GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1:
The Headbangers vs The Naturals

This match may have beenshort but it had plenty of action, mostly dominated by Thrasher of the Headbangers. The end of the match came when Thrasher had Andy Douglas up in a Canadian Backbreaker, but, Douglas refused to submit. Instead of wasting time & energy trying to get the man to tap, Thrasher simply dropped Douglad down from his shoulder into a Power Bomb for the pin.

[Round 1]:
The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) when Thrasher pinned A. Douglas
with the Power Bomb in 0:05:22.

Brand new backstage interviewer: Trinity is with one of the team participating in the next match: Danny Doring & Delirious. Doring stands next to Trinity as Delirious paces in the background.
Trinity: Danny, you & I spent a short time together in the new ECW & I know how tough you can be, but, why did you choose to team up with a guy that pretty much unknown for this tournament?
Doring: Well Trin, looking back I once teamed with a guy that dressed up like an Amish farmer & we went on to win the ECW Tag Team Title. Yeah we only got to hold those belts for alittle over a month before the company went belly up, but still, we got to become smoething that no one can ever take away from us. Now, tonight, with this crazy son of a gun watching my back, this team up of "D Squared" if you will, can't fail.
Delirious rushes up to Trinity's microphone.
Delirious: Bwajsoamemstyoadfhoacnadihdfaeofjasouadfoajednciasaiehdfoafihsekiefk champions.
Both walk off & Trinity watches Delirious leave with a confused look on her face.

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1:
Danny Doring & Delirious vs Los Pochos Guapos (Aaron Aguilera & Kaos)

Aguilera dominated the early going of the match thanks to his size & strength advantage over the smaller team of Doring & Delirious. It was when Kaos was taggedin that the match started to even out as Doring & Delirious would match him in speed & technique. The action was fast & furious, and even spilled out of the ring with Kaos trying to put Doring through the announce table with the Kaostrify. Luckily for Doring he was able to block it & send Kaos into the nearby guardrail. Doring wold also go ont o reverse an attempt at a top rope Frankensteiner by Kaos into a powerbomb, but, counldn't capitalize on it for a near fall. The end came when Doring finally took control & hit a series of moves ending with the Bareback and then the pin.

[Round 1]:
Danny Doring and Delirious defeated Los Pochos Guapos (Aaron Aguilera and Kaos) when Doring pinned Kaos with the Bareback in 0:18:31.

The teams from the last match clear out of the ring as Kelly & DeMott put over what we have just seen. Before they can finish, the familiar sound of static breaks through the sound system followed by the old nWo theme as Scott Hall comes to the ring with his own microphone.
Each time Hall brings the mic to his lips the crowd starts to cheer loudly. Hall looks around & smiles, then gestures for the crowd to quiet down so he can speak.
Hall: Hey yo! (the crowd erupts) Now I've only got one question for everyone here tonight. Did you all come here to watch some nobodies win the GWR Tag Team Tile? (the crowd roars with disapproval) Or did you all come here to see an original founding member of the (crowd finishes) n.W.o.! (Hall looks around & smiles) That's one more for THE BAD GUY!
Mercy Drive's "Memory" plays as Hall's tag partner Maven comes to the ring.

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1:
Scott Hall & Maven vs Adam Flash & Rodney Mack w/ Jazz

This match was a long battle of back & forth action that saw frequent tags & teamwork from 4 men that usually would never even think of joining forces. The end came suddenly when Maven caught Flash off guard with a quick burst of offense & hit the former CZW Iron Man Champion with a well placed Missile Dropkick for the win.

[Round 1]:
Maven and Scott Hall defeated Adam Flash and Rodney Mack when Maven pinned Flash with the Missile Dropkick in 0:17:09.
Rating: * 1/4

Ring announcer Larry Philips comes back to the ring to introduce the teams for the next match.
Philips: This next match is scheduled for one fall and is our last match of the first round of the Global Wrestling Revolution World Tag Team Title Tournament. Introducing first from Toronto, Canada weighing 265 pounds: Vampiro! (Vampiro's music plays as he makes his way to the ring) His partner is from Ozone Park, New York. he weighs in at 220 pounds; he's not just the coolest, not just the best, he is Justin Credible! (Credible's music plays as the crowd boos the former ECW Champion). Their opponents are the former CZW & MCW Tag Team Champions: first from Chocolate City, weighing 180 pounds, he is the Bill Duke of the Dookie Shoot... ladies only... The Nubian Messiah... The Black Jesus... Sabian! (crowd pops lightly) His partner is also from Chocolate City, he weighs in at a street value of $30 million, he is the Michael Hayes of Getting Blazed, The Mene Gene of Smoking Green, The Teddy Long of Hitting The Bong, The Butch Reed of Green Weed, The Jake The Snake of Getting Baked, The AJ Styles of Black & Milds, and The Bruce Lee of OOOOOOOOO WHEEEEEEE! RUCKUS! (crowd goes wild)

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1:
BLKOUT (Ruckus & Sabian) vs Justin Credible & Vampiro

Vampiro's power advantage seemed to be too much for the smaller team of BLKOUT as both Sabian & Ruckus felt the gothic terror's wrath. It wasn't until Justin Credible got into the ring that the former CZW Tag Team Champions were able to gain control with high flying moves & double teaming. But that control would not last long as Credible was able to get his larger partner back in to deliver the finishing blow to advance to the semi final round.

[Round 1]:
Justin Credible and Vampiro defeated BLKOUT (Ruckus and Sabian) when Vampiro pinned Ruckus with the Nail In The Coffin in 0:14:25.

A short highlight video is shown of how the next match came about with The Headbangers & the team of Doring & Delirious advancing in the tournament.

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final:
The Headbangers vs Danny Doring & Delirious

The experience of Mosh & Thrasher paid off well as the former WWE tag champs worked over their opponents. With the crowd behind them, Mosh & Thrasher put Doring & Delirious to the test. The end came when Delirious took a bad bump, landing awkwardly on his arm. Mosh took advantage while Delirious writhed in pain on the mat & hit the Top Rope Legdrop to keep the masked man's shoulders on the mat for the three count & the first spot in the finals.

[Semi-Finals]:
The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) defeated Danny Doring and Delirious when Mosh pinned Delirious with the Top Rope Legdrop in 0:11:48.

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final:
Scott Hall & Maven vs Justin Credible & Vampiro

This match, like Maven & Hall's first round battle, also featured a rematch of sorts from last week's show as Maven & Vampiro found themselves on opposite sides of the ring again. Hall would spend much of the beginning of the match overpowering Justin Credible, but, it was Vampiro's unique style that caught the 4 time Intercontinental Champion off guard & allowed him to take over for his team. With well placed double teaming & careful cheating, Vampiro & Credible maintained the advantage until Hall managed to make a hot tag to Maven. The youngster's emotions fueled his abilities in the ring to retake the advantage & the win when he hit the former ECW Champion: Credible with the Missile Dropkick for the pin & the other spot in the final round.

[Semi-Finals]:
Maven and Scott Hall defeated Justin Credible and Vampiro when Maven pinned Credible with the Missile Dropkick in 0:08:39.

Hall & Maven don't even get to leave the ring before The Headbanger's music plays. Mosh & Thrasher rush the ring as referee Rudy Charles hurries down & calls for the bell to start the match that will determine the first GWR World Tag Team Champions.

GWR World Tag Team Title Tournament Final Round:
The Headbangers vs Scott Hall & Maven

With not much time for either team to rest, this match was hard fought by both sides. Hall & Maven started off with a combination of high risk attacks & power moves, but, the experience of The Headbangers once again proved to be the deciding factor. Mosh & Thrasher used quick tags & all their double team moves that brought them so many championships in the past to keep the larger Hall at bay & Maven just plain confused. Hall put up a valiant effort against the kilt wearing duo, fighting with everything he had to keep fom benig pinned. Thrasher & Mosh scored many near falls on Hall but could not keep his shoulders down until Thrasher mustered all his strength to lift Hall's 275+ pound frame up for a Power Bomb to capture the GWR Gold.

A video package is shown from the matches last week between Axl Rotten & Supreme as well as Ken Shamrock taking on Muhammad Hassan as the ring ropes are laced with Barbwire for the main event.

Barbwire No-DQ-No-Countout-No Time-Limit Match:
Axl Rotten & Ken Shamrock vs Muhammad Hassan & Supreme

Shamrock & Axl came dressed for the occation, both in jeans & t-shirts. Hassan too, showed up with rugged street clothes & even a pair of gloves to handle the sharp barbs. Supreme however, came dressed in his normal ring attire & showed no fear of the flesh tearing wire. While Axl & Supreme showed no fear of the barbwire, Hassan did his best while he was in the ring to avoid it. It wasn't until Axl blocked his attempt at the Modified STO that Hassan's back finally went into the wire, tearing his shirt & drawing some blood from the wild Arabian. Axl, Shamrock & Supreme all bled from the head, arms, & back as the fight spilled to the outside. It wasn't until Shamrock chased Hassan up the runway that Axl got revenge for his loss last week by hitting the Severe Skull Trauma to put  the bloody "Human Horror Film" down to pick up the victory.

Barbed Wire No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Ken Shamrock and Axl Rotten defeated Supreme and Muhammad Hassan when Axl pinned Supreme with the Severe Skull Trauma in 0:15:53.

Too bad that Delirious broke his arm.  Glad to see the Headbangers take the titles.  Hall and Maven seem to be a decent team but you just know at some point, one will turn on the other.  I am shocked that Shammy and Axl won the main event.  Figured there would be some underhanded shenanigans in that one in favor of the bad guys.
