The 18,206 fans packed into the Value City Arena and the 928,000 people who watched it on Pay per view, helped make "Bragging Rites" an event to remember. Comings and Goings MCPW has signed a developmental contract with Dr. Cheung and Darkness Crabtree of the tag team Prescription Thugs Coming Events November 25th the Conseco Fieldhouse will be the location for MCPW #3 "Payback" Tickets go on sale this Friday. If you missed "Bragging Rights" then you missed one of the biggest shows of the year. CM Punk has taken off since the re launch of MCPW and that has caught the attention of one particular wrestler. This former World Tag team champion and world champion told News Wire that "CM Punk was a nobody, a one trick pony who if he ever faced any real competition would fold like a deck of wet playing cards." When told of the comments, CM Punk just laughed and said that it's easy to sit at home and comment but it's another to come to the ring and say the same thing. Sounds like Punk is calling out his mystery admirer. With the MCPW title tournament just around the corner, everyone's jockeying for a position in the 16 man tournament. In a 4-way elimination match, AJ Styles will face Lex Lovett, Katsushi Takemura and Petey Williams. The winner from this 4 way would have to be considered a favorite for the title. In another pecking order match, Christopher Daniels will face Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson in a 3 way elimination match. Will the former tag champs work together to eliminate McGuinness or will all loyalty be left out the ring? When championship gold is at stake friendships are the first to go. Christian Cage last month did what few have done in MCPW and that was defeat Samoa Joe 2 to 1 in a best of 3. Cage told News Wire that last week was just confirmation that with or with out the belt he is still the best thing this company has as a true complete wrestler. Joe learned that last month . Cage may be sitting pretty as the top contender at next month's tournament but we here at News Wire found out that an old friend has contacted Bill DeMott about rejoining MCPW and possibly face Cage at "Payback". DeMott has confirmed that he has received a call and yes Cage will be in action November 25th but due to contractual reason the name will not be released till event time, so folks I guess will have to wait to see who Cage will be facing. Once again, tickets will go on sale this Friday at all Ticket Master locations at Sunday at the front gate.
