During the match, Jerry Lawler continues his insults of Roddy Piper.
Jeff Jarrett's interference caused Roddy Piper to lose.
Afterwards, Piper challenges Jeff Jarrett to a match this Friday on Smackdown.

Backstage, Maria is hanging out when Melina enters.
Melina has an exchange with Maria and feels disrespected by her.
Melina then attacks Maria.

Lita pinned Torrie Wilson with the Moonsault in 0:06:59.

Kevin Nash comes to the ring.
He tells Hulk Hogan it's time and calls him out.
The Real American starts to play, but Hogan does not come out.

Linda tells Nash he knew full well that Hulk Hogan was not going to be here tonight.
She says he's the real coward for challenging a man who isn't even in the building.
But, if Nash wants to fight, then she'll set up the match for Smackdown this Friday.

In his office, Mr. McMahon talks with Big John Studd about Linda throwing her weight around.
He says it was a huge mistake to bring her into his business.
He wonders aloud how to make her stay out of it.

Backstage, Mean Gene Okerlund interviews Kurt Angle.
Angle talks about how easy it's going to be to beat Rick Steiner.
He says it's just a warm up for when he wins King Of The Ring.
