Wrestling's Toughest Federation
Newsletter #1

Zinn Tobin
"Hello wrestling fans and welcome to the first edition of wrestling's NEWEST project, wrestling's next revolution, Wrestling's Toughest Federation, or WTF. My name is Zinn Tobin and I am the mouth of WTF. Financially backed by the mysterious old man Vertigo, WTF is ready to set the TNM wrestling world ON FIRE!"

"Our first piece of business in this newsletter is to introduce you to just a few of the wrestlers you can plan on seeing in WTF."

_________________________________________

Stevie Richards
Richards may be one of the most underrated professional wrestlers working today. Hell, maybe even one of the most underrated professional wrestlers EVER! Nearly reaching ECW's highest peak during his tenure in the mid to late '90's, Richards traded it all in for a chance at the big time. After the Big Two didn't see what the rest of the wrestling world saw, Stevie Richards hopes to get back where he belongs... on TOP! He is slated to headline WTF's first show against 2 Cold Scorpio.

Richards: "I plan to show the wrestling world how much I have improved over the years and that I can be a top guy anywhere in the world. Scorpio, you will truely be a test for me and I'm looking forward to our upcoming meeting. I'll show you... you'll see."
_________________________________________

2 Cold Scorpio
This is the innovator of high flying. Scorpio has been one of the most influential wrestlers the world has ever seen and many of the sports biggest names will be quick to tell you that. Holding championships and putting on the highest quality of matches every time out, 2 Cold Scorpio is sure to be successful in WTF.

Scorpio: "I've been around the globe. I've faced the best. When WTF makes its debut, I'll prove to everyone why I AM one of the best.

The Genius
So... The Genius. He reached the peak of his career as a low-card, loser to the stars. When WTF officials contacted him to see if he was interested in jumping on board we were delighted to be met with poems of all kinds. Apparently The Genius has been looking for a stage to express himself, in rhyme of course, and WTF is offering just that.

Genius: "I wrote a small poem for my big return. It goes like this:"

"The Genius is coming back...
to professional wrestling again.
Where my success will triumph...
what it was way back when.
And in light of my return...
I feel sorry for those that are deaf.
For the simple reason you can't hear my poems
in WTF"

"The Predator" Sylvester Terkay
Terkay is a BEAST in every sense of the word! Having gained most of his fame internationally, Terkay is one of the hardest hitters this sport has seen! He saw a little bit of light in the U.S. as an early member of WWE's version of ECW, but not much came out of that. Now, Terkay sets his sights on WTF and intends on running through anyone and everyone put in front of him.

Terkay: "RRRAAAAWWWRRRR!!!!"
_________________________________________

James Gibson
Gibson won't hide the fact that he's a redneck white trailer trash. If you've never heard him speak, the John Deere logo on his tights would tell you who he is. He also won't hide the fact that he's a phenomenal wrestler. He's reached success in both WCW and WWE but his biggest accomplishment was becoming ROH World Champion. He hopes to add to his resume here in WTF.

Gibson: "If you think you've seen the best of James Gibson then boy you're dead wrong! Put anyone in front of me and I'll knock 'em down!"

Scott Hall
As far as name value goes Scott Hall may easily be WTF's biggest acquisition. Hall is a household name... and always seems to be surrounded by controversy. His battle with his "demons" was no secret, but it appears as though he may have finally won the war. Is it too late though? Has Hall's best years passed him by? At a glance, his weight gain could be a good indication that they have. However, Hall has signed on with WTF in an effort to prove wrestling fans otherwise.

Hall: "I'm just looking to get back in the ring and give it my best. The past is behind me and I'm looking to the future. The mochismo will once again ooze freely, main."

Zinn Tobin
Wrestling fans, please be sure to check out WTF's next newsletter as you will find out MORE wrestlers that you can expect to see in WTF. As stated earlier, in the main event of WTF's debut show, Stevie Richards will be taking on 2 Cold Scorpio. I'm Zinn Tobin, this is WTF, and thank you for reading!
VertigoPosted on 07/17/07 at 17:01:47

Alright guys. This is my newest project. It's the first circuit I have posted here since my Cincinnati Pro a long while back. I've been doing a TNMRG fed since, and I'm still doing it, but wanted to try something new.

This fed does not follow any ruleset. The cast of wrestlers may not intrigue many of you but I wanted guys who, a) were underutilized in TNM and, b) have personalities I can run with or manipulate.

This newsletter presentation is a different thing I came up with which I thought would help gain a little notice. I will stick to a newsletter format in presenting results as well. Rather than posting results WHILE they happen, I will post a newsletter from Zinn Tobin reporting the results, say the following day.

I think it's a very cool idea and I'll definitely be following.  I like your roster as well so it should be interesting to see how things come along.  Good luck.
shapyPosted on 07/17/07 at 21:11:28

very innovative...i'm really looking forward to seeing how this pans out. richards/scorpio is a great way to kick it off -- already got my attention with that!
Rick GarrardPosted on 07/18/07 at 02:19:13

very interesting concept.  all I have to say about it is...

WTF?!?  :)

Wrestling's Toughest Federation
Newsletter #2

Zinn Tobin
"Hello wrestling fans! Zinn Tobin back with the 2nd edition of WTF's newsletter! In this newsletter you will be introduced to more of the wrestlers you can expect to see in WTF! Also, on top of the announcement made in the last newsletter that Stevie Richards and 2 Cold Scorpio will headline the main event we will also inform you of some more matches you can look forward to at WTF's First Annual show!"
_____________________________________________

Paul Burchill
When Paul Burchill announced his ancestry dated back to pirates and then actually BECAME a pirate, fans were buzzing! A professional wrestling pirate with the actual wrestling ability that Burchill possessed was sure to be a success. Apparently Vince McMahon didn't get the memo on just how over Burchill was as a pirate and demoted him. Well, nothing can take away a person's ancestry and if Burchill wants to be a pirate then he is going to be a pirate!

Burchill: "Long nights at sea be havin' left me voyagin' fer dubloon an' 't seems th' best place t' find this booty I long fer be in WTF! ARRRRR!"

Trevor Murdoch
Murdoch's biggest accomplishment is winning the World Tag Team Championship in WWE with partner Lance Cade. While this is great, Murdoch still feels overlooked. His partner Cade gets all the credit due to his physique and his charisma while Murdoch feels left in the shadow. In WTF Murdoch looks to change that opinion and be a success on his own.

Murdoch: "I ain't one to talk much but lemme tell ya this, WTF. Whoever stands in my way is going down. The time for Trevor Murdoch to see the top of the mountain is NOW!"

El Alebrije
Look at this guy. He wears the brightest outfit, has one of the scariest looking masks, and has pretty butterfly wings on his back! This luchadore brings some international flavor to WTF. What can you expect from him? Hell, who knows. If his looks are any indication of his wrestling style and personality then I think we're all in for a treat!

Alebrije: [We couldn't figure out what the hell he said! Maybe we should invest in a spanish translator]

Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson
One of the fastest rising stars in professional wrestling, The Machine Gun is destined to set the wrestling world on fire! With the last name Anderson, it's no secret that he comes from a long line of successful wrestlers. Never one to hide his feelings or be outspoken, Anderson is a big mouth who can back up everything he says.

Anderson: "WTF, get ready! Get ready because Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson is taking over! That's right, baby, The Machine Gun has his sights set on domination and WTF, YOU are the target. And after each and every night that I take care of business in WTF I'm gonna hop on a plane... and I'm gonna fly to the beach. Who knows, maybe Mexico? Maybe North Carolina? But when I get there there are gonna be girls.... girls lined up, waiting for The Machine Gun. And I'm gonna walk off the plane, walk onto the beach, and I'm gonna take care of business there too."

**Here are some links to actual Anderson promos. Highly recommended:

Jim Powers
From being a nobody to being a somebody back to being a nobody success just always seems to elude Jim Powers. After a long hiatus from the sport, Jim Powers promise to deliver on his comeback. We hope so, but doubtful.

Powers: "I'm tired of losing! I'm tired of being called a loser! Plus, I'm NOT gay! WTF is gonna feel the POWER!!"

LAX
Homicide has a genuine mean streak and Hernandez doesn't know his own strength. Combined, these two are lethal. They can handle things on their own but they're nearly unstoppable as a tag team.

LAX: [When asked for comments, we got them, but they were laced with plenty of profanities. Basically, LAX is going to kick some butts and give no mercy.]

As promised, here are a few other matches that have been added to WTF's debut show, appropriately titled Once Upon a Time. Why that's appropriate, I have no idea....

[WTF - Show #1] Once Upon A Time
** Stevie Richards vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
** LAX vs. James Gibson & Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson
** Scott Hall vs. Trevor Murdoch
** Paul Burchill vs. Jim Powers

That's not all. You can also expect to see Sylvester Terkay, El Alebrije, and a few suprises! Also, The Genius has said he has something more than just a poem to present at Once Upon a Time. Your guess is as good as mine! WTF... over... and out...
shapyPosted on 07/19/07 at 19:54:49

Burchill: "Long nights at sea be havin' left me voyagin' fer dubloon an' 't seems th' best place t' find this booty I long fer be in WTF! ARRRRR!"
haha, this is too funny. are you having as much fun writing this as we are reading it? definitely a different array of talent on your roster, but looking good. yeah, what's appropriate about 'once upon a time?' i guess maybe cause it's the beginning of your fed and that's how most stories begin with...
VertigoPosted on 07/20/07 at 01:52:45

Yes, it's fun. The storylines I'm writing are making this project pretty exciting for me. I'm not leaving anyone out! Thanks for reading.
The TNM Members ChampPosted on 07/22/07 at 18:10:28

I like the eclectic variety of wrestlers being used for your promotion, Vertigo. I think what is even better is that you're enjoying booking and writing for this promotion too. That's the most important thing.

Also, will Alebrije be seconded by Cuije? AAA has a lot of wrestlers that would be good for this promotion or any TNM circuit.

Hush!! No more questions about Cuije...
