Rerun's WWF circuit results 9-17

MWF Circuit Unforgiven highlights air Parking lot: Mick Foley is shown waiting for Mr. McMahon to arrive. Raw opening credits Honky Tonk Man pinned Barry Windham with the Shake Rattle'n'Roll in 0:09:10. Rating: ** 1/4 Parking lot: A limo pulls up and Mr. McMahon gets out. He is greeted by Foley and they enter the arena together. COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage: Lex Luger is gloating about beating Shawn Michaels last night. Shawn approaches and exchanges words, challenging him to a rematch tonight. Stevie Ray pinned Rick Martel after a kick to the head in 0:07:08. Rating: 1/4* Office: Bruno Sammartino and Mr. McMahon talk about the current status of Linda McMahon. Bruno tells Vince to let Foley interview him so he can be cleared as a suspect. COMMERCIAL BREAK Parking lot: Kevin Nash and another man are shown outside. He tells one of the security guards to go get Sammartino. Victoria pinned Stacy Keibler after a power bomb in 0:06:40. Rating: ** Office: Mick Foley is asking Vince questions about Linda's attack. Backstage: Bruno Sammartino is informed that Kevin Nash is outside and demanding to see him. COMMERCIAL BREAK Jeff Jarrett and Jesse James defeated The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) when Jarrett pinned S. Steiner with the Stroke in 0:11:08. Rating: *** 1/4 Highlights of Undertaker/Piper from Unforgiven is shown Locker room: The Undertaker receives a package. He opens it and the audience can't see what it is, but Undertaker is obviously shaken up. COMMERCIAL BREAK Locker room: Sting enters and talks to the Steiner Brothers about another tough loss. They tell him to get out of there, but before he does he asks them to consider joining his group so they won't have to suffer these losses anymore. Parking lot: Sammartino approaches Nash ordering him to leave. Nash introduces his lawyer, Clearence Mason. Mason informs Sammartino it was wrong that Nash was suspended for refusing to give up a legal contract for a title shot. Mason tells Sammartino they will sue if he isn't immediately reinstated and the title shot contract honored. Sammartino is hesitant to give in, until The Rock arrives. The Rock talks about beating Nash before and convinces Bruno to reinstate him so he can beat him again. Sammartino agrees to reinstate him. Randy Savage pinned Big Boss Man with the Flying Elbowdrop in 0:09:52. Rating: ** 1/4 [Big John Studd interfered against Big Boss Man.] COMMERCIAL BREAK Office: Mick Foley finishes questioning Vince. After Vince leaves, Foley remarks to himself that Vince remains a suspect. Foley notices Vince has left a briefcase behind, and he starts to go through it. Steve Austin pinned Kurt Angle with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:10:45. Rating: **** [Ken Shamrock interfered against Kurt Angle.] COMMERCIAL BREAK Lex Luger defeated Shawn Michaels by countout in 0:13:16. Rating: ** 1/2 [Sting interfered against Shawn Michaels.] During the match: Sting distracted Shawn Michaels, causing him to leave the ring and resulting in the count out. After the match: Sting and Michaels fight in the aisle way as numerous referees try to break them up. Card rating: ** 3/4 |

Ultimo Dragon pinned Lance Storm with the Inverted DDT in 0:09:09. Rating: ** 3/4 Backstage: Chris Jericho is shown hanging out with the Foo Fighters. COMMERCIAL BREAK Locker room: Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are talking about Nash getting everything he wanted with his WWF reinstatement. They also talk about Nash's match with The Rock tonight. Tatanka pinned Brian Pillman with the End of the Trail in 0:09:13. Rating: ** 1/2 COMMERCIAL BREAK Lita pinned Kelly Kelly with the Moonsault in 0:05:07. Rating: -*** Backstage: Chris Jericho runs into Lance Storm. Jericho praises his match earlier, even though Lance lost. Storm congratulates Jericho on all his singles success since The Thrillseekers parted way. Jericho tells Storm he has to introduce Foo Fighters and get ready for his match with X Pac later this evening. After Jericho walks away, Storm looks annoyed. Raw highlights air Stage: Chris Jericho introduces Foo Fighters, they perform The Pretender. COMMERCIAL BREAK Masters/Orton (Chris Masters and Randy Orton) defeated The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) when C. Masters made Animal submit to the Masterlock in 0:12:15. Rating: * 3/4 Backstage: Mick Foley is shown arriving. COMMERCIAL BREAK Big John Studd pinned Andre the Giant after a short lariat in 0:07:21. Rating: -** [Randy Savage interfered against Andre the Giant.] Office: Mick Foley is shown talking with Bruno Sammartino. Foley is positive he knows who attacked Linda and he's going to reveal it on Raw this Monday. COMMERCIAL BREAK Chris Jericho defeated X Pac by disqualification in 0:09:51. Rating: *** [Lance Storm interfered against Chris Jericho.] During the match: Storm's interference caused the dq finish. After the match: Storm continues to beat on Jericho until he is pulled out of the ring by a group of referees. Locker room: Mean Gene Okerlund interviews Kevin Nash. Backstage: Maria interviews The Rock. COMMERCIAL BREAK The Rock pinned Kevin Nash after a Samoan Drop in 0:14:02. Rating: ** Card rating: ** |
