Jim Ross and Todd Grisham welcome everyone to the final tri-branded pay-per-view, and detail the actions of Vince McMahon, leading to this decision. JR and Grisham then talk about the up-coming matches from RAW, including the WWE Title Match between Randy Orton and Elijah Burke. JR says that "The Legend Killer" came close to losing to Roughhouse O'Reilly Monday night on RAW, but was able to pull out the victory. Grisham says that Burke has been waiting for his opportunity ever since he signed his RAW contract after WrestleMania at the beginning of April. They both agree that it's going to be a great match, and a great night this evening.

They then turn things over to Joey Styles and Tazz of the ECW brand. They talk for a few moments about the new names they've signed since the contracts became non-guaranteed on April 1st. Joey Styles says that he feels ECW is going to get the short end of the stick after tonight, because there will be hardly any ECW-only pay-per-views... if any. He says that it's obvious by the fact that there's only two matches from the ECW brand this evening... but says that they're going to overshadow everything else on the card. Tazz says that he feels the pain that the rest of the ECW roster is going through, having been there earlier in his wrestling career. He says that all four men that are competing for ECW tonight will have their own careers on the line due to the hardcore and intense nature of the Gimmick Matches that have been signed by ECW general manger, Vince McMahon. Joey then says that the man with the biggest chip on his shoulder this evening is Matt Striker, who was told by McMahon on Tuesday night that, if he doesn't beat Sabu tonight, Vince McMahon will no longer have anything to do with Striker. He says that's a lot of pressure for Striker, who's been the ECW Champion since it's inception in January. They then turn their attention to the Tables Death Match between Chavo Guerrero and Balls Mahoney. Tazz says that Balls is one of the legends of the ECW brand, but commends Guerrero for stepping into the "land of hardcore".

John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Michael Cole interrupt as JBL tells Tazz that Chavo should be commended, because he was one of the best superstars Smackdown had in it's early revival. They then discuss the happenings between The Great Khali and King Booker over the World Heavyweight Championship. Michael says that, Friday Night, he thought he saw a different Khali as Daivari returned to Friday nights, after refusing to sign a contract. JBL says that Khali is the biggest superstar in the business, and it's going to take a miracle for King Booker to win the title tonight.

(1) Christopher W. Anderson vs. Shannon Moore

Christopher W. Anderson and Shannon Moore continued their rivalry tonight, as Anderson was looking to exact some payback for the embarrassment he claimed he suffered after losing to Moore in their first match against one another. However, tonight, he wasn't able to get the revenge he was looking for, as Moore hit the Mooregasm for the one-two-three. After the match, complaining about a fast count from the referee, Anderson attacked him, hitting the Anderson spinebuster in the center of the ring!

Shannon Moore pinned Christopher W. Anderson with the Mooregasm in 17:34.

He says he still doesn't consider the ECW legend a threat, but he will take the match seriously tonight. He says that if he doesn't, he's not only losing the ECW World Title, but it's also losing the support of Vince McMahon. Burke says that he's listened to everyone else who's been in a title match tonight, say that they're gong to do whatever's necessary to walk out as champion... however, no one has done that, yet. The Striker/Sabu match was for the title... but somehow, since Sabu won the gimmick match via submission, the title didn't change hands?

Odd, I thought, too... oh well. Just gives me something to go with.
