There is a large group of police officers standing by and the agents instruct the police to follow them. Raw opening credits Andre the Giant pinned Kane after a forearm smash in 0:06:03. Rating: 3/4* Stage: Mr. McMahon comes out onto the stage with the two agents. He informs Andre that the two gentlemen with him work for the government. They brought to his attention that there appears to be some problem with Andre's work visa. Until this matter is taken care of, Andre can longer be in his employ. In the ring: Andre says he doesn't understand. What exactly does it mean? Stage: Mr. McMahon tells him if the matter is cleared up, he can come back and work for the WWF. If not, he could possibly be deported. As the agents and the police head down to the ring, Mr. McMahon tells Andre to help his cause and go peacefully. COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage: Velvet Revolver is hanging out before they perform. Honky Tonk Man approaches Slash to talk about being guitar players. Honky Tonk Man claims to be better than Slash and insults Slash's appearance. Slash keeps his emotions in check. But, after Honky Tonk Man walks away, Roddy Piper approachs Slash and asks if he'd like a chance to get even later for his insult. Melina pinned Michelle McCool after a flying axhandle in 0:06:10. Rating: -1/4* A recap of the first weekend of the Midwest Wrestling Federation is shown. Ringside: Jim Ross raves about the debut episodes of MWF Superstars. He promotes the show for Saturday. Matches scheduled are: Test faces Billy Kidman. London & Kendrick face Mike Awesome & Mike Knox. And in the main event Al Snow defending the MWF Hardcore Championship against Rhyno. [br] He says he saw Nash on MWF Superstars last weekend and wants to know why he is scared to come back and face him? The Rock again challenges Kevin Nash to a match this Friday on Smackdown. Brian Pillman pinned Ric Flair after a superplex in 0:10:08. Rating: *** 3/4 Aisle way: During the match, Dean Malenko comes out to watch. He doesn't get involved though. COMMERCIAL BREAK When Roddy Piper is introduced, he's accompanied by Slash. Roddy Piper pinned Honky Tonk Man after a bulldog in 0:11:41. Rating: *** Ringside: During the match, Jeff Jarrett distracted the referee when Piper was in control. Jerry Lawler got up from the announcer table and took Honky Tonk Man's guitar. He didn't get very far though, as Slash punched Lawler and grabbed him and hit his head against the ring post. Slash then took Honky Tonk Man's guitar. In the ring: After the match, Honky Tonk Man was outside the ring and helped up by Jeff Jarrett when they noticed Slash had the guitar. He was motioning that he was going to destroy it and Honky Tonk Man was begging him not to. Slash then plucked a few chords before tuning it and playing a few more chords. Honky Tonk Man seemed relieved. Until, Slash shook his head and smashed the guitar against the mat, breaking it. Honky Tonk Man started going nuts outside the ring and had to be restrained by Jarrett. Piper and Slash celebrated in the ring. Rock tells him if Nash isn't there, X Pac can take his place. Smackdown opening credits Mick Foley pinned Rick Steiner after a piledriver in 0:07:05. Rating: **** 1/4 Promo for Vengence airs COMMERCIAL BREAK Ken Shamrock pinned Vader after a legsweep in 0:08:24. Rating: ** 1/2 Office: Mr. McMahon is talking with Randy Savage. Mr. McMahon says he's going to make Savage's match with Jericho tonight the #1 contender match. The winner will face Undertaker in the main event of Vengence. Locker room: Mean Gene Okerlund is talking with Butch Reed. Reed talks about Ron Simmons having left the WWF and he's looking for a replacement as a tag team partner. Sting says tonight is the night they beging to make more of an impact in the WWF. William Regal and Dean Malenko battled to a no contest in 0:05:14. William Regal tore his left achilles tendon. He will be out for approximately 4-6 months. Rating: * 1/2 During the match: William Regal collapsed due to his injury. The referee then stopped the match. Raw highlights shown Ringside: Gorilla Monsoon announces there are no updates regarding Andre the Giant at this time. In the ring: Sting announces after months of preparations his group - the Injustice League - are ready to launch Project Revolution. Steve Austin's music interrupts Sting. Austin is on his way to the ring for his match with Luger. COMMERCIAL BREAK Steve Austin defeated Lex Luger by disqualification in 0:10:12.
