Events that occured during the show


Roddy Piper visits Bruno Sammartino's office to demand a match with Papa Shango, due to the incident on Piper's Pit on Smackdown.

Backstage, X Pac attacks Rick Rude for costing him his match.

While doing commentary, Jerry Lawler took some shots at The Rock.
The Rock came to the ring and challenged Lawler to a match, which Lawler accepted.

Papa Shango does a promo challening the Undertaker to give him another title shot at Armageddon.

The semi finals of the Cruiserweight tournament are discussed.
Dean Malenko vs. Mistico
Jushin Liger vs. Ultimo Dragon
The winner of the tournament will face Psicosis at Armageddon for the Cruiserweight title.
Rob Van Dam has to vacate due to an injury.

Another video of the run down playground airs at 10:30-et.
In the distance we faintly hear a group of children singing ring around the rosey.
A message appears that reads the rules have been broken. the players have been set.
The screen suddenly goes black as the message appears. It reads the countdown begins and shows

After Papa Shango's match, the arena goes dark.
When the lights go back on, Undertaker is standing behind Shango and delivers a tombstone piledriver.

Events that occured during the show


Bruno Sammartino announces Kenta Kobashi and Ken Shamrock will face each other to determine who will face Rick Rude for the European Championship at Armageddon.

The Undertaker does a promo accepting Papa Shango's challenge.
Undertaker says he will bury Papa Shango in a casket match.

Backstage, Papa Shango is pleased to hear he gets another shot at the Undertaker.
He runs into Kevin Nash. Nash wishes him luck against Undertaker.
Nash points out he still has a contract for a title shot and maybe he'll face Shango down the road.

In the locker room, Ken Shamrock and Kenta Kobashi react to having to face each other.
They vow they will still be allies when the match is over.

My name is Vince segment: Mr. McMahon continues to attempt to make peace with Andre the Giant.
Bruno Sammartino enters and announces he'd like to help. So he's made a match for Armageddon between Vince and Andre.

Backstage, Kurt Angle is shown watching the Shamrock/Kobashi match.
After their match, Shamrock and Kobashi shake hands.

Before the show goes off the air, the playground video seen on Raw airs.

Mr. McMahon tried to help Andre win his match, in an attempt to have him change his mind about facing him at Armageddon.
Afterwards, backstage, Andre attacked Mr. McMahon.

In the locker room, Chris Jericho and Ric Flair discuss their match.

Mr. McMahon is upset with Andre over the attack.
He tells Big John Studd he's had enough of kissing karma's ass and tears up his list.
Mr. McMahon has Studd attack Hogan after his match as a way to get even with Hogan's friend, Andre.

A video airs at 10:35-et.
We faintly hear a group of children singing ring around the rosey.
A message appears that reads the rules have been broken.
In the distance we can see a man, but it appears it may be a mirage.
A message appears that reads the players have been set.
The playground is shown and it is on fire.  
The final message reads join your league now, time is running out.

After the video airs, we see Sting and Kevin Nash were watching it on a monitor in the locker room.
They look at each other, but don't say anything.

Events that occured during the show


Mr. McMahon ordered Randy Savage to attack Big Boss Man, which cost him his match.
McMahon then had Savage beat Boss Man down afterwards as he continues to get even with Andre by attacking his friends.

The Cruiserweight tournament is highlighted.
Mean Gene Okerlund speaks with both Psicosis and Ultimo Dragon.
Rob Van Dam is present and wishes both of them luck.
He also tells them when he's back he expects to be first in line for a shot at the title.

My name is Vince segment: Vince hosts a clip show of the My name is Vince moments.
He then announces he's made a new list of people who have screwed him over, and in 2008 his resolution will be to get even.

Chris Masters interference backfired, costing Orton the match.
Afterwards, backstage Orton argues with Masters as Heenan tries to calm Orton down.

Papa Shango's came out and put a curse on The Undertaker, which cost him to lose the match.
Afterwards, The Undertaker went backstage and began to fight with Papa Shango.  

After the main event, DX and The Rock fight with the Injustice League.
Bruno Sammartino comes out to announce he's added a match to Armageddon.
The Rock, X Pac, and Scott Hall vs. Kevin Nash and the Road Warriors.
Once things have calmed down, the Injustice League celebrate their win in the ring.

The playground video from Raw airs again as the show is about to go off the air.

Throughout the evening, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed participants to get their thoughts on their matches.

Bruno Sammartino comes out before the Cruiserweight match and introduces Rob Van Dam.
Rob Van Dam comes out to forfeit the Cruiserweight title.

After their match, Davey Boy Smith tried to shake Dynamite Kid's hand but Dynamite refused.

Backstage during the Kobashi/Rude match, we see Kurt Angle and Mr. Hughes attacking Ken Shamrock.
He recovered though to come to Kobashi's aide as he was being beaten by Angle after his match.

Before the Injustice League vs DX and Rock match, a new playground video airs.
All the previous videos have been edited together.

After the match was over, as the druids took the casket to the back, Kevin Nash came out to ringside.
