Motor City Pro Wrestling
Presents
MCPW #1 "Rebirth"
Joe Louis Arena 9/08/07

We come to you live from the Joe Louis Arena in the heart of downtown Detroit as MCPW prepares to get things back together. The festive mood is quickly ended as Christian Cage makes his way down to the ring, the MCPW Heavyweight strap around his waist. He enters the ring and pulls out a mic. He starts by talking about how since he won the title everyone and he means everyone has tried to take it from him. He talks about Chris Daniels failed attempts, Mr. X's failed attempts and finally Brock Lesner failed attempts. In fact Lesnar was so terrified of losing to Cage again he decided not to resign with MCPW. This brought out some boos from the crowd. Cage continues by saying Bill DeMott has tried to get this belt away from me for months and has failed and now surprise, surprise, MCPW has been sold and now all the titles are vacated. Cage then says that with or with out the title he is still the most dominating force in MCPW and when it's time to crown the new champion, I will get what is mine, I will take what belongs to me and no one will stop me and that's a promise.

Just then Samoa Joe makes his way down to the ring. He tells Cage that he shouldn't make promises he can't keep. He them tells Cage that no one in MCPW history has held the heavyweight title longer or defended it more the he and starting tonight The road to the gold starts with You.

Joe slams the mic into the head of Cage as the two start at each other. Security enters the ring and separates the two Cage screams at Joe as both men are escorted to the back.

Up coming events

October 7th 2007, MCPW #2 "Bragging Rights" will be coming to you live from the Value City Arena on the campus of Ohio State University. Columbus are you ready?

Paul London and Brian Kendrick lost a heartbreaker last month to the Havana Pittbulls by count out and have asked and was granted a rematch The Pittbulls asked about the rematch said only "bring it"

The Kings of Wrestling may no longer be tag team champions but they made sure that they let everyone know that they are still the team to beat in MCPW. The Irish Airborne found that out after the match when the Kings decided to inflict extra damage after the bell rung. Crazy J demanded a rematch next month and made it clear that things would be different. Because of the history between these two teams they were granted a rematch but it will be under Hardcore rules. Any thing goes, no disqualification. Chris Hero laughed when told about the stipulations for the match. "That just makes what we do that much more fun." Should be an exciting rematch.

Former Stable mates AJ Styles and Austin Aries will team up to face the former 2 time MCPW tag team champions Christopher Daniels and Bryan Danielson. Danielson asked if this reunion was just for one night responded "We talked about it but we both have other goals. But kicking Coalition ass is always worth getting back together."

Samoa Joe made it clear that he has his eyes set on becoming a 2 time MCPW heavyweight champion and made quick work of the former champion. Cage who was beside himself last week has challenged Joe to a best of 3 next month. Samoa Joe claims to be the best, Christian Cage thinks he is the best next month one of them will have bragging rights and be in a prime spot for the MCPW title.
