Fieldhouse...

Carlito defeated Triple H when Triple H passed out in a figure-four leglock in 7:02.
Rating: *** 1/2

Carlito and "The Game" came out and stole the show, surprising every one in attendance. Carlito was quite cocky and full of himself in the beginning, taking an opening to spit apple in the face of Triple H. Halfway through, Carlito toughened up and showed the Indy crowd what he is capable of. These two men set the bar very high tonight, and the crowd let them know it. After the match, Triple H was in pain, holding his knee as he was helped to the back by the referee.

Backstage:
In the back, Shelton Benjamin is seen talking with Mama as Charlie Haas enters the locker room...

MB: "Oh, Charlie!" (Grabs Haas and gives him a hug)
CH: (Shocked) "What's going on?"
SB: "Man, Chuck... Vince just announced a six man Battle Royal for WrestleMania. Tonight, is the first qualifying match, and you're in it!" (Slaps Haas on the back)
CH: "Are you serious?"
SB: "Yeah... and you're going against Johnn from the Spirit Squad. Man, you've got this match handed to you! And, if you win the match at WrestleMania, you get a guaranteed title match anytime you want it... over the next six months."
MB: "This is your chance to finally go to WrestleMania!"
SB: "Yeah, man! Screw Cryme Tyme! Put that behind you and focus on tonight. If anything man, I wanna watch you get yourself a title shot."

Haas and Benjamin pat each other on the back as the scene fades...

Interview:
... standing with Todd Grisham, Randy Orton is dressed in a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt...

TG: "Randy Orton, last week Umaga tried everything he could to keep you out of the main event between Johnny Nitro and Jeff Hardy. However, you were able to insert yourself, and the match was deemed a double disqualification. Now, tonight, Jeff Hardy has been added to your match with Nitro, making it a Triple Threat Match for the chance to face Umaga at WrestleMania. What are your thoughts?"
RO: "What are my thoughts on having Jeff Hardy added to this match, tonight? Todd, I could give a rat's ass if Hardy is in this match! It's well known that Jeff Hardy is no match for me. I've proven that time and time again over the last three months! I know he's in this match for one reason: to make sure that I don't get a one on one shot at Umaga. Unfortunately, for him, that's exactly what's going to happen! I've worked my ass off for the last few weeks to get where I am. I am not going to have that taken away by a technicality. Tonight, I'm taking what is rightfully mine... and at WrestleMania, I will become the WWE Champion!"

Orton storms off as the scene fades...

Beth Phoenix defeated Maria via pinfall in 1:02.
Rating: -** 3/4
[Melina no-showed.]

This match was originally signed to take place between Melina and Maria, after their confrontation backstage, last week. However, Melina was unable to make it to the ring... for reasons that are unknown. However, Beth Phoenix took Melina's place and made short work of her opponent. After the match, Beth left the ring as Maria was slow to get to her feet.

Backstage:
Lita and Edge are seen in the back, watching Maria get helped out of the ring. They are both dressed in street clothes. Intercontinental Champion, Jerry "The King" Lawler approaches Edge. He glances at Lita and smiles as Lita gives him a questioning look. Lawler turns his attention back to Edge...
JL: "Edge, I just wanted to congradulate you on your win last week. You've been impressive the last couple weeks. But, I've got something you don't, Edge: experience. You might have gotten by Nicky last week, but you're chances at WrestleMania are nowhere near as good. Just remember that."

Lawler walks away from Edge as he stares in the direction of his opponent. As the camera zooms in closer to Edge's face, Lita is attacked from behind by Victoria! The Women's Champion grabs Lita by the hair and brings her crashing down to the ground. Edge is quick to turn around pulls Victora off of Lita, but not before the champ conncets with a vicious boot to the midsection. Edge pushes Victoria away from Lita...

Edge: "Get the hell away from her... NOW!"

Officials escort Victoria to the back as she is heard laughing, manically. Edge bends down beside Lita, who is coughing - gasping for air - from the attack...In the locker room, Armando Estrada and Jeff Hardy are seen talking to one another...

AE: "Jeff, tonight you have the chance to redeem yourself against Randy Orton. All you have to do, is make sure his hand is not raised at the end of the evening. If either you or Johnny Nitro come up victorious, Umaga and I will both be very happy. I think we all agree that Randy Orton does NOT deserve to be the Number One Contender. So, tonight ha ha, you will have the chance to make sure he understands that!"
JH: "To tell you the truth, Armando, I don't care about whether I win this match or not. But, I will do ANYTHING I can to make sure I don't lose to Randy Orton, again."

Hardy leaves the locker room as RAW goes to commercials...

(Edge smiles sadistically) Well, let me tell you something, King... next week, I don't give a DAMN what condition you or Victoria are in! I want you two in a tag team match with myself and Lita! Next week, we'll show you who's better... and who will come out on top next Sunday night at WrestleMania!"

Edge storms away as the camera slowly zooms in on a still-dazed Lita.

TG: "First off, Melina... everyone has been wondering: why were you unable to compete in your match this evening?"
Melina: "I don't think that is any of your business, Todd! I'm not here to talk about my match, or why I didn't show up! I have my reasons, and that's all you need to know!"
(Melina huffs and crosses her arms at her chest.)
TG: "OK. Then, that would bring us to Johnny Nitro. Nitro, tonight, you are stepping into the ring with both Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton. All three of you are..."
JN: "I know, I know! We're all fighting for one thing: a shot at Umaga and the WWE Title. Todd, I've been thinking about this match all week long! There's no possibility that hasn't crossed my mind. I know that Jeff Hardy doesn't stand a chance in this match, because I proved to him last week... he's no match for me. That only leaves me with facing Randy Orton, one on one. This is the match people have paid to see; Jeff Hardy is just the side show, tonight. It's all about Orton and Nitro... and tonight, I'm finally going to show him what I've been wanting to for a few weeks now: Randy Orton may call himself "The Legend Killer", but I'm the real star of this show! And soon, I'll be the next WWE Champion!"

Nitro & Melina leave the scene as the camera goes back to the ring.

Charlie Haas defeated Johnny by disqualification in 14:59.

These two men were fighting for their chance to get a spot in the biggest show of the year: the "Night of Champions" that Vince McMahon has called WrestleMania. Monday Night Raw
March 26, 2007
Allstate Arena
Chicago, Illinois

The show begins as WWE Champion, Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada come to the ring. Estrada says that in six days, Randy Orton will realize that all his trouble of trying to get to the main event will be worthless, because Umaga will not lose the WWE Title Sunday, at WrestleMania. This gets interrupted as Orton comes to the ring and gets into Umaga's face before asking if all he's done is truly worthless. Orton sucker-punches Estrada, knocking him out of the ring, before he and Umaga begin a full-out brawl in the center of the ring! Officials rush down and attempt to break up the battle, but to no avail. Jonathon Coachman comes to the stage and announces that if they don't break up the fight, there will be no WWE Title match at WrestleMania! After everything calms down, Coachman announces that both Orton and Umaga will be in singles action tonight. He says that Orton will be taking on the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title - Edge, as Umaga will be taking on the IC Champ - Jerry Lawler - in a non-title match. As Coachman leaves, Orton and Umaga eye each other.

[hr]

After the break, Vince McMahon graced the audience in Chicago with his presence - through a taped message - announcing the three participants in tonight's Triple Threat Qualifier for the "Golden Opportunity" match at WrestleMania. Vince announces that: Johnny Nitro, Balls Mahoney - from Extreme Championship Wrestling - and Chris Benoit - from Smackdown - will try to earn the fourth spot in the final match this Sunday night.

(1) Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Johnny & Mitch (Spirit Squad)

These two teams were coming into this match, hoping to get themselves on the right track, by picking up their first victory. Both teams came out swinging, trying to put the match away early, with many near-falls within the first four minutes! Cade and Murdoch were able to connect with the High-Low, but Johnny was quick enough to break up the two-count. However, after the initial burst of energy, Johnny and Mitch slowed down, as Cade and Murdoch were able to take the advantage from them. Murdoch had Johnny by surprise with the Top-Rope Bulldog for the win.

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated Johnny & Mitch when Murdoch pinned Johnny with the Top-Rope Bulldog in 12:51.
Rating: ** ½

Randy Orton is in the back, talking to Todd Grisham about facing Edge tonight and his thoughts on WrestleMania. Orton says that tonight, Edge is just one more obstacle in his way before getting to Umaga Sunday night. He says that the crowd in Chicago is going to see that everything he's done for the past few weeks will not be worthless. Orton says that the next six nights are going to be hell for him, as he can do nothing but look forward to winning the WWE Championship. Out of nowhere, Umaga jumps Orton, sending him crashing to the ground in pain. Umaga grunts something and screams in Samoan before leaving.

[hr]

(2) Maria vs. © Victoria (non-title match)

Maria came into this match as the home-town favorite, being from Chicago. However, Victoria came into this match with nothing more then fury and a will to hurt whoever stepped in her way. Unfortunately, for Maria, tonight was her night. Early in the match, Maria took the fight outside, hoping to gain a small advantage over her opponent, using everything from the guardrail to the ringsteps. Yet, nothing had too much of an effect on Victoria. Maria gave it all she had in this match, but her lack of ring presence was no match for that of the Women's Champion. Victoria connected with the Widow's Peak on the outside of the ring, and picked up the victory.

Victoria defeated Maria by countout in 15:48.
Rating: -3/4*

Backstage, Todd Grisham interviews Johnny Nitro. Nitro says that he had his chance to become #1 Contender for the WWE Title last week, but lost to Randy Orton. He said that he was fine with that, because tonight he's going to earn his way back to WrestleMania. Grisham then asks about Nitro's opponents. Nitro says that Balls Mahoney hasn't done anything of importance in ECW, and that Chris Benoit's last big match was against The Undertaker at No Way Out - a match that he lost. Nitro says that he's the biggest star in this match, and that the biggest star always gets the reward.

Elsewhere, Edge and Lita talk about Edge's match against Randy Orton. Edge tells Lita not to worry about a thing. He says that Randy Orton is talking out his ass, if he thinks he can beat Edge tonight. He says that tonight, he was going to beat Randy Orton... then move on to WrestleMania and become the new Intercontinental Champion.

[hr]

(3) Edge (w/Lita) vs. Randy Orton

Both Edge and Orton came out with a point to prove to their respective opponents for WrestleMania. Midway through the match, Orton was upset over what he thought was a slow-count, and he threw the referee out of the ring! To the shock of the crowd in Chicago, the referee let the match continue. However, as "The Legend Killer" was going for a clothesline, Edge pulled the already-battered referee in the way! This time, the official had had enough, and called for the bell.

Randy Orton defeated Edge by disqualification in 17:11.
Rating: *** 1/4

Backstage, after the match, Jerry Lawler tells Todd Grisham that, if Edge wants to win the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania, he has to stray away from his cheap antics. He says that Edge can't win the title by disqualifying himself, but that he will have to actually wrestle "The King" this Sunday night. Lawler says that he will do whatever it takes to walk out of Detroit as the IC Champion... just like he'll do whatever it takes to walk out tonight with a victory over Umaga.

Shelton Benjamin confronts Charlie Haas in the locker room. He tells Haas that the disqualification two weeks ago was crap. He tells Haas that he wants him to make up for it... and to apologize, because not only did he give them a loss, he further screwed their chances of getting a World Tag Team Title shot. Haas says that he was sorry for the DQ, and that he will go out and prove himself, tonight.

[hr]

Charlie Haas comes out to the ring and tells the crowd that that he did, in fact, apologize for his actions two weeks ago. But, he says, that last week he did more than prove himself, by getting the first spot in the "Golden Opportunity" Battle Royal Sunday at WrestleMania. But, he says that since he's come out here, he will go ahead and prove - once again - what he is capable of. Haas issues an open challenge to anyone in the RAW locker room. Haas, and the Chicago crowd - are shocked when ECW's The Big Show answers the call.

(4) Charlie Haas vs. The Big Show

The first two entries into the "Golden Opportunity" match faced off in an impromptu match tonight. The Big Show gave Charlie Haas more then he was looking for; not giving him any chance to prove himself, like he had claimed he was going to. The Big Show held the advantage through most of the match, and it showed in his decisive victory.

The Big Show pinned Charlie Haas with the Showstopper in 15:06.

Cryme Tyme is with Todd Grisham, backstage. Shad Gaspard tells Todd that this Sunday at WrestleMania, he and JTG are going to leave "da Hood" of Detroit as the new World Tag Team Champions. He says that two thugs from Brooklyn aren't afraid of two male cheerleaders who don't stand a chance against Cryme Tyme, Sunday night. JTG says that not only are they going to take the titles... but they will take whatever else they want from the Spirit Squad.

(5) © Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. © Umaga (w/Armando Estrada) (non-title match)

It was the last chance for either one of these two title holders to get in the ring before WrestleMania this Sunday night. Shockingly, the veteran - Lawler - took the fight to the WWE Champion, keeping the advantage for most of the match-up. Even with Edge and Randy Orton at ringside, both champs kept their attention on tonight's opponents. Edge, standing outside, felt that he wasn't becoming a big enough problem for the Intercontinental Champion, so he slid into the ring and broke up the three-count, disqualifying Umaga and giving "The King" the victory.

Monday Night Raw
April 2, 2007
Nutter Center
Dayton, Ohio

New WWE Champion, Randy Orton, starts off the program by coming out to the ring with the WWE Title over his shoulder. He says that last night two things happened that have made his like better since he started in World Wrestling Entertainment. He says that first, winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania was the greatest feat in his career, and that he is going to be the most dominate champion RAW has seen. He says that the second thing was hearing that, last night, Umaga did not say a contract, but Armando Estrada did. Orton says that, it doesn't really matter to him, because as he proved at WrestleMania, he can handle "The Samoan Bulldozer". This brings out Elijah Burke, who shocks the crowd by his appearance. Burke says that, last night, at WrestleMania, he should've been the one to win the "Golden Opportunity" battle royal. He says that since Charlie Haas "copped" out and didn't sign a contract, he sees himself as the only viable Number One Contender on RAW. Burke says that, if Orton wants to claim to be the most dominate champion on RAW, then he will put the title on the line at Backlash. Burke leaves the stage as Orton stares on, in the ring.

(1) Vito vs. The Miz

The first match after the contract signing consisted of two men signed from the Smackdown brand, last night. The former reality TV star - The Miz - and Vito gave the crowd a very good opening match, spending good amounts of time both in the ring and out. Outside the ring, The Miz showed his tenacity, throwing Vito into everything imaginable at ringside. However, he was unable to capitalize on his actions. The tide in the match turned, when Vito was able to block The Miz's offense. After going on the offensive, Vito himself went for the pin. Thinking he had a three-count, Vito became visibly upset... throwing Earl Hebner over the top rope! However, much to the dismay of the crowd, the referee did not call the DQ! Vito also found himself with another near fall as he had The Miz locked into the Dress Code for almost 30 seconds... however, after that, the match was totally in Vito's hands.

Vito pinned The Miz after a Gorilla Press in 14:49.
Rating: *** ½

In the back, Intercontinental Champion, Jerry "The King" Lawler tells Todd Grisham that last night, on the biggest stage of the year, he defeated Edge to retain the IC Title. "The King" says that Edge must've been so disappointed with himself that neither he nor Lita signed contracts to come back to RAW, and that by those actions, it proves that Lawler is going to be Intercontinental Champion for quite some time. But, out of nowhere, Jamie Noble attacks "The King" from behind, knocking him down to the ground and punching Lawler until officials rush in and break up the brawl. Noble is escorted off as an EMT tends to "The King".

Also, in the back, Chris Masters is with Maria. Maria asks Masters why he signed his contract to come back to RAW. "The Masterpiece" says that he decided to come back to RAW because, during his time in ECW, he accomplished what he set out to do: get payback on Tony Mamaluke for his actions a few weeks ago. Masters says that, now that his business with Mamaluke is finished, he can concentrate more on what needs to be taken care of on RAW. When asked what he means, Masters tells Maria that everyone will figure it out when he does.

(2) Ace Steel vs. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels came into this match having seen only sparse work over the past few months. Ace Steel saw his first action just last Friday on Smackdown, before signing a contract with the RAW brand. These two came in wanting to prove their worth, and "The Heartbreak Kid" jumped out to an early lead. Michaels found himself getting plenty of near-falls in the beginning of the match, until Steel found a small hole and staged a comeback - even eliciting surprise cheers from the Dayton crowd. However, the tide quickly turned back to Michaels as he connected with a superplex. Just moments later Michaels connected with a superkick but, oddly, didn't go for the pin! He connected with a rana but only got a two count. The match ended soon after that near fall as Michaels landed Sweet Chin Music for the pin.

Shawn Michaels pinned Ace Steel with the Sweet Chin Music in 9:00
Rating: ** ½

Backstage, Jamie Noble says that his actions moments earlier were all part of his plan to show Jerry Lawler that he is the rightful person to earn a shot at Backlash. Lawler breaks up the interview and says that Noble is making the wrong first impression on RAW. Lawler says he wants to fight Noble tonight! Noble says the only way he's going to get into the ring with Lawler is if he puts the IC Title on the line. This brings in Jonathon Coachman who informs Noble that things are done differently on RAW then on Smackdown. Coachman says that, if Noble wants a shot at Lawler's IC title, he will have to earn it, like everyone else. Coachman says that, up next, Noble will be facing Robbie McAlister... and if Noble wins, then at Backlash, he will face Lawler for the IC Title.

(3) Jamie Noble vs. Robbie McAlister

New RAW signee, Jamie Noble faced-off against the first-ever Intercontinental Champion in his first match with his new brand. Noble had a lot on his mind as he was trying to make a statement to Jerry "The King" Lawler; hoping to earn his spot as the #1 Contender for the IC Title. McAlister put up a valiant effort but was taken down early on with a vicious spinebuster which only got Noble a two-count. Frustrated, Noble threw referee Mike Chioda over the top rope! But, what seems to be an on-going theme as of lately, the referee did NOT call for the disqualification! Noble's ire began to unravel his plans for victory as McAlister was able to connect with a thunderous double underhook power bomb... but Noble kicked out just before the three count! Later on in the match, with Noble have his way with his opponent, McAlister fought through the pain of the Dragon Sleeper, escaping the hold after almost 30 seconds; and with a sudden burst of energy, took advantage of a visibly distraught Noble to connect with another double underhook power bomb! However, towards the end of the match, with both men having fought through amounts of pain, Noble was able to hoist Robbie up and connect with a powerslam for the win.

Jamie Noble pinned Robbie McAlister after a powerslam in 18:22.
Rating: ***

Backstage, WWE Women's Champion, Victoria tells Maria that last night at WrestleMania, she kept her promise, beating Lita and retaining the Women's Title. Victoria says that she now plans on being champion for a very, very long time... after seeing that only Ashley and Kelly Kelly signed RAW contracts last night. Victoria then issues a challenge to either one of the two Diva's to a non-title match, next week.

(4) Elijah Burke vs. Chris Masters

Chris Masters was welcomed back to RAW with a match against the self-proclaimed Number One Contender for the WWE title: Elijah Burke. This match was interesting from the start as WWE Champion, Randy Orton made his way to ringside right after the start. The match was a typical "big man" match as both Burke and Masters tried to wear down their opponents using their strength. Masters was able to lock on a bearhug in the center of the ring, but Burke escaped after a long 15 seconds! Soon after that, Orton made his presence known as he pulled down the top rope, sending Burke crashing to the outside, and forcing the referee to call for the DQ. After the match, Orton just stares down at Burke and telling him that Burke has no chance of becoming WWE Champion.

Elijah Burke defeated Chris Masters by disqualification in 8:48.
Rating: * ¾
[Randy Orton interfered against Elijah Burke.]

Coming back from commercials, Randy Orton is with Todd Grisham, who asks why Orton did what he did in the last match. Orton tells Todd that as WWE Champion, he knows that there are going to be a lot of head games being played. He says that Elijah Burke claims to be the Number One Contender and feels that he should be given a chance. However, it's clear that he wasn't worthy enough on Smackdown to even place in the "Golden Opportunity" match last night. But, Orton says that, because he's going to take on all comers, it doesn't matter of Burke was in the match or not last night. Orton says that, what he did just moments ago, was nothing but his way of telling Burke that if he wants the WWE title, he'll have his work cut out for him.

(5) © Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Rex Butler (w/Missy) (non-title match)

Rex Butler made his RAW debut also tonight, taking on the Intercontinental Champion in a non-title match. Lawler got things started off with a vertical suplex followed by a reverse neckbreaker that only got a two-count. However, while dazed Butler was able to duck a clothesline and hit Lawler with a Gorilla Press! Butler only got a 2-count, as well. Rex was in the driver's seat after that, hitting a suplex, backbreaker and piledriver in consecutive moves! Yet, the veteran came back after blocking a punch to connect with another vertical suplex. Somehow though, later in the match, Butler found enough energy to hit two backbreakers in a row before throwing Lawler to the outside of the ring. On the outside, Missy interfered with Lawler on two separate occasions, taking his mind off the match at hand. And, in a weird portion of the match, Rex Butler brought a table into the ring! It was never actually used, but was thought to be more of a distraction for "the King" as it came Butler enough time to hit the Wicked Sensation for the upset victory!

Rex Butler pinned Jerry Lawler with the Wicked Sensation in 13:38.

Hass not resigning with Raw, I guess he's going to try to take Kahli for the World title with hs "Golden Opportunity". Masters classic answer whn asked why he's back in Raw "You'll find out when I do" I almost fell out my seat. As always he has no clue. I see a long run in Orton's future, I hope in this WWE that Spinner shit on the belt is not there, Orton deserves a classic WWE title. maybe the winged Eagle from the late 80's. Good card can't wait to see who shows up on ECW and Smackdown.

As of right now, my plans for Charlie Haas aren't "solid" yet. But he does have until September to make his mark - where, I don't know. As for Masters: all I can say is, it was late and I had no idea what to put right there (lol!). And, as for the WWE Title: no, there is no "spinner" belt as John Cena hasn't won the title (or signed a contract) **spoiler**. The belt that Orton has is the WWE Title from '02-'05 (the slimmer verison).

Monday Night Raw
April 9, 2007
Arena @ Harbor Yard
Bridgeport, Connecticut

The show starts off with a recap of last week's showing, highlighting the match between Elijah Burke and Chris Masters as WWE Champion, Randy Orton interfered against Burke, causing the disqualification. The scene fades away as Orton stands over Burke, staring at him.

Elijah Burke is shown, standing in the center of the ring with the crowd booing in unison. He tells the crowd that last week Randy Orton tried to play his own mind game, trying to get inside Burke's head. He says that he isn't going to let anything like that effect his chances of getting the WWE Title at Backlash. Burke says he was held back from Day One while he was on Smackdown; that no one would give him the chance to showcase what he could do inside the ring. He says that he signed with RAW because he knew he was going to make something of himself by coming over to Monday nights. However, he says, he's beginning to notice some similarities between the way Jonathon Coachman and Teddy Long run things. He says that tonight, he has been signed to face Bobby Lashley; a man he has fought and beaten twice before on Smackdown! He says tonight is going to be no different... but Burke gets cut off as Chris Masters comes down to the ring. Masters says that he's not going to put what happened last week behind him. He tells that crowd that he has come out to the ring to demand a rematch against Elijah Burke, no matter if he fights Bobby Lashley or not! The two men stare each other down until RAW General Manager, Jonathon Coachman appears on-stage. He says that Chris Masters will be in action, but it will not be against Elijah Burke, but against WWE Champion, Randy Orton in a non-title match.

Backstage, Kelly Kelly and Ashley discuss which one of them should take up Victoria's offer for the Women's Title Match later tonight. The two Diva's hug as Ashley heads to the locker room to get ready.

(1) Robbie McAlister vs. Triple H

Triple H and Robbie McAlister were sent to warm up the crowd this evening, and in under ten minutes, they were able to do exactly that. McAlister found himself with the early advantage and got himself a couple near-falls. But, he just wasn't able to put Triple H away. "The Game" found his opening and connected with the Pedigree for the victory.

Rating: ** ½

Backstage, Jamie Noble tells Maria that he's already said he wants to make a lasting first impression on RAW... and with each passing week, that impression seems easier and easier to make. He says that, watching Rex Butler beat and pin Jerry Lawler last week, gave him all the motivation he needed to make sure he walks out of Backlash as the new Intercontinental Champion.

[hr]

Bobby Lashley is stopped in the hallway by Todd Grisham, who asks for a response about Elijah Burke's comments at the beginning of the show. Lashley says that yes, Burke has gotten the best of him in the past. But, Lashley reiterates, that was the past. He says that a lot of people came to RAW from Smackdown, looking to make a new start for themselves... and he's one of them. He uses Burke as an example, and who he's already found himself in the title picture. However, Lashley says that tonight, Burke's goal of winning the title will be put on hold for one night.

(2) Ashley vs. © Victoria (WWE Women's Title Match)

Last week, Women's Champion Victoria demanded a match against an opponent worthy of a title match. This week, she found what she was looking for in the most unlikely person - former Smackdown Diva, Ashley. Ashley gave everything she had in this match and took everything that Victoria gave in response. For the most part of the match, the champ was in control, and Ashley could never find a position to change the tide which led to a successful title defense for Victoria.

Chris Masters was backstage, with Maria, saying that last week, Randy Orton cost him a victory over Elijah Burke. But, he says, tonight, Orton will have no where to run once Masters steps into the ring. Masters says that he came back to RAW to make a name for himself, just like all the others who signed contracts. But, he says, that not all of them will have chances to make their statements against the WWE Champion... which is exactly what he will do, later tonight.

[hr]

(3) Bobby Lashley vs. Elijah Burke

Bobby Lashley claimed that things were going to be different for him since he joined RAW last week, and that his losing streak to Elijah Burke would finally come to an end. Elijah Burke came into this match, having recalled all his past victories over Lashley, and claiming that tonight would be no different. Tonight's match against these two was even throughout it's entirety. However, the Number One Contender found a chance and connected with his inverted facebuster for yet, another victory over Bobby Lashley.

Elijah Burke pinned Bobby Lashley after a vertical facebuster in 15:55.

Backstage, WWE Champion, Randy Orton is told by Todd Grisham about the main event tonight against Chris Masters. He then tells Orton what Masters said about him earlier in the evening. Orton says that last week, he didn't screw Chris Masters out of a victory. He was sending a message to Elijah Burke. But, tonight, Orton says...if Chris Masters is wanting to make a big deal out of something that's not important, Orton is ready to make Masters fight for his revenge. Orton says that he has nothing against Masters, until tonight. Orton says that, tonight, Chris Masters will realize why he is the WWE Champion.

Intercontinental Champion, Jerry Lawler is at the ringside announce table, with a message to Jamie Noble. Lawler says that his loss last week to Rex Butler was nothing but a fluke; something that can happen to anyone, anywhere. Lawler says the only thing that should matter, is that he is going to be champion come Backlash... and he will walk out of Atlanta with the title around his waist.

(4) Chris Masters vs. © Randy Orton (non-title match)

Chris Masters had said all evening that he wanted to get revenge on Randy Orton for causing him the match against Elijah Burke last week. Masters got the victory, but now in the way he wanted. Elijah Burke had made his way to ringside, once again trying to play games with the WWE Champion. However, moments later, Roughhouse O'Reilly made his way down to ringside, shocking everyone in attendance. O'Reilly was first to strike, sending Masters to the outside of the ring. This action got him tossed from ringside before Masters really knew what happened. Randy Orton, however, did not escape the assault, either. A few moments after being banished from ringside, O'Reilly made his presence known, once more, as he tried to through a weapon to Orton. It was caught, instead, by Masters who used it on Orton, but was not disqualified. Yet, after seeing his miscue, O'Reilly entered the ring and attacked Masters with a chair, giving him the DQ victory. As the bell sounded, and the WWE Champion looked on in shock, Elijah Burke entered the ring and connected with a vertical facebuster! RAW went off the air with O'Reilly and Burke standing over their respective victims.

Monday Night Raw
April 16, 2007
Datchforum
Milan, Italy

WWE Champion, Randy Orton starts the program, by coming out to the ring with the title over his shoulder. He tells the Italian crowd that last week's loss to Chris Masters should not give anyone the idea that he doesn't deserve the WWE Title. Orton says that last week, he had nothing to do with how the match went down because he was too busy trying to fend off Elijah Burke. He says that, the fact that Chris Masters was attacked, was out of his hands. This brings out Masters to the ring, who demands to get answers from Roughhouse O'Reilly for what took place last week. Orton and Masters stood, waiting in the ring, until General Manager Jonathon Coachman appears on-stage. Coachman says that, unfortunately, Roughhouse O'Reilly has yet to sign a contract with either brand... and that his actions as of late have been taken into consideration by the board of directors. He tells Orton and Masters that tonight they will be in tag team action against Elijah Burke and Rob Conway.

Backstage, after the commercial break, Randy Orton confronts Chris Masters. Orton tells Masters that last week, had it not been for O'Reilly interfering, the match would've been Orton's. Orton tells Masters not to screw anything up and walks away.

In an interview with Maria, WWE Women's Champion, Victoria says that last week, she proved that there is no competition in the Women's Division on RAW. She says that Ashley was a pathetic excuse for an opponent and had no chance of winning this title to begin with. Kelly Kelly appears and says she knows Victoria is more conditioned and has more history inside the ring... but that she wants to challenge Victoria for the title, next week. Victoria says that she will gladly do to Kelly, what she did to Ashley last week, before slapping Kelly across the face and walking away.

COMMERCIALS

After the commercial break, Todd Grisham finds Roughhouse O'Reilly backstage... much to the surprise of the crowd. He asks O'Reilly about this actions last week against RAW and about his reasons for not signing a contract with a brand, yet. O'Reilly says that last week he wanted to send a message to Chris Masters; the man who came over to ECW, claiming that he had done everything he could do on RAW... and wanted to take over his new territory. Yet, Masters has signed a contract with RAW - yet again - because he realized he couldn't cut it in the land of extreme. O'Reilly says that Chris Masters wasn't his only victim last week, as he tells Todd about the attack on Rob Conway on Smackdown. As for not signing a contract, yet, O'Reilly says he's just waiting for the right moment to officially make an impact in one of the three brands. He promises Todd that the show he chooses will find out in due time.

Jamie Noble comments on what Jerry Lawler said last week. Noble says that Lawler seems very confident for a man who hasn't stepped into the ring for two weeks. He says that, if Lawler's loss to Rex Butler was a fluke, why hasn't the IC Champion gotten back into a ring and proven that it was just that: a fluke? Noble says that Jerry Lawler calling himself "the King" is a joke, and that he will expose the fraud that is Jerry Lawler at Backlash, when he takes the Intercontinental Title.

(2) JTG vs. Triple H

One-half of the World Tag Team Champions was in action tonight as JTG took on Triple H, who over the last couple weeks, has made a good name for himself with his talent. The Tag Team champions tried to use the numbers game to JTG's advantage... however, on multiple occasions, they failed. Shad Gaspard threw JTG a keyboard that he had stolen from the announce table, but Triple H grabbed it and hit JTG! Frustrated by his lack of interference, Gaspard left the ring, allowing Triple H to hit the Pedigree for the upset win!

Triple H pinned JTG with the Pedigree in 13:09.

However, Burke says that Conway's problems don't really concern him, as he is more focused on winning the WWE Title at Backlash. Burke tells Conway that tonight, they're signed into a tag team match... but everyone knows what's going to happen: Burke is going to pin Orton, just like he's going to do next Sunday.

(3) Vito vs. Rex Butler (w/Missy)

At the onset, the Italian crowd was not very into this match, but the back and forth action between these two switched their opinions. Rex Butler surprised a lot of people in the crowd by staying in the Dress Code for a total of 1:17 without tapping! Dazed and worn out from the stress of the submission move, Butler was still able to execute the Wicked Sensation for the pin.

(4) Rob Conway & Elijah Burke vs. Chris Masters & © Randy Orton

Chris Masters and Randy Orton made a good-looking team tonight, taking on Conway and Burke. The earlier attack of Roughhouse O'Reilly by Chris Masters eased him into the match... but the same could not be said for Elijah Burke, who was paid a visit by Bobby Lashley. Late in the match, Lashley pulled down the top rope, almost getting Orton & Masters disqualified. However, in the end, it was Masters who made Burke tap out to the Masterlock.

Masters smiles before pushing himself off the turnbuckles, walking into the center of the ring. The ring lights shine off his oiled muscles as he flexes for the women sitting in the front row... generating more boos from the crowd. Masters tells the crowd that he heard the announcement that Vince McMahon made earlier in the show about the Handicap Match for Backlash. Masters says that he's totally in favor of the match, because it'll be his and Rob Conway's chance to show O'Reilly why he shouldn't mess with "The Masterpiece" of RAW, and the "Model of Excellence" on Smackdown. Masters then says that, after hearing the announcement, he was ready for a fight... and doesn't want to wait until Sunday in Atlanta. He issues a challenge to anyone in the back to a match. From the announce table, Jerry "The King" Lawler rises and grabs a microphone, receiving a good reaction from the crowd. Lawler, always in his ring attire, says that he has sat back and taken in what Jamie Noble said about him last week... and he is looking for a match this week, as well. Lawler asks Masters, if they both want a match so badly, why not face each other? Masters smiles and agrees, insisting that Lawler enter the ring, and have the match.

But, again, O'Reilly broke it up, entering the ring and attacking Masters from behind. As the referee was sending O'Reilly out of the ring, Masters locked in the Masterlock once more, and this time, Lawler was unable to fight out, giving Masters a huge victory! Bobby Lashley is backstage, dressed in casual attire - a black RAW t-shirt and black suit pants. The light bounces off his bald scalp as he listens to Todd Grisham's question about attacking Elijah Burke last week. Lashley licks his lips and nods his head before he answers. Lashley tells Todd that for weeks Burke had been running his mouth about being "this and that" inside the world of professional wrestling. Lashley says that Burke has nothing to mouth off about, because he doesn't know what it's like to be on the big stage. He says that Elijah has never main-evented a pay-per-view, with a heavyweight title on the line like Lashley did at the Royal Rumble against The Undertaker. Lashley says that he doesn't believe Burke has what it takes to win the WWE Title this Sunday at Backlash. This gets a fairly good reaction from the crowd as a cold stare comes over Lashley's face, and he stares into the camera. He says that if Randy Orton can't get Burke to shut his mouth at Backlash, then he will.

Roughhouse O'Reilly is backstage with a huge smile crossing his face. The crowd begins to boo as his face appears on the Titantron, alongside Todd Grisham. O'Reilly cockily nods as Grisham recalls the actions that O'Reilly has taken over the past two weeks. When asked why he has done the things he's done, O'Reilly says the explanation is very simple. First, O'Reilly says that he doesn't care about the Handicap Match this Sunday night. He tells Todd that he's gotten himself into this position, and there's no one else to blame but himself. He explains that the reason he's targeted Chris Masters and Rob Conway is because both men, on different occasions went over to the ECW brand. O'Reilly says that he was given his first contract with ECW... and he will do whatever he can to protect it's integrity. Getting more and more angry by the minute, O'Reilly says that the only reason Masters and Conway went to ECW was to progress their careers; that they had no desire to be in the "land of hardcore", and that they were complete wastes of his time. O'Reilly says that last week, he signed a contract with Smackdown so that he could keep a closer eye on Rob Conway... and that he was just lucky to have Chris Masters in his line of sight at the same time. O'Reilly says that Sunday night, Masters and Conway will find out what its like to truly be "hardcore". But, in closing, O'Reilly says that tonight, he will prove to the world that the WWE Champion, Randy Orton, is no better then "some ingrate from ECW".

Monday Night Raw
4/30/07
Nashville Arena - Nashville, TN

The show began with a recap of last night's Backlash pay-per-view, showing highlights from the RAW brand matches, only. After the introduction and pyro display, WWE Champion Randy Orton came down to the ring with the title over his shoulder. He told the crowd that, at WrestleMania, he achieved something he had worked his ass off for, and that he wasn't about to let someone like Elijah Burke take it away from him. He said that he respects Burke and that he gave Orton a tougher match then the champ expected... but, the better man still came out on top.

This brings out Shawn Michaels, much to the shock of the Nashville crowd. Michaels said that he was impressed by the way Orton has handled himself, lately, and that he deserved to retain the title last night at Backlash. Michaels said that he was glad to see someone take the WWE Title seriously... and that he didn't think Elijah Burke would've done so, had he won twenty-four hours ago. Jonathon Coachman was seen next, sitting in his office, speaking on the phone. He says that Backlash was a huge success and he feels that Vince McMahon will be very impressed to hear what kind of numbers the event brought in. He then says that he was impressed by what he saw MVP do in the ring, saying that it was a great decision to bring him over to RAW.  Coach's phone call get interrupted as Jamie Noble bursts into his office, demanding a rematch against Jerry "the King" Lawler for the Intercontinental Championship. Coachman chuckles at the request, upsetting Noble, but says that he doesn't think Noble deserves one. Coachman says that, since Noble watched Lawler get counted out... he knew that he wasn't going to gain the title. However, Coach says that the decision can be made by Lawler, if the champion thinks that Noble should get another shot. Noble leaves the office as Coach continues his phone call.

In the ring, Ashley and Kelly Kelly say they want to make a special introduction to the newest RAW Diva: Jillian Hall. The Nashville crowd gives her a warm reception as she enters the ring and gives both Divas a hug before taking the microphone. Hall says that she's honored to be on RAW and that she's looking forward to challenging for the Women's Title... hopefully, sometime in the future. This brings out Women's Champion, Victoria, who promptly gets into the ring and into the face of Jillian. Ashley and Kelly, having found the champ's wrath the hard way, exit the ring but stay close at ringside. Victoria says that she busted her ass to win the Women's Title, going through such women as Lita and Mickie James. She says that she doesn't think Jillian Hall understands how to earn a title shot. She uses Ashley and Kelly Kelly as examples, saying that they each thought they had what it took to win the title, only to come crashing down to earth. Jillian says that she welcomes the challenge and will prove to Victoria that she is a worthy challenger. Jillian extends her hand only to get a hard clothesline from the Women's champ! Victoria continues to attack Jillian as Ashley and Kelly slide into the ring. Victoria gets up and lunges towards both women who duck the move and pull Jillian to the outside. The crowd boos Victoria as the three Divas make their way to the backstage area.

Backstage, Shawn Michaels is seen, getting treated for any injuries he may have suffered from his attack at the beginning of the show. In the hallway, Randy Orton passes by and is stopped by Triple H. Triple H asks Orton why he didn't try to help Michaels after he made a point to come down to the ring and congratulate him on his victory last night. Orton tells Triple H that the issue between Shawn, Triple H and Cryme Tyme does not involve the WWE Champion. Orton says he didn't want to do anything because he didn't want to stick his nose where it didn't belong. Orton walks away, leaving Triple H shaking his head.

In the back, Chris Masters is seen in casual clothes, speaking with Maria. He says that last night at Backlash, wasn't the best night in his short career. Masters says that he doesn't know whether to be OK with the ending of the Handicap Match against Roughhouse O'Reilly, or to blame Rob Conway for costing them the match. He does say, however, that he hates the fact he injured his back during the match and can't wrestle tonight. He says that one thing has made his night a little better... and that's finding out that he is the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title. Masters tells Maria that the title will be his, sooner then later. Masters is then confronted by Rex Butler and Missy. Butler says that he's been sitting on the sidelines for too long on RAW, and that he too should get an IC Title match. Masters tells Butler that he has done nothing to deserve a title match and Butler challenges Masters to a Number One Contenders match next week on RAW. Butler says that he may not have earned it yet, but next week he will.

(3) The Miz vs. Ace Steel

In a very quick match, The Miz walked away with the countout victory much to the shock of the crowd. This was a quick-paced match, until Ace Steel was knocked out cold on the outside of the ring.

The Miz defeated Ace Steel by countout in 2:39.
Rating: * ½

In the back, the World Tag Team Champions, Cryme Tyme, are with Todd Grisham. Shad Gaspard says that they are targeting Shawn Michaels because he stuck his nose where it didn't belong. By saying that Cryme Tyme wasn't acting like champions, he was implying that he was better then the tag team champions. Gaspard says that, the last time he checked, that was racism. JTG tells Grisham that they've been champions since WrestleMania, and asked what Shawn Michaels was doing that weekend: sitting on his ass watching the event from his San Antonio home. He says that Shawn Michaels brought this all upon himself with his comments a couple weeks ago. Gaspard says that he doesn't fear Shawn Michaels or Triple H... because for as long as they've been on RAW, he's seen nothing out of either one of them. He says that Cryme Tyme may not act like champions, but they know how to put up or shut up, and challenges Triple H and Shawn Michaels to a title match... whenever the challenges want one.

COMMERCIALS

After the break, Jamie Noble comes down to the ring and says that he's tried asking Jonathon Coachman for a rematch... but now he's out here asking "the King" for a rematch. Lawler stands up from the broadcast table and tells Noble that he'll get his rematch, next week. Noble says that he's not going to make the same mistake twice; Lawler shrugs off the comment and sits back down as Noble gets ready for his match.

(4) Jamie Noble vs. Carlito

Jamie Noble made good on his promise to "the King", in a match that the crowd was really into. They didn't necessarily like the end result, but it looked like Lawler was impressed by Noble's ability to adjust to the style of Carlito on the fly. The two men stared across the arena, at each other, as Noble left the ring with the boos echoing around him.

Jamie Noble made Carlito submit to the Dragon Sleeper in 19:53.
Rating: *** ¾

Backstage, Randy Orton confronts Triple H, who is seen leaving the trainer's room. Orton says that he wants to apologize for not lending a hand to Shawn earlier in the evening. He says that it was the shock of the moment that caused him not to react, and if he had to do it all over again, he would have done it differently. Orton and Hunter shake hands before Orton walks away. Out of nowhere, Cryme Tyme attacks Triple H, sending him crashing to the floor! They continue to attack him until Shawn Michaels bursts through the trainer's door and scares them off. Shawn checks on Hunter and catches a glimpse of Orton walking away, in the other direction. Shawn narrows his eyes and shakes his head.

(5) Vito vs. © Randy Orton (non-title match)

Randy Orton certainly didn't make many friends tonight as Shawn Michaels made his way to ringside, limping from the attack at the beginning of the show. Vito and Orton put up a good match, but Orton had eyes in the back of his head, keeping an eye on "the Heartbreak Kid"... who stayed relatively silent during the match. That is... until Orton went for a pin. Michaels slid into the ring to break up the pin attempt, causing referee Brian Hebner to call for a disqualification.

[Non-Title Match]:
Randy Orton defeated Vito by disqualification in 8:04.

After the match, Michaels and Orton begin to brawl in the center of the ring until Cryme Tyme rushes down the ramp. As they enter the ring, Michaels turns his attention on them, allowing Orton to leave the ring. As Orton watches from ringside, Triple H runs down to the ring, as well, and joins into the fight. The crowd is going crazy as both teams battle in the center of the ring. RAW goes off the air while all four men are still in the ring.

Monday Night Raw
05/07/07
Bryce Jordan Center - State College, PA

Fireworks explode inside the arena as Jim Ross and Intercontinental Champion, Jerry Lawler, welcome the audience to the campus of Penn State University. Jerry Lawler says that he is looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jamie Noble to defend the IC Title. The commentary is interrupted as Degeneration X's music begins to play and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "The Game" Triple H make their way down to the ring.

Shawn Michaels says he wants answers from Randy Orton about the events that took place last week when Cryme Tyme seemed to be around whenever Orton was seen with either himself or Triple H. Triple H takes the microphone and says that he doesn't want answers, because answers will take too long to receive. Instead, he says he wants a match against Orton tonight! Randy Orton comes out to a tremendous ovation from the crowd, with the WWE Title draped over his shoulder. He swears that he had nothing to do with what Cryme Tyme did do either Michaels or Triple H. He says that he will continue to say it was nothing but a coincidence until someone can prove him otherwise. Orton says that he has not hard feelings for Shawn Michaels before turning to Triple H and accepting the challenge for the match later in the evening. Orton then turns back to Michaels and warns him about having too much on his plate, saying that he doesn't want Michaels to get over his head. {15:00}

After a commercial break, Maria Kanellis is shown, standing backstage - causing the crowd to cheer - as Randy Orton appears on-screen. She asks Orton about his involvement with what happened last week. Orton says he knows that no one is going to believe him because he's the WWE Champion... and most champions will do whatever it takes to make sure the title stays around their waist. But, he once against proclaims that what took place last week was strictly coincidence. Shad Gaspard and JTG then come into view with their Tag Team titles around their waists. They say that Orton doesn't have to be modest about helping them get to D-X last week and that for his assistance, they will have his back whenever it's needed. Orton looks on stunned and angry as Cryme Tyme walks away, laughing. {2:04}

Match One:
Vito vs. Ace Steel

Ace Steel and Vito started off things tonight, with a very well-fought match that saw Steel pick up his second victory in the WWE with the Twist of Cain.

Ace Steel pinned Vito with the Twist of Cain in 11:31.
Rating: ** 1/4

Backstage, Todd Grisham is with Women's Champion, Victoria, who has the title wrapped around her waist. Victoria says that she is continuously disgusted by the lack of talent in the women's division on Raw. She says that she's glad to be the first and only Women's champion crowned on Raw, but that she feels the title is worthless due to the lack of respectable competition. Victoria says that she has already taken care of Kelly Kelly and Ashley, easily. She says that she sent a message to newcomer, Jillian Hall, last week and that Hall should heed the warning and not follow the same footsteps the other Raw divas have. Jillian Hall then appears on-screen, clapping her hands, sarcastically. She says it's funny how Victoria complains about a lack of competition on Raw... and then warns Hall not to follow in the footsteps of Kelly Kelly and Ashley. Hall says that the only warning Victoria has given her, is to watch her back, because Victoria feels threatened by Hall's presence on RAW. Hall says that Victoria hasn't beaten her yet, and until she does... Victoria has no right to say there's no competition on RAW. Hall then walks away, leaving Victoria fuming. {2:15}

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters is with Todd Grisham after another commercial break. Masters says that at Backlash, he injured his back, but that it was nothing serious. He tells Todd that, had he decided to stay out of action, it would've been a sign of weakness...and that's something he isn't. He says that, back pain or not, he would become the Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Title, no matter who walks away with the title tonight.

Match Two:
"Dastardly" Danny Doring vs. The Miz

The Miz continued his winning ways - much to the chagrin of the crowd - thanks to Vito. Vito made his presence known, tripping The Miz, thus disqualifying Doring. After the match, as The Miz got to his feet and screamed at Vito - as he made his way up the ramp - Doring attacked The Miz, hitting the Wham Bam, Thank You Ma'am in the center of the ring. The Penn State crowd looked on in shock afterwards as the referee slowly helped The Miz out of the ring.

The Miz defeated Danny Doring by disqualification in 6:18.
Rating: **
[Vito interfered against The Miz.]

At ringside, J.R. asks Jerry Lawler about his upcoming rematch with Jamie Noble for the Intercontinental Title. Lawler says that Noble is nothing but an idiot redneck from West Virginia and that he should be lucky that Lawler is giving him another shot at the IC Title. J.R. then asks Lawler about who, out of the two men fighting for the number one spot, he would rather face, if he retains the title tonight. Lawler says that it's not a matter of if he retains the title, but that it doesn't matter who becomes next in line. He says that Chris Masters has beaten him once, but in that match, Lawler learned what "The Masterpiece" can and can't do - something Lawler says he'd take advantage of. He says the biggest question would be if Rex Butler wins the match tonight, because he's fairly new to the RAW brand, and not a lot has been seen of what he can do. Lawler finishes up by saying that he'll cross that bridge when he gets to it. {6:10}

In the back, Maria Kanellis is with the World Tag Team Champions, Cryme Tyme, who keep checking her out, smiling to one another. Blushing, Maria asks about the situation with Randy Orton. Shad Gaspard says that it's been great working with Randy, because he's been a main factor in the champs getting into the minds of Degeneration-X. He says that D-X has no chance of winning the Tag Team Titles, because Shawn Michaels has too much he has to deal with. JTG adds that, like Orton said at the beginning of the show, Michaels may have too much on his plate... and if he's not careful, he and Triple H will be watching Cryme Tyme walk away with the World Tag Team titles still around their waists. {3:12}

Match Three:
Intercontinental Championship Match:
Jamie Noble vs. © Jerry "the King" Lawler

Jamie Noble once again had the chance to take the IC Title away from Jerry Lawler. Both men fought hard throughout the contest, which saw the champ come close two times to getting counted out before re-entering the ring. However, seeing how Noble wouldn't stop putting up a fight, Lawler stayed outside of the ring the third time he was thrown outside - thus losing the match by countout... and retaining the IC Title!

Jamie Noble defeated Jerry Lawler by countout in 14:35.
Rating: ** ½

After the match, Lawler - holding his lower back - walks to the time keeper's table and grabs the IC title from Lilian Garcia. He turns towards Noble points to the title, laughing, as he makes his way back up the ramp. Noble is let standing in the ring, furious.  {0:25}

After another commercial break, Rex Butler and Missy Rodgers are backstage with Todd Grisham. Rex says that he watched Chris Masters go back and forth between RAW and ECW over the last couple months, only to find out that he doesn't deserve a spot on either show. He says at Backlash, Masters showed his weakness to the world, and tonight, Rex is going to take advantage of Masters' injured back and become the Number One Contender. Rex then says that he will gladly beat the hell out of Jerry Lawler and become the most dominate Intercontinental Champion in history. {3:17}

In another area backstage, Shawn Michaels confronts Jonathon Coachman. Michaels says that he's been agitated since the beginning of the show with everything surrounding Randy Orton and Cryme Tyme. Michaels demands a match for later tonight, but is told that Coachman isn't sure who his opponent should be. Elijah Burke appears on-screen and says that he heard that Michaels was looking for a match. Burke says that he's the only person to come close to taking the WWE title off of Orton, and he's looking to redeem his loss at Backlash. Burke says that he will face Michaels tonight, before walking away. {4:15}

Match Four:
#1 Contenders Match - Intercontinental Championship:
"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters vs. Rex Butler (w/Missy Rodgers)

This was a battle of two Los Angolans that both wanted a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Rex Butler made good on his promise of focusing on Masters' back, picking up the victory after the Wicked Sensation.

Rex Butler pinned Chris Masters with the Wicked Sensation in 6:38.

After the match, a small preview for Judgment Day is shown as J.R. and Todd Grisham - taking over for Jerry Lawler after his title defense - run down the scheduled matches for the event. They then show a small recap of the confrontation between Shawn Michaels and Elijah Burke. {1:30}

Match Five:
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. Elijah Burke

Shawn Michaels proved once again why is he one of the greatest performers in the business, as he and Elijah Burke put on what could be the greatest match of the evening. Their impromptu battle went all over the ring with plenty of action which ended with Sweet Chin Music for the one-two-three.

Match Six:
Non-Title Match:
"The Game" Triple H vs. © "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton

Triple H wanted to settle the score with Randy Orton for what "The Game" thought was Orton's involvement with Cryme Tyme and the attacks on Degeneration X. Orton wanted to stake claim to his statement of having nothing to do with the attacks. However, those statement became less and less believable when Shad Gaspard and JTG came down to the ring in favor of "The Legend Killer". Throughout the match, however, their attempts to aide Orton to victory backfired as whatever weapon they tried to get the champion was intercepted by "The Game" and used against Orton! Finally, after seeing enough of their actions go wrong, Cryme Tyme slid into the ring and attacked Triple H as he went to pin Orton at the end of the match. The referee had no other option but to ring the bell, awarding the match to Triple H.

Triple H defeated Randy Orton by disqualification in 18:52.
Rating: **** 1/4
[Cryme Tyme interfered against Triple H.]

After the match, Randy Orton slid out of the ring, showing a very strong dislike for the presence of Cryme Tyme at ringside. Shawn Michaels ran down to the ring to a tremendous ovation from the crowd. But, unlike last week, Cryme Tyme slid out of the ring, leaving Michaels standing over a beaten Triple H. Cryme Tyme makes their way up the ramp as Michaels checks on "The Game". Looking up, Michaels locks eyes with Orton who stops in his tracks and places the title over his shoulder. Michael points to Orton and mouths something before Orton walks away. Michaels stands in the center of the ring, shaking his head, as RAW goes off the air.

Monday Night Raw
5/14/07
Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, VA

RAW starts off this week, with Jonathon Coachman standing in the ring where he tells the crowd that something has been brought to his attention. Coachman says that, according to the Board of Directors, Cryme Tyme has not defended the World Tag Team Titles in over a month, thus not fulfilling the 30-day clause in every champion's contract. He says that Cryme Tyme could have one of two choices: to either defend the titles, here tonight... or vacate the titles, immediately! He offers Cryme Tyme 30 seconds to come down to the ring and make a decision. However, the time limit passes and the champions don't appear. Coachman then says that he has no other choice but to make a match for the World Tag Team Titles, tonight in Hampton. Coachman announces that the challengers will be D-Generation X!

Backstage, Montel Vontavious Porter is seen, in a suit and sunglasses. He introduces himself and says that he is quickly going to become the star of Monday Night Raw. He says that, last week, he made his first impression on the roster and guarantees that it'll happen again, later tonight. MVP finishes off by saying that he has his sights on winning gold on RAW... and that his time will come, sooner then later.

Match One:
Bobby Lashley vs. Robbie McAlister

Lashley and McAlister had to not only fight each other, but also a crowd that had no interest in this match. Eventually, Lashley put McAlister away with the Dominator for the win.

Bobby Lashley pinned Robbie McAlister with the Dominator in 14:04.

After the commercial break, Shawn Michaels is seen backstage, with Maria Kanellis.

Maria: "HBK, Jonathon Coachman has put you and Triple H in a tag match for the World Tag Team Titles, later tonight. Is this going to take your mind off of Randy Orton and the WWE Championship, at all?"

Shawn Michaels: "You know something, Maria? No. It's not going to take my mind off of Randy Orton. I've been put into a very strange situation as of late... having to deal with those two no-good thugs that call themselves Cryme Tyme, and having to put up with the lies that keep coming out of our champion's mouth. But, in all honesty, I couldn't ask it for any other way. Tonight, Triple H and I are going to prove that D-Generation X can't be stopped... and we will walk out of here tonight with those titles around our waists. And, before you know it, "The Heartbreak Kid" will become the new WWE Champion!"

Micahels walks away, leaving Maria looking on in awe. The scene then changes to another area backstage, where Todd Grisham is with Jillian Hall.

Todd Grisham: "Jillian Hall, do you have any comments on what transpired between you and Women's Champion, Victoria last week?"

Jillian Hall: "There really was no confrontation between myself and Victoria. All I did was tell her that the Women's division is going to change... especially tonight. I've sat back and watched her dominate the other women on this roster. The only thing is though, Todd, is that tonight, I'm going to show Victoria that I'm not just some pretty face brought over from Smackdown. Tonight, I'm going to give Victoria a fight like she's never seen. And, if I come out with the Women's title in my hand... it's all the better!"

Jillian smiles to the camera and to Todd before walking away.

Match Two:
Carlito vs. Vito

The crowd was surprised to hear that Vito would not be the scheduled opponent for Carlito. However, newcomer Oleg Prudius was introduced, stunning the crowd with his size. The crowd was behind Carlito very early in the match as Prudius made it known that he was not going to listen to the official. Carlito was able to overcome the power and size of Prudius and hit the Backcracker for the victory.

Carlito pinned Oleg Prudius with the Backcracker in 13:49.
Rating: ** 1/4
[Vito no-showed.]

Backstage, in the D-Generation X locker room, Shawn Michaels and Triple H are seen talking.

Triple H: "Hey, Shawn... I know you're looking for Orton tonight. But, I gotta tell ya, he's not going to be a big deal for you. We've got Cryme Tyme for the World Tag Team Titles tonight. By the end of tonight, Degeneration X will be on top of the tag team division."

Shawn looks at Hunter and nods his head in agreement.

Match Three:
"Dastardly" Danny Doring vs. MVP

Danny Doring's "dastardly" ways cost him this match against MVP, giving the RAW newcomer his second straight victory.

MVP defeated Danny Doring by disqualification in 3:28.
Rating: ¾*

As MVP is walking back up the ramp, Jamie Noble walks past him, down to the ring. In the ring, Noble says that he wants one more match against Jerry Lawler for the Intercontinental Title. He says that he'll agree to any match Lawler wants to make, as long as he can get another shot. The crowd begins to boo as Nobel waits for a response. Lawler stands up from the broadcast table and places the IC Title over his shoulder. He picks up a microphone and begins to speak but the lights go out inside the arena. The crowd murmurs, trying to figure out what's going on. When the lights come back on, Lawler is nowhere to be found. Noble starts to look around for "the King" and when he turns around, he comes face to face with Rex Butler. Noble tries to run away, but Rex grabs him by the neck and chokeslams him to the canvas. Butler stands over Noble, staring as RAW goes to commercials.

As RAW returns, a promotional video for Judgment Day plays with "Made of Scars" by Stone Sour as the theme song. When the video ends, the World Tag Team Champions - Cryme Tyme - are seen backstage. They tell Degeneration X that they've held these titles since WrestleMania and that there's no way they're going to give them up to a couple of over-the-hill has beens The crowd boos as the scene fades.

Match Four:
Women's Title Match
Jillian Hall vs. © Victoria

These two women have been going after each other for weeks now, and tonight, they finally stepped into the ring against each other... with the title on the line. Victoria came into the match, confident, after beating every other woman on the RAW roster. However, she underestimated Jillian's desire to wear gold as Hall was able to pin the champion and win the belt!

[hr]

Cryme Tyme started the show by saying they proved they were the better team on RAW, last week, beating Degeneration X and retaining the tag team titles. Shawn Michaels came out and said that they wouldn't have those titles if it hadn't been for Randy Orton interfering. This brought out Orton, who said that Michaels could blame him all he wanted... but the fact remains that he and Triple H lost last week; just like Michaels would lose at One Night Stand. Jonathon Coachman then came out to the stage to announce that, indeed, Randy Orton would defend the WWE Title against "HBK" on June 3rd at One Night Stand. He also announced that they would both be in action later in the program.

In the first match of the evening, The Miz was scheduled to face Danny Doring. But, for reasons that were unknown, Doring was not in Moline tonight. Newcomer, Oleg Prudius, took his spot and defeated The Miz... even with outside inteference from Carlito. After the match, Carlito attacked Prudius from behind and hit the Backcracker before officials rushed down to the ring.

After the match, Jamie Noble confronted Jonhathon Coachman backstage, asking why he wasn't getting a third chance against Jerry Lawler for the Intercontinental Title. Coachman told Noble that, the last two times he's fought Lawler, he wasn't successful. He told Noble that there's a new number one contender... Rex Butler... and that Lawler hasn't even been seen since last week. He did announce that Noble would be Shawn Michael's opponent later in the show.

Jim Ross and Todd Grisham then discussed the whereabouts of the Intercontinental Champion, Jerry Lawler and that, neither he nor Rex Butler had been seen since last week's attack by the new #1 Contender. Ross announced that at One Night Stand - if Lawler was able to arrive - he would defend the IC title against Butler.

The second match of the evening saw "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters take on hometown favorite, Ace Steel - from Chicago - and win with the Fisherman Suplex. The crowd let Masters have it after the match, but he paid no attention to the negative reaction.

Backstage, new Woman's Champion Jillian Hall celebrated her win last week with Ashley and Kelly Kelly. Hall said now that Victoria is no longer the top woman on RAW, Hall would give Ashley or Kelly a shot at the title whenever they wanted it.

In the ring, Vito called out Carlito for no-showing their match last week. He told the Moline crowd that he would not leave until he fought Carlito one-on-one. He said he thought Carlito might be a little busy, with his new found interest in Oleg Prudius, but that he didn't care. After a few moments, Carlito did come to the ring and the match began. Vito found himself making quick work of Carlito, and gaining a bit of payback for the Puerto Rican's actions last week.

A preview for "One Night Stand" is shown as Jim Ross and Todd Grisham announce, again, that Randy Orton will defend the WWE Title against Shawn Michaels and Jerry Lawler will defend the Intercontinental Title against Rex Butler. Todd announces that One Night Stand will consist of both RAW and Smackdown! brand wrestlers... even though Judgment Day took place last night.

Backstage, Maria Kanellis interviewed Randy Orton. Orton said that he would continue to denounce any involvement - alongside Cryme Tyme - to stop Degeneration X from getting the World Tag Team Titles. He said that he has better things to do with his time... like being WWE Champion. He said that wasn't worried about facing Shawn Michaels at One Night Stand, because "HBK" had shown over the last couple weeks, that he's not capable of winning a match when it mattered. Orton said he planned on being WWE Champion for a long time.

In the fourth match of the night, Shawn Michaels took on Jamie Noble. Noble wanted to prove that he was deserving of another IC title match... but HBK had something to prove, as well. Michaels picked up the victory with Sweet Chin Music, giving himself a little bit of leverage heading into June 3rd.

In the main event, Elijah Burke pulled out a huge upset victory over Randy Orton much to the shock of the crowd. Burke celebrated his victory on the ramp as Orton stood in the ring, angry and dumbfounded.

Coachman then calls Triple H down to the ring. With all three men in the ring, Coachman says that Jerry Lawler broke a rule that is stated in every title holder's contract in the WWE. He says that Lawler failed to show up to Jacksonville last night to defend his Intercontinental Title. Therefore, Coachman tells Lawler that he is stripped of the title, immediately! Lawler relunctantly gives up the title, much to the dismay of the crowd. Coachman then states that the rightful new IC Champion should be Triple H, due to the fact that "The Game" was Lawler's scheduled opponent last night at One NIght Stand. Triple H is awarded the title as Lawler looks on in disgust. As Triple H leaves the ring, Lawler pushes Coachman to the side and attacks "The Game"! Officials pull Lawler off of Triple H as "the King" declares to get even with the new IC Champion.

IC Champion, Triple H comes out to the ring - much to the shock of the fans in Tampa. Orton agrees, saying it is too bad, because he'll have to wait to get his hands on the second member of Degeneration X. Orton then says that, when the time comes, he'll be able to say he defeated DX by himself. They stare at each other until Jamie Noble hits the ring. Noble says he may not be the biggest man on the RAW roster, but feels that he deserves a title shot. Noble says that Triple H won the title because of Lawler's failure to defend it. He questions whether or not Triple H can really call himself champion. Noble then tells Orton that because of his misfortunes with the IC Title, and seeing as how "The King" will want his shot, Noble wants to move on to bigger and better things. J.R. then says that his partner, "the King" will take on JTG - one half of the former World Tag Team Champions - in singles action.

The commentary is interrupted as The Miz walks to the ring, holding his throat. The fans in Corpus Christi react with a mixture of cheers and boos. Inside the ring, The Miz says that he doesn't feel bad about not winning the WWE Championship last night at Vengeance. He says he doesn't feel bad, because he walked in and fought Randy Orton with everything he could bring to the table. He did say, however, that he was saddened by the actions that the WWE Champion took to make sure he walked away with the title last night. The Miz says that Orton did nothing but prove that he can't handle the pressure when he's put in a tight spot. He says that Orton knows, deep down inside, that he copped out of the WWE Title Match last night, because he was scared of losing the title in a fair, even match. The Miz says that he wants to fight Orton here tonight, and that he's demanding it be a rematch for the WWE Championship. Randy Orton comes to the ring, with the WWE Title over his shoulder. He tells The Miz that he doesn't know what it's like to be a champion in World Wrestling Entertainment, because he's never held gold during his time in the company. Orton says that, if The Miz had ever held a title, he'd know that champions will stop at nothing to keep what's theirs. Orton acknowledges his actions last night, and says that he might've gone a little overboard but, there's nothing The Miz can do to change it. Orton accepts The Miz's challenge for a rematch later tonight, but says that there's no chance in hell that The Miz will walk out of Corpus Christie as WWE Champion. As Orton begins to leave the ring, RAW General Manager, Jonathon Coachman walks onto the stage. He says that he's listened to both men speak, and that, after watching the tape from last night's match, he has signed a WWE Championship Match for tonight. JTG says that tonight, Jerry Lawler will find out what happens when you step into the ring with a pissed off thug.

Jim Ross and Todd Grisham welcome everyone to Dallas, Texas for the special 4th of July edition of Monday Night Raw. J.R. and Todd talk about the events that took place last week, where The Miz shocked everyone on RAW by beating Randy Orton and becoming WWE Champion. J.R. says that The Miz has been given the night off by Jonathon Coachman - for safety reasons. J.R. then says that The Miz will be in Lafayette, Louisiana next week. Next, J.R. informs the television audience that Jerry "The King" Lawler will not be broadcasting tonight, as he has been signed to face "The Big Red Monster" Kane, later in the evening. He also announces that, earlier today, Jonathon Coachman signed a Triple Threat Match to determine the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Title.

The commentary is interrupted as Randy Orton's fills the arena. The crowd boos as the former WWE Champion appears on-stage in a T-shirt and jeans, with a microphone in hand. He heads down the ramp and enters the ring where he demands the music to be stopped. Orton says that last week he was cheated out of the WWE Title - which causes the Dallas crowd to begin chanting "Pussy! Pussy!" Orton asks the crowd how they know what that is, since it's obviously no one in attendance has ever seen one. He says that he should still be WWE Champion but, do to whatever reason, he isn't. So, he says, he's out here tonight demanding to get a rematch against The Miz, saying he won't leave the ring until he gets it. This brings out RAW general manager, Jonathon Coachman, who informs Orton that the WWE Champion has been given the night off... for that exact reason. Orton becomes irate, saying that Coachman is protecting Miz from an inevitable beating but, Coachman claims that he's only doing it to make sure a respectable contender is named. He says that tonight, Orton will have his chance to prove he is worthy of getting another shot at the WWE Tite... if he is able to defeat three other people: Intercontinental Champion Konnan, Shawn Michaels and D'Lo Brown, in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match. Coachman tells Orton to get out of his ring because he has a show to run. RAW goes to commercials as Orton stares at Coachman while he walks off the stage.

Commercial Break

Returning from commercial, Randy Orton is stopped by Maria for a statement about Coachman's decision. Infuriated, Orton says that he should be WWE Champion... not fighting two has-beens and a guy he's already beaten, in Shawn Michaels. He says that Coachman is a dumb ass and shouldn't be making decisions on RAW. Orton turns and leaves in a hurry, as Maria stands, nodding here head. From behind, Melina attacks Maria, sending her crashing to the concrete. The crowd boos as they watch the events on the Titantron; watching Melina kick Maria in the abdomen. She bends down, next to Maria's ear, and demands that Maria tell Michelle McCool that Melina is coming for the Women's Title. Melina then gets back to her feet and walks away as Maria holds her abdomen in pain.

He then asks Konnan how it feels to finally find out who will be challenging him for the Intercontinental Title. Konnan tells Josh that Billy Roc is not going to be an issued for him, and that he's not worried about losing the IC Title. Konnan reminds Josh that he beat Kane at Vengeance to become champion. Josh then asks what Konnan's thoughts are about being put into the Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match for a shot at The Miz and the WWE Title. Konnan says that he's already beaten the biggest athlete on RAW and that Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and D'Lo Brown don't even up.

Shawn says that tonight, he gets a second chance at becoming number one contender for the WWE Championship. He congratulates The Miz on his victory over Randy Orton last week but, says that he hates knowing he wasn't the one that pinned Orton one-two-three. Michaels says that the tides have changed and that Randy Orton is no longer WWE Champion... but, that won't stop Michaels from getting that bit of satisfaction out of knowing that he can stop Orton from becoming a challenger. Michaels says that he's not just looking for the bulls eye he's put on Orton's back, but that he's looking at the bigger picture: that two other men are standing in his way. Live Broadcast on USA Network

WWE Champion The Miz starts the program by coming out to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He tells the crowd that a lot of people have asked him how he was able to beat Randy Orton for the title two weeks ago. He tells the crowd that fans everywhere have said he was the under-dog in that match, and that they were surprised to see him walk out as the WWE Champion. The Miz says that all those comments and thoughts are fine with him, because it's true. He says he might've been the under-dog two weeks ago but, the fact remains that, for two weeks, the WWE Title has been draped over his shoulder. He tells the crowd that everyone needs a good under-dog story and, as of right now, it's his time. The Miz then comments on last week's four-corners match to determine a new challenger for his title. He says that he was really hoping for Orton to win but, says that Orton must not have wanted a shot bad enough, or he would've won. The Miz says that, for now, he'll have to set his sights on defending the title against D'Lo Brown - the man who won the main event last week. He says that, he is going to go out week after week and do the same thing he has been doing, and hope that the under-dog keeps surviving for a long, long time. As The Miz is about to leave the ring, D'Lo Brown sneaks into the ring and attacks him from behind. D'Lo assaults The Miz before bodyslamming him to the ground. D'Lo then makes his way to the top rope and connects with a frog splash, causing the crowd to boo. D'Lo leaves the ring as officials rush to the ring to check on the WWE Champion.

After the WWE intro and highlight video from last night's Great American Bash pay-per-view are shown, the Monday Night Raw intro begins with "...To Be Loved" by Papa Roach in the background. Coming into the arena, fireworks and pyrotechnics fill the Arco Arena with lights. Jim Ross and Jerry "the King" Lawler welcome everyone to Sacramento, California. J.R. talks about how The Miz was able to retain his WWE Title against D'Lo Brown in a match that was very quick and ended in an unorthodox manner. Lawler says that it doesn't matter how you win, just as long as you keep the title around your waist.

Their commentary is interrupted as WWE Champion, The Miz, makes his way to the ring. He has his title strapped around his waist and smiles to the fans who are cheering him. He gets into the ring and grabs a microphone from Lillian Garcia. Walking around the ring, he undoes the belt and slings it over his left shoulder.

Miz: "You know, last night was one of the proudest moments of my wrestling career, if not, my entire life! Last night, I walked into my first-ever pay-per-view as WWE Champion. And, when the dust was cleared and a winner was announced, I walked out of San Jose with this title around my waist! Hoo-rah! But, you know, I have to give credit where it's due... and that's to my opponent last night, D'Lo Brown. I know, not a lot of people were giving him much of a chance of ever making it to the WWE title match; saying that he didn't have what it took. Well, from personal experience, I can tell you that he's almost there. Sure, he got to the big match last night at the Great American Bash... but, he wasn't able to cross that line and go from challenger to champion. And, because of that failure, I stand before you as the reigning WWE Champion! Hoo-rah! But, I think everyone in this arena tonight knows that I'm going to keep plugging away and taking on all comers, who feel they have a shot at my WWE title... and, until someone proves they are worthy enough to hold it, I will continue this awesome reign for as long as I can. Hoooo-rah!"

The Miz drops the microphone and leaves the ring as the camera goes backstage to show new Women's Champion, Melina, entering the arena.

[Commercial Break]

(Coming back from commercials, Todd Grisham is standing backstage with former Intercontinental Champion, Konnan.)

Todd Grisham: "Konnan, last week was a tough week for you as you lost the Intercontinental Title to Billy Roc. But, in that very same contest, you were attacked by the "Big Red Monster" Kane. Do you have any idea why that would've happened?"

Konnan: "Holmes, to tell 'chu the truth, I don't know watts going on inside Kane's mind. I ain't done nothin' to get in his way."

Todd Grisham: "Well, Konnan... it was you who, at Vengeance, defeated Kane for the Intercontinental Championship..."

Konnan: "... then, if that's what his problem, he should be happy... if he wants a shot at the IC title, he won't have to face me for it."

(Konnan walks away, leaving Todd standing still.)

(Backstage, Todd Grisham is with D'Lo Brown...)

TG: "D'Lo Brown, last night at the Great American Bash, you came up just short of winning the WWE Championship from The Miz. Earlier tonight..."

DB: "Yo, let me tell you somethin', Todd! The Miz beat me last night... and it's not something I'm too proud of as I stand here right now! But, the fact is... The Miz won. Now, I know he's got a target on his back from Randy Orton, and whoever else in the running for the WWE Title. And, after last night, I did a little thinking... I told myself that maybe, just maybe, right now isn't the right time for me to be chasing after something as large as the WWE Championship. So, until I feel I'm ready to step back into the race to be the top man on Monday Night Raw, I'm setting my sights on something that is a little more attainable: the Intercontinental Title! Billy Roc, you betta' recognize, brotha! I'm pissed off and I've got my mind focused on winning that title from you, whenever you wanna put it on the line!"

(... D'Lo walks away, sternly focused as RAW goes to commercials.)

Melina: "Well, well, well... if it isn't the person who used to hold this title so close... ha ha! How's it feel to see someone else with your precious Women's Title, Michelle?"

MM: "Gloat all you want... but, I think we both know who should be wearing that title."

Melina: "Yeah... me! Haha!!"

MM: "OK, if you think you really should be Women's Champion... why not put the belt on the line?"

Melina: "Really? Name a time and place... because it doesn't matter when or where... I'll beat you like I did last night!"

(... Melina pushes past Michelle and walks away as McCool glares at the Women's Champion...  Also backstage, Todd Grishm is seen with Cryme Tyme member, Shad Gaspard...)

TG: "Shad, first off, congratulations on your victory tonight. (Shad nods his head.) A lot of people have been wondering about your attack on Kane last week, here on RAW. Was there - or is there - any motive behind your actions?

SG: "Yo! I did what I did to Kane last week for my own reasons... and those reasons are for me only. It ain't none of your business, nor anyone else's, why I do things..."

TG: (gulping) "OK, very good. The next question is: how are you dealing with the fact that your tag team partner, JTG, was traded to ECW last weekend? And, because of the trade, is the bounty you two placed on T2K's heads still standing?"

SG: "It's simple, dawg! My boy JTG asked to leave because he wasn't gettin' the respect he deserved from Jonathon Coachman and the rest of the smartasses on RAW. He's goin' to ECW where he can let his true thug out and show that he deserves the respect of the people in charge of the WWE! And, as for the bounty... no, the bounty is gone. I figure they ain't no way any two people can team up and win the tag team titles. It'll be up to me to find a new partner and take them back myself! And, that's just what's gonna happen... word!"

RO: "I guess congratulations are in order for your victory last night, eh champ? Well, don't get your hopes up, because there's no way I'm going to give you an ounce of credit or respect! You'll have to earn my respect, and until you do, you will never be as great as me! Do you understand that?

Miz: "Yeah, I'm readin' loud and clear there, "Legend Killer". But, the one you seem to keep forgetting - and need to understand - is that I don't need your respect. You see, I don't need your respect because I already have your WWE Title, and there's nothing you can do about it. You've already wasted your rematch clause, and I schooled you on two separate occasions. Randy, until you start making your way up the ladder man, there's no way you're getting any closer to this title then you are right now. Now... do you understand that? Hoo-rah!"

TG: "Darkside, earlier today we heard that JTG was traded to ECW and that Shad Gaspard has lifted the bounty on your head and your partner's. Have you and Wolfgang had time to react to either of those things, here tonight?

Darkside: "To tell you the truth, we've been thinkin' about it for a while now, Todd. We've come to the realization that, there's just not enough talent on RAW to satisfy our needs to compete. True, Cryme Tyme was a challenge when they were together. But, they've been out of the picture for so long... just like everyone else. There are no tag teams on Raw, and it's a shame..."

(... Darkside is cut off as Jonathon Coachman appears on-screen...)

JC: "I apologize if I'm interrupting anything. But, did I overhear you saying something about there not being enough competition on RAW? Well, that's too bad for you, Darkside... but, I think I've come up with a way to help you out. Right here, next week on RAW, you and Wolfgang will defend the World Tag Team Titles against Aaron Draven and Jerry "the King" Lawler."

(... Coachman pats Darkside on the arm and walks away as RAW goes to commercials.)

Match Observations:

Kane won the right to face The Miz for the WWE Title at SummerSlam on August 26th. However, he can't look too far because Jonathon Coachman has signed a Handicap Match for next week where Kane must take on both Shad Gaspard and Konnan.

Speaking of Shad Gaspard, after interfering in a dark match before RAW - attacking Colt Cabana - he surprisingly defeated D'Lo Brown by DQ. Will Shad's lack of focus cost him a lost next week against "The Big Red Machine"?

Despite the lost tonight, D'Lo Brown will face Alex Porteau in a #1 Contenders Match next week. The winner will face Billy Roc for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam on 8/26.

Sylvester Terkay debuted tonight in a very impressive victory over Mistico.
And, in the champions department: Melina was able to successfully defend her Women's Title against former champion Michelle McCool. The same, however, could not be said for T2K, who saw the mish-mash team of Aaron Draven and Jerry "The King" Lawler win the World Tag Team Titles in a very short match.

A few matches are set from the RAW brand with only four weeks left before SummerSlam.

Match Observations:

Mistico took Kane's spot as the new Number One Contender after defeating Intercontinental Champion Billy Roc for the chance to face The Miz at SummerSlam. However, after RAW went off the air, Mistico immediately quit saying that he wanted to go back to Mexico. Once again, this leaves General Manager Jonathon Coachman without a top challenger with three weeks left before the biggest PPV of the summer.

And, speaking of The Coach, he signed a 4-card contract as a wrestler, which according to sources backstage, will have no effect on his duties as General Manager. It's believed that his match with Sylvester Terkay was a one-time deal.

D'Lo Brown made good on his promise from last week by becoming the top challenger for Billy Roc's Intercontinental Title. They will face off on 8/26 at SummerSlam.

And, in a shocking turn of events, Konnan made Shad Gaspard tap out in less then 1 minute! What an impressive victory for the former IC Champ!

*WWE NEWS*      Mistico (RAW) has quit effective immediately; Adam Flash (SD!) signed a new 6-card contract.

Match Observations:

It appears that Aaron Draven isn't happy with having taken the World Tag Team Title belt away from Wolfgang, as seen by his interference earlier tonight. They will face each other next week on RAW.

After the double countout between Colt Cabana and Darkside tonight, Jonathon Coachman quickly signed a No-Countout match between the two for next week.

ECW Diva, Ariel earned her chance to face the undefeated Melina for the Women's Title at SummerSlam. Maria - the last Diva eliminated - showed a lot of progress in this match, and she may be getting a title match very soon.

The Fatal Four Way title match gave the crowd plenty of suspense, but ended up with a time limit draw. After the show, Jonathon Coachman announced that at SummerSlam, there will be a Triple Threat Match to finally decide a winner.

Match Observations:

Mike Awesome made his debut tonight on Monday Night Raw, putting on a very good match against Vito. Awesome picked up the victory with a big boot to the face on his dress-wearing opponent.

Wolfgang got the revenge he was looking for tonight, although it was by countout against Aaron Draven. After the match, Wolfgang challenged Aaron Draven to a rematch this Sunday night at SummerSlam.

Darkside, the other half of the World Tag Team Champions, showed that when there's no possibility of being counted out, he is a force to reckon with inside the ring, making Colt Cabana tap out in the best match of the evening.

Jillian Hall pull out an upset against the #1 Contender for the Women's Title six days before Ariel faces Melina at SummerSlam. For Ariel's sake, she better hope she can overcome this upsetting defeat.

Intercontinental Champion Billy Roc picked up a victory over one-third of the main event for this Sunday night, pinning Randy Orton. Can the IC Champion keep the streak going and become the first double champion in the WWE?
