Office: Bruno Sammartino informs the audience that Linda is in serious but stable condition.  A full investigation is underway to determine who is responsible.  But, the show will go on.

Locker room: Kurt Angle is complaining about his loss to Ken Shamrock at Summerslam.  Chris Jericho is in the locker room and tells Angle to shut up.  Angle gets upset and tells Jericho to meet him in the ring later tonight.

Office: Bruno Sammartino is asking if Nash is ready to surrender the title shot contract.  He refuses so Sammartino honors McMahon's decision and suspends Nash for 30 days.

Office: Mean Gene Okerlund talks to Bruno Sammartino asking him if he will share what the good news was he mentioned on Smackdown that upset Vince & Shane McMahon.  Sammartino reveals they discovered that  Andre the Giant's legal trouble was caused by Vince McMahon failing to do some paperwork for Andre to continue performing in the U.S.  Bruno is making a match with Andre and Big Boss Man taking on the Corporation at Unforgiven on the 16th.
 

The Rock pinned Nailz with the Rock Bottom in 0:06:07.

After the match: The Rock announces now he has his guaranteed title shot back, he is only going to wrestle Championship quality opponents.

Office: Roddy Piper enters and asks Bruno if he will make the announcement now.  Bruno agrees and announces The Undertaker will defend the Heavyweight title against Roddy Piper at Unforgiven.

Locker room: The Undertaker is seen watching the announcement on a monitor.  In a mirror, it appears someone is standing behind him.  He turns around but no one is there.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Backstage: Mick Foley is watching footage of the McMahon attack.  He tells someone off camera he is no longer a suspect as it is clear it isn't him under the mask.  The camera zooms out to reveal The Big Show shaking his head.

Sabu injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 4 weeks.

Locker room: The Hardy Boys enter and ask Mick Foley why he wanted to see them.  Mick hands over his casebook on the McMahon attack. He tells them to have at it while he takes a nap.  Jeff asks what exactly their suppose to do with it, Mick laughs and says come on, you are the Hardy Boys.  Matt tells him their not those Hardy Boys.  Mick apologizes and tells them so their time is not wasted he'll see if he can arrange for them to have a match later.

Bruno/Vince thing could prove to be interesting

the vince/bruno thing is going to slowly develop since i have a bigger storyline starting after the unforgiven pay per view that will run until the end of the year.

but i'm glad your enjoying what you've seen so far. thanks.
