Motor City Pro Wrestling
Mid Week Press Conference
08/08/07

Bill DeMott walks up to the podium, he has a serious look on his face.

DeMott: Ladies and gentlemen, I have some important information to share with you and the many fans who have supported MCPW for the last 7 months. Over the weekend Motor City Pro Wrestling was sold to an investor who as of now would like to remain nameless. Due to this, the October event in Chicago has been canceled. Those who have purchased tickets for this event will be entitled to a full refund. The new ownership has also notified the MCPW talent that all contracts will be up for review and some will not make the final roster. Along with this, ownership has decided to change MCPW schedule from the current weekly PPV format to 1 PPV a month. To help promote MCPW around the region, PPV will take place in a different city so all of MCPW's fans will get a chance to see their favorite wrestler live. Lastly, in the spirit of change and new beginnings, ownership has decided to vacate all championship titles. The titles will be filled at a later date. We hope that the fans will embrace the changes going on and give us a chance to once again prove to you why MCPW is wrestling at it's best.

Our 1st show is scheduled September 2nd at the Joe Louis Arena right here in Detroit. "Rebirth" card will be announced in the next few weeks. Thank you.

DeMott walks from the podium as reports fire off questions, DeMott just ignores them as the press conference ends.
