COMMERCIAL BREAK

In the ring:

Linda McMahon: Rick and Lex, you Gentlemen stick around this involves you.[br] As any of you who saw Smackdown last week know, I said I would have some individuals to address tonight. [br] I turn on our WWF programming and see for example, X Pac beating Rob Van Dam with help from his stable mate Scott Hall. [br] I see them have another match in which RVD is going to win the title and X Pac just walks away taking the countout loss. [br] There will be no more of that. At Summerslam, X Pac is going to defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Rob Van Dam in a ladder match. [br] I've also deceided that Demolition is going to defend the Tag Team Championship against all of our past Champions: The Steiner Brothers, Triple H & Scott Hall, and obviously with Rick Martel's partner no longer being with the company, he will get to choose a partner for the match. [br] And what about Kevin Nash? He stole The Rock's contract for his title shot. [br] If Nash wants that title shot, he should have to earn it. The Rock challenged him to a match, and it's going to happen at Summerslam with the title shot on the line.
[br]
(She notices Rude and Luger still in the ring.)
As for you two, Lex Luger, you always interfere in Rick's matches. Well, now you are going to be in the match. Rick Rude, you will defend the European Championship against Lex Luger. And it better be a legit match guys or both of you will be fired. [br] There will be no fingerpokes of doom around here.

After Linda finishes speaking, she leaves the ring. [br] Rick Rude and Lex Luger just look at each other. When Lex turns his back, Rick delivers the Rude Awakening. He then leaves him in the ring and walks away.

When Davey Boy starts to move around a little, we can hear him call Dynamite a few choice words before agreeing to fight him at Summerslam.
