He welcomes everyone to "Payback" and thanks them for their continuing support of MCPW. He then announces that on December 30th in Chicago, MCPW will present "Road to the Gold" 16 of the greatest wrestlers will face off with the final 4 going to Milwaukee to battle for the MCPW championship. He continues by saying to make sure to read next months News Wire for more information and participants. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Paul London and Brian Kendrick vs. The Prescription Thugs (Dr. Cheung and Darkness Crabtree) Brian Kendrick goes for a flying senton, but Dr. Cheung rolls out of the way. Once again the fans came out and made "Payback" a huge success. 19,198 folks packed into Conseco Fieldhous and another 967,920 caught the action on Pay Per View making "Payback" the most watched MCPW event in history. Comings and Goings With action heating up in MCPW and next months title tournament. Wrestlers from all over the area are trying to get in while the iron is hot. The following wrestlers have been signed to Conditional contracts:. Delirious Chris Harris Mickey Gambino The following wrestler signed a 12 month contract. Brock Lesner Coming Events For some Payback was what they got, for others they fell short but overall Payback was a night to remember. The fallout has already started to ripple throughout MCPW. Friction could be felt between former tag team partners Christopher Daniels and Bryan Danielson after they battled it outside the ring during their Triangle match with Nigel McGuinness. Danielson was not to happy with the way that match ended and made sure the Fallen Angel knew about it. CM Punk found out his secret admirer was non other then John Morrison but Harry Smith tried to interfere but his plans backfired as Punk walked away with the win. The big news of the night was the return of Brock Lesner. We all know the week before MCPW restarted, Lesner was to face Cage in Chicago for the MCPW title. Needless to say that match never happened and Cage was later stripped of the title. Cage was surprised when Lesner made his way to the ring but surprise quickly changed to determination as Cage used the ring post, steps and guard rails to get the victory. Cage has been on a tear since the restart and with next months title tournament gearing up will Cage be able to do what he promised and regain what was taken from him?
